converting text from Kanji-Hiragana mixture to Roman is a one-way process, so it's not unnatural to feel difficulties in reading it. 「既知の事象」(known phenomenon) likely be converted to "kichi no jishou", however reverse-conversion candidates lists a lot; like 基地(military base)、既知(known)、吉(luck)、機知(wit)、or more for kichi, and 事象(phenomenon), 自称(self-professed)、次章(next chapter)、自傷(self-injury) and maybe even more.
There are some questions about the idea of your MARU obligation.
Why do you think that you make MARU indispensable to solve the troll problem? Isn't it possible to adopt other methods to solve the troll problem? Why did it become an idea to collect money from users? In the idea of your indispensable making MARU, besides, is there a reason? Is it a reason for money of management besides the troll problem solving? Why do not you think the translator and deleters are employed for a fee? It for is management and communication for this BBS.
You do want to collect money and abolish the bulletin board? We request a clear explanation from you if differing.
>>300 Maru is for making things run smoothly on bbspink and 2ch. It is not a huge money making thing, and very inexpensive. It is a way to discourage bad users, as they can be canceled and controlled easier. Of course I want to collect money, and no I do not want to abolish the bulletin board. Please use the word I instead of we. These are your questions my friend, please take responsibility for your words.

My dictionary has the kanji you are showing me, but my input editor can't make them the same native way you make them. If I read this without your help. I read Shiri the well known elephant.

>>322 馬の小便みたいなビール should be more accurate, though I've never heard of term like that. ビールの駒尿 means "beer's horse-urine". 駒(koma) is a bit old letter now used under limited situation, like 駒犬(koma-inu, sculpture of a dog in Jinja gates).
>>328 Supplementation Will you increase the number of those who delete it more? Will you think that the translator is necessary? Are they : even for a fee? Will you make it before deciding the MARU rule?
>>329 Deleters are volunteers, I am happy to increase them. Some of them have left because of a loyalty to someone else. They should reconsider that, even though my Japanese is bad. I am much more loyal to them that that other nameless person. It would be nice to have a Japanese translator. I think I posted a request for that a while back. There are Japanese employees at my company, but I do not force participation on 2ch, or bbspink. (Maybe I should), but they are not very sukebe oriented at least publicly, so I do not force that.
>>301 > Maru is for making things run smoothly on bbspink and 2ch. > It is a way to discourage bad users, as they can be canceled > and controlled easier.
I think it's not bad idea to softlanding curent abuse probrems. We should be going "High-risk" to "Middle-risk" bbs. It is recognizable roadmap for me.
>>340 Misuzuya-san, please tell me more of the roadmap you see. Your vision might be very good, but I would like to hear it. If you need to use Japanese only that is ok.
>>344 My intention is clear. It is to fix the vandalism problem to protect our 女神 board and other boards. I am testing many ways now. Maru is one way, and it is being discussed here now.

>>363 'kay, I'm also not good at dealing with numbers, aside what about disabling post through p2? p2 users should still be able to post directly from their connection, while trolls can't use p2 to obfuscate their origin of connections or avoid limitations like minimum post intervals.
>>366 I was thinking about that, but I think p2 has a reporting system. I have the p2 id of the most violent one right now. I would like to report it to p2 so they can disable it. Lets try that first.
>>373 I can do that too, but the program will have to be modified. It is definately something that will happen fast. You are a good guy with very good advice. Thank you.

>>346 Lastest goal is "fixed for managementable scale bbs for Jim". It is required for inform that you have a right to control writing permission. This is your bbs, Now you are exact true manager, I think. :)

>>392 It is important to understand that bbspink is not a moderated bbs. When the rules are violated and reported we do something about it. Thank you for your help and advice, it is appreciated. Can you tell me what you mean by middle-risk? Is that the shade between black and white?
I think what Misuzuya-san is saying is that people should acgknowledge and understand your presence at BBSPINK. Some are thinking that this site is admin-less board, thus Arashi occurs more often.
Jim-san, Let me know any message that you want/need to be translated to avoid mis-communication :)
>>398 Thank you for explaining that. I am so sorry I don't know that ratio. I think it might be something for debate, because each post would have to be judged and decided on. Pasegueno has been active since Friday night, how many unique posters since Friday?
>>418 Thank you for your response. That number, 14, is far less than I thought it would be. What I meant to say was that there'd be so much of bad guys to make people to come directly here and ask you to do something against vandalism, but 14 vs 10k, 100k, or whatever more is really low enough to forget about ideas of agressive banning or actual ratio. thanks again for your response, and involvement in this issue.

Native English speaker won't have much reason to try it. some Japanese universities require students to get some score on it, cuz they love exams, especially when they have definite goals like "score: 990" :)
Japanese loves exams and certifications :) BTW, even if you are native English speaker, it is difficult to achieve high score on TOEIC. Though with basic strategy, many non-natives can achieve 700 and up. I know this cause I used to tutor for this test lol It's all about strategy and basic knowledge.
>>437 That is not necessary. The Japanese sukebe words, don't all translate. There is much more thought that has gone into sukebeness in Japan then any other place I can think of.
>>432 O RLY? I agree that the test is about basic knowledge, but I doubt you ever need to look for stuff like strategy in it. Say "don't think. feel", it's a matter of how you can use your instinct to understand English.

Just my personal thoughts...
BTW, great quote! It applies to many things like driving at race track :)

---Excitement translation--- It is not possible to write it in bbspink in the p2 service. Generation around 0 o'clock of today
In p2, an external board (Bbspink is included) is not official official correspondence of 2ch though it is ASP service. However, I had been embarrassed because it doesn't write it yesterday though it was possible to write normally. When the explanation or measures of the reason that cannot be written can be done, it is welcome. -----
looks like p2 is not available for post through to BBSPINK. since last midnight.
p2 is an official ASP service from 2ch. posting to external board like BBSPINK isn't supported, but it worked well with pink till yesterday. I'd like to hear some explanation or solution on this issue from you.
>>548 I will check on it. It could have been caught in one of the blocking programs. Don't worry if it is we will fix it. There was a p2 problem last night with one of p2's customers. That might have caused it. Abuse, from one ip can trigger an automatic event. Let me clear the log, and see if that fixes it. If it is caught again. Let me know.
>>549 As you say, it is not officially supported. If it works though, that is great. The logs will clear and we will see if it works. I need to have the blocking on at this time for other reasons. If p2 is picked up and turned off automatically I can not help it.
>>556 The log is cleared, except for one server that Pink has been repeatedly attacked on. Lets see how it works. I have forgot my p2 account. Would someone like to test it?
>>561 It is a lot of pressure to be the translator. Thank you for translating too. Maybe mankatsu has quit already? He is a volunteer translator so it might be he is just busy with his work.
>>554 p2 is turned back on all the servers except for Venus. We are a little short on hands. Right now I am using cats hands. When there are more people that are interested in volunteering then we can turn p2 back on Venus. It will have to be monitored.

Overview of conversation flow (for Jim-san) talking about automated perfect translator. I think it's not going to happen for a while, or at least until we enter Robo-cop age. To do the perfect translation, "thinking" takes important role, thus to make an AI to think, we mostlikely will need another 20~30years.

wow, ever imagined this thread goes this fast :) I think p2's competance is in its front-end. I own no Maru or P2 account, but I see many users of smartphones, PDAs, and other limited ability devices answering question "what's the best 2ch browser on this?"with "I'm using official P2". so I guess it just works on any device in any OS, as an ASP. That's important, because there're some 2ch board difficult to browse and navigate directly through web browser, and sometimes people gets their ISP temporallily banned and want to get around it, and sometimes they want to write through anon proxy. Definite reason why P2 and Maru coexists are not in my knowledge, maybe just because they have different origin. anyway these things do happen in 2ch.
>>721 Yes that is obvious. I got very good support the two times I asked for help on the p2 thread. However it is still beta, and probably they are still discussing how they will block banned ISPS. I could not imagine them wanting to allow people to get around those bans so they can commit vandalism.
>>722 じむさん、忙しくて大変だと思います、ありがとうございます > * p2からの書き込み時には、ユーザーIDを2chに送信しています。荒らしユーザーは、アカウントを停止することがあります。 > At the time of the note from p2, I transmit user ID to 2ch. I damage it, and the user stops an account. ユーザーアカウントのストップで規制してください、おねがいします
>>726 I appreciate your efforts, you are a good guy. Deletion is hard on the server and the load goes up, then we need more servers. Will p2 buy us servers?
>>719 >Yes, so this is primarily for people with smart phones? not only ON smartphones. also for people with lots of threads to watch and want to have device-independent bookmarks and history. I've never heard of 2ch browser support device synchronization. so it's available on a really wide range of devices, it kills needs of syncing, and it need no installation steps.
>Maybe they are already banned for a reason, and should not be allowed around it. ISP bans uses a big target. many innocent users will be kept banned till ISP do something against troll and request unban to 2ch. imagine if 2ch bans "*.isp.com" because there's no way to identify trolls from other users. p2 doubles steps to kickout trolls indeed.
>I have an idea. Maybe p2 should use that block list as well. Then it might >be more functional for us. I agree with that. p2焼き and per-server p2 lockout is kinda bit of overkill. but as you have previously mentioned it needs lot more volunteers.

Definately, I want to know more about you though.
>>745 >>721 Jim-san who has researched on the current situation of Megami board is talking and most arashi was from p2... Of course there are people using it normally
>>726 I think it's a great test? If arashi is utilizing p2 as a way to come back and arashi again, then ban the account? I think it is also a good idea to keep on banning the p2 account If arashi keeps on opening new credit card, he/she can't pull out loans from a bank in the future and also, arashi can't create new card at one point
Above translation is a response to >>746 on being clear. I think >>745 is supporting your current way and also discussing about alternate solutions.
>>754 Direct Translation Arashi is different board to board. The arashi who has been talked often was once a regular arashi. Though residents of the board made too much noise, came to operation board, Jim made a faulty decisions and the result is what it is right now. No need for being sympathetic.

>>768 That might be a spelling error. I have never seen its spelling that is just how I hear it. It is tea named after a female buddha, Kumya. That might be a spelling error as well, and I think she was Chinese so there is probably a character for it.

>>789 It is not a setting, it happens automatically from Pasegueno. p2 is treated like individual poster by the system. I guess there are certain times of the day when it has more use than others. >>791 Thank you for translating.
>>796 名前:POE ★ [sage]: 2009/10/29(木) 10:48:48 ID:??? ---------------訳--------------------------------------- >>792 Roger that. Pasegueno has dealt with p2 posts as a spam restriction As far as you know, how many times has this happened? First time?
Pasegueno has restricted arashi's continuous posts as spam・Restricting p2 as a spam from proxy Will the restriction go after certain period of time? (and if so, how long?) Jim confirms IP of an arashi, or if it's p2, go through the log and point out an account Request Pin-point-Yaki, BBQ (form of deletion, I am translation 2chan deletion wiki but will take time) If you set IP address on Pasegueno and restrict the postin, it'll be better if you post that information (on 2ch.net, there is "not yet? not yet? http://qb6.2ch.net/_403/madakana.cgi)" (Utilizing host's name using all mighty (\), restricts the host that arashi could potentially use and reduce the risk to other users)*
When IP that is banned on Pasegueno tries to post, is error message they get "you are restricted"? If Paseguena does not tell poster about the restriction, the claims to Jim-san does not reach him As long as they get the fact that the error message is from Jim-san, then it should be fine "Pasegueno has sucked in your post. We can change the message to something special and unique like.. "If you are clueless on why, please repost after a while(?)" But for now, we don't know what error is from Pasegueno and what's not
Talking to myself I wonder how pasegueno is working Is it in between or from the back Do I have to purchase for detailed description? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>>797 I don't have anything against p2. It is a problem I think because they are still in beta. They are not sending the proper header. It all comes from the p2 server like it is a proxy. I guess it is a proxy, and they are sending an additional assigned ip for the poster with his p2 id. This however is not in the right format. It should be sent first. Probably it should be as a vpn account where they "dial" into the p2 server, and issue those "ips" to the user at that time. It is not my problem though. I am sure they have many engineers working on it. I can smell the smoke coming from their ears as they gears spin.
>>800 no, many people could recognize it I believe. The word is known as, the name of a car (HONDA), and something related to a (a little old?) cinema.
We've got a massive ban in 2ch. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to provide any translation support for some time, maybe more than a week. Ban list below. http://qb6.2ch.net/_403/madakana.cgi
>>804 I think that comes from the error pages that are currently on the server. Or transfered to another server for it. We could put a link to pasegueno on those pages but, I am not wanting to touch them. Proxy is proxy and if it is not set correctly it gets denied. It is better to move the p2 project to the next level, then to put up with the garbage because it is still beta.
>>809-810 If trip★ is what Jim-san want. A matsuri's behind this ban. not just usual trollhunt. my post above made by kindful ppl @2ch. I still have no posting ability. mankatsuさん、後は頼みました.
Especially because it can be used to go around the regulations. That is why it has been turned off automatically. It will work fine tonight because I set it to allow, but when I wake up it will be set back to normal, and probably there will be many complaints abour arashi and vandalism tomorrow. The regulations are very tight today >>807 . If there is vandalism tonight, probably it is without even checking from p2. Arashi is not vandal they are just trolls without a billygoat to put them in their place. I don't like the regulations sometimes either. I used to use Comcast. It is one of the biggest cable tv companies in the USA. I disliked the whole network being regulated, it made me feel like dirt.
>>841 I can't today... Tomorrow the next typhoon will come here. http://www.jma.go.jp/en/typh/0921.html I have the staff and the ability to do that. It is not something I considered since we already have Maru, and p2 as well. My head is full of ideas on the subject, but they are only ideas. We have not planned or done anything of the sort. I do see the major flaws of the p2 system, and Maru as well. Probably the power will be out tomorrow, so I will think on it more. Hopefully it won't flood again. The cookies turned out well. I wish I could share them with more people. Mostly the kids that trick or treated got them.
>>847 I am just going to look out the window and be online until the power goes out. The typhoon might go south of here. I am watching the tracking, and it looks like it is going to go directly over Cavite, and not Manila.
Hi everyone here. one of my connection has un-banned. At the end I didn't make contact with Jim-san. one reason was I'm yet to find e-mail address for him, another is uncertainity from whether I can serve you well. If people here just ok with me doing some rough translations without a cap, I'll be back on it.
>>851 Thank you for understanding. I can't just give out CAPs. Although you seem very cool. I want to know who they go to from now on. There is a big list of them, and I know less than 1/2. It does have the drawback of not allowing a user to post if he is on a blocked network. That is a separate problem, that I am working on with a lot of people.

"チャンク" does an evil deed during these past 6 years
Even if the チャンク says with the "pretense" critic review that not only the painter but also the resident makes the target, by a bad-mouth, "put it on the high-level thread if you picture a picture"; when "annoy you if picture such a picture", say in being selfish;, anyway, guts are bad; arrogance, selfishness. I am hopeless.
The chunk changes ID and composes by myself and plays myself even if not had anything to do and shows totally one's behavior that a friend is in the target
I forget to change ID sometimes, and self-playing has come out, but the person himself say an excuse when "ID puts it on because it is the same apartment"
Even the measures thread of the チャンク is taken over by a chunk; in a thread for exclusive use of the チャンク
