well, as a Chinese, i really believe the best look for any person is when they smile. That's means life based on love can be much better.
i just can't understand why those nationalists between our two nations would like to hate each other, does they feel cool or funny for hatred?? when someone believe he only can make pleasure from other's pain, his soul was totally died.
History and culture difference can't be the gap, if only we believe love, we can be friend forever.
sorry about my poor english, and i may come there frequently.
>>6 I'll take your word for it. And yes, you are right. Both our government and yours should put more energy and efforts into mutual understanding. I know a poll shows half of the population in your country will march on the street if prime minister Koizumi pays a visit to the shrine, but the other half is very calm and know better than to vandalise Japanese communities in China. And you just showed me a benign attitude.
By the way, I sometimes think I should learn the Chinese language, but I find it really tough. Chinese language has a certain melody I think is difficult to learn. Do you know "ma" is the first word for learners of chinese to study?
To my knowledge, Chinese people love table tennis, and in Japan, sometimes the super league of chinese table tennis is mentioned because Ai Fukuhara has joined a team, where the world best table tennis player is, Wang whatever.. Do you love the sport?
if you feel tough to learn Chinese, just don't be much worried. i will tell you a truth, maybe you can't believe even most Chinese can't speak Mandarin correctly! and some city like Canton and Hongkong , lots of Chinese there can't even understand Mandarin! So even Chinese feel tough to learn Chinese as well~~~(=.=)
Some English speaking people has come visit the English board, but oddly enough, Asian people have been rarely to be seen. I hope S.Korens, Chinese, Taiwanese, and many other Asian people will notice they are welcome here. We can talk in English.
>>14 I see your point. China is one of the biggest countries in the world. If I'm not so mistaken, the whole china's territory is worth Eupope. So no wonder there are lots of dialects in China.
To be truthful, though, I haven't known what Mandarin is. Where in china is the dialect spoken, exactly?
In Japan, those who learn Chinese are studying the Beijin language, I think.
Considering that the Prople's Republic of China is one of the most human-rights-abusing criminal empire existing on the earth today, genuine friendship between Japan and China is still a very long way to gom I must say.
Amnesty International Annual Report 2004: no attempt was made to introduce the fundamental legal and institutional reforms necessary to bring an end to serious human rights violations. Tens of thousands of people continued to be detained or imprisoned in violation of their rights to freedom of expression and association, and were at serious risk of torture or ill-treatment. Thousands of people were sentenced to death or executed.... Restrictions increased on the cultural and religious rights of the mainly Muslim Uighur community in Xinjiang, where thousands of people have been detained or imprisoned for so-called “separatist” or“terrorist” offences. In Tibet and other ethnic Tibetan areas, freedom of expression and religion continued to be severely restricted. China continued to use the international “war against terrorism” as a pretext for cracking down on peaceful dissent.
CNN, Amnesty highlights abuse in Asia: Amnesty International has celebrated its 40th birthday by highlighting human rights abuses in 149 countries, including a rise in intolerance of religious and ethnic minorities in Asia.... In its annual report, Amnesty condemned endemic use of torture in China.... and noted that people are tortured or ill treated by police and security forces in 20 countries in the region.... The organization criticized China for continuing to crack down on religious groups and ethnic minorities. At least 93 followers of the Falun Gong spiritual movement have died in custody and hundreds of Buddhist monks and nuns remain in jail in Tibet by the end of 2000, according to Amnesty. And ethnic Muslim Uighurs, labeled as "separatists" or "terrorists" were executed after secret trials in which they were tortured to confess. Thousands remain in prison, the group said.
Country Reports on Human Rights Practices 2005 China: The government's human rights record remained poor, and the government continued to commit numerous and serious abuses.... The following human rights problems were reported: denial of the right to change the government, physical abuse resulting in deaths in custody... detention of political prisoners... increased restrictions on freedom of speech and the press... restrictions on the freedom of assembly... cultural and religious repression of minorities in Tibetan areas and Muslim areas of Xinjiang... restriction of labor rights... forced labor, including prison labor... restrictions on religious freedom, control of religious groups, and harassment and detention of unregistered religious groups... increased scrutiny, harassment and restrictions on independent domestic and foreign nongovernmental organization (NGO) operations...
CNN, Britain will press China on human rights in Tibet: Britain Foreign Secretary Malcolm Rifkind told the Dalai Lama Wednesday that Britain and its European Union partners will continue to challenge China on human rights in Tibet. Rifkind said Britain shares the exiled Tibetan leader's concern about the threat to Tibet's cultural identity, according to an unnamed Foreign Office spokesman. China invaded Tibet in 1950 and has occupied it ever since. The Dalai Lama, who escaped into exile in India in 1959, called it a "cultural genocide."... "It's clear that the vast majority of the Tibetan population resists Chinese rule and, therefore, the Dalai Lama is the symbol of the struggle of people for independence.".... Observers say whatever the political fallout, Britain does not stand alone. During the Dalai Lama's recent visit to Germany, it, too, condemned China's human rights record in Tibet.
Time, The Price of Protest A nun's tale of arrest and torture: Norzin Wongmo, a tall, serene Tibetan nun says she was desperate. So on the morning of Dec. 9, 1993, Wongmo, then 16, and seven other nuns walked from their Shugseb nunnery to Barkhor, the main temple area in Lhasa, mingled with the crowd of devotees and then started shouting slogans against the Chinese occupation of Tibet. The protest was over in an instant: the ever-vigilant police pounced upon them, tied their arms behind their backs and began dragging them off. As they were taken away, the nuns shouted, "Free Tibet!".... After her arrest, Wongmo was taken to the infamous Gutsa Detention Center for rigorous interrogation.... She says she was kicked, beaten, flogged with a rubber cord (which permanently damaged her left eye) and given electric shocks in her vagina with a cattle prod... Human rights activists say these are common forms of torture in Tibetan prisons. So is aerial suspension, where a prisoner is hung from a ceiling and choked on chili or coal fumes. Some are stripped and left standing in the snow, chased by vicious dogs or chained in cuffs that lacerate the ankles or wrists.''
Well, when a person build a new thread, some people try to put a hard pressure on it. That could happen to any thread at the beginning. So what you can do best is to take a reslute attitude toward them, as long as you have the resolve to continue the thread.
no, "ciwawa" means a porcelain doll, in some area of China we make this kind of doll (as a traditional handicraft), and they are really cute and "kawayii".
"ciwawa" is a nickname of Ai Fukuhara in China, and that means Chinese people really like her and think she is so cute as ciwawa.
A news anchorman told us that Ai Fukuhara has got sort of popular in China because she speaks Chinese. It really surprised me when she spoke it at the press conference. Of course, I didn't understand her Chinese, though.
yeah, any that also the reason why most Chinese can't speak Chinese correctly. and we usually speak dialect in hometown , Most Chinese dialects get a large difference to Mandarin.
>>44 I figured that Mandarin is a chinese but from your information, it seems as if it's completely different from other chinese dialects. What makes so different? Do you need to learn Mandarin?
table tennis is the most common sport in China. But seens I haven't played it for 3 years. and lots of new sports become common gradually, such as GOLF, I heard some Japanese like to travel to Shanghai or Beijin for 2 nights only for play Golf ,and the total spending is still cheeper than play Golf in Japan. I don't know is that ture or not ,but playing Golf and bowling is still expensive for most Chinese.
>>47 I sometimes enjoy table tennis. Though, I haven't put great energy into it. Concerning golfing, I guess the sport takes a lot of place. And it's hard to keep its condition. That needs huge money.
Speaking of sports, do you like NBA? I know Chinese national basketball team is strong in Asia and the big man! I forgot his name, but I think he belongs to a NBA team. A japanese basketball player(guard) once played in Suns, but saddly he was let go last year.
Mandarin is the official language set by the gov. And actual that is only the dialect of Beijing.
Every Chinese schools (no matter in which areas) must teach and use Mandarin by law, so the most young Chinese can speak a nice Mandarin.
But in our father's generation, or even farther before that, lots of school are more likely to use dialect to teach students, and because of war, poverty,or other reasons lots of kid even can get education at that time.
you say China is a big country, right, and i'm sure you knew the history like "三國志“ or "春秋戰國" etc, China was usually to be separated to several countries in history. and even when China was unify, the culture still have a big difference areas. that why the dialects can be so different.
BTW, Mandarin was come from Mongol and Manzhu people. And lots of Chinese dialects in south China are similar to ancient Chinese.
he and WANG ZHIZHI are playing in NBA,and both of them are in PLA soldiers' term in China.
and a famous Japanese cartoon "灌籃高手”(the Chinese name) was very wellcome in China, any lots of Chinese school boy like playing basketball just because of this cartoon.
well,that time to study now.
really nice to talk to you, and i may see you at night!
There he finally found the discription of a misterious curse. It said those who woke up late in the afternoon sometimes change into a monster in spite of themselves.
Hehehehe GOSH! Freakin' Idiot.... i drew a picture of you..its like the best picture i ever drew. It took me like 3 hours to shade your upper lip... yeah... wanna dance?
>>105 Think this way: You accidentally posted that constipation stuff here, but now that you are holding conversation with me, you should take advantage of this rare oppotunity. What do you say?
>>122 There have been English speaking people who use names, but they are gone. I think they couldn't get used to Japanese communities. A bit sad, though.
>>128 I'm so sorry, but your proposal is not acceptable. If you want to talk to people with a certain name, Yahoo message system may be suitable for you. But I say the system is less vital than 2ch.
I have a bit sinking feeling that you, Spence, will be leaving the English board from the way you seem now. As I said, Lonely Man and Sleep Man went away from here. I guess they felt dispared like you do now.
>>198 No matter what will happen, Japan's loss can't be canceled. You should accept the reality.
By the way, do you know there's possibility that Nakata will continue to remain in the national team? He once said this time was the last chance but those concerned made it clear Nakata will wearing the blue uniform.
Well, in my opinion, though, he should never return to the national team.
>>204 Yeah, I know. The problem is, how sweet it is. I have never heard human fart smells good, even if I admit sometimes fart smells of nothing, though.
>>201 Oh, I completely forgot that any world cup was conducted. There are more sports in the world. We best never mention that irritable sport, soccer. It's not worth attention.
Horikita Maki has gotten so popular recently. There's no wonder we can find one fan of hers in here. But he's mad and crazy. He dreams of becoming her boyfriend.
>>247 Don't say that. He's a fan of Rosa. So I guess he's not bad kind. Rather, to my eye, you are less than a piece of shit if you don't have any idols on your mind.
>>257 k i saw website wut kinda idol is she?? how is she famous?? i felt she is an idol for jap otaku...lol im comin to 2ch lots, but im notta geek and i don go to Akihabara so how could i kno her??
>>260 She's just appearing on TV now. On a quiz show. You know what I mean? She's not only for geeks. She's becomeing hotter and hotter. I guess she'll replace Yukorin.
>>304 I did not say ur eng be niggaz but ya be a nigga. u understand, damned dirty nigga?? well, get work and work, nigga. ur value of the existance is born from only working okay?
