So I see from your Nick that you like that there Naruto anime... have you been watching the filler episodes?
Yeah, I've been watching Naruto. I'm really sick of these fillers. They're so boring.
Anyways, I have to be leaving. I have to be at school soon. I'll be back in a 5-6 hours.
I am 41 years old. It's too much childish or young to watch anime.
I just watch it in my free time when I have nothing else better to do. It's better than the crap they have on TV in the states at least.
Naruto is certainly not better than a normal Amerikkan TV show.
There is always something better to do.
Try reading a book.
I wasn't talking about Naruto specifically. If anything, Naruto is one of the poorer shows I watch. I sometimes watch anime when I'm not busy studying or going to classes or partying.
Let's change the topic from an anime for children to Tenkarin, a sexy idol who will grow to a great actress. she is mine.
What is the deal with idols in Japan? Are they something like American celebrities, only with fanboys who rave about them on forums?
Tenkarin will be taking on her sexy body figure just like Lindsay Lohan within a few years.
She may go to Holliwood. I will be her husband and her interpriterter,
*Hollywood

I think I understand a little better. Correct me if I'm wrong: Idols are upstarts who show potential to be famous in the future, so you root them on and hope that the best happens to them. Is that about the jist of it?

Yuck, those Naruto filler episodes...I stopped watching because of them.
Why'd they go and do that anyways? The series was pretty damn good until then.
Well I'm back but I have to do some chores. And yeah, those filler episodes are horrible.
32k-tan ◆teb9WQfPoU :2006/03/14(火) 06:26:08

Aren't the fillers there because the anime was almost catching up with the manga?

That's what I heard, but the last episode I watched was about 6 months ago, and they were doing fillers then.
6 months of fillers so the manga can get ahead?...seems a bit excessive.

i've read that japanese girls are more likely to have sex when in
a foreign country due to that the guys there actually compliment them,
and make them feel beautiful, while as japanese guys often never
compliment females on their looks, and often comment on if they're
not looking perfect. A reaction on a sort of emotional starvation,
in other words.

this however is only what i've read. no idea how accurate this is.
i doubt japanese girls are exceptionally easy to get laid with, though.
I don't really understand what's so great about sex. lol
38k-tan ◆teb9WQfPoU :2006/03/14(火) 07:14:13
>>35
As someone who's only seen the first episode of Inuyasha, I have no idea
what "pulling an Inuyasha" is. Could you please explain? Did they
take an unfortunate turn in the story-telling due to a too hasty decision?
39k-tan ◆teb9WQfPoU :2006/03/14(火) 07:19:08
>>37
"Great" and "great". It's more of a matter of why people have sex.
Some people have sex to feel better about themselves (as an ego boost),
others to show commitment and strengthen the bond in a relationship etc.
Pulling an Inuyasha...Well...The Inuyasha manga is still being written, but the anime is over because the manga wasn't being written fast enough. The anime caught up to the manga so they decided to cut it off before the manga was over.

I wish that were true. I haven't heard anything about it, actually. I think that there are still too many
idiots that actually support him (that 36%). In the American public's view, he hasn't done anything
worthy of impeachment (but, the American public is a bunch of brainless sheep), although a few
Americans who can actually see through the administration's bullshit (like me) would say that
there are plenty of things he should be impeached for, including Afghanistan and Iraq. You could
probably think of more if you live outside of the United States. The media here is shit, and that
makes it very difficult for intelligent Americans (though it may seem like an oxy-moron,lol) to get
the facts straight and see the rest of the world's perspective on what is going on here.

Sadly, as long as Bush's party controls both houses of the legislature,
there is nothing that can really be done. There are new legislative
elections in 2006, so something may change after that, but I dobut it -
both parties take money from the same people and have a similar agenda so
very little true change ever actually happens.

Are there any white people here? I study somewhere overseas and I am thinking of going to uni here.
There is a lot of racism and discrimination in this country. Since I have been here, I have started to seriously hate white people.
Those white people say "I don't like Chinese because they are rude and are behaving so badly"
and "I like the Japanese because they are polite and have respect for other people",
but they cannot tell Chinese and Japanese people apart.
On friday nights, every single time I walk down Main street
they give me the finger or shout the f-word or other epithets at me or my mates.;
however, this does not happen when I am with my white friend.
What I want to ask is "do you guys think caucasians are the best"?
In my opinion, white people do not like yellow people and look down upon them in their minds,
and they cannot get rid of this even thought they like Japanese--well I do not understand this.
What the hell does "I don't like China but I do like Japan" mean? What is the difference between China and Japan?
We are all asian aren't we?
Let me hear your voice, please.
I'm sorry for my poor English and I also understand that there are some white people who are very nice; I am just generalizing.

Even though this post was obviously flamebait, I figured I would fix it up as that is the point of this thread.

In fact, there exist a lot of differences between Chinese and Japanese (even though they are both Asian)
This may be due to the education background.
For Japanese, most of them nowadays received proper education during their younger ages, thats why
they know what is meant by politeness, what should be done and what shouldn't be done.
However, for those Chinese, since majority of them were quite poor when they are teenagers
(of course, they are rich now but they were poor in the past), they were unable to receive proper education

It is understandable that we think Japanese are better than Chinese.
Simply look at the streets in Japan and in China, and you may spot the differences.

I hope my opinion would help you.

As I said, this thread was just a mistake. That's why most people
doesn't take notice of this one. See what I mean?

Hey,listen to me.
I'm the guy who had a little conversation with you around noon.
I'm boring. It's OK.
But you seem to be a type of person who have no sensitivity at all.
To begin with,I want to give you a proverb that you should learn,
which is " so many men ,so many mind".
That means there are so many different way of thinking among us human beings.
I don't know whether this thread was made by mistake or not.
but I'm sure it definitely has the significance of existence.
you should know the fact that some people regard this thread as "chat in English"for beginners
the strong point of this thread is that I dare say,It's "not so busy".
Do you understand what I mean ? probably not.
I'm getting a little bit tired,so Let's call it a day.

to be continued.
Hi,me again.
It's not so easy for us English beginners to make a English sentence immediately
and I'm a kind of person who care a lot about whether the sentece which I've just written
is grammatically correct or not.
When I write something on this thread ,I always keep a dictionary aside.
and I'm also a sort of person who care a lot about others'comments for my postings.
I'm getting a little tired...need a rest for a while.
to be continued.

anyway,as soon as I catch a glimpse of the posting for my comment,
I feel an obligation to him for the kindness that he responded to me.
but I can't write him back right away because of my poor English.

When I write something on "chat in English "thread,I aways have that kind of feelings.

well, honestly speaking,I've noticed that this thread is gradually
getting deserted.
It is so sad of me to take it actually.

I learned this grammatical expression yesterday,so I try to use it today.

If I would continue to talk to myself alone in here, this thread would be no longer
" talk in English".so at least one more person is needed.

As I squeezed my brain so hard to make English sentences,I was very exhausted.
I need a break for a few minutes.

How did you think about World Cup germany 2006?

First, shotting on middle area is more effective than that of the last
because of balls of wc 2006. Second, No upset game have. Slightly upset game is T&T
vs Swaden. I considered T&T was the weakest country. Although a referee gave them
a red card, their difence hadn't broken against Swaden's offence. Finally, games
referees broke is a few, Japan vs Astralia and Spain vs Ukline. The last have too
many games referees broke, in particular, games relaied to South Korea.

What do you think about polygamy?
A Japanese woman got married to a Masai as a second wife.
If Japan adopts polygamy, he can get married to
both Yukorin and Maki chan at the same time.
polygamy? It is only justified when the wife can not get a child or has
some disadvantages which can not be covered by other plus sides she has...
well..but if that comes from the idea of religion, I have nothing to say.
ppl respect their own religion.

opps Makichan and Yukorin. That's a good idea. lol

I surprised this article. Nakata is 29 years old. He has a potential
to play football in Europa. At least he is a best player of Japanese.
I don't know why he retired. But I'm sad for it. His careere have affected
not only of Japanese football and also of Asian football. In particular,
some players in East Asia signed to Europian football club.

It would be a shame not to appreciate his performance any more.
On the other hand, Nakata has been playing poorly these days.
I don't think his performance will live up to expectations in future.
What makes a great player really great is how to make an excellent retreat.
In my opinion, his retirement is overdue.
He should have walked away a bit earlier.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have ben humiliated by Brazil to that extent.
