Keji,

You can't create an account here like most other message board's.

You can however, put on a トリップ, as it's called, to your name.

To do this, use the following format:

NAME#(numerical password)

So, for instance, with my name you would write "Zefah#(1010101010)" without
the quotations. However, most people here do not use this feature and post
anonymously. This might take some getting used to.

Best of luck to you!

So far what I do know about the actual BBS from watching is:

2CH = Two-channel (but i think most people know that); SURE = sureddo (thread)
RESU = resuponsu (response);

an emphasis on the subject noun.

北斗の拳, or as it is known in English, "Fist of the North Star" .
It's a really cool Japanese comic (manga). In the Jump Comics published
edition, there are about 27 comics total (usually around 150 pages or so)
and after the first one, 2-27 all have furigana (hiragana written next to
the kanji to let you know how to read it) in them so it may be good to use
for studying.

I already know about and use Furigana. Furigana is very useful.
Usually if I write something in japanese as a note to myself,
I use it on kanji I forgot how to pronounce.

age/sage can be learned elsewhere (any board like 4chan.org or shii★style).

After installation, run the exe. file

You can also reply to the post just selecting the number you want to reply to.
There are many more convenient functions normal browsers can't offer.
Visually, they are far more easy on the eye than normal ones.

I am done celebrating xmas.
We are doing this on the eve of the 24th here in Germany.
I got a lot of neat presents,
the best one being a biography of Albert Camus.

I read "The Stranger", "The Plague" and "The Myth of Sisyphus"
at the age of 15 or 16 in Japanese translation.
I confess that they were too difficult for me to understand fully,
but they surely inspired me and made me excited intellectually.
I felt as if I were a literary genius myself... of course it turned out that I was not. (w

I miss those days.

Give a hoot, read a book!

Camus sure is grand. It doesn't even matter if you didn't understand
his books completely. As he says himself in the "Myth", a single, first
truth will suffice from which you can then proceed simply by trying
to be consequential.

I read the "Myth" four times now already and I always return to it.
When I first read it, I was pretty 20, I think, and pretty miserable at that time.
Then my father gave it to me from his collection, and it opened a new world to me.

I felt pretty awesome after having read it and I still do whenever I manage
to remember and live the truth it tells.

Thank you for cheering me up.

I've fogotten most of what was written in the "Myth" but I guss when I read it long ago,
I understood, or more precicely, got a vague impression that there is no final goal or untimate truth in life toward which man must proceed,
but only proceeding itself is given to man. I don't know this is even near what he says,
but your words brought back to me this awkward understanding of mine in those days.
And it's this understanding or feeling that has been out of my life for a long, long time.

Well, I think I will take one little step forward instead of missing the past.
