South Korea, or as called Korea Republic, has insisted that the area currently named 'Sea of Japan' should officially renamed as the name ignores the right of the country. To achieve the objective, a NGO called VANK has been taking several actions on the Internet. The group's actions are only based on the Korean side's ideas, which all are never ever based on clear and official evidences. We, as Japanese citizens, are waiting for a official and internationally approved decision that will be made once South Korea comes into the international court (in this case, WTO will come to help the both parties to dispute the international problem). We are really disappointed since the Korean side only open the discussion on the Internet and never comes to the court. Given the political and economic importance of the problem, it is obviously wise that the two parties in concerns come to and discuss it in the international court as the WTO rules set out.
