何を発信するにしても、ネックなのは「英語」でして…。

The manager told me to don't post my opinion about it because we talks ended up without any progress being made toward a settlement.
So, I have stopped posting my opinion since then.
However, users who seems South Korean are still posting their argument on Google Earth.

Liancourt Rocks is called Takeshima in Japan, and is called Dokdo in the South Korea (Republic of Korea).
It is unfair that the manager pardon South Korean's opinion only, even though it is recognized as a territorial issue.
I would like managers to delete all the opinion, and forbid to post about Liancourt Rocks.

グーグルアースの竹島周辺を、ﾁｮﾝが独島プレスマークだらけにしてしまってたので
こちらも1つくらい竹島を置いておくかとコミュニティに書き込みをしたら
管理者らしき人物に「もう散々揉めたから」叱られ、後日、プレスマークが一掃された事があったのですが
書き込み制限自体はかかってないらしく、また独島が大増殖しているのが現状です。

お力添え頂ければ幸いです。

I read a news from South Korea the other day, reporting that your company has accepted the claim from Korea to notate East Sea together with Sea of Japan.
However, such claim is one-sided and there is no justification for it in any way.
Therefore, the notation is a mistake and I would like to ask for a correction.

International Hydrographic Organization(IHO) is still using "Limits of Oceans and Seas(3rd Edition)" after meeting of IHO(2007).
"Sea of Japan" is monotype in "Limits of Oceans and Seas(3rd Edition)".

First, in China, the East China Sea is referred to as "East Sea".
The name "Dong Hai" has already been registered as "East China Sea" in the Limits of Oceans and Seas published by IHO.
Vietnamese name of the South China Sea is Bien Dong, which literally means East Sea. (Bien: Sea, Dong: East)
They also use "East Sea," the English translation of Bien Dong. For example, the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs says, "The
coast stretches more than 3000 km, along side the East Sea of the Pacific Ocean."
Japan is a particular case. The Japanese used to vaguely call the Pacific Ocean as "Tokai", which means East Sea, since it is
located on the east of Japan, but it is no longer in use.
Instead, "Tokai" indicates the Pacific coastal region.
The name "Tokai" is considered to be the abbreviated form of Tokaido, an ancient province of Japan.
The word "East Sea" indicates the other side of the Sea of Japan. That is one of the reasons that the Japanese strongly oppose the
name "East Sea".
A lot of people will get confused if both sides of the nation are called the same name.

Second, The name "East Sea" does not indicate single place. "East Sea" is used in the world.

For example, the name "East Sea" is used not only in East Asia, but in Europe as well. The Baltic Sea is called "East Sea" in
Denmark, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. By contraries the Estonian name for the Baltic Sea means "West Sea".
When an official name for a geographic feature is settled, it is translated into each language.
For instance, the Japanese name for the Red Sea is "Kokai" (Ko: Red, Kai: Sea), and the Sea of Japan is called "Bien Nhat Ban" in
Vietnamese (Bien: Sea, Nhat Ban: Japan).
If "East Sea" becomes official, in every country, people can translate it only into "East Sea" in each language.
Therefore, it is obvious that if the name "East Sea" become official, name conflicts will occur in a lot of languages.

Additionally, the South Korea government presents the notation of 'East sea/Sea of Japan' as an evidence that their claim is
accepted.
While the United Nations is recommending the single notation of 'Sea of Japan' until the issue is solved, your notation of 'East
sea/Sea of Japan' cannot be just the service for South Korean subscribers or neutral position, but is regarded as synonymous with
the assertion that you've accepted South Korean's claim for the issue of the name of the sea.
