Well, I guess I'll be a chicken here and say it wasn't my idea to begin with, but I agree you do have a valid point about it being difficult to do. I will admit that I ultimately can't see all that well from the point of the admins/programmers, but well. I suppose I don't have enough of a grasp of how many so-called "titles in need of fixing" there are in proportion to the complete range of titles. I did think I mentioned something about having a whole group of people doing it at one time but I guess that too is impractical...
I won't say anything more about that suggestion right now because I'm tired, and I'll probably say more stupid things, but I will reply to what I can think of.

No is a two-letter word that can free up many hours a week. Say it immediately, such as "I just don't have time." Avoid giving detailed excuses − the other person may very well believe you can be convinced to give in.

The attitude-types are distinguished by their attitude to the object. The introvert's attitude is an abstracting one; at bottom, as though he had to prevent the object from gaining power over him. The extravert, on the contrary, has a positive relation to the object. The object can never have enough value for him, and its importance must always be increased. The two types are so different and present such a striking contrast that their existence becomes quite obvious even to the layman once it has been pointed. Everyone knows those reserved, inscrutable, rather shy people who form the striking contrast to the open, sociable, jovial, or at least friendly and approachable characters who are on good terms with everybody, but always relate to them in some way and in turn are affected by them.

Two case histories of children are important in the history of behaviorism. In 1921, Watson published the case of "Albert", an 11-months-old child, in whom a fear response to a sudden loud whenever Albert reached for the animal. The response frightened withdrawal soon generalized to a white rabbit, other furry things, and even to a Santa Clause mask. Mary Cover Janes, a graduate student at Columbia was inspired by Watson to undertake a project in which a three-year-old boy , Peter, who was already afraid of animals, was eventually freed of his phobia by a systematic "extinction" procedure and modeling.

It is obvious that, in primitive communities, peasants, left to themselves, would not have parted with the slender surplus upon which the warriors and priests subsisted, but would have either produced less or consumed more. At first, sheer force compelled them to produce and part with the surplus. Gradually, however, it was found possible to induce many of them to accept an ethic according to which it was their duty to work hard, although part of their work went to support others in idleness.

Providers of care who are paid according to the costs they incur -cost-based reimbursement- have little incentive to provide care in a cost-effective manner.
They may be ahead of Europe and even America in technological progress; but they are certainly some way behind in their attitudes to the quality of life and in their understanding of humanity in its broadcast sense. It is my belief, however, that as soon as they ''get their teeth'' into this problem, so to speak, and make all-out efforts to understand the world mindーand to improve upon what they learnーthe Japanese will become the most international minded people on earth.

Our interest in CEO salaries is due only partly to our fascination with persons who earn what most of us would consider to be extravagant salaries. The analysis of CEO compensation also raises a number of important questions in labor economics. In particular, what should be the compensation package of a person who runs the firm, yet does not own it?
Sulka dusted and polished and sang for a year, took to making her own bread, and in the spring of 1965, gave birth to their first child, a daughter. She and Elsie lived together in the sunny California house, so close they could almost have been one. Things were happening in Dick's life, but then, his entire existence had begun to have a remote feel to it, just as her life was becoming increasingly remote from him. They entertained several times a year, they went out to parties from time to time, but these things did not interest Sulka much. Home was where her heart was, the nest.

That moment between them is one I will never forget. It was an emotional reunion, and,Ithink, reconciliation, for I wondered if Bob ever resented his parents for sending him away, when other boys, like his friend Mike, stayed in the village, and if his mother and father ever felt guilty for letting him go. As I looked around me I could see their extreme poverty. I could see how it could lead to what had happened, parents led astray in a futile search for a better life for themselves and their son.

The Silk Road is partly a story of material goods. Many people keep and use 'china' in their homes. How many of them know that 'china' came from China? Over the centuries, thousands of skilled workers turned the rich clay of south China into vases and plates. But the blue and white china we know today has an interesting story behind it. The blue color in the vases and plates originally came from Persia. It was traded back along the road, the color going east and finished plates going west. There are also stories of sports. We might think of polo as a European game. In fact, the game came from the Central Asian game of bushkashi. This is a rough game, in which the players need to be strong, brave and good riders. These abilities were exactly needed for the Silk Road raiders to attack traders and carry off their goods. 訳お願いします

This seven-volume facsimile set comprises firsthand accounts of France in the 1790s. Helen Maria Williams's letters narrate the fall of Robespierre in 1794 and her 1798 book on Switzerland comments sceptically on the necessary coexistence of liberty with peace. Charlotte West who, like Williams, celebrated the fall of the Bastille but was later imprisoned by the republic, records the corruption, paranoia and violence of the Terror both in the provinces and in Paris. ・ All texts are republished in full ・ Selected for their rarity, the texts are drawn from Chawton House's unparalleled collection ・ Most of the texts included have never before been republished ・ Each set in the series includes a substantial general introduction, headnotes, endnotes and a consolidated index in their final volume ・ Each facsimile page is digitally cleaned and enhanced, significantly improving on the quality and legibility of the original よろしくお願いします。
I am working on my collection and as I am financing myself, money is tight. You know that as we age, we go shorter, so maybe women are going taller, but also you may be shrinking too as nature decreed ;) I think Japan is just as advanced as Western cultures, even more. A country which still holds its values and culture dear as it progresses is more civilized than one which is ruled by pure money and capitalism. Those will implode soon. In my country,Nigeria, women are still not taken as seriously as men. But it is changing too especially as women give birth to men, they are respected, but in a different way.maybe faster than Japan as we have many women ministers.

Here, then, can be seen the road Japan must take―not merely to dash ahead on the race-track of technological advance; but to enter into the deep mind of world humanity, understand it thoroughly, then make sincere efforts to rescue the world from its headlong descent into the vortex of inhuman mechanization, moral corruption and disease, mindless terrorism and military self-destruction.

A government investigation panel that looked into the controversy of government-sponsored town meetings released its final report in December. According to the report, the way the government requested participants to say what it wanted them to say caused the public to lose faith in the meetings. Depending on the subject, the report concluded that it was not possible to dismiss the notion that the government tried to “lead public opinion” to spread its policy by staging the meeting. I wish to call attention to the fact that 40 percent of the town meetings in which participants were asked to pose specific questions were about judiciary reform plans. Between December 2004 and March 2006, questions were planted at meetings that took place in Tokyo, Takamatsu, Utsunomiya, Kanazawa, Naha and Miyazaki. In Tokyo, six out of 10 people who spoke at the meetings said exactly what they were told to say beforehand, according to the report. Critics say town meetings are a pretense at holding direct dialogue between the government and citizens and are something that bureaucrats who care about appearances came up with. But such criticisms are off the mark as far as meetings on judiciary reform are concerned.

The farming population, which had declined more or less continuously as a proportion of the employed population between 1850 and 1913, remained at the 1913 level of 35 per cent until 1933. The slow revival of domestic demand during the 1920s reflected the survival of a very large, and relatively poorer, section of the German community in the countryside. Things were not much better among the small shopkeepers and craftsmen. Since they too constituted a significant proportion of the German population, some 13 per cent in 1925, and since this group, like the peasantry, was suffering from relative decline throughout the 1920s, the effect on the growth of aggregate demand in the economy as a whole was clear. The contrast between a low level of economic development among the smaller and marginal producers and the rapid and expensive rationalisation of large-scale industry was a very pronounced one in Weimar Germany, leading, as Bessel has demonstrated, to a significant difference in economic performance within and between the major regions of Germany.
It was settled by means of a negotiated consent decree that not only recognized a legal right to shelter but also established certain qualitative standards that public shelters must meet.

Mark Twain was not only one of America's greatest writers but he had a style very unique. Though his real name was Samuel Clemens, he was much better known by his pen name Mark Twain. In 1857 he took a trip down the Mississippi River on his way to South America. He became very interested in the boats and the Mississippi River. When he reached New Orleans, he decided to learn to become a steamboat pilot instead of continuing his trip. Throughhis experience as a pilot, Mark Twain later wrote many stories of this life including Huckleberry finn-one of his masterpieces. Mark Twain was also a popular speaker because of his sense of humor. He only had to enter a room for people to start laughing. He could speak on any topic and enjoyed talking with people. Later in life, Mark Twain left on a one-year round-the-world adventure, producing wonderful stories that are still read today.

The deterioration of the terms of trade for primary products within Germany meant that farmers could buy fewer maunfactures with what they produced than before the war.

Unexpectedly, the President has a severe stroke and he is not able to move or speak. His politically clever advisors instantly send for Dave and they put him in the President’s place. They desperately want to keep Bill Mitchell's condition a secret from the American public. It’s a great risk but if they can pull it off, Mitchell’s advisors can keep all of the President’s powers for themselves. They assume that Dave who seems so naïve and easygoing will be easy to control. Mitchell’s advisors are certain that they will be able to do whatever they want with the President’s powers. Dave is absolutely convincing in his role and everyone believes that he is the President of the United States. Dave gets carried away with all the excitement and glory. He starts to enjoy acting the part. He loves his new life and he slowly comes to realize that he has a great deal of power. Mitchell’s advisors would be lost and powerless without his help. Will Dave continue to cooperate?
She is competing with graduates of America's best universities and people who come from wealthy families. the downside of the American dream seems to be that some people are allowed to rise just so high but no higher. The upside is that with her faith in the American dream, Tess finds opportunities. She goes to night school while she is working in the daytime. She also keeps up with the business news, and she tries to break out of the “working girl” world by approaching executives with new ideas.
For example, we believe that actors on the screen are really falling in love and we are moved. We forget that after the director yells, “Cut the screen loves may immediately pull away from each other in disgust. America’s Sweethearts presents a funny view of the gap between real life and life in the movies. Gwen Harrison and Eddie Thomas are Hollywood megastars who have found fame and fortune playing loves on the screen. But they have a megaproblem! Gwen and Eddie carried their screen romance into their private lives. Hollywood publicists created an image of the actors as the perfect married couple, America’s sweethearts. However, Gwen broke up with Eddie and she now has a very strange lover. Not good for ticket sales! Unless the film company can get over the scandal, the company will be as dead as Gwen and Eddie’s marriage. To add insult to injury for poor Eddie, Gwen makes it clear that she desperately needed a younger man to fill out her off-screen life. So much for Eddie’s image as the perfect lover!

There are the impressions we may get from couples in public, but what is the ture relationship? Though Japanese married couples may be more reserved in public, they care for their spouses no less than American couples do. In Japan, the husband and wife seem to figure each other out without having to constantly play out their true feelings. In constrast, American couples say they love each other so much, and so the words seem to lose their meaning. "I love you" is spoken so easily and often that one must wonder if the person saying it is really true at heart. This is the contrast in the two societies. While American couples seem loving and happy, there may actually be trouble in the relationship. The image they want to present in public is expressed by their kind actions and words. And in Japan, though the husband may seem rude and the wife quite humble, this is the proper image they want to express. They may be loving and passionate in private. 長いですけどどなたかおねがいします。
Public images and expressions can be misgiving. What the real relationship is between married couples behind closed doors is known only by them. But to be on the safe side an occasional "I love you" probably wouldn't hurt.

In the film “The Bodyguard” Whitney Houston plays Rachel Marron, a character whose life is very similar to Whitney’s real life as a superstar singer. She life is similar to Princess Diana’s The Princess also had a love-hate relationship with fame before her tragic early death in a car accident in Paris. It is common for celebrities to seek fame by making close contact with their fans and the media. But then, if the media and fans get too close, the celebrities resent their lack of privacy. A well-known proverb explains this paradox: “You cannot have your cake and eat it too.” This story isn’t only about the world of celebrities. All of us can understand the problem of wanting something but at the same times, feeling afraid of it. For example, there may be someone in our lives we would like to know better but we are afraid of rejection.
We make a plan to meet that person but then, call it off at the last moment. And like Akiko, we also yearn for protection and freedom at the same time, don’t we! People want to find work that offers security but then, the same people sometimes complain about the lack of freedom in a full-time job.

Rachel risks failure every time she steps on stage and opens her heart to her fans. Frank needs Rachel to save him from his fear of relationship that is good for all of us. Our partners are often very different from us but if we can honestly say that we make each other stronger, we have a good chance of making it. “The Bodyguard” isn’t just a movie about celebrities; it’s a movie about you and me too.

Moreover the investment programmes of the mid-1920s in large-scale industry led not only to an increase in output and improvements in productivity, but to higher levels of technological unemployment throughout the recovery period, which further depressed demand, while having the effect of maintaining under-employment on the land.
Peasants'sons were unable to find jobs in the cities, where large numbers were already unemployed.
Public spending provided one of the only ways out of the problem of the slow growth of demand, unemployment and incipient crisis.
The bulk of building activity was carried out by public authorities, some 47 per cent in 1928.
The construction industry, and the public-works projects initiated in the regions after 1926, helped to maintain business activity and stimulate demand as they were to do later under the Nazis, but at the price of drawing in large foreign loans during the 1925-9 period that left the German economy very vulnerable to shifts in the world economy.
War really is horrible, but unfortunately it seems to be at the root of much of humanity. Strip away all the civilized rules and the like, and all that seems to be left is rage. Ah well, the reason we are a (supposedly) intelligent species is to suppress those baser instincts I suppose. In any case, I highly doubt that wars will cease as long as humans are around. Not a good thought, but it doesn't have to be.

This is a giant can of worms and would require a multiple-page essay to answer (not to mention there really is no solid answer yet) so I'll just say that right now, with DVD sales as they are, the only way to "alleviate" the piracy angle is for fansubbers to either quit completely or simply stop subbing after one episode. That will never happen. Genie's out of the bottle; now we have to come up with a way to work with the current situation.

On account of the factual inability of the human child to take care of itself with regard to all-important functions, communication with others is a matter of life and death for the child. The possibility of being left alone is necessarily the most serious threat to the child's whole existence. よろしくお願いします

Most linguists agree that the custom of giving names is as old as language itself. According to the Bible, God called the first man Adam, which means 'man.' En-lil-ti, the oldest personal name recorded, was inscribed on a Sumerian clay tablet sometime around 3300 B.C. 和訳お願いします。
It is significant that the scenery which the amateur painter finds most attractive as a subject for painting is the scenery most often avoided by the serious professional artist. Very few of the great landscape artists of the past or present have ever chosen to paint naturally dramatic or beautiful subjects. A landscape which is naturally beautiful or otherwise attractive to the human eye leaves the artist with little to do except faithfully copy what he sees before him. This is all very well for the amateur because it means he does not need to compose the picture he paints, rearranging the details of the natural scene. The scenery has already composed itself for him. The serious artist, however, does not want this. He prefers scenery the amateur painter would reject as plain or uninteresting. The professional prefers this type of scenery because of the challenge it offers to his skill as a painter ; to see beauty where it is not easy to see, to create where the natural elements are confused, in short, to make art from nature.

長文ですが訳お願いします… It may be argued that at mid-century the manners of many teenagers have suffered from their mother's and father's disbelief in severe measures; but that their standards are inferior,on the whole,to those of their elders seems to me doubtful indeed. As I think of the people I have actually known over a long period of time,I detect no general decay of the conscience:those I see today do a good many things that their grandparents would have considered improper, but few things that they would have regarded as mean.
I had never seen anyone in a military coffin before. Mark looked so handsome, so mature. the church was full. All Mark's friends were there. Chuck's sister sang. Why did it have to rain on the day of the funeral? It was difficult enough. After the funeral, most of mark's former classmates went to Chuck's house for lunch. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting for me. “We want to show you something, ”his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. “They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.”

No chapter of anyone's life is really over. No span of years can be sealed off from having consequences. And if anyone pretend that some one chapter is so conculsively over, he pays the price of it in the ensuing chapter when the consequences, not acknowledged and acted upon, nonetheless work themselves out.

Looking at 22-years-old Amanda Davis today, you'd never believe that just two years ago she was unable to walk, the victim of a stroke. These days she not only walks but is able to run short distances. On the eve of her 20th birthday, she was driving home from college to visit her parents when she started feeling sick. She pulled over and asked her friends to drive. Then she woke up in a hospital bed. A stroke, which destroys cells in the brain, had paralyzed the entire left side of her body. No one evpected her to walk again. Some time later, doctor at bostpn's Brigham and Women' Hospital drilled two holes in Davis' skull and injected fetal pig cells into her brain. The cells formed connections with her own surviving much of the damage caused by the stroke. Pig-cells transplnts are still in the early stagre of development. But the barriers to cross-species medical procedures are coming down. Despite doubts about the safety and ethics of dollars into reserch, and their technologies are improving. The idea of putting pig parts in people is not a new one. But with the establishment of fetal cell research, the practice has reached a whole new level. 訳お願いします
Today, researchers are testing fetal pig cells as a treatment for many brain illnesses. The results, however, have not always been positive. In one study, researchers treated 10 parlinson's disease sufferers with fetal pig cells, then compared the results with other parkinson's patients who had been given fake operations, in which holes were drilled but no pig cells injected. Almost all the patients in both groups continued to get worse. A few, however, from the groups that received the pig cells, improved dramatically after the operation. The next challenge, says one of the researchers, is to find out what makes only certain people so responsive to the treatment. Though whole-organ transplnts are not yet practical, the technique is improving. When a regular pig organ is transplanted into a person, the immune system destroys it within hours. But in recent years, scientists have created pigs whose cells make the human immune system believe they belong in the body. However, there is one great danger. Many experts worry that cross-species organ transplants could create a new type of disease. Also, others say that too much money is being spent on this type of research when more lives could be saved by putting more effort into improving access to basic health care. 上の続きです。お願いします

The rich and the powerful will always be with us. We can only ask that they recognize that with their privileges come responsibilities. Social conventions, professional associations, moral obligations, the gentleman's code ― all were attempts to civilize the strong. In the past, American society expected these men and women to behave themselves and in some way participate in the public life of the land.
Near East Potomac Park in Washington, D.C., stands a monument with a piece of writing on its base: "To the brave men of the Titanic, who gave their lives that women and children might be saved." It was erected by contributions from 25000 women across the United States.
When leaders of society lived up to their ideals, they were honored. When they did not, it was a matter of deep disappointment. Today, by contrast, we expect very little of those in positions of power, and they rarely disappoint us.

Dear Daughters, Both of you have developed an understanding of what it means to have and be a friend. Nevertheless,it occurred to me that through a lifetime ot friendships, one learns a bit about the process of friendships. Having been greatly blessed in this category of experience,I'd like to contribute a few thoughts of my own.
You must be a friend to have one. Friendship involves give-and-take. The balamce often shifts at times−one being more on the givinf end, at other times more on the receiving end−but it all becomes equal in the long run.
There is an etiquette to friendship:a line that separates genuine interest from intrusion, information-sharing from unwanted advice, attention from nosiness. You can enter into a friend's life only as far as she wishes you to enter, so you must be alert to these perfectly reasonable boundaries if the friendship is to prosper. For example, if you take it upon yourself to tell a friend she's fat, chances are she'll be hurt and offended. If, on the other hand, she confides in you that she has a weight problem and asks your advice, then you might feel freer to speak constructively about the situation.
The influence of the original inhabitants in the British Isles lives on in the wealth of Celtic names, which are rarely used outside the English-speaking world. Some typically Celtic names for men are Angus 'of great virtue,' Brian 'strong,' Duncan 'dark-haired,' and Owen 'highborn.' Women can choose from Colleen 'little maiden,' Gwendolyn 'white browed,' Rowena 'white skirt,' or Guinevere 'fair.' どなたか和訳お願いします。

I knew without looking that the papers were the ones on without looking that the papers were the ones on which I had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. “Thank you so much for doing that,”Mark's mother said. “As you can see, Mark treasured it.” Mark's classmates started to gather around us. Chuck smiled and said, “I still have my list. It's in my desk at home.” “I have mine, too,” Marilyn said. “It's in my diary.” Then Vicki reached into her bag, took a yellowed piece of paper from her wallet and showed it to the group. “I carry this with me at all times,” Vicki said. “I think we all saved our lists.” That's when I finally sat down and cried. I cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.
Primitive man believes in his dreams even more than he does in his own perception, and he relies upon them for guidance in everyday affairs. If a savage dreams that he owns someone else's property and tells the owner, the latter will say to him,"Take it, it is yours!" Not only are people held responsible for what others see them doing in their dreams, but the accused man is ready to accept responsibility for what the other has dreamt he was doing. お願いしします...

Direct Visualization of an Aniline Admolecule and Its Electropolymerization on Au(111) with in Situ Scanning Tunneling Microscope
In situ scanning tunneling microscopy has been used to examine the structure of the aniline adlayer and the conformation of polyaniline molecules produced electrochemically on a Au(111) electrode in 0.1 M sulfuric acid containing 30 mM aniline. As evidenced by the high-resolution STM imaging, a simple method of potential step triggered electropolymerization of aniline molecules. This reaction propagated preferentially in the <121> directions to produce mostly linear polyaniline molecules. Molecular resolution STM yielded the internal structure of polyaniline molecules.

Spread sheets around foundation areas, or in trailers, or cars that are sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle. 3. It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get opened too often. 4. It repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season. 5. By 1929 the American economy was 70 per cent larger than in 1913, the French economy 38 per cent larger, that of Germany only 4 per cent larger. Almost all these factors played some part in the depression that hit Germany at the end of the 1920s. What weight to attach to each factor has been the subject of much recent research and argument. Most explanations depend on first answering the question: when did the depression begin in Germany? The question of why the depression was so severe once it had started is easier, though not much easier, because most commentators have accepted that the answer must lie in the collapse of international trade and liquidity during the 1929-31 period.

Incidentally, if the angle of incidence is large enough, by Fresnel's theorem, the TM polarized wave can get into the GaNcrystal while the TE polarized wave will be reflected on the surface. That is, the TM polarized wave will be influenced by the presence of GaN crystal with different refractive index, which is not the case for the TE polarized wave. よろしくお願いします。
The methods for giving personal names seem to be similar in most languages. Many names describe personal traits or characteristics. Names such as Ann 'grace,' Beulah 'married,' David ' beloved,' Eve 'life,' Joseph 'he shall increase,' and Solomon 'peaceful' come from Hebrew. Latin gives us Martin 'war-like,' Lucy 'light,' Paul 'little,' and Rosa 'rose.' In Greek, Andrew means 'manly,' Margaret 'pearl,' and Phoebe 'moon.' Belle means 'beautiful' in French, while Charles and all its masculine and feminine variations come from a Teutonic adjective meaning 'strong.' 長文ですがどうかお願いします。
