However, in the intensive care unit (ICU), where brain-dead patients are maintained, and in the operating rooms, where their organs are removed, nurses, house officers, and anesthesiologists are often confused and sometimes dismayed by these paradoxical patients. In the intensive care unit, nurses and physicians must “treat” these dead patients quite aggressively in order to maintain them for transplantation. 長文ですが、どうか宜しくお願いします。
Gradually from naming an object we advance step by step until we have traversed the vast distance between our first stammered sylable and the sweep of thought in a line of Shakespeare.
You may wonder if all of these inventions have improved our lives. Actually, progress in technology can have bad effects.
For example, we have to destroy forests in order to produce the paper for the printing press.
The computer and the Internet have brought us into the Information Age. However, now our privacy may be in danger because other people have easy access to information about us.
Progress in medicine has enabled us to live longer, but it is not without its dangers. Accidents in hospitals are reported almost every week.
Not everyone in the world can enjoy the good effects of inventions. Good hospital care and easy access to the Internet are enjoyed in the developed world, while many of the developing countries are falling fuether behind.
We cannot think only about the wonders of technology. What is important is to keep their dangers under control, and to find ways to share these wonders with all the people of our wold.

The second kind of solar oven is a panel cooker. It includes several flat walls,or planels, that directly reflect the sun'slight onto the food. The food is inside a separate container of plastic or glass that traps hear energy. People can build panel cookers quickly and with very few supplies. They do not cost much. In kenya, for example, panel cookers are being manufactured for just 2 dollars. The third kind of solar oven is parabolic cooker. It has rounded walls that aim sunlight directly into the bottom of the oven. Food cooks quickly in paradolic ovens. However, these cookers are hard to make. They must be re-aimed often to follow the sun. Parabolic cookers can also cause burns and eye injuries if they are not used correctly/

Yet, in the next bad may lie a completely conscious patient, who, at her own request, does not want to be resuscitated. A camera-based equivalent of a typical distance-based localization system would be acquiring a detailed threedimensional model of the environment [39]. This 3D model can then be used during localization to generate the expected 2D projections (camera images) at different locations. Instead of being able to internally generate complete camera images, the system could settle for being able to predict what features [49] would be detected at each location. The features in this case make up a sort of sparse 3D map of the environment. However, the 3D model-based approaches regularly depend on auxiliary distance sensors like stereo [8] and trinocular [10] cameras. An alternative to the Cartesian 3D models is to use an appearance-based approach [22]. Appearance-based localization, in its simplest form, involves taking raw snapshots at various locations and storing them along with positioning information. The current camera image can then subsequently be matched against these memorized images to find the most probable current location.

Let me tell you a short story that may graphically explain what your efforts meant to me. "There is a beach in America where star fish are beached every evening by the tide and those who are unable to return to the water die. One evening, a man was seen picking up individual star fish and tossing them back into the water. This man was approached by another person who commented that there were too many of the star fish to save so his attempt was foolish. The first man stated, as throwing back another fish, I know that I can not save them all, but I sure saved this one."

In the three months since the "Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi" anime television series premiered in Japan, it has turned into an international sensation. Interest in the anime has caused Tanigawa Nagaru's original Suzumiya Haruhi novels to sell out in stores throughout Akihabara. The series' catchy ending theme song CD single became an instant bestseller. The ending animation has been parodied with a short video of stop-motion Gundam robot animation. And a multitude of fan drawn parody doujinshi based on the show's characters are now turning up. In the English speaking fan community, the show is the focus of intense interest and adoration.
The show is overtly a lighthearted slice of life drama about the members of a Japanese high school club led by an eccentric president who claims that she wants to experience otherworldly excitement and has no interest in mundane, normal human beings and typical social relationships. The show's quirky humor is conveyed primarily through Haruhi's outrageous behavior and her foil's mundane observations. The anime is also characterized by its impressively fluid animation quality, and its odd characteristic of airing episodes out of chronological sequence. For it has been my lot to be concerned in a work more important and more successful than enything in my own capacity or character could have led me to expect. I have been one of the central group concerned in a great endeavour, the endeavour to pierce,by scientific methods, the world-old,never-penetrated veil. The movement which took overt shape in 1882,with the formation of the Society for Psychical Research, was aided indeed by help from other quarters, but in its essential character was the conception of a few minds, and was piloted through its early dengers by a small group of intimate friends. Withthis endeavour to learn the actual truth as to the destiny of man I have from the very first been identified and,so to say, incorporate. Edmund Gurney worked at the task with more conscientious energy;the Sidgwicks with more unselfish withdom;but no one more unreservedly then myself has staled his all upon that distant and growing hope.
Written In some countries textual material describing sexual activities involving children is legally classified as child pornography while in other countries, for example the United Kingdom, it is not prohibited in itself, but is caught under general laws controlling indecency and obscenity. In yet other countries, most significantly the United States, it is legal; written child pornography is legally protected by the US Constitution as long as it is not judged obscene. As it very difficult to prove obcenity, it is effectively legal. As a result of its general legality in the United States, written child pornography is easily available on the Internet.

The final quirky aspect of the show, the true natures of some of the characters, is a story spoiler which I'll refrain from revealing.
My personal reaction to the show has been mixed. Beyond any debate, the show exhibits impressive animation quality and likeable characters. The art design and coloring are bright and appealing. The opening and ending credits sequences both do an outstanding job of drawing in and holding viewer interest. The show's energetic atmosphere and diverse cast make the series lively and enjoyable to watch. However, in order to maintain the show's mystery, viewers are given very little insight into the motivations and thoughts of the characters. Unusual chronological narrative development in films like Irreversible, Momento, and Pulp Fiction is carefully constructed to heighten tension or give viewers select advance knowledge. However, the Suzumiya Haruhi anime doesn't achieve either of these goals. The gimmick of introducing new characters in medias res in the episode prior to their introduction is amusing after the viewer "gets" the joke, but well into the series, episodes that suddenly jump backward in time seem like a literal narrative step backwards. Once character personalities and relationships have been established it's not merely distracting for the viewer to suddenly go backwards in time; going from well defined characterizations and relationships to superficial ones feels counterproductive. Becoming enlightened about earlier events late in the series creates a momentary epiphany, but also creates confusion because the show fails to illustrate how these early events effect the characters and their relationships later in the story. Because of the show's disjointed narrative structure,
the series lacks an unfolding sense of narrative development. Each episode feels encapsulated, so viewers never get a sense of the characters evolving. We don't see them changing; we just see them changed. Major events which should be intensely dramatic feel isolated and ultimately insignificant because they're not placed in context and their impact on the future is never illustrated. Rather than introduce viewers to characters, then depict the characters encountering major epiphanies and allow viewers to see how the characters react and mature, and allow viewers to empathize with the characters, the show simply drops elements on the viewer in random order. It may be fun to assemble the puzzle pieces, but the processes eliminates any sense of discovery, empathy, and amazement.

On earth the average man's normal ego is largely controlled by the body's desires, though the spirit inspires its life and at times lights up the darkness of the human brain with luminous flashes. Still, the spirit, or what I call the deeper mind, can only faintly impress itself upon the ego. Now, in the Fourth stage the spirit is able to enter, with greater intensity, into the time measurement which I call the soul or ordinary consciousness. This soul becomes sensible of the change through his greatly increased intellectual powers. With that increased awareness there comes greater concentration. The memory of the earth life, in its details, is for the time being lost. As long as the soul dwells in form he is subject to the rhythm of the universe and, therefore, to some form of time. Conceive time and appearance as one symbol.

I'm not looking forward to moving because I absolutely HATE packing and unpacking things, but it will give me a chance to throw out all those little things I've collected over the past many years that need to be thrown away. I'm engaged, but I think that's old news...we still haven't set a date to get married but we will eventually. The truth is we've set many dates and never really gone through with it. I like things as they are now and marriage changes everything.

I live next to park. The park is large and has trees and grass. There is a lake in the park where you can see people enjoying many activities. There are many places to sit and relax. There are many paths that you can walk on, and everywhere you walk you can see flowers. I really enjoy spending time in this park.

In addition to giving voice to stories that, as Pruden says, “others miss,” the Times plays an important role in Washington’s journalistic farm system. The paper has been a springboard for young reporters to jobs at The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, even the Post. Lorraine Woellert, who worked at the Washington Times from 1992 to 1998, says her experience there allowed her to jump directly to her current job at Business Week. “I got a lot of opportunities very quickly. They appreciated and rewarded talent and, frankly, there was a lot of turnover.”
Furthermore, although Suzumiya Haruhi herself stereotypes Itsuki Koizumi as a mysterious transfer student, all of the major characters in the show are stereotypes, to one degree or another. Haruhi is the short tempered, aggressive heroine that we're seen before as Chidori Kaname from Full Metal Panic, Kaoru Kamiya in Rurouni Kenshin, and Tomo Takino from Azumanga Daioh. Kyon is the typical passive male protagonist from slice of life anime. He's similar to characters like Hiroyuki Fujita of To Heart and Kenji Tomosaka from Lamune. Yuki is the robotic introvert in the vein of Nadesico's Ruri Hoshino, Evangelion's Rei Ayanami, and Ninomai Kisaragi from Happy Lesson. Mikuru Asahina is the shy and easily embarrassed klutz, similar to Ai Yori Aoshi's Taeko Minazuki and Mahoromatic's Minawa Ando. The characters are interesting and fun, but not ground breaking.
Any grouping of human beings has its own world:a certain range of knowledge and certain modes of evaluation. Such a worldview is subject to constant modification as time rolles on. Nor can its association with the particular grouping prevent it from being adopted,to a greater or a lesser extent, by members of some other grouping.

Dick believed that the design should be simple so that people could understand what the book was about at a glance. His technique was to first draw an object and then take away the details little by little to reach its essence. The final pictures were drawn with simple lines and painted in vivid and bright colors.

Yet the first widespread studies showing the effects of this drastic shift in parenting didn't appear until the early eighties. Too little, too late. Old age means one thing to a person who is sick or lonely or poor and quite different thing to a healthy older person who has savings and a family to take an interest in him.
With the publication of Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystique and, much more significant, the rise of the self-fulfillment movement and the general disdain for “the system,”divorce became almost a moral and political imperative. After all, marriage and family were just further examples of the “oppressive institutions” that shackled us all. 和訳お願いします

5.In grains alone, we grow enough to feed every person on earth nearly 1 kilogram of grain every day, which is enough to provide them with 3,000 calories per day. 6.But where does all of this grain go, if it doesn't go to people? 7.70% goes to feed beef and dairy cattle. 8.Most of the case, if anything, there is not a shortage of food in the world, but rather an abundance, so much in fact, that lakes of milk and mountains of grain are dumped into the oceans or otherwise destroyed every year. 9.And yet, less than 60% of the world's currently cultivatable land is being utilized. 10.We could produce much more.
I see by this morning's paper that a Japanese textile manufacturer has produced a new material that prevens pollen from sticking to it. this should be a boon to people who suffer from hay fever. The new material has millions of tiny fibers attached to its threads. When pollen comes into contact with the fabric, it clings to these tiny fibers. The pollen can then be easily brushed off, leaving the material 97% pollen-free. おねがいします。
Myth#2: "poor climate is the cause of hunger." We've seen on TV the effects of the terrible droughts and floods that have been blamed for mass starvation in Africa and Asia. However, most experts say that poor climate is not the real cause: it is only the final blow for farmers or others who are living in poverty, just on the edge of survival. The real causes are poverty, war, and unequal land distribution with 80% of the best land being owned by less than 2% of the people. Nature is not to blame - these were man-made disasters.

While divorce is typically a liberating experience for the couple involved―80 percent of the divorced parents in his study reported being happy about their decision―the needs of their kids have been largely ignored. Her 268-page self help book for divorcing couples, for example, devoted only a single, short chapter to the well-being of the children.
Some people did many of the things then that they do now - attend concerts, have parties, go to restaurants, read novels, or play sports - but to a much lesser extent. 和訳お願いします。

My wife gave birth to our first child in April, a beautiful little girl. I can't believe how smitten I am by her, and while I've stopped staring at her, I still get an unbelievable amount of pleasure from her when she smiles at me. Her arrival has slightly complicated our lives, which hasn't been helped by my work being incredibly busy. I've had to do lots of foreign travel over the past couple of months, and although I've enjoyed it, it has meant that I've had little time for anything else.
This gratitude for the gift of life and this joy in living were sung of in what was a hit song several years ago: “I’m Alive!” I’m alive, and the dawn breaks across the sky. I’m alive, and the sun rises up so high, Lost in another world, far away, But what can I say? – I’m alive! I’m alive! Suddenly came the dawn from the night. Suddenly I was born into light! 歌の歌詞の部分だけ和訳お願いします。

I did not dare to try tricks on Grandma, but to my surprise she made me an April Fool by giving me an egg at breakfast which was an empty egg-shell turned upside-down in the egg-cup.
I did not dare to try tricks on Grandma. But (to my surprise) she made me an April Fool. She gave me an egg (at breakfast) [which was an empty egg-shell {(turned upside-down) in the egg-cup}].
Two Wolves One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 "wolves" inside us all.One is Evil.It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I placed the "East Sea" caption next to the caption "Sea of Japan" as a courtesy to the Koreans who keep complaining that they find the term offensive.
You and I and the rest of the world refer to it as the Sea of Japan and we all know what we mean by it, namely the body of water between your two countries.
So, there is no need for further debate. The Koreans will keep calling it "East Sea" and the rest of the world will keep calling it Sea of Japan, regardless of what you and I think or do.
..If all you're going to do is complain and whine later.
I'm dead serious.
For example: "Mars' IV". You seen pics...TONS of them. You've heard complaining...lots of it. And yet, you'll STILL buy them, knowing damn well what you're getting into. You wear them, they'll crease (as if all shoes don't) and then you'll come on here to attempt to get sympathy, only to get shot down like B-52 in WW1.
Just stop it. It's disgusting and pathetic.
All your complaints, whining and petitions will do nothing if you don't take a stand. You can't honestly think JB will change any of it's business practices if you continue to support their products. They won't. You work your off to be able to afford shoes endorsed by the greatest player in the game, and pay homage to him... only to be left with a shoe that could be classified as a B-grade. Really, who's the bigger fool? Who's getting over in this situation?
Personally, only a handful of the shoes bother me... some I haven't purchased because of the quality issues, but it bothers me to see 3/4 of you knowingly throw away your money on a inferior product that you had first hand in knowing before you purchased it.
If you REALLY want to make a change, look within yourself. I'm sure you have the "what can I do about it?" attitude, but EVERYBODY has that attitude... if you took all the people with that attitude and put forth the effort, you could possibly change things. Even if things don't change, now you know who's looking out for your better interest and who cares about you as a consumer.
A high-level international review of research findings on fruit and vegetable consumpution and cancer risk, coordinated by the WHO International Agency for Research on Cancer(IARC), concluded that eating fruit and vegetable may lower the risk of some cancers, particularly cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. IARC estimates that the preventable percentage of cancer due to low fruit and vegetable intake ranges from 5-12% for all cancers, and up to 20-30% for upper gastrointestinal tract cancers worldwide.
But in the not-too-distant future, even this latest application of computers will seem old hat. Ascomputers become smaller and smaller,we will see what is being called "ubiquitous computing," or "ubicomp" for short. Almost everything-from car tires to food labels-will be embedded with microprocessors and sensors. These objects will sense changes in themselves and in the environment around them, and then pass the information on to their owners. For example, the sole of your running shoe couldtell you how much longer you have until your shoe wears out, or an apple in your fruit bowl could let you know when it will go bad. お願いします。
