Please say something freely only in English and leave. This is a monologue thread. So you can talk to yourself. Others don't have to take part in it or give a response.
K is too late. I missed a nice lunch. I wonder why she is always so slow. Slow and steady wins the race. There is some truth in it, but it's hard to be always patient.
In pre-thread named"English Monologue part5",the man who got 1000 first time is too childish. He kept writin' non-sense things from 978 to 1000. 'Cause he had never gotten 1000,he did so. I'm sure he is wankin' now for his first win.
I wonder why she's got better all of a sudden. She's not been good so far. She used to be too loose. All of a sudden she's got tight, so I can't stand it. Again I wanna enjoy it.
He never calls me at all these days. He may be such a person as chooses his friends based on advantages and disadvantages. He thinks of nothing but his own interests.
A new Zaurus has a hard disc, 4 giga bites. I'm tempted to buy it. But is it really useful? Has anyone bought the new Zaurus? It costs about 70000 yen.
I think man of B type cannot in general make good relationships with woman of A type blood. But in a few cases, they are extremely in good relationships.
As far as I know, it is only Japanese people that believe or talk about the close relation between a person and his/her character. When I told my friends from other countries about it, they seemed to enjoy listening to my explanation, though they didn't believe it. It's very interesting as a joke topic to kill time.
Misunderstanding concerning the relationship between a man's character and his blood type tends to arouse prejudice toward people of certain blood types, especially those of type B, who are said to go their own way, or type AB, who are allegedly weirdos.
As a rule I don't in the least have any faith in the blood and character theory. But from my past experience people with AB type blood are little different from others. But it may come from only my false feelings.
It seems to me that people of AB type have special talents. If their IQ is high, they can be a genius, but their IQ is low, they are just strange persons.
I've learned breathing correctly is very important. When we speak Enligh, we have to learn the right way to exhale. But it's very difficult to master the right way to breath out and in. I practiced it,and came near to having hyperventilation.
Damn it!I've overslept again!Alarm was ringin',but it couldn't make itsself heard to my ears. Fuck!I can't stand my sleep-life. Ah,everyone is son of a bitch!
Gimme some lovin'!I'm gonna give educations to educational you. Gimme some poison!T'm gonna show you my masterbation. Now I want sign that prove my existance. 'Cause no love is around me. I heard that the Tain-man,known to many people in Japan as 2-channel user, had been breaken up his relation with Hermes-lady. I can help laughin'.HAHAHAAHA
This is my first post here ^^ I am a native English speaker who was randomly browsing and stumbled upon this thread. Something caught my eye which compelled me to write something. >>38 "loves" is actually correct. In that context, loves refers to loved persons, not the emotion. If I had to find fault in >>35 it would be the usage of "try". "smoking" and "drinking" are present continuous verb conjugations, while "try" is present simple. The correct form in this statement would be "trying". Also, saying "trying not to" instead of "trying to not" is a more common usage. I'm presently trying to learn Japanese, so I understand how difficult it can be to master a language. If we all work hard and help each other out, I think the world will be a better place eh?
Oh I bought too many goods, spending a lot of money again. Where are you from, 48? It's impossbile to master a foreign language. I've given up mastering English. But I want to enjoy speaking or writing English, even if my English is very poor.
> "smoking" and "drinking" are present continuous verb conjugations, while "try" is present simple.
Yes, I changed tenses. Doesn't seem incorrect to me, as that part of the sentence comes after an "and" which leaves open the possibility of a new level of meaning in that sentence. Basically, the actions of smoking, drinking, etc. are things I did right now when I wrote that sentence, while the attempt of not thinking is more of a habit thing. It also is a state of mind of mine, one that doesn't really change.
I feel Americans often use the present continuous. I learned at school that the state verbs cannot used in continuous forms, but I often hear my American friends say "I've been waiting for you". I feel "wait" is not an action verb but a state verb. There may be a difference in feeling what verbs are state verbs and what verbs are action verbs. But it's not so important for me. If I pay attention to these grammatical matters too much, I lose my interest in speaking English.
Four men were found dead inside a Tokyo apartment, apparently in a suicide pact, while a man has died, suspected of contracting hepatitis after eating pork intestine at a barbecue restaurant in Hokkaido. Some can decide the day of their death, but others cannot. Which would be better?
I think Kiyohara is very unlucky. Now he cannot get along with the Giants manager Horiuchi, so he may be kicked out of the team. When he graduated from high school he wanted to join the Giants, but he couldn't. It took many years for him to be a member of the Giants, but it seems to be very difficult for him to stay in the Giants until he retires. He used to be the No. 1 batter in Japan. I feel sad to know that every life has its ups and downs.
>>49 I'm from Canada. English is certainly a difficult language to master, largely because of the way that it developed. With all the exceptions and homographs, it's no wonder it's a big challenge to learn! "Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present." I'm finding Japanese is more straightforward, for the most part. But there is also kanji to tackle...
>>50 > Doesn't seem incorrect to me, as that part of the sentence comes after an "and" > which leaves open the possibility of a new level of meaning in that sentence
Fair enough, but let us look at it piece by piece. At the start of your sentence, you have a series of items seperated by commas. Because you started off with "I am", it essentially imparts that understanding to each of the items. So:
I am smoking a cigarette, I am drinking ice tea, I am listening to WFMU and and I AM try to not think about loves recently lost...
I believe the grammatical term is a "lack of parallel structure". Also, you have two independant clauses, so it's best to seperate the two clauses, as opposed to having one series. To impart the meaning which you stated above, I think it should be:
I am smoking a cigarette, drinking ice tea, and listening to WFMU, and I try to not think about loves recently lost, but rather the loves lost long ago.
Also, for greater impact, you could break that sentence up into 2 sentences, dropping the second "and".
<sarcasm> Grammar is fun isn't it! </sarcasm> Actually I find that with Japanese I always get mixed up with particle usage, and that is often worth a good percentage of the marks on the tests. So I can certainly identify with what 52 said! And yes 53, "wait" is an action verb. Hehe, I wonder if this is what teaching English in Japan is like, because that's something that I'm considering doing for a year or two after I graduate from university. Well, it's incredibly late now, or early. Almost 9am! I've probably become slightly incoherent so it's time to sleep for me ^^
>>56 Oh, are you from Canada? I have quite a few good Canadian friends. I feel that there is a big difference between Americans and Canadians in their way of thinking. Don't you think so? I've been able to make good Canadian friends so quickly, but I couldn't make any American friends, though I lived in the States for many years in the past. But it may be a very special case.
Is "live" an action verb or a state verb? We can see both examples in the many textbooks. He is living in Tokyo now. He has lived in Tokyo for thirty years. I understand the difference of those expressions. Is "live" an action verb or a state verb? We can see both examples in the many textbooks. He is living in Tokyo now. He has lived in Tokyo for thirty years. I understand the difference of those expressions. But does it mean that some verbs have both elements, that is, of action verbs and of state verbs. I just talked to myself, but I would appreciate it if a native English speaker could teach me about this.
Great Hunter, constellation Orion is so beautiful. Orion's Belt reminded me of my childhood, becuase I enjoyed looking at the stars at night when I was a child. The beauty of Orion's Belt and Sirius is completely same as before. So is her inner beauty. I want her to get over the shock.
> I believe the grammatical term is a "lack of parallel structure".
I believe that is more of a term of formalistic and pointless pedantery.
> Because you started off with "I am", it essentially imparts that understanding to each of the items.
Not really, since I did change the tense, signified by the "try".
> Also, you have two independant clauses,
independent
Concerning actions and states: I think the differentiation is merely arbitrary, states are more of an essential kind, while actions are more of a contingent kind.
I don't think any particular verb refers to an essential state or contingent process per se, though. The interpretation is ultimately up to the individual utterance and the context of common usage it appears in and thus changes depending on the perspective.
I'd say that Godot, for instance, isn't waiting. He waits.
>>59 I'd say that the stereotype that Canadians are nicer is more true than one would think. >>65 Yes, you're right about the spelling, but hey, I'm entitled to the occasional typo here and there ^^ Well, in the context of your original statement, when you changed tenses a literal interpretation would construe it as a command. It would imply you were ordering people "try not to think about..." Because you seem to have 2 clauses here, it's as if you have two separate thoughts joined together by "and". Since you are the one doing the thinking, you must re-specify "I" as the subject. Otherwise, either "I am" will be assumed (which is incorrect), or a different meaning is thought than you originally intended. >>60 Regarding actions vs states, that actually became a point of argument in an IRC channel I frequent. The general consensus was that "to live" is an action verb. It's hard to explain why, however, I think it has something to do with transitive vs intransitive usage that produces different types of sentences as you described. Hope this helps to shed some light on the situation. English IS quite confusing. When speaking I generally don't think about this sort of thing, as it comes as naturally as Japanese does to you guys. That's quite fine, until you have to explain it to someone! ^^; Actually, does anyone know of a Japanese-English learning forum or something? Personally, I'd find that helpful for myself, and at the same time I could help others too!
I want to buy and play DQ8, but as you know, I am poor and have no money. So I have got to play UNO alone. Paying UNO alone is somewhat boring. I really want some pretty girls to play UNO together.
Hello,ev'rybody!I am 932 in the thread named "English Monologue part5". Today,I'm gonna tell you about my ex-lover,Keiko. Oneday, our boss ordered us to report what we are most interested in. Keiko decided to report on“Single Mother”. “Single mothers are discriminated not only by the society but by the law.Particular in England, there are many single mothers, but they helps each other. In my opinion, they can bring up their child confidently with the reason. If there is a Single mother in my neighbor,I will help her”,she reported. Now she is married. But she has no child. How dose she take her life?
I heard that the Train-man,known to many people in Japan as 2-channel user, had been breaken up his relation with Hermes-lady. I can't help laughin'. HAHAHAHA!!

As is often the case, good men cannot make a girl friend. Because women are apt to like either very handsome men or a little bad men. Some women loved even Takuma, who killed a lot of innocent children. In 2-chan we can see a thread where a lot of women admire or sympathize with Takuma. Unbelievably a woman proposed to and married Takuma when he was in a prison. And she cried for Takuma when he was executed. I can never understand such a woman's inner feelings. I feel as if they were like aliens from the outer space.
I asked the women over thirty,"Do you like Bae Yong, the famous Korean actor, and all of them said "Yes". But when I asked the women in their early twenties, "Do you like Bae Yong", all of them said, "No." So it seems that Bae Yong is only popular among middle-aged women. But why? Can any woman can answer this?
Women over thrity lost their hope beause they knew the reality. So they want to run away from the reality and enjoy daydreaming. Women in early twenies don't have to enjoy fantasizing, because they still have a bright future.
Sex, money, fame, and peace of no worth ended in a spoiled heaven. The tiny monkeys would hate to perish, but they could not find the value of themselves. Monkeys always want what others want, and robbed others of everything that they could find. An earth is to be collapsed, a monkey is to be killed, and a law is to be violated. So many negative principles are easily found, which implies the simplicity of the value. However, the simplification may not be possible for monkeys, thus they imagine a kind of abstract law declared by a sacred existence. It is always obscure, mysterious, and questionable. Then, monkeys want to say "it depends" without thinking. Contrary, human beings can imagine or find something that can not be defined arbitrarily. The thing might be extended in space and time, then stand against the negative statements. Things must be thought to be worth, after you graduate from kindergarten.
I feel a pity for women. They are like children. They act on instinct or impulse. They think using not their head but womb. But they can make men very patient and strong.
I've been wondering why English threads made by native English spekers are so boring that I lose interest in reading them. One reason may be that my English ability is too low. But I feel they think everything too logically, and love arguments, which makes me very tired. Apart from it, I eat chocholate everyday. I know it's not good for my health. But I cannot stop eating it. How can I stop eating chocholate?
It is when I go to bed that I feel happiest. If possilbe I want to travel around the world after retiring from my work. But it is only a few that I can do of all the things I want to do.
I feel a pity for men. They are acting like they know something, anything, even when they don't know anything at all. They act on principles and reason like an ultima ratio. They think using only their head will reveal secrets to them. But they can be very patient and strong if a woman lets them be.
After all the most important thing as a woman's value is her face. It doesn't mean that she should be beautiful, but it means that she should not be ugly. Not all men don't want to marry a beautiful woman, but no men want to a very ugly woman.
I can not understand why they persist to live in wilderness. People in the wilderness like to waste so much natural resources, but they believe that people in city area are wasting natural resources.
People in wilderness like cold and damp weather, wasting petroleum by using private cars and large heaters, polluting water by emitting pesticides and fertilizers from farmlands, neglecting occasions to meet others, and protecting to be evaluated by others.
My mind is always loose.I neglected my studies again! My mind's eye is watchin' her.Who's "her"? She's my ex-girlfriend.She was the boon to me.And she was all for me. Dreamin' a fleeting dream,I've been becomin' an idler. She did never seem to change her mind. But she did so. My heart has been broken in two. What's goin' on me?Tell me!
Broken hearts, left and right and everywhere I go. They say love is a powerful thing but so is heroin, too. The most powerful thing, however, is denial.
I need one, too. why the hell the system of attraction doesnt work as everybody wants? why do I feel like to running away from somebody who likes me? nobody has to answer me cuz its my monologue....
Lonely nights take my heart away. This is my opportunity to forget her. She made me crazy. One day,I was waitin' for her on the yard. But she hasn't come. My heart has been waitin' for her!! "Let me get along with you,"I asked. But she responded with coolness,"Please find your way." Ah,maybe she has lost her passion for me.....
Why did she do that? It's sure to happen that she couldn't get away with criticism if what she does comes to light. What appealed to her? I guess she wanted to be considered a wonderful poet.
I feel much better. That painkiller works very much. I like women. They cannot give any metal help. I don't want mental help from women. When it comes to mental help, male freinds are much better. But women can give me physical help, physical pleasure. Only women can give me physical help, namely physical pleasure. Male friends cannot do that.
The more you try to get her, the farther the girl tries to go away from you. It's very common in any soceity. It is said that you are a loser if you fall in love with the opposite sex first. In love relationship,it is very rare being strongly attached to each other. In our case it took about three years before we developed into the full romance.
I hate quite a few large dump truck drivers. They often park their car by the side of the main road. So we cannot go ahead. One lane is blocked. They are rude and uneducated, so called Dqn.
Musashi finished second, but K1 is getting less and less enjoyable. With nostalgia I look back on the days when Musashi was beaten in the first game of the tornament. In those days K 1 was very interesting.
The warning of heavy rains and local flooding has been issued in our area. I feel depressed. Tomorrow I can't have a good time. I gotta go to an airport.

Listen to me carefully. A great earthquake will come in comin' future. We must prepar for it. In according to Dr.Otuki,it's gonna come in March or so. Be careful!
You're a maniac. I don't believe it. I'm not gonna believe it. Nobody knows what'll happen in the future. Nobody tells us when a earthquake will hit Japan. If you insist he can, why didn't he do it a month ago? Because he's lying. I don't like it. If you say you believe him, I don't like you, too.

I found a writing in a thread. According to No.281,the situation which is called "Keep" is bad. Follow is her explanation of it.If you wanna be aware the faked-love,please read.
“I am the woman of the third-year student in a high school. I confessed to the day of Valentine last year. He said to me"I do not know about you well. Therefore, I cannot reply." In these days,he says to me "I do not dislike you.I have the favorable impression to you."and "Please wait till my examination is finished."And he has postponed replying. Although he liked his thing as the world changed, when I said honestly, I was tired from waiting for his reply. I think it hard that he is seen have talked with other girls happily. But since I am not her of him, I can say nothing. If the mail from him comes occasionally, I will also forget one hard to be glad then. However, it is left by me again..... In fact, I need to refuse to him. If he will finish taking an examination supposing, as for me, it carries out or in the innermost recesses of the heart, I think that I may be able to associate with him. However, if refused to him, I cannot regain my footing any longer. Therefore, although it thinks that it will say from itself, "It is already good", it cannot step forward too. I thought, "I am already disagreeable."
>>150 If I believe Dr.Otsuki, you dislike me,don't you? But I love you and believe him. To tell the truth,I don't wanna believe him.Am I being faked? OK.I follow you.
>>158 Hi, Anonymous san. I can tell what. 151 just used a pun. "Slept" is translated into Japanese as "寝た"(which is pronounced "neta"). And there's a homonym. "ネタ"(neta) means a story you make up either to amuse someone or decieve them. Get it?
Well, not to change the subject, but how does 4ch go? Are you visiting 4ch? I can't recognize you there. And why don't we try to get the Anonymous thread on 2ch more popular? I think we should devote ourselves to it.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you. "Slept(neta)" is not commonly used on 2ch unlike "orz" and "ry)". I think 151 thought of that. So please don't take care of it any more.
In the past Kyokushin kare was the strongest, I thought. But it turned out that Kyokushin is not so strong as compared with K1 or Pride fighers. After all Masutatsu Oyama was idolized. In any field, the real thing is rare.
Reading a lot of threads in 2-chan I've found that there are so many unhappy people in our society. I thought I'm one of the unhappiest, but the fact is that there are quite a few people who are having a much harder time than I. In a sense anonymous threads are most useful. Because I can give away my true feelings. But if a name or ID is shown, I may have to hide my real intension from time to time. Now I have to confess here. At bottom heart I feel very bad about what I did to her. I swear to turn over a new leaf.
If NETA does not mean "meme", then do 2ch'ers have a word for "meme"?
4-ch does pretty well. We are still small but steadily growing. I am posting there but usually not with any special user name. I like the while concept of anonymous contribution and want to make it popular as much as I can there because western internet users are much too proud of their user names and registered accounts on other message boards. It makes for a pretty dumb attitude sometimes.
Japan is 8 hours ahead of Germany, I think. So, right now it is 10:12 AM here and 6:12 PM in Japan.
Are you posting not in Japan but in Germany? If this kind of thread is helpful to make our world more peaceful by exchaning each other's opinions, it would be so wonderful.
My girlfriend said that she likes to be the object for men to jerk off. Of course she doesn't like real rape but if it is only in imagination, she can be proud of herself as a woman. I was very surprised to hear that. She is after all a bad girl, or her way of thinking is very common among women. Just I want to know that.
A survey has shown that 11 percent of Japanese high school students are infected with chlamydia. The survey was conducted by a research group whose leader is Mr Hirohisa Imai, associate professor at Asahikawa Medical College in Hokkaido. I wonder what percentage of high school girls are virgins. I think women should remain a a virgin at least until they find a man who they think they can really marry.
Natsumi plagiarized somebody else's poems. Of the plagiarized poems, Aiko or Komuro Tetsuya's poems are included. It's easy to be found. She didn't have the feelings that she was doing bad things. But what surprised me more is that somebody put up a comparative lists of Natusmi's poems and the original ones on the Net so quickly . The guy must have too much time to kill.
I rather feel that chatting can be an obstacle to break my concentration from a point of view, while I had really interesting talks with a lady. I choose better chat and clarity rather than good play. It was nice opportunity to pursue online scenarios B-) incredible
Recently taking a nap has been one of my hobbies. Nothing can give me more pleasure than taking a nap. Anyhow I can find no other pleasure than reading 2-chan and taking a nap. It's 4:20. Now is the time to get some sleep. I cannot study hard these days.
I've had erectile dysfunction. A lot of factors, such as lack of sleep, too much hard work, lack of appetite, heavy stress, mental shock and age, must have caused this. . But the main reason would be that E asks for that too much. At first I asked for that much, but after two years she began to ask for that much more than I. I think women, in general, want to sleep with the same man, but men want to sleep with a lot of different women.
I wanna buy the Nintendo DS. It has two liquid displays, a touch-sensitive screen, and a wireless local area network function. I'm wondering if I can read 2-Han with the Nintendo DS.
I envy you because I still enjoy black and white displayed Game boy due to my jobless poorness. I want you to give me your Nintendo DS and some its softs
Godzilla is the longest-running films series in Japanese history. I don't want it to end in "Final Wars". But why has it gained popularity for such a long time?
I want to find a woman I can really love. There are no women I don't like, but there are no women I really like. In a sense I like ever- body. Am I androgynous?
I'm watching a TV program "No. 1 host". There are so many women who are feeling very lonely. Why do they want pseudo kindness or love? It's so sad. After all men'slooks are the most important for even women.

The Toyota Corolla is awesome. My dad bought one decades ago and it's still running as good as ever. Sure, it isn't very pretty. But it's robust and long-living!

Don't cover your mouth when you cough. I just want to get infected so as to get days off. Just a mild sick is better, because I don't want to feel nausious or vomit.
A large amount of study stuff is killing me. I need to learn a lot by heart by saturday. And I have to go on. Are you studying something in addition to English, by the way?
I wonder why she love me so much and so long. Does it come from her maternal instinct? I may bring out her motherly instinct. Or I don't know why, but I may be a dream bait. As for me, I like beautiful behind.
You know what pisses me off? I try to answer a lot of the questions people on this message board have... ...but I always run into expressions I don't know how to write in Japanese. So then I sit there for, like, 10 minutes trying to figure out how to say something in Japanese... ...and ultimately fail. God damn. I really need to improve my Japanese.
Er, trust me, Ed isn't Japanese. I was talking to the guy just the other day in the shop he works at... in Toronto, Canada. From time to time, our discussion would be interupted when he had to take orders and talk to customers... IN CHINESE. So yeah, Ed isn't Japanese.
As for me, I'm Irish, that I am. Well, at least Irish blood. Really, I'm a Canadian who's interested in Asian languages for linguistic purposes.
Nah, fuck hockey. I mean, yeah, it's fun to play (and it's snowing in Toronto now, win), but it's not that great to watch. Football is better, but I'm not a huge fan of that either. I mean, yeah, fun to play, but not great to watch. Baseball is just lame all together. Boxing is fantastic, though I can't say I've done it. I mean, I'm a university student, I don't want my chance of getting into graduate school beaten out of me...
Hmm. How about air hockey? I had my ass handed to me by this girl a few weeks ago in air hockey. Jeez, she was good. I beat everyone else, but when she came, WHAM. I lost almost instantly. Ah, yes, Air Hockey is awesome, though technically it's about as much of a sport as Tetris or Pinball is.
>>266 Speaking of sports, do you guys know some of the baseball players who belong to Asia University, which is famous for baseball, were arrested for molester today?
Eh, you can't use "molester" like that. It'd be something like: "Speaking of sports, did you guys know that some of the baseball players who belong to Asia University, a school famous for baseball, were arrested for molestation today?" To which I would respond: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Nah, seriously, that's funny. I dunno, did you hear about the Pistons attack fans recently? The whole team just got into a fight (Basketball team, that is). Pretty funny.
Thank you for looking up the word! And, yes, I know about the fight. If I remember correctly, five of them were banned this year, right? What happened next?
Not sure if it was five. I didn't really follow what happened next, just watched a video of it happening and was pretty amused. I know one or two guys did get suspected though, in addition to a few fans being banned from the stadiums.
Hey, how many years have you been studying English?
Nope. Probably around 50-70% though. Just a guess. It's different in college. Oh man, is it ever different in college. And, uh, not really. Virginity doesn't matter too much... And sorry, my Japanese skills are more or less non-existent.
I made sex with my girl friend tonight. I couldn't make her cum tonight as well, while I ejaculated. My lower back is getting weak. I feel very sorry for her. But it's so hard to move the lower back so quickly these days.
She said to me "It's OK. You must be tired". She never gets angry, but that's why I have a pain in my heart. I want to strengthen my body. Oh I'll start yoga.
>>277 I'm a native English speaker. I've taken Japanese in high school, but I'm not that great at it. Taking Chinese now though. This 「名無し」 stuff makes things things somewhat confusing, don't you think?
Oh yeah. >>276 Do you mean "Mother-in-Law"? If so..
So many men, so many minds. It's also important for us to satisfy our desires. If we always repress our desires, we feel frustrated. Her low-cut dress aroused me yesterday, but. Anyhow we should try to live balanced life in the real world. For that, imagination is very useful and inexpensive.
In Canada and America, we're free to study whatever language we want. However, French is encouraged over here, which is bloody annoying. I dunno, I'm not really a fan of French, myself, though all languages are interesting in their own way.
But yeah, to be able to study Chinese and Japanese despite being someone of Irish decent (i.e. Caucasian) freely is pretty cool. Mind you, most people here only study English in middle school (possibly Spanish and French too), and then French or Spanish in high school. Our Middle school is only two years though, and our high school is four years. Then undergraduate college for four years (I'm in my first year at the University of Toronto. It's like the Canadian version of Tokyo University, you could say), and whatever after that. (be it master degree, Ph.D., or going to the work force.
I'm hoping to take a more advanced Japanese class next year (I'm not currently studying Japanese, instead I've choosen to study Chinese), while studying Mandarin at the same time. Good stuff, good stuff.
Do you know if Japan has good Linguistics programs? (That is, the study of stuff like phonetics, semantics, phonology, morphology, etc., not just studying languages)
I think we have many, but I can't recommend any, because I'm not a teacher who teaches Japanese. But I think the best way to learn a foreign language is ,after all, to go to the country where the language is spoken. If you want to improve your Japanese skills, you should visit Japan and stay here for a while, for example, during the summer vacation. Then you can ask some Japanese teachers to recommend good Japanese textbooks to you. I'm going to go to a language school in the US during the summer vacation next year. Because my English is too bad, and I feel I cannot improve my poor English any more if I don't go to an English-speaking country. I'm very sleepy, now I'm gonna go to bed.
..LIKE AND DISLIKE............................................................
I generally listen to whom making an excuse, however it is hard for me to treat them, boys and girls have impolite thinking and messaging kind of "shit, sex, fuck, ass" in my respectful manner. I dislike those young networks and bogus human relation in a drag sales style, as you may be mostly.
From view for sociality, I feel like and love in scientific pursuit. I feel cozy in safer internet and ration station.。o○ that may be a reason I put my small words @2ch.
Finally, I don't why you steal my life and killed my family experiences.
I found that text books, grammar books and courses are generally not a very good way to learn a language. It's best to stick to actual examples of used language. For instance, I learned English mostly through computer games, comic strips like Calvin & Hobbes (armed with only a dictionary. understanding the gag of a strip is a big accomplishment) and TV (I loved to watch Jay Leno & Conan O'Brian).
Oh, I made a mistake. I gotta return the video capture to the used store this Saturday, because the sound doesn't come out. It's only mpeg 1 capture. The CPU of my notebook PC is celeron 500. It's too weak to cature videos in the form of Mpeg 2. But I have to give up.
>>293 That's pretty damn impressive, especially being able to understand Calvin and Hobbes (considering there are a fair number of topical jokes and gags). That'd be like a Westerner like me getting all the gags in something like Doraemon or that new thing.. Yotsuba? Meh. I forget the name of it.
Anyway, try watching Saturday Night Live, Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park if you like American TV (It's damn good, so long as you avoid the Reality Shows and Talk Shows). South Park is personally my favorite, but there's plenty of other good ones. There's this show that I'm really into that only started airing recently, called "Lost." A friend of mine in my dorm told me about it, and ever since, I've been hooked. ttp://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/ <-- Here's the website.
Stop using the Internet and go to bed now. (I know but I can't.) Your eyes are tired and you're really sleepy. (But...) The Internet is not that interesting to you today. (I feel like I have to find something interesting before going to bed.) What for? (I don't know.)
Why I am a lonely jobless cherry? I can't put up with this loneliness. I fed up with wanking on eve I really want a girlfriend by EVE. there are a few weeks by eve
I enjoy listening to Surfer NETWORK Player. My favorite radion staion is WPTT(Pittsburgh). Andrew, do you know WPTT? But when I was listening to WPTT about two months ago, my pc was infected with computer viruses. Now I use a famous ani-virus soft,"Virus Buster".
>>306 If you can get a girlfriend, she wouldn't allow you to have sex with her. Give up on your life and go to Fuji jamgle with me! I've been waitin' for you in "Suicide BBS".
There are only two weeks left until New Year's Day. I wish I could have a tranquil life next year. This year I had too much hard time. People around me gave me so hard a time. Especially my brother hoaxed me into --. I don't wanna be a dupe.
Canis Major is so beautiful that I can forget gall and wormwood. I wonder how much handsel I can get on New Year's Day. I'm looking forward to New Year's vacation.
>>312 No idea. A friend of mine posted this thread in an English chatroom, seemed amusing. We laughed and mocked the poorly written English, and then proceeded to write our own extremely poorly written Japanese. The best of both worlds, eh? Seriously though, some of the English phrases thought up by the Japanese are found to be EXTREMELY amusing over here in Canada and the US. For example, ttp://engrish.com and 「もえたん:英単語集」. Your cartoons tend to be amusing too, but American cartoons are better.
>>314 >>315 So the Japanese call Christmas break New Year's Vacation, eh? Don't you have something called "Golden Week" around this time? I recall my Japanese teacher in high school being extremely depressed when she had to come to work during Golden Week.
Andrew, isn't Golden Week, like, in May? And I thought they just called it 冬休み. Although I suppose that's just for people in school. Working men probably only do get a few days off for New Year's. And I'd wager that the majority of the people in here are a good bit older than the two of us, man.
And see? They don't think classes are a good way to go. So FUCK you, Andrew, and FUCK your high school AND university Japanese courses! Manga education fo' life, yo!
Anyway. Graphics exam went okay. I'm going to work now. The black guy might bring the Xbox again, so swing by the store if you want to play some Third Strike. I'm not lugging my stick over there, though.
>>317 Ah, fuck you, bitch. You'll just rape me with Ryuu or Ken or whoever again. Beat on poor Dudly. So mean. I have an exam tomorrow, but I might come by sometime. Watching the Princess Bride now. Heh, I must say, the Blonde Chick is damn hot.
Anyway, how the hell am I supposed to know when Golden Week is? I took Japanese a while ago, can't really remember when she was all depressed about it. Anyway, I don't really know anything about Japan, they're just another, albeit really bizarre, country. Their language is interesting as hell though.
Anyway, get on IRC in a bit, tell me if you have the Xbox. I might stop by for a bit.
Lonely nights take my heart away. I'm losin' you. It was the night that we have sex for the first time. We talked a lot. And we laugh much. But you've gone. I've been waitin' for the sea. You're no longer there. The sea is.
How come people here talking about mostly sexual stories? ok..I feel my husband's cum to be so spicy. Gimme your cocks too. many many cocks. loads of cum. Every one of them has their own cum flavor.
>>278 How poor Japanese. Please write more. Your Japanese messages make me laugh so much.. It's very, very strange, funny. But laughing is good for my health.
>>323 You must be a cunt hound. Cunt itch is hard to endure. First do a lot of stretching to make your body flexible. Then lick your cunt by yourself. You can fulfil your sexual urge. What is more, making your body flexible would be good for your health. Now I have to study English exams for tomorrow. I hate not only exams but my high school.
I know all of those shows, some I watch dubbed on my TV (it's funny when you get to the point where you can tell when translators have done a mistake), some I download from the internet and watch on my PC. But TV shows didn't actually improve my actual understanding of English as much as comics and other written stuff did (currently I am reading Moby Dick, again armed with a dictionary), but helped me more in preparing myself for actual conversation with native speakers - which is almost the last step in "growing into" a foreign language. The last step would be talking with native speakers in their own country, in their linguistic context. At least that is how it is in my understanding.
this thread has become more of an English Dialogue thread, don't you all think? Hah!
Perhaps it would be a good idea to start a new thread, some sort of English Dialogue thread? Or perhaps the joke of these Monologue threads is that they all eventually become Dialogue threads. Ah, I do not understand 2ch (yet).
Sex is very important. Even if you repress sexual desires, it will cause another problem. So it's important to satisfy your sexual drives. For this making sex is important. But you cannot make sex if you cannot make a girlfriend (or a boyfriend). I thought about these things, and have found that masturbation is a wonderful art, which makes us equal. Well, I'll study again after killing time for a while.
Women or grown-ups like saying it in a roundabout way. But I'm still sixtenn. It's not my nature to beat around the bush, so let me get right to it. lol!
I watched Japanese old movies. The actresses were like Korean actresses who are very popular now. There was something purer around them. The present Korea may be similar to Japan of thirty years ago. That's why middle-aged women like "Winter Sonata" so much.
It would be true to say that studying English watching DVDs is quite useful. But it needs a lot of energy and patience. I think there are very few who can continue to study English in this way. The idealistic learning method is not always good for everyone. After all we have to find the way of studying that we can continue, even if it's not scientifically the best way. I just want to pace myself. It matters a lot whether I feel comfortable doing it or not.
It's okay, we laugh at your English all the time. But then again, there are more funny Japanese people who write bad English than there are funny gaijin who write funny Japanese. Which also makes us stand out even more. Damn.
Maybe we should make a "アホ外人が日本語を書くスレ" or something. :p
Wow, you're, like, a Japanese version of me, or something. I learned most of my Japanese by doing the same things you do, except in reverse. Shounen manga with furigana is a wonderful learning tool.
I don't know how it is with English-to-Japanese dubs, but most Japanese-to-English dubs change the content of the script: a) for content (censoring), b) to make the mouth movement more closely match the spoken lines, and c) to change cultural jokes the target audience may not understand to something else.
Of course, we also don't have anything close to the size of the Japanese seiyuu industry, so generally speaking the voice acting sucks, too.
Sometimes the subtitle tracks are closer to the original dialogue for Japanese-to-English translations. Have you ever tried listening to a dubbed movie or TV show while leaving the subtitles on? Especially when it comes to American releases of Japanese anime, sometimes you will find the original unedited translation on the subtitle track. When the subtitle track is just a striaght transcription of the dialogue in the dub, we call them "dubtitles".
>>336 Ed, I'm wondering whether you have erectile dysfunction. Just I guessed it from your handle name. In Japan we use ED for the persons who are unable to get erect.
DNA tests have shown that the remains provided by North Korea are not those of Mr Matsuki, who was abducted to the country 24 years ago. North Korea always tells lies to Japan. We can never trust North Korea. The ordinal people in North Korea may be nice, but the politicians there must be untrustworthy.
>>336 Ed, I don't need an entire nation mocking my fucking awful Japanese.
And 30$ (of money that does not exist, as I'm more or less broke after buying Christmas presents/birthday presents, and I still need to get that 200gb drive from you) says that most of the people writing about sex in this thread don't know what a real woman is like.
>>339 Getting up and getting off are two different things. The latter of which you (hopefully) have some control over. I'm sure you guys aren't barbarians(野蛮人)who can't control themselves, right?
I'm in good health and good shape, looking for my true love. She must be honest with a good heart. But as far as I know, many Japanese women at bottom like barbarians better than gentlemen.
>>344 It's the same for me, albeit I'm using 2ch for semi-educational purposes too. Though frankly, the internet is good for stress in general. Do the Japanese use IRC at all? That's usually a good way to go about it. Failing online, few things beat hanging out with some friends and getting your ass kicked in Street Fighter or King of Fighter.
A 2ch IRC network... Hah. I'm guessing they ban foreign IPs. Bah, my Japanese isn't good enough to hold a real time text conversation anyway. I can barely get away with spoken conversatiosn, but written conversations would have kanji in them, and despite my learning Chinese, my skill in Japanese kanji hasn't improved all that much.
Though I'm guessing not everyone is "NaNashi" on IRC, right?
What about things like MSN, AIM, ICQ, etc? I know MSN has a Japanese version (and is at least used, if not popular), but what about the other ones?
i have nothing interesting to share with you guys shit who can't see what is going on in the world where is full of shit that stink too much as if almost everyone could throw up when they smell it
>>349 Heh, not at all. In fact, most people over here know next to nothing about Japan or the Japanese. You guys are just another group of of tourists in our cities, I guess. Well, not for all of us, but yeah. Anyway, I learned about 2ch last year when I was studying the Japanese language. And then Ed started posting here, and I followed suit.
>>351 You were studying Japanese last year? We Japanese all welcome all foreign peopele, learning Japanese or interested in Japanese culture or so. Welcome to Japan No.1 sacred 2ch for Andrew 'fucking' L'ike B'astard!
>>353 Hah, bitch. Trust me, that's not what the "LB" means. To be honest, I couldn't care less about Japanese culture, European/Western history and culture is more interesting, and more fulfilling for me. Language wise though, Japanese is a damn interesting language for study and research. After all, I'm studying linguistics, and from an academic perspective, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Cantonese, etc. are all quite interesting. Especially, for me, the writing system the Japanese took from the Chinese. Looking at how the Japanese simplified the writing system, for example, and how the Chinese simplified it. Studying the history, studying the writing, researching the grammar, trying to work backwards and figure out if Japanese and Chinese sounded the same as they do now (They don't, trust me), that kind of thing.
I'm a lot more honest about my reasons for learning Japanese. I want to play Japanese video games and read Japanese manga. None of that "I love the language and nothing else" bullshit Andrew likes to delude himself with.
>>356 Well, you see, Andrew took Japanese classes while he was in high school. The Japanese classes offered in Canada are honestly not that good in general, though, and most students who take those courses but are not very serious about it will come out in the end knowing all the hiragana and katakana... and not much else apart from that. At least that's what I've heard, anyway. Go ask Andrew about them if you want, since I've never taken them.
As for me, I had too much time on my hands eight months ago and picked up some shounen manga in one hand (いちご100%) and a Japanese-to-English dictionary (Kodansha's ふりがな和英辞典) in the other. Oh, and a kana chart laying on the desk in front of me... and just sort of took it from there. Before I started at that point, I could read about 5-8 hiragana. And no, I'm not making this up.
What can I say, it's been an interesting 8 months.
I will now return to the English-to-Japanese translation thread to write some more poorly-written Japanese!
I still can't figure out why NEET people get this popular in Japan. It seems almost all girls are falling in love with men who don't have a job or are not educated.
>>357 Ele knows about this? Fuck. I was wondering what the hell that "Andoryaa" shit was... It's just that all this "Nameless" shit that is going on here is driving me nuts. Why can't people be honest about their identities? (Though I realize that 2ch works differently than English forums...)
Anyway, I'm not deluding myself, really. And yeah, the Japanese classes over here are bloody awful. You Japanese have your "otaku," we have our own breed over here, except they tend to be very large, very ugly white women. Anyway, it's mostly people like that who take Japanese classes in the United States and Canada.
And Ed, I know that it wasn't a dictionary in your other hand when you were reading Ichigo 100% (or as I'm coming to know it,草苺100%).
>>359 NEET? What the hell is NEET? Anyway, I don't know about Japan, but it's not that difficult to get women over here, ESPECIALLY if you have an education/are getting one. Most of the chicks that go for the dumb guys aren't that good looking to begin with, or they dress themselves up to be like Valley Girls (日本語で「ギャル子」。。。たぶん), or worse, beach whores (Kinda like your Ganguro girls or whatever the hell you call them).
Anyway, Ed, my exams end today. Are you working tomorrow? Maybe you can bring your PS2, and I can kick your ass in Guilty Gear.
Andrew, Ed, Anonymous, you guys don't know oden, do you? Oden is Japanese hotchpotch boiled in kelp-based broth seasoned with soy sauce. We boil radish, eggs, fish sausage tofu, and so on in a pan for a long time. Today I met an Australian who said that she studied Japanese about eight years. But she didn't know oden.
I like octopus dumplings, Japanese-style pizzas. I wanna take part in a rice cake making festival. I like pounding rice. The second exporting country. What the hell are these?
Uh, what, you want to exchange e-mails with us? Only if you don't mind setting yourself up for me bugging you about lots of random Japanese questions. :)
Okay, Andrew, the exam went okay. The Xbox will be present at the store. Prepare to have scrubby Rock or Terry or whatever swiftly raped by my Hotaru, whore!
>>324 You wrote "The Internet is not that interesting to you today." But I could meet you on the Internet the day. It's the most interesting thing to me. Thus, the day,The Internet was interesting to me.
You are right. Ed, don't get nuts in a bunch. I just practiced. Those are similar expressions, right? 1. Don't knock off the bullshit. 2. Don't shoot the shit. 3. Don't talk garbage. 4. Don't talk nonsense.
Learning slangs is a lot of fun. I like this thread. I can try to use slangs freely without worrying about anything. Because this is a monologue thread.
Five Asia University students were arrested because they molested a woman on the JR Chuo Line train. All of them are members of the university baseball team. A lot of college students in Japan lack a sense of morality today. Because they have been brought up so indulgently that they can't control themselves well. In addition Japanese young girls like wearing a short skirt. They are like whores. It seems that they are always giving men the come-on. So it's very hard for men to fight against temptation. Personally I love looking at girls who wear a short skirt. Oy my! But when it comes to marriage, I prefer a modest and reserved woman. Modesty is a virtue Japanese should value more today.
>>391 I dunno man, it's not like I'm attracted to hyper-sexualized girls, but I really like it when a girl is outgoing and energetic. A girl who isn't independant and who doesn't think for herself, heh, no thanks.
>>388 It just makes it difficult to hold a conversation, since you don't know who anyone is. So if, for example, one person called himself "Tarou" and the other called himself "Tato," and yet another called himself "David," then things would get marginally less confusing.
But then, I'm more accustom to English forums, where you have to register as a specific person, and you always post under that name.
I prefer dependent girls to independent girls. Indenpendent girls usually hate to lose, and too strong-minded. Such girls make me tired. I like taking great care of dependent girls. They are so cute. It's no wonder I'm so popular among girls.
# Registration keeps out good posters. Imagine someone with an involving job related to your forum comes across it. This person is an expert in her field, and therefore would be a great source of knowledge for your forum; but if a registration, complete with e-mail and password, is necessary before posting, she might just give up on posting and do something more important. People with lives will tend to ignore forums with a registration process.
# Registration lets in bad posters. On the other hand, people with no lives will thrive on your forum. Children and Internet addicts tend to have free time to go register an account and check their e-mail for the confirmation message. They will generally make your forum a waste of bandwidth.
# Registration attracts trolls. If someone is interested in destroying a forum, a registration process only adds to the excitement of a challenge. One might argue that a lack of registration will just let "anyone" post, but in reality anyone can post on old-type forum software; registration is merely a useless hassle.
(continued) # Old-type software wastes bandwidth and removes the focus from content. On old-type forum software such as vBulletin, you have to click through multiple displays -- first the forum front page, then the link to the thread itself-- before you can read the content of a thread. This focus on hierarchy hides the actual posts behind their titles, and therefore promotes idle browsing rather than in-depth reading. On 2ch, the first post and the latest replies are presented to you directly on the front page, and the forums are divided up on a sidebar, submerging you directly in the forum without having to click through all these levels. Old-type software, of course, also wastes precious bandwidth with hundreds of tables and useless directory pages.
# Anonymity is a virtue. On the Internet, privacy concerns are always on the reader's mind. Why make your users worry? Let them be as anonymous as they want.
# Anonymity counters vanity. On a forum where registration is required, or even where people give themselves names, a clique is developed of the elite users, and posts deal as much with who you are as what you are posting. On an anonymous forum, if you can't tell who posts what, logic will overrule vanity.
# Most old-type software, such as vBulletin and Invision, costs money to use. That kind of sucks.
>>394 Ed, you said you are leaving for work, but you can swing by in an hour. What is your job? I'm a college student, so I'll have no class tomorrow. I'm killing time now.
>>396 Are you a veg? I know that you are always vegging out on this board.
>>400 Ed goes to a university that is situated near mine. I'm just going to go over to the comp store he works at to play video games in a bit.
>>398-399 All good arguments, but yeah, identity on forums is sort of what I'm used to. Maybe some kind of unique identifier that's simply a string derived from the user's IP address? Maybe? Well, no, since this forum is open source, that wouldn't really hide identity too well, plus there are only so many ISPs in Japan, I'm sure, so... Bah!
Anyway, Ed, I'll come over in a bit, maybe thirty minutes or something.
> Maybe some kind of unique identifier that's simply a string derived from the user's IP address? Maybe?
Some boards on 2ch have those. Some don't. The strings are crypted, so they cannot be easily reverse-engineered, the open source argument is kinda invalid in that regard.
By the by, does anybody have a copy of the 0ch script for download?
>>402 Surprisingly enough you understand Japanese way of thinking very well. Westerners are in general showy and very assertive, they like to make others know their name. But Japanese like being anonymous because they are reserved.?? In a Japanese society, what they say are often different from what they actually think. They often have to say what they don't mean depending on the situations. Anonymity make it easy for them to speak from their heart.
Hmm, I generally just say what I think. Unless of course it would be bad for me to do so. I mean, sometimes if you, for example, tell off you boss, you get fired, even if the guy is being an idiot. So, if you want to keep your job, you just be quiet and agree. But mostly, I think Westerners like to say what we think, let our opinions be known, and we like to keep things in the open and honest. But I guess honesty and being open is an asset in Western society. I'm not saying the Japanese aren't honest, but I think the reserved nature of the Japanese often puts Westerners off. Of course, we've different cultures and different ways of thinking, so it can't be helped, eh?
>>402 My programming knowledge is limited to PHP scripting, so I wouldn't really know about that. I'm hoping to get into some encryption stuff over the Christmas break though (Haha, my last exam was yesterday, and class doesn't start till January 3rd!). Erm, in addition to studying Linguistics and Mandarin over the break.
This thread is getting more and more interesting, cuz some guys from other countries have begun to post. Only Internet makes it possible. I enjoy not only somebody's nonsense-talks but also foreigners' frank opinions. If you want to make others know your name, please write your name, but if not, just stay anonymous. Everything is OK in this thread. That's why this is my favorite thread now, and it's no wonder this thread is so popular, already Part 6.
> Westerners are in general showy and very assertive, > they like to make others know their name. > But Japanese like being anonymous because they are reserved.??
What an interesting thing to say because I know that when meeting in public and officially, Japanese people usually give their business cards to each other. This is not that common in the western world.
But I do think that Japanese people tend to have some sort of generally accepted set of morals that force the individual to act polite and always show the "appropriate" respect to each other.
Naturally, I think, while being good for a society in order to be peaceful, it also creates a lot of anxiety, pent-up emotions and such stuff. So, apart from 2ch being a great source of information and communication, it also has this very important function of serving as an outlet for people to be "themselves" (being yourself understood as expressing what you feel & think).
In the west, it is more common to be "yourself" in public. Westerners also have worse manners and are generally less polite than Japanese people. Perhaps these two issues are linked closely.
Actually, I would like to read parts 1-4 if possible. But I do not understand yet how the 2ch archives work. It seems like you can access threads in the archives only with the help of certain browsers like gikoNAVI or such. But I do not understand how those browsers work, at all.
>>407 I'll copy one posting from Part 1. What do you think about him? <Copy from Part 1> 172 :名無しさん@英語勉強中 :04/02/29 14:11 Everybody seems to be bored here. If so, please listen to my sad story, and give me some advice. A medical student seems to be here. Your advice would be highly appreciated. By the way I'm divorced now. My problem is that one day I got into my daughter's room to say "Good night" after coming from work, but she was already fast asleep. In her deep slumber, her blanket sort of moved away and exposed her lower body clad only in her G-string bikini panties. Before I could reach the blanket she moved and her crotch was opened exposing bits of her pubic hair. Sorry to say this, but I couldn't help getting horny just looking at it. I didn't know what came over me, but I just couldn't resist masturbating myself just watching her in that position. After jerking off I slowly covered her body with the blanket. Now it has been a week passed and I still haven't recovered from the incident. Now I get horny just looking at my daughter's photo that I carry with me everywhere I go. What should I do?
>>408 あれはうそきまっているでしょう?そういう人間がたぶん結婚できない。 西洋人にとってが、そのような事が本当に恐ろしい事と思います。 Or, instead of raping the Japanese language like a Japanese fashion designer rapes English... "That's fucking scary, mate."
By the way, is 「西洋人」even a word? I couldn't get the Japanese IME to show the thing, so I just wrote "touyoujin," deleted the "tou," and stuck in the nishi kanji... (it'd be "saiyoujin," right?). Bah...
Anyway, regardless, it would REALLY freak me out if there were actually people who did that kind of thing (period, though I know such people exist...), then posted about it on this kind of forum...
There are many kinds of people in Japan now. Some parents videotaped their daughter's nude, who is 11, and sold the tape to a shop to make a lot of money. Fact is stranger than fiction.
Girls are also bad. Many girls are like prostitutes. Yesterday some high school girls were sitting with their legs wide-open on the floor in a train. I could see the inside of their skirts. It was a nice view for me. But anyhow they are getting like whores. If not, they are like kindergarteners. Their mental age is too low.
>>418 You cannot write English at all, can you? You must be a high school student, and of course a girl, right? If so, don't come here, and post here in Japanse. Meiwaku. You are Itte yoshi.

>>427 Dude, who cares? I personally like seeing poorly structured English. It makes me feel better about how bad my Japanese is... Let poorly formed sentences run free amongst my rambling monologues! Etc. Etc.
>>433 Andrew, 427 posted the same copy in many places. He must be feeling frustrated because he cannot write anything in English. He must be feeling very lonely. But please just ignore him. I'll take care of him as a Japanese. Please come here, Pochi. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Just write something in English. Nobody wants perfect English here. This is a kind of jockey thread. But AA is very interesting.

When a man resign from mafia In Japan,ex-member must has his pinky chopped off. I was a member of Japanese mafia. So I had to do it. Ofcourse I did to be a "Katagi".
When I was trying to find good X-rated videos at Geo, a rental video shop, my female classmate was watching me by chance. Next day she told her friends about it. Many girls in my class began to say that I'm a dirty man. I think it's natural for high school students to watch X-rated videos. My female classmates are wrong. I just tried to solve it in a healthy way.
I'm listening to a song now. This song always reminds me of my junior high school days. I broke up with Naomi. What is she doing now? She went to Okinawa. I have a new girl friend now. Naomi may be married. But this song always reminds me of you. I'll pray for your happiness. I hope you don't know this thread. You didn't like English, so there is no possibility, I think. In a sense you were my first girl friend, and the first girl who loved me. But I really love my present girl friend. That's why I want you to be leading a happy life.
We should take economic sanctions on North Korea. They take Japan for a fool. Considering Japan's technology, it's easy distinguish a true body from a false one. US State Department says that it has clear evidence that North Korea is trying to make nuclear weapons through uranium enrichment. The present government should be overthrown. If we leave it as it is, the results will be grave indeed. We should fight communism, because we'll never be able to make 2 chan-like threads in communist-ruled countries. in
When I was applying for a new cell phone at an Au shop, the clerk had BO(tragomaschalia). Her body odor was so strong that I felt like throwing up. I felt very sorry for her. She is pretty but it's too hard to overcome the sickening smell. I look up to the workers in the shop.
any more i can't get the time now is the most important crossroads i guess makes me stronger and stronger. is it good or bad? is it right or wrong? is it today or tonight? my memories collpse right now before me thinking of my future and present situations not that i'm in a despair. another me are eating my minds my time my memories even my flesh and bones giving him oppotunities to fuck my head up to the core at the same time giving him chances to get me yes me myself right me the options in order to make my road ahead not rocky ones that is i am able to dream a lovely dream in a real world not a fiction story but a real fiction novel i myself write in a really fantastic way sometime you gave me i never never forget for me it had been my dearest asset from crale to grave from our only child to children of the child making me hypersensitive to anything relating to you such as .... i want to cherish everything another me and you my dearest presented to me long long ago even now flowing im my entire blood.
I can't take it any more that you are calling me every night. Why do you call me so often to the degree I can't stand it? I guess you also know we can't meet within the near future. Oh my god! Please give me the boat that can get me in and flow me to her right now and get me to say something important. I'm no good at mathematics. Only to think the mathematics test get me sick.
Sato Eri, and Koike left, but Megumi and Hinagata remained. Mugumi is very loyal as I thought. Some try to repay obligations, others return kindness with ingratitude or hostility.
She may be pregnant. She can have an abortion, but it's not good for her body. Don't you have enough information about birh control? Don't put your partner at risk by having unprotected sex.
In Japanese, "a cherry" means a person who is still a virgin. In English, "cherry" refers to the female hymen or the state "virginity", but not the person.
It's funny how both languages use this kind of fruit to refer to something that has had not any kind of sexual experience.
As for me, I am not a cherry. But it's been so long now, I almost feel like one again.
She is so nice, has big breasts, and well-grown thighs. I like girls whose thighs are a little fat. If such girls wear a short skirt, I can't stand it, but my dick stands.
>>496 Good job! You must be a "technician of words". You used "stand" in two means. One means "bearing something". The other means "erection". I'm moved by your sentences.
How do you know she is the one. Why can not we date with 2 girls at the same time? I love them both. Really. I love them both. They love me, too. I can not choose. They have tottaly different personality, and are both attracting. As for sex, one is much better and the other is okay. If I get married, can I be sure that I will never cheat on her? I am not sure.... oh well.
the last program of shinsengumi is very moving I think. If I were born that time, I would be okita. all of you in this thread are horses, frogs, or dogs I think
Tomorrow I have to go to school again. I hate it. I had two days off. I don't feel like studying. I wish the Christmas break would come sooner. I want to take at least 10 days off. I can take days off only in my imagination.
Why did you do that? I feel so disappointed. I've never thought you are such ---. I'll forgive you just this once, because I can understand your hard and complicated circumstances. But I'll never be able to forgive you deep in my heart. The subscription fee is 4016 yen.
How hard and frustrated it is to say exactly in a foreign language what I mean or feel. The words necessary to express my meaning are so limited that I can't get my point across smoothly. It seems to be next to impossible to master two languages. I should know when to give up.
Every time I masturbate I feel stronger and stronger. More I feel stronger as a man, More I feel my cock is bigger and tougher. My right hand is my cock's lover. My cock would crow aloud. Before my cock explode in my hand,he cries 'cock-a-doodle-doo' Timpo loves manko and vice versa.
Don't be myself but be yourself. It's my desire. And please find a lot of faults with others. So you'll be able to be highly appliciated. Believe me and do it.
>>514 You fucking wanker! I recommend a series of Dream shower. Doubtless I myself am Bukkake freak. My girlfriend's face is covered with my cum every day in my imaginary wonderful interesting world.
>> I thought you are a man. Are you a woman????? Don't use such dirty words. Women should be more decent, becaue it's much more exciting to have sex with a decent woman. At least pretend to be reserved and shy. It makes men more get horny.
>>529 Ed, not "a Amercain thing", but "an American thing", I think. Anyhow, you are right. He is American. Actually I lived in Chicago. "Fag" is made of three letters. That's the reason.
The great prophet that is google tells me that it used to refer to an outstanding athlete who participated in and got awarded varsity letters for all three sports (basketball, football, and baseball). Odd.
>>527 I'm American (albeit living in Canada). Never heard such a phrase.
>>533 Er, not really. It might in latin (though I think it's a preposition that means "with"), but even then, it'd be pronounced [kuːm], where as the "cum" you're thinking of is pronounced [kʌm]. Two completely different words (and, for that matter, languages).
>>535, 537 You guys must be very serious persons. Just search this word in "Yahoo." You can read like this: "In High School this was a good athlete. But the derogatory version alludes to the three letters in the word 'fag.' "(from Yahoo research) Anyway I didn't know that good meaning at all. Thanks for teaching.
>>542 I WILL kill you, Ed. And I'm catholic. And don't make me pop a cap in your ass, yo! Bitch. Fo snizzle. My Nizzle. Pizzle. Gizzle. Wazzup, hommie G, I got the mad -- yeah, fuck it.
>>544 Er, no. I think you mean ejaculation. Probably.
And exploding sperm is BAD. BAD. You do not want exploding sperm. If anything, you'd never have a kid.
Thank you for your reply I guess I learned something valuable tonight. "Ejaculation', eh? What about "顔面シャワー" How do you say showering your sperm on her face in English?
>>549 Bukakke, or something like that. In homage to the fact that only the Japanese are messed up enough to be into such things. In Canada and the US, it's considered a sick joke, and NOT something you ever do.
Christ, the second I read "Ganmen shower," part of me died...
>>552 What do you mean? Are there no words to express showering your sperm on her face in English? Niether does "中出し"??? You just don't know those words, do you?
>>551 お前らの英語な語彙はそんなにいいと思いないけど。Though naturally, I've no illusions as to how good my Japanese is (i.e. crap)
>>555 I haven't seen those characters used together before. Guessed at the meaning according to the individual characters. You probably meant "pulling out in the middle," or something like that? I dunno, learning sexual vocabulary in Japanese hasn't been really high on my list of priorities, since I don't really like Japanese girls. Fo shizzle.
hello- I'm a NEET. is there anyone who lets me stay in your house as a housewife? actually I'm a man, so I'm not sure "a housewife" is a right word for a man, but anyway I'll do whatever you want, such as cooking, cleaning a house, washing clothes. I even give you a great massage that definitely makes you feel good. Please! I really need a place to stay.
There is something odd about the Japanese guy who comes out in the wee hours of the morning. He is quite a character. I wonder why he is so aggressive. He may suffer from an inferiority complex.
I like a selection of sliced sashimi, a whole fish grilled with salt, skewered grilled chicken, pieces of white meat alternating with leek ,Japanese hotchpotch, and mixed fillings of seafood, meat and vegetables.
>>595 I absolutely agree with you that true happiness lies in our own families. Ladies and Gentlemen be ambitious! Let's have sex as often as possible.
I wonder why so many high school girls are looking for a married male with money to support them. Compensated dating is getting more and more popular. What is it that they really want? Money or sense of relief?
A couple of cats are meeting to bother me outside braving this frigid temperature. I'm gonnna fight off them so as to be able to consentrate on my study.
What has caused the deterioration of morale? I think it mainly comes from family problems. The bad relationships between husband and wife have had bad influence on their children. If their parents get divorced, it' no wonder the children can never believe in love or trust anyone. After all it leads to the deterioration of public morals. Considering those matters, the good relationships between husband and wife are the most important to make a better society. But for this, man's good sex technique is also important. We shouldn't sprinkle with only fine phrases. We have to to satisfy not only our mental desire but also our physical urge.
↑first, God does NOT exist. second, if u wanna dis japan, why tha fuck ru here? get tha fuck outta here. im sure ur damn ugly, too. and we eat fish cuz its good 4 our health, at least much better than fucking american food. BIATCH.
>>629 Dude, I'm not saying the Japanese in general are ugly. I mean, I've seen hot Japanese girls before... Just, I haven't met any that I've been attracted to at my university. Not yet, at least.
Raw fish, mate, RAW fish. Fish is fine. I don't eat meat myself, but cooked meats are usually nice and healthy. It's raw stuff that can make you ill though. Hell, have you been following the news about the Ukranian election? One of the canadidates had REALLY bad facial scaring, and they initially blamed Sushi. I mean, it WASN'T, but you know. The fact that it was blamed kinda tells you something... And American food isn't that bad. Fast food is shit, I agree, but you know. A good south western meal with corn bread is one of the greatest meals known to man.
God SO exists.
And I'm here because this forum is funny, and Ed keeps referring me to it.
>>630 ok. i do understand. u mean "NOT YET". i guess jap girls r the hottest..well, i mean tha cuttest in like asia.nah mean? raw fish doesnt make us ill @ all. at least fish in jpn doesnt.nah mean? i don't no 'bout raw fish in foreign countries, though. 'bout the candidate, he is a guy. no candidates can't dis foreign shit. i don't about the south western meal cuz i ain't tried it be4. any GAIJIN here? holla.
I think Scarlett Johansson is mysteriously gorgeous ever since I saw her in Lost in Translation. I would like a nice wallpaper of her if anyone has one or a good picture to make into one. Thanks!
With Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation, Johansson's touching performance as a young girl who strikes a tentative friendship with a washed up American actor (memorably portrayed by Bill Murray) while staying in Japan left no doubts regarding her dramatic skills in the eyes of many, and the rising starlet was soon cast in the lead of such subsequent films as The Girl with the Pearl Earring (2003) and The Perfect Score (2004).
The letter said me,“ I come here by walk today from charch,so very tired. Sister maria waiting for God's chirdren on christmas day. Of course you too.Come and enjoy this time.” But...to tell the truth I don't wanna go.....
On this English message board, so many different types of people have come to post messages. It would be quite meaningful for even some foreigners to keep posting interesting messages. Some abusers sometimes try to attack them, but they are not so foolish that they could enjoy it. Only good words make us very bored. By reading their messages I've found that westerns tend to think everything very logically.
One thing I don't understand is why they don't realize door knob should not be made of metal. I hate to get shocked by static electcirity when I touch the metal knob.
>>546 You have written "I WILL kill you". Though here is on the Internet, but writting is equal to saying. You used the word "KILL",so I must take you to court. But I am the other,so I'm gonna report your action to manager HIROYUKI. Be lookin' forward to meeting >>542.
Frustration or boredom is surely a major concern with most of us, if not all. Things not happening according to our own expectations, towards our own personal leanings, inclinations and satisfaction seem to be the major factors behind all this. In short, frustration and boredom are in the denial of fulfillment of our heart-felt desires If there is no sense of a single denial, there is no frustration, or boredom. But is it possible to live a life without ever getting a single feeling that one is "denied" of something? Anyhow it's hard to express some ideas in a foreign language.
I'm stuck in a rut, but I cannot get out of it for many reasons. Mr. S seems to be nice, but in fact, he is very cold, lacks something important. He is only a high school graduate, for which he may feel an inferiority complex. The guys who have a sense of inferiority tend to make me very tired. Because they try to make a desperate effort so that they won't be looked down upon by others. But for that I feel that they suffer from inferiority feelings. Just be yourself, otherwise, Mr. S, you are a kind, nice person.
She said that she heard the voice "Don't die", which made me feel worried again. She always gives me a hard time. Owing to her, I always feel worried. I sometimes thought I wanna leave her, but I cannot, because she's too cute. Maybe I have to resign myself to the destiny. I'll go ahead with her, bearing her cross myself. I'll share her fate.
Dude, there's no problem unless she has suicidal wishes or some bad wishes. I bet she's lying. She wants to get an attraction or she's just a psychic person wannabe.
Oh, from 666, It's easy to guess. I'm also a college student. I go to N university in Aichi prefecture. But I skip about half of the classes. I suppose you love English. What university do you go to, and what's your major? Of course you don't have to answer. I just talked to myself.
>>676 I major in science at T university (not Tokyo University). Though my attendance rate is pretty high lately, overall you can't skip more classes than me. I'm a worst student out of consideration of dropouts. I'm a kind of hikky and often check this thread. About 3 times a day!
Why NHK doesn't offer a pretty fairy Yuko Ogura to show RED-WHITE Song Festival on the Eve night of the New Year? I think her song is better than any other singers
People of different opinions are mixed on this message board. That's why it's so fun to read this board. One is surprisingly religious. Some love masturbation. Some like current English. Some like to attack others. One common point is that all of us want some sort of satisfaction whether it is physical or mental.
I jerked off looking at the video of Komori Miyuki. But my question is that why we get tired of looking at the same photo or video when we jerk off. It is only twice or at most three times that I can masturbate watching the same video, even if the actress is very pretty, and my type. But interestingly enough as far as sex is concerned, I prefer the same girl. I don't want to leave my present girl friend. But I sometimes enjoy jerking off even if I have a girl freind and make sex with her about once a week. Is there anyone who can masturbate watching the same video all the year round?
>>691 now i'm laughing deeply while reading. but i prefer gravure idol to av idol. for example, Sayuri Anzu. she is so cute! my favorite! have you ever masturbated with the photo or dvd of gravure idol as her? as for me, Anzu will make me ejaculate within 1 minutes. try to masturbate with gravure idol as Anzu once!
Physical satisfaction is different from mental satisfaction. To fulfil physical needs, newness, change, difference or violence is important. For instance we don't want to eat same dishes every day, because eating is to satisfy our physical needs, so we want to have different dishes. But as far as mental satisfaction is concerned, stability, sameness, rest or peace is important.. For instance when we want to feel relaxed, we tend to go to the familiar place. Everybody has his or her own favorite place to relax, such as his/her own room, a nice restaurant, a karaoke house, a nice pub and so on. It may be true of your girl friend. If you want only physical satisfaction from your girlfriend, you will be tempted to get a new girlfriend sooner or later. But if you want mental satisfaction from your girlfriend, you will have or want to have a long relationship with her. As for me, I want both.
How long have days gone since she's gone? Only I think of you ev'ryday Fuckn' my life seem to come the end But she's left for another man Get on fire!! I've been burnin' I've been waitin' for her But her mail told me to give up
You're usually hilarious, affable, and kind to all of us, but you get easily angry about any little thing. So people talk about you behind your back like they must avoid saying anything that'll get on your nerves even if it's what they think doesn't hurt anyone's feeling but yours. Have you realized it? You may think you're popular among them, but actually not at all. Just face the reality!
Do you guys know about "between the lions", a TV program in which some lion pupets teach you English. According to its official web site, the program is aimed at from 4-to-7-year-old children, (of course they're native speakers, though) but I'm sure it helps us learn the language very much. The lions helps us boost our vocabulary power as in today lesson entice, scrumptious, vile, wicked and what not. In my opinion, most of the Japanese people don't know these words except for intermediate or advanced learners of English in Japan. That led me to think we have to learn English from scratch like children do, including vocabulary.
I hope the program will get popular among 2ch'ers. And we could talk about it!
"SAYURI ANZU" IS STH SPECIAL ONLY FOR ME. I AM SURE I AM A MAN SUITABLE FOR HER PARTNER IN LIEE. I WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REALIZE MY DREAM. YES! I KNOW I AM STUPID BUT SERIOUS. PLEASE WATCH ME WARMLY AND SILENTLY!
Today is so happy day.Very happy day. Because I can many things. For exanple washing dishes and swimming and studying and many many things. That is why I feel happy.
She's a pity. She said to us "I can't make my mind who I love." I said to myself "Bitch.Go to the hell and lick my ass." And my friend said to HER,"I'm gonna make you feel so good." They're really foolish.
I like her because she likes me. If she gets to hate me, of course I'll leave her. I can love only the girl who likes me. Why can I love the girl who doesn't like me? It's nonsense. I can't believe a stalker. Why can he love or cling to a girl who doesn't like him. It's a waste of time. I think I may be the safest person for girls, because I can never become a stalker. I always say to my girl friend that you can leave me anytime you have lost interest in me.
I'll have the year-end party this Saturday. I'll have to pay 6000 yen for it. It's too expensive. People in the managerial class should pay more than ordinal employees, because they get a higher salary.
I wanna buy a new car. Which is better, a low displacement car or a standard-sized car? If I buy the former, the automobile tax is only 7000 yen. But if I drive a long distance, it makes me more tired. Which should I put emphasis on, the low cost or the comfortable ride?
The hour grows late, and soon I must sleep. Prior to that though, I will park my jeep. Parking is hard, without any wheels, So I'll just put it in neutral, and push it down hills. Object though you may to my use of slant rhyme, I don't really care, cause I lack enough time. I said it before, it's late and I'm tired. Who am I to think of a rhyme more inspired? Doesn't that parse, the sentence above? I swear it's correct, as true as my love. It's just that I'm using a diction quite old. But I digress, back to what I told. You see I am smitten--I deeply adore, All that you are, that you aren't, and plus more! Okay I am done, this poem grows to long. As does the hour. It's time to play pong. So goodnight to all, my ni channel friends. I'm afraid this is where my scribbling ends.
My frind M always says to me "You broke my heart" after talking or writing each other. I'm fed up with the way he says. He is just selfish, delusional and immature.
Nothing comes to mind. Maybe I have to work too hard, which makes me so exhausted. To my surprise she loved cleaning. She is not intelligent, but she is domestic type. So she'll be able to be a nice wife.
Too much work leads to decreasing sexual desire. Sexual impotence cannot make your girlfriend or wife satisfied. In the end she'll leave you. Hard work is the source of family trouble.
some reasons? No you have a single reason reason why you hate Xmas is very simple the answer is you are NEET and cherry who has never had a girl friend and sexed and kissed.lol you had better go to soap
I didn't drink much at today's year-end party, but I feel tired. The older I became, the weaker I got. Some people have something to me in ther heart. I felt it.
I have heavy stiff shoulders. These days I ofen have a headache. I thought I'm quick to catch a cold. But now I've found that my headache comes from my heavy stiff shoulders.
I'm ok with Xmas. Why? Do I have a nice girl friend or fun party I look forward to? Nope. I have nothing to do, of course. I have been so since I was a child. Xmas is as normal as weekday for me. My point is to live happier, don't think of what you are not likely to get.
Her finger technique is excellent. I feel as if I were in heaven.. Her sex or fellatio is not so marvelous. There must be many other girls that can give me more sexual pleasure than she. But when it comes to finger technique, I've never met such a girl, including professional girls, as gives me so much pleasure. She is a very serious girl, and was virgin before she began to go out with me. So she has naturally learned her finger technique. She is a genius. But why is fellatio not that good? Zannen(Regretful)!
There are only more two weeks until New Year's Day. How will be the next year? I hope I'll have a lucky year. I've wanted to get away from reality this year. I was very very shocked to know her problem.
First of all I have to decide what to do today. Oh, first I'm gonna go to a coffee shop to have a morning special. Second I'll go to a rental video room and watch some x-rated videos to jerk off. But I cannot decide what I should do thirdly. Oh, I'll come back and go to bed again. It's the best way to relax today.
How many more years do I have to study English? It seems impossible to understand 100% of English movies, which makes me feel very frustrated. I think listening is the most difficult part about learning English. Of course, writing English is very difficult. I can never have confidence in my written English . Maybe natives feel that my English is very strange. But anyhow I can consult a dictionary when I write, but when I watch English movies, I have no time to look up the words in a dictionary I don't know. What is worse, it's very difficult to distinguish the words spoken by native speakers. So I can't even catch many words. It would be absolutely impossible to completely master two languages. It may come from our brain system. So I have to be satisfied with writing poor English on this jokey message board. But is there anyone that feels he/she has mastered a foreign language completely.
The relationship between man and woman is very incomprehensible. Most women try to get away from the man when they feel love from the man. And they try to judge the man. In a sense they want to make sure that his love is true or not. They often talk with other men in front of him, so that the man feels jealous, and tries to get closer to her. Many women enjoy this kind of process. But there are many types of women. It was not true of K. K was so straight and has directly accepted my love. She was not like an actress. That's the point where I really like her.
In a sense the most important thing in life is to find how to kill time. For me it's to read 2-chan and write something in English. Especially writing English is the best way to kill time. This is not an exam. So I don't have to be worried about grammatical mistakes. In order to kill time, it's important to be able to feel relaxed and feel what I'm doing is not bad.
K1 is getting less and less interesting. Why? K1 has been boring since Musashi began to remain in the final. As a Japanese I should be glad that Musashi remains in the final. Why is it not interesting? Maybe many people haunt doubts about the judges. Many people thought that if the judges had been non- Japanese, Ray would have won the bout with Musashi. And Host would have won the bout with Bon if the judges had been non-Japanese. Now K1 seems to be controlled by TV companies and Tanigawa so that they can get a higher viewer rating. But for this, real fans for martial arts are getting away from K1. Now for me, Pride is more interesting than K1. But Pride also will go in the same direction as K1. After all the high viewer rating is the most important for the sponsors of TV programs. Nobody can deny it.
People like to sympathize with me when I'm very unhappy, but don't like to share with my joy when I'm happy. It's easy to share with other's sorrows, but very difficult to share with other's joy. I hate only superficial compassion.
I can't make a nice girl friend. When I tell a girl my feelings, she always does a beautiful job of rejecting me. The girls who wanted to develop a close relationship with me were not my type. One reason for this may be that I place much emphasis on her looks or face. I cannot love ugly girls from the bottom of my heart. Many people say that good-nature is the most important. I can understand it in my head, but my dick can't understand it.
Upper House is the House of Councilors. Lower Hose is the House of Representatives. The House of Representatives has more authority than the House of Councilors. Because the House of Councilors can make the final decision on many things.
Oh, I gotta go to work tomorrow again. It makes me depressed. There must be a lot of people who just go to work in order to make a living. If I won 100000000 yen in a lottery, I could quit my work. But it's just a dream. Reality is tough.
I went to see a doctor two weeks ago because of a headache. The doctor said there was no problem. I believed it and have been at home to take a rest. But the pain's getting heavier. I don't know what to do. Over-the-counter medicine didn't work either. I'm a college student. I think I'm going to fail credits. That's why I am really upset. Sorry for my terrible English. Help!
>>831 That's sorry to hear. I think I can help you. Firstly, stop watching 2ch late at night. Then put pickled plums all around your face and wrap seaweed around your neck. One night with them will get you perfectly good.
THIS IS THE ADDRESS OF BBC "FREE" HP FOR "MOBILE". "BBC" HP HAS MANY CATEGORIES. SO WE CAN GET MUCH INFO, AND WHAT IS MORE, "LEARN ENGLISH" FROM THIS HP AT "ANY TIME AND PLACE"
>>834 Do you know Turkish bath. "Soap land" means Turkish bath. In the past in a Turkish bath, a pretty washed man's whole body including his dick, and then she made sex with man. In the past even in Japan we called such a place "Turkish bath", but now we don't use the word "Turkish bath", because it's an insulting word for Turkish people. Where does "soap" come from? It's easy to guess. In the place, that is, a kind of bathroom. the girl uses soap a lot. Do you know "Alice in Wonder Land"? If you go to such a place, you can cry out, I'm in "Soap Land". Get it?
Our bodies are gifts from God. The Lord has commanded us to keep our bodies and minds healthy. By doing this, we are better able to take care of our own needs and serve others.
I wonder why some people can believe in one religious group such as Christianity, Moslem, Jewish and so on so strongly. Especially why can Islamic fundamentalists have such a strong faith? I feel there is something in common between Aum Shinrikyou believers and Islamic fundamentalists. One common point is that they can, without hesitation, kill people for their faith. There being many religions means there being many gods. Whose god is the strongest? Is it really worth thinking of? It is very difficult to distinguish faith and ideology or brain washing.
The Bush administration and the Republicans are supported by Christian fundamentalists in the US. Many Americans think that moral values based on religeous belief are as much as or more important than the economic situation. That brought victory to Bush in the presidential election back in November.
I admire pure-hearted people. But on the other hand, I think it's very dangerous to have pure faith. When I think of this irony, I feel very sad. In my opinion, we can believe in God, but we should not believe in one religious group. When we believe in one religious group, it brings about a lot of problems.
We can have a faith in one religious group, but we should not deny other ways of thinking in other religions. Problems actually surface, not when we believe in one religious group, but when we totally reject other religions.
Hey,my baby....why don't you try to face me? You willingly talked to me before, didn't you? Why?You only gaze at your cell-phone. I felt so sad... And after that you were talkin' with M when I passed by. Why?Please talk to me and stare at me from your heart!! Your birthday is the day when "juror system" were introduced. If you will be able to stay with me by the day, please turn out the light and hold me tight!!
Ms Takato has gone to Iraq. I'm wondering whether her action should be admired or blamed. I think if she has begun to work in Iraq again only to satisfy her own inner desire, she should be blamed. But what would be the criterion of judgment in a true sense?
Most Japanese are not interested in religious things. Their main concern is sex and masturbation. But ironically Japan is a much safer country than religious countries in the Middle East.
I wanted to marry S, but I couldn't. So I married a girl whom I liked but didn't love. But now I can love and get along with her. I might have chosen a better girl. But S is very beautiful and intelligent. Sometimes she comes to my mind.
When da sun sets, the lovers' times begin. She talked to me,but left alone. Though we were talkin',you sometimes faced away. What I realized was that she was with her friend when she talked to me. But I accidentaly saw.....She was talkin' to another man when she was alone!!!!! The situation was so sad to me.
Interestingly enough some persons are allergic to native speakers. If natives speakers post some messages, they get angry, and try to attack the persons. I wonder whether they really want to study English, and what they come to English threads for. It is they that are of no value in English threads. What are the depths of their consciousness? They must be traumatized by natives, because they feel so tense that they can't talk with native English speakers. Actually I know such persons in my office. They have the pre-first grade of English Proficiency Test, but they always try to avoid talking with natives even if they have a chance to do so. I feel a pity for them, but they should stop studying, because they give a misleading impression of Japanese people.
Our world is very hypocritical, and hard to go through. In our world there is so much contradiction and vulnerability we are forced to accept. Now there is nothing that catches my interest. I loved a woman once, but love turned to banality sooner or later. Even if I fall in love with a woman, I can guess the end, so I can't bring myself to love a woman. But I hate nihilism.
Women tend to love the man who can look up to. They seek emotional and physical security, so they feel most secure when they feel possessed by a strong, loving man.
Women are similar to the earth. The earth receives sunshine, water and seed and produces life. A woman receives a man's love and seed and after a period of gestation, she gives birth to a new human being.
Many people can't make harmonious relationships today. It is quite noticeable in love between men and women. A lot of men and women have failed to build up good relationships. So quite a few people cannot get married. The technological development is marvelous, but psychologically we are far behind. I do not mean any personal offense to you.
If you hate nihilism you must ultimately seek for the one thing that deserves your total approval! Saying "yes" without any restrictions within yourself to just one single thing will cure of your nihilism!
She is not very intelligent, so she can love me so much. But in general, intelligent women cannot love a man, because they are afraid of failing or hurting their feelings. In a short they use not their heart but their head too much.
I don't think that is true. Sure she might recognize love is very unreasonable but she would find it hard to control her feelings as anyone else does. Love is a built-in passion of mankind.
I dont know why Japanese are celebrating the chirsmas, I dont care the chirsmas for me. We are buddist anyway, so I dont care about chrismas. And why men are giving presents for women chirstmasday, I dont understand...... Nobody knows why......
Japanese are too simple. So they are quick to be cheated by commercialism. For instance chocolate companies sell a lot of chocolates to women on Valentine's Day. Many shops sell Christmas presents on Christmas. The reason why Japanese are easily taken advantage of by commercialism is that Japanese don't have their own philosophy or faith.
Two girls love me. What is worse, they are good friends. I like one a little more than the other. But I cannot choose one. Would it better for me to leave both?
I just watched the latest Gozilla movie. What the hell was that? That's not Gozilla! The director, Ryuichi Kitamura, totally got his own way. Taken by surprise, but I wasn't bored because of its peculiarity.
Don't you know Che Jiu? She is the main actress of "Winter Sonata". I think Che's one is more tasty. Yukorin seems to be lazy, but Che seems to be particular about cleanliness. So it doesn't stink, I feel.
I'm now working on New Year postcards, but I can't come up with what to write "a word" on them. Because, I've never had anything good or exciting this year.
I molested a girl on the crowded train every day. I thought she would change the train, but she never changes the train, and even tries to get on from the same door, where I'm always waiting. It means that she enjoys my touching her thighs. I want to quit, but I cannot. Because I feel I may be helping her to get rid of her stress. Should I continue or stop it?
If she is OK with that, he shouldn't be punished. In this kind of case, according to Japan's law, if she doesn't claim it to the police, he can't be punished. But in terms of public morals, it is certain that he should stop it.
Today it’s the first day for the winter vacation. I feel a lot relaxed. I’ll write something in English in order to kill time. Many high school teachers can’t motivate the students to study English. They teach only shit English, using traditional 'grammar-translation' methods. It seems to me that quite a few English teachers in public high schools are wasting our tax, and what is worse, they screw up their students’ possibility. They are very good at pointing out students’ grammatical mistakes. It can be discouraging for us. I think we need more teachers who can encourage students. Considering the current soial trend, it seems better for English teachers to have skills good enough to pass the 1st level of English Proficiency Test(Eiken). I’m a high school student, and like Enligh very much, But I can’t bring myself to study English at school. Can the government offer us various classes with different learning styles? Physical response approach that requires students’ creativity would be much more interesting.
>>943 You're in high school? You have a very good command of English! How have you taught yourself such a good English? I mean, you said the English taught at your school isn't quite stimutating, which naturally leads you to learn it by yourself, right? Or someone with an excellent skill at teaching it does such a marvelous job?
Thank you for the compliments. Yes, I am a second-year student in high school in Gifui Prefecture. I read my posting again. I can't believe that you are really thinking my English is good. My English is only poor Japanese English. When I read the messages written by native speakers of English, I always feel my English is completely different from theirs. I have to suffer from an inferiority complex. So sorry, but I can't tell you how I have learned English. It is I that want to learn the better way of studying English from good English teachers.
>>947 Yes, I really think your English deserves some compliment, especially considering your age and learning environment. And no suffering! Yours conveys perfectly what you want to say.
Shinsuke is right in slapping the lady. She must have been very arrogant. We should scold the arrogant women. Sinsuke's TV programs were very interesting I want him to come back to TV.
It was my big mistake that I sold him my PC. He doesn't know computers well. He cannot install OS on the hard disk. He cannot make a boot disk which can read CD ROM drive. He cannot write config.sys. I'm desperate. I have to do it. I sold the PC for only 1000 yen. I shouldn't have sold it to not him but to K, who is an expert in PCs.
What attracts me the most is her sweet and tender touch. She has magical fingers. I feel I depend on my girl friend too much. Why do we depend? Even if we say that we don't depend on anyone, we depend on a belief, on a system, on a philosophy, and so on. And we ask another for a mode of conduct; we seek teachers who will give us a way of life which will lead us to some hope, some happiness. So we are always searching for some kind of dependence, security. Is it possible for the mind ever to free itself from this sense of dependence?
Words can make the boundaries that limit us to a superficial understanding. How can we transcend the limits of words and reach the deeper meanings? I can't understand love. But it may be love that goes beyond words. I may be able to understand love thanks to my Swedish friend.
>>943 It's like that mostly everywhere in Japan. In my school, English teachers were awful and nobody but a few liked English. I hated it as well. My main reason is they didn't let us use electronic dictionary and forced us to use papery dictionary. That was a total waste of time.
I guess your teachers aren't good but I don't understand one thing. Why is it bad to point out student's grammatical mistakes? Grammer is one of the most important thing for us, especially for those who are going going to university. Grammatical error causes a impression that you are uneducated and unintelligent, and may cause a awful misunderstanding of what you say/write. Do you think it is ok to make lots of mistakes only because some uneducated people in US tend to make grammatical errors? Hell, no unless what you wanna do is only English conversation with a broken English and never discuss anything intelligent or formal.
I wish high-school teachers could encourage us to learn English but I think it's pointless to criticize them teaching grammer in detail.
It is unfortunate that people as motivated as yourselves can not learn English to the level you desire.
There are many problems that must be solved before you will get a quality education in English in Japan. Everyone is to blame and points fingers but do nothing to change. + Hire more native speakers. (JET or others) Have them do *actual dynamic* teaching. If they read the same book a Japanese teacher would read, then it is pointless. ---+ Also, do not discriminate if the teacher isn't white and American. Any person can do the job just as well if not better than your typical dumb blonde American with blue eyes. Even "nikkeijin" who cannot speak one word Japanese.
+ Dynamic teaching involves both understanding and *participation* from the teacher(s) and the students. Games can be very educational (like english shiritori) ---+ Dynamic also means that you can not follow the class seating, or student list to choose the next player. Following a fixed order makes students ignore over half of the lesson by not listening and only waiting until the person before has their turn.
Good luck learning a new language. Mistakes are OK as long as you learn from them.
If a girl gets in the bed and has some fun with me, then she is my friend for life and no bad words about her will ever come out of my mouth. But I can't trust such girls as avoid sex by making a silly reason, "I just want "friends only" relationship. Why did I have to treat you to dinner? You had to say that before I paid the money. Finding a cool girlfriend is really chanllenging. I tend to like a girl who looks a little inaccessible.
I heard Japanese women are the most feminine in the world. But to my great surprise, a lot of Japanese young girls talk in high-picthed, excited voices on the street or even on the train. Also many girls wear immodest clothes.
The drunk driving law is too tough today. Not only the driver but also all license holders in the car have to pay 300,000 yen, along with the demerit points.
I feel many Japanese women are using foreigners to learn and practice their English. Women know within the first two or three dates if they will ever sleep with the man during the course of relationship. But women don't tell it when the man is useful for something such as feeling secure in their office or learning English for nothing. Don't feed the troll.
Akebono vs Royce Gracie It's going to be a pretty dull fight. Akebono isn't good at blocking hits and has bad footwork. He' s vulnerable for a punch in the face and kicks in his legs will give him trouble. But his amazing weight is a threat to Royce. Akebono has no ground techniques, but if he can hold down Royce on the mat, Royce cannot move. So Akebono may have a chance to win. Royce's fighting techniques are just excellent, but his fights are so dull. There is nothing interesting or exciting in his fights. In a short, this fight will be dull.
I think old traditional 'grammar-translation' method is the only effective one for many students in low level high schools. Conversational method would be only practicable for high level schools and English conversation schools, where the students are well motivated to learn. In our school, the classes organized by a native speaker of English are most chaotic. The native speaker, who is American, cannot cope with the classroom chaos. Students cannot understand his English and his Japanese is not good enough to calm down the students. Many students in lower-level schools are like kindergartners or brutal animals. In other words, it is only when have only good, well-motivated students that we can give ideal classes. For that I really feel sorry for a few students who are eager to learn English even if they are in a low level school. They are the victims of stupid students. Foolish students shouldn't take English classes. It's better for them to work outside of school. I think many teachers who are teaching in a low level school can understand this very well.
>>970 I doubt conversational methods work well even in upper-level schools, except in rare cases. Such methods only function with not more than a dozen students and with a large amount of time spent exposing students to English-speaking environment. Besides, what high school teaches depends very much upon university entrance exams, which currently requires of students little conversatoinal skills.
So realistically high schools, lower-level or not, have no other choice but to offer teaching with emphasis on grammar.
I don't like to marry a good-looking woman. Beautiful women try to get things done as they please all the time. As most men always permit them to do so, they think it's a matter of course. So they have become ungrateful. I prefer an average (or a little above)-looking woman with good heart, because she would be much nicer to me and care a lot more about me. It's much more important for me.
Hey NEETs! How are you? I have got to go to my girlfriend's house to celebrate Christmas and sex with her How about you? you have only to wank in your room and after go to sleep!
>>976 You still stay home at 7:00. Please have sex with your girlfriend in your imagination. I just come back from the Christmas party. Of course I attended it with my girlfriend.
Use imagination. H often feels depressed, which makes me very depressed. I like sado, but sado makes me sad. As sadists feel sad, so painters may feel pain.
