Please say something freely only in English and leave. This is a monologue thread. So you can talk to yourself. Others don't have to take part in it or give a response.
guys who like Enlish and are a little good at English tend to have a lot of pride. So quite a few of them are little strange and are hated by other people.
during the bon vacation i get up around 10:30. i'm looking forward to watching the bout of Fedor and Ogawa on TV tomorrow, more eager to watch the olympics.
i bought a new pc one month ago. norton was pre-installed on the computer. why did such a lot of viruses come into my pc even if i connect my pc to the net all day long? norton is really useless.
This whole thread iz totally pointless... Yo! Mr or Ms #2, I bet yaself iz just like what you said. Low grammatical levels and lexical levels are obiously seen in here! I don`t giva fuck about ya, but please B more responsible for ya self. Otherwise, people whoz trying to start out da spoken English will think that ya English iz such a common 1, youknowImean? English could B more fun 2 study without knowin' yall mothafakaz tryin' 2 show-off ya fuckin useless skillz ! Well, keep it up 'n see waz up in tha future... I would say yall B fucked though...
The Olympics has just started but I can't make myself get into it. As I grow older I think I'm losing an interest in sports.
But at the same time I'm becoming less interested in music, too. I play guitar and I have some deeper understanding in music than others I guess, but today's music scene doesn't really fit in. I don't think the level of the music today is getting lower than yesterday. Nor do I think I'm getting behind the times as I got older..... I take it retrogression into the past and combining ethnic taste into the comtemporary context are the features of today's music scene. But the excessive efforts to create something new and bizzare seem to be making people mistake that music is something very difficult to understand. This tendency was the strongest in the late 90's and it's getting a little weaker now, but it's covering over the music in '00, too. I hope that musicians will create music that everyone can enjoy and I don't want them to try to mislead people by giving false impression.
How can I know whether she really loves me or not? I feel many women pretend to like us, men, so many men are cheated. My best friend was cheated by a woman. A girl is trying to come closer to me. How can I know the innermost of her heart?
I think when a woman gets closer to a man, she surely likes him, if it's only for a short time. A guy like me has never been approached by a girl because I'm not a popular type. I once read somewhere that a girl tries to approach a guy when she loves him while a guy tries to avoid her when he loves her. I assume your case is rather rare and it's unusual for a man. The conclusion is clear and simple: YOU ARE POPULAR.
>>22 What I mean is a little different from what you are trying to say. In the past a girl got closer to me, and I thought she loved me. But as it turned out, she said to me that she liked me as a friend. Since then I've been cautious about this kind of matter. It is not friendship but love that I want from a woman. If it is just a freind relationship, male freinds are much better. I don't want to be popular but want to be really loved by a girl.
>>23 If that's the case, I think you should tell her about it. If she doesn't really love you, at least she likes you as a friend. If she loves you, she will be your girl. In which case, you have nothing to lose. But if you want her to love you 100 percent, it's not the way to go...
Today, I will pick up my steady at the air port. We have not met for more than two months, so we'll light our fire in the bed. It will be hard for me to wait in that sweet time.
I wonder if there really is distinct difference in the feeling between love and friendship when it comes to girls? Girls often say "We end up in marrige to a man but not to a close friend! It's kinda...like our hunch or instinct." If that's the case, We guys should not try to be too frank with girls whom we really love? Does that mean I'd better keep a little distance from her? I don't quite get it...
There are two tyeps of girls. One is the girl who wants to be loved by only one man. The other is the girl who wants to be loved by as many men as possible. The latter is jsut bullshit. Be careful not to be caught by this damm-shit girl.
Tani defeated Frederique Jossinet of France in the women's 48-kilogram class Saturday to win Japan's first gold medal at the Athens Olympics, and Tadahiro Nomura won the men's 60-kilogram final for a third straight Olympic gold.
Nomura won his third straight gold medal in 60 kg judo, beating Nestor Khergiani of Georgia in the final. He set the judo record for victories in consecutive Olympic Games.
I had long been watching the PRIDE-GP Final on the 2ch today. I'm so tired and exhausted. And I was disappointed with the last. The best is yet to come, all right?
I don't feel like studying today. If I don't study, I will be unhappier and unhappier. After all we have to die. I want to live more freely. But if I enjoy free time too much now, I have to suffer later. This idea makes me very depressed.
Ogawa might have thought that he could beat Fedor by any chance. But the reality is more sever than he expected. Practice makes perfect. I also have to keep it in mind.
I have no idea why some guys dwell upon blood type. There is no reason to prove it. Believing in blood type relationship would only be popular in Japan or Korea.
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, moms and dads, and family dogs. Summer has almost gone. Do you have any plan to do for the rest of summer? Um, I haven't found any good plan. Anyway, I enjoy watching the Olympics.
You were fucking me, and now you are treating me like a bitch. This is not even friends. I can't stand you anymore. Break up with that chinese bitch and go to hell.
>>52-53 I am now 4th year student of university, during summer vacation. I do not have parttime job right now, so I have lots of freetime. That's why I can watch it for a long time.
By the way, this thread is "monologue," but why does somebody reply?
In my fridge, there are a few stocks of brown rice. I' gona boil it in a rice-cooker today. Nowadays, I prefer eating brown rice to just rice. The reason may be I take care of my health.
you. you have become so dear to me. you will never know how much reading your words makes me happy. i have no desire to be your girlfriend, but my emotion for you is so strong and i have a very hard time appeasing the desire. i know well, that this passion will die down one day, but when it does, i hope i will still be part of your life.
she didn't come for a long time. That's because she has a lot of trouble now. So I tried many times. In the loug run she came after i massaged there about one hour. i was very tired, and i had great pain in my fingers, but i felt happiest when she came.
My PC seems to be sneaked in by some spyware. Offensive pop-up ads often show up when I'm using IE. I'm quite sick of it ! even though it doesn't do serious damage to the PC. I want to know how to get rid of it.
I've read many times that GE is the best method for all learners of English to master the language. At first, I thought it was a lie. But I did notice how useful it is after I tried it. Why did I ignore what Ken said, though it made perfect sense? I was stupid.
I hope you get started on GE right now, so that you won't fall flat.
when the temperature in my room is 27'C, i feel too cool, but when it's 28'C, i feel hot. i have an extreme sensitivity to temperature. so i have to put the air conditioner on and off.
I hear God of English telling me, "You can do it, you can do it." He always gives me directions on what to do when I feel lost. On how to learn English, how to speak more effectively, and even on how to make friends with foreigners. I knew the truth through his voice. I'm really grateful for what you've done, God of English.....
I didn't know American national basketball team had lost the first match. And they narroly beat Greece. Considering the original dream team was really invincible, the American team this time seems like some NBA players-not all of them first rate- were chosen to go to Athen. If America can't get a gold medal, people in the world will no longer look up to them as the best of all the basketball players.
I like reading both written in English or Japanese.
Let me introduce a book I've recently read. Its title is Genya−if derectly translated it means a shadowy night- whose author is Keigo Higashino, one of the most popular writer in Japan. The story begins when a devastating earth quake hit Kobe, or what's called Hanshin-daishinsai. One of the two main characters(a woman) goes up the staircase to success, while the other(a man) walks his way through the very darkness. What interest me most is how the woman deceives the man into doing horrible things including murder.. Her appearance maybe superbly good but her mind is very ugly. What is life? She lives to earn big money? Only money can make her happy? In order to achieve her goal, she does whatever it takes to be successful.
i gotta get my pc back from the shop and re-install windows XP after completely formatting the hard disk because my pc has been infected by viruses. i hate to do it. it takes a long time.
I see your point. Even installing OS takes a lot of time. What's more, you have to go to the shop to get your PC back! What a hassle it will be. Hang in there.
Um, do you know of a pitcher who belongs to the U.S softball team? I don't remember her name. But she's so cute that she was picked out as something like the beautiful American girls award in 2004- sorry the award name doesn't come to mind. I can't get her out of my head.
>>135 It is very difficult question for me... do you know maiko saito. she is a freshwoman like momotaro worrior's daughter. she may be a big and important announcer to Fuji just like ayapan. she is promising
>>137 I'm afraid the name doesn't ring a bell with me.. But Momoko has her backed up by her very famous father, right? Think Momoko's more promising, whatever Maiko will do.
>>139 Momoko is the actor's daughter? to be sure, connection is very factor for promising future, but she is not beautiful. by the way I hear Ayapan's father is also actor. but I don't know his name. you can see Maiko Saito in the homepage of Fuji TV
An Agis ship from the US military supposed to come to Niigata tomorrow is bring to a stop bacause of, what they say is, a typhoon approaching. But the fact is likely to be that since there has been a campaign against US military by the locals. By the way, I wish I could see the ship.
i have to please her again tonight. men tend to be tired of making sex with the same woman. on the other hand women want to love only one same man. so i have to be patient, cuz i still love her. sexual desire and love are not always same.
Whenever he fails, he always blames others. He can never make progress in anything. But I feel a pity for him. Maybe he was spoiled by his parents when he was a child.
oh sorry mam. i'm nowhere kids. ouch! oh dad! it's really hurt! that's domestic violence! oh ho! ouch! sorry, sorry dad! i'm--i'm not kid. actually,29years old. but i think, i have a chance still more ouch! ho! sorry dad! in fact,i have neither dream nor hope. oh don't cry dad. please. i understand your mind. ouch! oh! stop! dad!
tow worlds collide rival nations it s a primitive clash venting yeas of trustrations vravely hope against all hope there is so much at stake seems our freedom s up against the ropes does the crowd understand? is it east versus west or man against man can any naition stand alone.
I'm shocked and really disappointed at Kousei Inoue's devastating defeat. Now I want him to entry into the world of professional martial arts like PRIDE.
"NOW...COME ON! the REAL MAN!!" by Nobuhiko Takada
I think Inoue should take part in Pride. He may be stronger then Ogawa.
Akebono is too weak. Everyone knows this. But what a fanny thing is that he demand for a fight against K-1 champion. This makes me laugh. I must know where he is standing now.
Akebono is getting stronger. Don't you see the latest k-1 match in which he showed us his possibility of becoming the No1 K-1 fighter? If he gets in good shape before he fights, the former Yokozuna will beat the next opponent.
Today I had to pay a ridiculous sum of money for schoolbooks. Farewell, hard-earned money~ Mabey I'll quit school and become a full-time professional wrestler. Only problem is, I can't wrestle. So there goes that idea ... -_-
"The parabola that a release move backward over the bar with two somersaults and a full twist describes is going to be a bridge to a glory!" made me moved.
Maki Tsukada did it! She may be stronger than Akebono who stupidly says "I may transfer to PRIDE if there are only too passive opponents in K-1" This time, he might be killed!
Some think Akebono did not lose enough of his weight to go into K-1. I, for one, am thinking they are stupid. What brought him the Yokozuna title? He was mentally awake and physically strong, that's way. And he has the stuffs in him even now. He can rise again and again, even if he finds himself getting weak little by little, day by day... It's something like Samurai. So I respect him.
>>246 Nobody sprung to mind.. But I think an American softball pitcher is vvveeeery beautiful, as I wrote somewhere in this message system. Please see her. You'll be enchanted!
This Olympic is like a moratorium, in a sense, for me who's out of work now. I can miss the mental conflict while getting involved in the Olympic heat. But it is getting closer to the end....alas.
What's your way of learning English? What do you do to improve your writing?
I mean to say not only whether you write in English more or less correctly, but also whether you can think in English without Japanese language to your mind at all, which means it doesn't take so much time for you to say or write English.
Some say read more and write more, then your English will improve. Of course, what they say makes sense. But they don't tell us how. I personally think if there's no strategy how to study, there's no getting your English improved.
>>266 Oh, really? Good for you! I wanted it, too. But I felt asleep in spite of myself after the dawn of the day. When I got up, no, it's too bad, I failed to watch the boxing match of Okamura versus Gushiken. I heard the match was moving to a lot of viewers. How did you find it? Did you feel the same way?
>>268 it is little fun for me to watch that match Okamura vs Gushiken because Gushiken was a champion, Okamura is simply amateur.so Gushiken was not able to fight sincerely but I think Okamura is one of best entertainer in Japan.
>>270 >Okamura is one of best entertainer in Japan I couldn't agree more! In fact, I personally think he's the best of all comedians in Japan. I'm a big fan of him. So it's shame that I missed the match...
to my surprise i was able to repair my brokne pc by using the boot disk of windows 98. the scandisk of windows 98 could repair the broken parts of the hardisk.
I just installed and tried running the Ad-aware, a famous spyware remover. Surprisingly, hundreds of suspicious programs were found! My PC started working more comfortable than before after I removed all of them, as if it had developed performance of its CPU. I recommend you to try once.
it's horrible. again my pc reboots as soon as the destop appears. again virus. i can't believe it, cuz i installed norton yesterday. but drive copy plus is useful. it could repair this problem. but i'm afraid of connecting the net.
I've just read Japanese comics translateted into English. The books' auther is Toriyama Akira. It was fun. I want to thank the guy who showed me where I could download the comics for free.
I guess maybe that's because of a virus. If the time between reboots has the same length, it is most suspected. You should go to symantec site and download vaccine. Then the problem will be solved.
>>296 I think the ADSL has nothing to do with the trouble. It may be a kind of software that makes work harmful sayware(not virus) by rebooting your PC. why don't you try the Ad-aware I tried the other day before intializing. It's available to download free.
>>299 I'm not 299. But one day I switched on my PC, and clicked the Internet Exproler icon to bring up the browser, I noticed some advertisement pop up. That said "your pc is infected" and "I recommend you remove ad wares. Damn!! It's irritating! Why can it say such a rubbish? It is the ad ware that infected my PC!
>>302 Update your Windows. Install an anti-virus software, Spybot and/or Ad-aware, and scan your disk with them. Fix problems if they find malicious files. ...These procedure is rather a norm when we use WinXP now, I feel.
i'm 296. thank you for giving me a lot of useful information. I checked virus by using anti-virus softwares including Ad-aware. but any viruses were not found. but after i watched dvd, my pc shut down. i checked my pc again and thouht that it may have come from the bad connection of power supply cable. if it is so, i might have made a big mistake. i re-inserted the power supply cable tightly and precisely, and now my pc works well.
>>307 You gave us a false alarm! But it was a good lesson for me. It's just like, what they say, "The lighthouse does not shine on its base." And I learned how we miss the elements, or ground zero.
Do you know the American basketball natinal team lost again? I can't believe it. How did that happen? They belong to the world best basketball league!! NBA!! What a devastating result!
Let me tell you how great Ogawa is. On the first round of PRIDE 2004, he beat Stephen Reco in a minute, though Stephen is a famous K-1 fighter. It's as if Ogawa fighted against a child. And then the second match, the great Judo wrestler Ogawa won against Giant Shuba( Sorry, I don't know how to spell out his name correctly). Ogawa pushed the Giant down backwards, got on him, and beat him up. He's veeeeeeeeery strong.
You must realize the fact of real fight. It doesn't necessarily go as you hopefuly expected like pro-wrestling. See? Even Inoue Kousei and Hamaguchi Kyoko have lost.
i formated my pc again, and finished the recovery, but did not connect to the internet so that any viruses could never come into my pc. but to my surprise my pc automatically tried to access the internet, and after all shut down. i cannot believe it. my pc seems to be really alive. i formated the harddisk and never installed adsl this time. how can the virus came into my pc? if anyone guesses, please let me know. it's beyond my understanding.
>>340 Think it was good for Nogeira the game was put off because he fighted much too long before the final match while Fedor knocked Ogawa down in a sec.
I wonder why so many people accessing to this message system only write in Japanese? Please! What they say sounds unconvincing, whatever they say is good for learning English, if they can't even write in English. Do you think so?
They often say "why-did-you-write-in-English?" or "you're-wrong" kind of things in Japanese when someone writes in English, and as you may think, most of them can't write back in English. What a funny.
>>337, 349, 350 Thank you for your consideration. my pc is a monster pc. it's getting funny. i didn't have time to take it to the shop. i'm gonna take it this saturday.
Speaking of spirits, I reminded that yesterday when I was keeping a diary on the Words, its words suddenly started to delete automatically like crazy. There was no way to stop it, so I was upset and forced to shut it down. What the hell was that? That happens sometimes to my PC. It MUST be...an evil spirit!
i installed the fire wall and anti-virus soft. but it took a long time to open some websites. and especially some english sites i ofen enjoyed could not be open. even NHK Internaional news could not start because of the anti-virus softs. after all i uninstalled the software.
how is the baseball game going? i got no TV here in my room. i guess japan is doing all right. i know canada is too weak i watched the previous game with canada. if you know something about the game, just lemme know...
If you add an extra memory, say, another 256mb, some Sotec PCs become unstable. It is written on Sotec's website. You can download some modified programs so that the PCs become stable even after adding an extra memory.
I thought the casketball game broadcast was Japan versus what other country Japan hadn't had a game with. But it's America versus Greece. So I decided not to watch it.
>>371 I don't know which one is best. Mine is IBM. It is somewhat durable, compared to the Toshiba's one which I bought 3 years or 4 ago but lasted 2 years..
I just heard "Casketball"for the first time in my life. What type of game is that? Does it use a jewel box instead of a ball? ...Sorry I'm tripping you up.
You are a child of God. Before you were born, you lived as a spirit with God, your Heavenly Father. You came to Earth to learn to be more like God. When your life on Earth is over, you can return to live with your Heavenly Father
Two Russian planes crashed almost simultaneously, killing 88 people on board. Both planes left the same airport in Moscow, lost contact almost simultaneously. The Russian government is investigating the case, suspecting terrorism.
today many high school girls wear a very short skirt. it's nice for men's eyes. but i wonder why they are not ashamed of wearing such a short skirt. they want us to look at their legs. but why? ugly girls should wear a long skirt.
>>380 I understand what you mean. I heard the Russian government became more strict on the media. So it's not certain that they will get the fact of the terrorism open to people in the world.
>>381 That's not what I meant. Mr.384 summed it up well. Even if the terrosists are responsible for the crush, I thought Moscow doesn't want to open that to the world if possible because they don't like to expose themselves the weakness of their security.
>>384 It may be Volk Han who's feeling more sad than Fedor. Where the plane crushed is just where he has his own combat school. Anyway, what is he doing now??
i've realized that i was not lucky in life. in the past i though i was a lucky person. i might have been wrong. if i were there, i could enjoy more free time now.
>>393 I've heard that NULLPO...stands for Null-Point-Exception, one of the computer error messages in Java program which shows up when a meaningless row appears on PC. Consequently, people in 2ch now come to use the word NULLPO to express "A total nothing" or "Nonsense"
I read on this message system that GE is the very best way of learning English. And the new generation of GE, which is called G.E.NETWORK, recommends you study English by watching DVDs,reading a lot of books, along with shun-nou-kassei-eitanngo and VSOP, all done in 1.5 times speeds. I think if you try it hard, you'll sure become an absolutely good English-speaker! Why don't we do it?
Someone in another thread told me all the fifth elements of GE has their representatives like †KEN† prefers DVDs (but he seems to have given them up now). So it sounded very tough to me to get yourself a master of GE!! But I'll try it and get the hang of English!!
I didn't know about GE, and I already am an average English speaker. But as I looked at the method that KEN recommends, I found that I was doing it already! I would say GE is the most effective and efficient method that mankind has ever created throughout the entire history of universe.
>>402 Are you the one who taught me what GE was comprised of? In the thread we talked about GE?
Well, anyway you studied GE before its method is open to every leaner of English? It seems to me GE is a jumble of every English-learning method concievable. So it sounded hard for me to learn English. What have you ever been doing with the GE method?
>>403 1 I was using DVDs to learn some phrases. 2 I was using some English softwares to memorize English words though I didn't particularly use Shunno-Kassei-Eitango. 3 I read hundreds of English books, including picture books for kids, paperbacks, and books for college students. 4 I tried listening to English speeches which are more than 3 times faster than normal speed.
>>407 I'd say about 9 years since I got into college... Before DVDs are around, I was using movie videos. One thing that should be mentioned here is that GE method is excellent because it's both traditional and brand-new. It contains every method which already exists but does not go after any of them.
there are a lot of people who are studying Egnlish watching DVDs. Even Hasegawa, a baseball player or the former K-1 fighter Kakuta also published a book in which they emphasize the importance of watching DVDs. So there is nothing new in studying English by using DVDs.
>>413 You sure got GE wrong. It's not GE. You want to read what >>405 wrote. That's the GE!! Though using DVDs is part of GE, you must read a lot of books, try PC softwares, blah-blah-blah.
We are to respect and care for our bodies. A healthy lifestyle promotes a sense of well-being. Exercise, eating and sleeping properly, a cheerful attitude, all contribute to our happiness.
By making choices and experiencing their consequences, you learn the difference between good and evil. As you learn to choose good, you find greater happiness.
The choices you make affect not only yourself, but others as well. You may benefit from someone’s good choice, and someone may suffer from a bad choice that you make.
†KEN† the Heavenly Father respects you if you choose his GE method to study English. He will never force anyone to choose GE, nor will He stop anyone from making wrong choices.
I personally think if you choose a wrong choice, you won't even get used to English, though.
In the long run I've got into the later part in my life. I don't know how long I can live, but I feel very sad now. In a sense I feel envious of young people. Nobody can control age. Many things I couldn't do in my younger days are coming to my mind now. I should've done such and such, but it's too late now. In general my life is not bad, rather very good, but I don't know why I've had a deep feeling of sadness recently. I really want young people to strive hard for their goal, otherwise they may go in the bad direction in late middle age.
>>443 Hey, cheer up! Let me introduce somewhat famous Japanese saying to you: There's a lot to learn even for people in their 40s and 50s! That's what I translated. Originally, 40,50wa hanatare-kozou.
a russian government says the two plane crashes were likely caused by mid-air explosions. the pilot of one plane triggered a hijack alert, just before it crashed. security bureau officials say it could be an act of terrorism. but they have not ruled out human or technical error.
>>445 Both of them crashed because of human or technical error? Cut it out!! What they said sounds wierd to me. On the other hand, terrorism made sense..
To someone who love Dragon Ball, let me tell tell you something intersting! I just heard on TV that the story of Son Goku would be a film. I'm not certain when the film will be open, who the actors will be, and how good the movie can be, though.
>>448 Now that you mention it, "Shall we dance?" , one of the world-famous Japanese movies, is going to be remade by Hallywood movie staff. That sounds good to me. I think the quality of Japanese movies is so great that Hallywood couldn't ignore them.
I want to talk about how to study English. What I have in mind is "shadowing", which has recently gotten popular among learners of English in Japan-it may be called tadem reading in the States. Shadowing needs people to concentrate on both sounds and meanings of English so intently that you have to be somewhat used to the language before you try it. Some of the people who tried the method say it's a good way to learn English. And I agree with them. Why don't you try it if you want to boost your lisning and speaking skills?
my brother is very weak-minded. He is a heavy debtor, that is, having multiple debts.after all he has gone to a loan shark. Now he is having troubles repaying debts to consumer credit companies. he asked me to be his guarantor, but i didn't agree, because he is sick. a foolish person cannot get over his foolishness until he dies. i think this proverb is true.
>>451 Lady, how much money have you given him? It seems to me you can't give him up. If you try to talk him out of spending too much money, he can't grow out of the habit.
What do you want to do about him next? If he ask you to once more?
i like midnight, but have to get up before seven as long as i work for the present company. i want to change jobs so that i can sleep until noon. but it's a dream. because such a job is usually very hard. i cannot continue it. life is not easy. maybe giving something up is very important in our life.
This story began a long time ago, when evil monstors suddenly appeared on the earth, killing a lot of people. There were four kingdoms on each continent-one of them is Japanomenia. The king called in fighters, wizards, and anyone who wanted to fight it out against the monstors. It seemed, however, the human beings ended up losing to them. After the monster almost dominated Japanomenia, a boy called Yamato standed up against the forces of darkness. He was the slayer.
Yamato was 16 years old, lived a usual life until one of the monstors cast a shadow over his residence by killing his father and mother. He decided to revenge the one who made his life full of saddness. "Dad, mom, I will make the monster pay for what it did!! I won't forgive it!" said Yamato in his head.
It was a while before he noticed Megumi, a girl who lived next to his house, were taken to somewhere he didn't know maybe by the evil monstor―his foe. "Hey, where was Megumi taken to?" Yamato asked her mother, who replied "Nope, I don't know.. The monster. It took her. Oh, what can I do. Please, please save her from it." Yamato said, " Damn! I hate it. My mom and dad killed,". Then one thing came to his mind. "I'm going to see the Japanomenia king to get what I'm supposed to do," he drawled in spite of his anger.
Then Yamato got back to his house, though it had been badly destroyed to wreck. He made his way to where there should have been his own room, found his drawer, and rummaged through it to look for a small sword his father had gave to Yamato on his birthday this year. "Right," he said, getting out of there. "I'll kill the filthy monstor and bring her back home ," he told Megumi's mother. In his head full of hatred, Yamato headed for the castle of Japanomenia.
He walked on and on, went through some villages, found a lot of people wailing because of evil monstors destroying their house and killig their family members. "It's devastating..."he thought. Several days' worth of walk took him to a small town where he decided to take a rest.He went into an inn and asked the master," there haven't appeared any monstor yet? This town looks safe". The master replied,"No, not yet, but I don't know when any of them will come to break it down here." Yamato fell a sleep in a bed of the inn before the town reverberated with a fierce, horrible roar. He got up with a start."What? What happened?" he said, and got out of his room. "A monstor! A big winged cat-like one!" shouted the master of the inn. Yamato felt his blood coming up to his brain, thinking "I'll kill the monstor," and asked him "Where is it now?". He said in a hush, terrified voice,"I heard the roar in the center of the town. What are you up to? Don't do anything silly. It's dangerous!" Yamato ignored him and dashed to the place.
The cat-like monster was pacing back and forth around a fountain at the center of the town. "Ghaaaa!!!sheeeeeeee!" snarled the monster, whose malicious yellow eyes were ball-like and in them run vertical slits of black. It was huge and mud-brown. Yamato faced it before he got a strong hold of the hilt of his sword. He pulled the weapon from the scabbard, brandished it, but missed hitting the big cat, which in turn opened its mouth and blew out a snow storm. Yamato tried to dodged the stuff but got his right knee somewhat frozen. " Shit!" he shouted. It sneered and tried to rounded on him. Yamato got his eyes shut, feeling he would be killed. Then a voice echoed in there. "What the...?" Yamato thought, before a burning fire was shot from somewhere and the winged monster was burned to ash. He noticed a girl standing on the brink of the fountain, smilling at him.
She was a dimpled, charming girl and came close to him. "Hi, how's it going? Are you...?" she said. "Yamato. Um, thank you," he answered in a confused voice. "Oh, Yamato. Cute name. I'm Saki." said the girl. He found her in red and brown robe with a short wand in her hand. "Are you a witch?" said he, looking awe-struck because he's never seen such kind of person. "Of course, I am," Saki told him in amusement, " Never seen one? Anyway, you looks like you're a fighter, right?" "I am. I want to beat up monsters because of my vengence gig, so I decided to meet the king of Japanomenia." he said as if he talked to himself. "That sounds good. I am going to the chastle, too. how about if we go there together?" Saki said happily. "No. It's a pain to protect you." he replied. "What're you talking about? If I hadn't been here, you would be dead now." Saki said indignantly. Yamato felt as if a big rock hit his head and said, "Um, you're right, but..." "Deal! Let's go!" said the girl.
Someday, like everyone else, your life on Earth will end and your physical body will die. But your spirit will not die. At the time of physical death, your spirit will go to the spirit world, where you will continue to learn and progress.
In this world, death looks like an end. But it is another beginning. After a time, your body and your spirit will be reunited, never again to be separated. This is called resurrection.
Dead leaves have started falling down. I miss the summer. I hate the autumn to come so early. Because I won't be able to excuse anymore for not doing job hunting .
The Security Service found traces of an explosive called hexogen in the wreckage. Hexogen was used in the bombing of an apartment complex in Moscow in 1999. The Security Service also revealed that each of the downed airliners' passenger lists included the names of Chechen women whose relatives have not yet come forward. Authorities are checking the two women's backgrounds to see whether they could have been involved in the crashes.
everything is bad. after meeting him, i fell into bad luck. he is so called the guy who brings bad luck to other people. if he dies, everything may get better. i feel a pity for the persons who can do only jokes.
i took my monster pc to the shop after all. all clerks in the shop were very shocked to see the strange reaction on my pc screen. and they couldn't do anything about it, deciding to exchange it for a new pc. so i'm gonna go to the shop tomorrow. i'll never buy sotec, but i wonder what maker would be the best.
the olympic hammer throw champion, annus didn't show up for a drug test before the doping control official so that he might lose his gold medal. his name, annus is a little dangerous. don't misspell.
the number of violent acts committed by elementary school kids reached a record high in academic year 2003, up 27.6% from the previous school year. kids must have been posting a lot even in 2-chan.
the baseball players association filed with the tokyo district court for an injunction against the planned merger between O and K. i'm sad to hear that. the profit is the most important for the owners, but it is sure that the popularity of the professional baseball has started to fade somewhat.
questions and answers thread is always on the top of the list, that is, near this thread. so it's no wonder some bugs are jumping into this thread. metaphorical words may be good for them.
>>575 True. You are surprised by the sound as the critical ones were detected, aren't you? By the way, I wonder what the difference is between spyware and computer virus.
i feel good.every time i turn on the TV, the japanese are winning olympic medals tachibana and takeda got the silver medal in the synchronized swimming duet final
You know,it is today that murofushi's medal color will be determined. I think Abusyu maybe will be deprived of his gold medal. I can't understand his idea that he will drop out the sport just because he are being doubted his innocence. If he is really innocence and he loves the sport, he must be contenue playing it and next olympic he must try to get a gold medal, which isn't so difficult for him.
just after installing surfernet player, internet radio, i checked spywares using ad-aware. it was found that 17 criticals objects came into my pc. but what is tracking or cnsmin or regkey? anybody knows? ca
Tokyo public prosecutors have arrested an accounting manager of Hashimoto faction's organization. He got the check for 100 million yen for Mr Hashimoto, and cashed the check, putting the money in a safe in the office , but didn’t offically report it. It seems almost impossible for Us trust politicians about money matters. In a sense there is something common between politicians and con artists.
My mother thinks that I don't understand others' feelings. But I guess she means by this a very deep sense of "reading others' mind". She meant "a sense of guessing what people are thinking" peculiar to Japanese people. I don't have that kind of consideration since I was born. And it seems that that's what Japanese people have already lost in our generation. I always felt that I lacked it when I was little, and was concerned that I was a bit weired person in this country. But now I know that everyone has lost such ability, and I don't have to worry about it. However, still, people have to have something in common to communicate their ideas with each other smoothly. I think this is a common law which governs people in every country and every culture. As a child, I remember I was always left out alone in every situation. I think I need to at least keep the bottom line.
Saki started walking several steps ahead of Yamato. "Heeey, let me ask, Saki. How come you want to see the king?" he said loudly. "Um, it's a long story. But to make it short, it's money," she replied. "Money? What for?" "That's a personal question. Well, anyway, I just want to apply for the job the king gives to any Japanomenian in order to annihilate the monsters that has hit the kingdom." "Um, ok." said Yamato. ※ "What are you doing here?" a man heard someone ask him a question. "Oh, Spin, just looking up to the sky..." he answered to the man called Spin. There were a lot of buildings around there. They were so up-to-date that you couldn't think it was in the same era as Yamato's that Spin and Jack( who was the man who looked up to the sky) lived. " Hurry back to the laboratory. No wonder our boss will get angry," Spin said to jack, who replied, " In a minute."
Ar last Yamato and Saki reached the big town where the castle of Japanomenia stood. The town was sorrounded a huge wall to deffend itself from any intruders- mainly monsters. "So that's the castle town," they said. They looked for the entrance to the town and found several soldiers stood guard there. "Pardon us. We'd like to see the king" Saki spoke to one of them. "What do you want with the king for?" he said. "To apply for the soldiership." Saki replied impatiently. " A girl and a sissy boy work for the king? Kidding?" the soldier said. Then a fire was shot from Saki's wand. It hit the wall very close to the man, who looked too horrified to say a word any more. " Can we come in?" asked Saki, and she and Yamato walked in. Yamato felt like he was lucky he was her friend..
i was able to got home much ealier than usual because of the typhoon coming close to our area. i feel i'm lucky. but what should i do other than reading 2-chan. maybe i'l copy my old files.
>>592 You are likely to be my troublesome friend. He looks intelligent and in fact talks reasonably. But once he feels a bit of stress, he suddenly turns to be very selfish and egoistic, speaking endlessly, one-sidedly how he is right and thoughtful of everything. I think he is typical of a spoiled single child. But you are not, because you have well analyzed the weakness of yourself.

Kazuhide Uekusa, the former Waseda Univ professor, arrested for trying to look up a high school student’s skirt with a mirror on an escalator, explained that he always carried a hand mirror with him to check his clothing because he often makes TV appearances. How many people believe this or that he is innocent?
The former chairman of the Japan Dental Association gave a huge political donation to former prime minister Ryutaro Hashimoto. Mr Usuda said that he wanted to improve or patch up their relations, and seek his support for the association.. Mr Hashimoto resigned as head of the faction after the donation scandal surfaced. I didn't think that Mr H would do such a thing. After all most of the politicians make it a rule to deceive ordinal people. Or is he also innocent? Which person can you trust more, Uekusa or Hashimoto?
four months have passed since i began to work for a present company. not so bad, better condition than before, but something is lacking, i feel. maybe i have to get up early, i don't like it. i can sleep only three hours.
I wonder why people here use the word "native". I've never ever heard "Natives" (so-called) say "I'm a native speaker of English". If someone says "I can speak English like a native", I believe he/she definitely can NOT speak English. Am I right?
"Do you think the king of Japanomenia is available now?" Yamato asked Saki, looking a bit worried. "Yep. Let's get in the castle," she answered briskly.
The town was bigger than they thought, so it took long to get to the entrance of the castle which was huge and magnificent, on top of which were pinnacles bearing the Japanomenian national flags-white clothing fabric embroidered with a burning red fire.
Yamato and Saki asked a soldier who kept an eye on people entering the castle whether they could meet the king because of their desire to fight against monsters, and the guardian let them in. They proceeded to a staircase leading to the king's room, feeling a bit nervous before they saw the king himself, who looked a little tired but nice to them.
"Your highness, we would like to fight monsters, demons, or whatever threatens our world. Would it be possible for you to let us know what we should do and where we should go?" Yamato asked the king reverentially. "We also need enough money to do it." Saki added. The king smiled and said, " Welcome, both of you. I'll let you get enough money. And as you know, our world is now faced with an unprecedented danger we've ever had. I have employed so many fighters as I can. It seems, however, that they ended up in failure so far. A lot of guys died... So why did you make up your mind to fight the monsters? They are too strong." "Because I have to. My friend was taken somewhere by a monster. I need to save her." Yamato replied. "Oh, that's miserable..But why did it do that? I know monsters usually kill anyone. What did the monster kidnap her for?" the king said as if he talked to himself. "Well, anyway, monsters live in the north of Ameriburg, where a thick forest spreads there. At first you need to get to a town called Rubeca where you can get on any ship bound for Ameriburg. I hope you can make it." the king told them.
After they got out of the room, they were given 1000 zenis- zeni is the money for their world. "Let's look for an inn, and take a rest." Saki said. "Ok. Um, do you know what Ameriburg is, by the way?" Yamato asked her in a muffled voice. "Oh, didn't you know? It's another kingdom in the world. It's situated in the center of the Amery continent. The king said we had to meet the king of Ameriburg as soon as we got to the kingdom.Remember?" Saki taught him.
don't put up only stories somebody else made. too good is often bad. others will try to keep you away. it's a Japanese way, be good or bad. even italians say, do as romans do while you are in roma. there seems to be some similarity between italians and japanese.
window type ac is not so good. it was broken only one year after i bought. it's still hot, but not so. if i have it repaired, it'll be expensive. i should put up with the heat this month.
his wife is very beautiful, though he is not good-looking. he may have something wonderful that is not visible on the outside. anyhow, as i'm addicted to pcs, my horniess is wearing off, i'm afraid i can't get married
i think we, japanese tend to tell others what we think they want to hear, in order not to hurt others' feelings, whether or not it is true. but where did this tendency come from? I enjoy people's postings here.
if you try to get closer to a woman, as is often the case she will try keep away from you. rather you have to make her get closer to you. but easier said than done
If you want to make a girl friend, at first be listen to her from the heart,(but don't speak from the heart). the "let's just be friends first" approach would be workable.
watching dvds may be one of the best ways to improve our english skills. with english subtitles on, we can know precisely what actors or actress are saying. we can learn a lot of expressions in real conversations. but it's not so easy to continue this method. it would be only advanced level learners that can continue learning english by watching dvds.
I see. watching dvds is the good way to make my english ability higher. I must do it. My method of studying english is watching youmonoAV and ERO-book.
>>678 The method is called GE, the old version of GE. I think a lot of former GE supporters noticed the old method needed improving in order to learn English more effectively. At long last, they developed the ultimate version of GE. Don't miss it.

Russian special forces freed a lot of hostages from a school. But fighting with hostage takers broke out, for which more than 100 people were killed and over 300 injured. Terrorists want to change the world, but it seems to me that they want to make a chaotic world.
Let our voices be heard. I hope they will not be shrill voices, but I hope that we shall speak with such conviction that those to whom we speak shall know of the strength of our feeling and the sincerity of our effort.
Our bodies are gifts from God. The Lord has commanded us to keep our bodies and minds healthy (I Corinthians 3:16-17). By doing this, we are better able to take care of our own needs and serve others.
"Age" and "sage" here in this message system are some kind of slangs in Japanese, though using alphabet. They means "up" and "down" respectively. So please don't be confused when you see them.

Before that, Why does Jesus not help me get rid of the evil sprits inside of me? It gives me so much pain. I hope He comes before me and takes them and my pain away. How can I get Him? I need Him ASAP. They speak wicked language using my mouth. They don't stop talking all day long. Four years have passed since I got into this situation. Will someone at church help me?

you cannot start windows from only CD rom basis. similar statements have been published in various pc magazines. but I've known the way to make a bootable cd rom based on windows on the Net. after a system crash windows frequently doesn't even start up anymore, and this puts the restore program out of reach. in that case a bootable cd r which can run windows xp can really be useful. this windows can use pc card slots, and so we can rescue a lot of files by moving them into compact flash or something like that.

i have to find something i can enjoy doing, otherise i'm too bored. even my sexual desire is getting weaker than before. i spent too much time in front of a pc, so my sexual organs might have been damaged. lol
Yeah, i can relate. to recover the sexual desire, i hit upon an idea. you should eye lewdly every girl or woman you see everytime everywhere. i think that's a good way to improve your fading brain function.
The owners of professional baseball teams in Japan have decided to keep the two-league system next season. The Central League will consist of the current six teams, while the Pacific League will comprise five teams, as a result of the planned merger of two Pacific teams -- the Orix BlueWave and the Kintetsu Buffaloes. Many are losing interest in Japan's professional baseball. Now I'm most interested in Ichiro in the Major League. He may become the official major league record holder.
i experienced burnout. when i have to take heavy responsibility or have a lot of important work, i always feel too much stress. and after all i cann't do anything. rather i'd say i feel like doing nothing. that's why i was not promoted at my company. today i got a really important job, and i left office much earlier than usual. now i'm reading 2-chan. i'll be a rank-and-file employee for ever. but i would rather do what i want than only work for my comany to get a promotion. that may be sour grapes, though.
Jesus’ example teaches us how to love God and other people. He lived a blameless life, a life without sin. He invites all people to follow Him (John 12:26).
The Devil used to be a spritual child of God and an angel. But he became rebelious to God and was thrown out of Heaven. Since then he try to make human beings miserable like him.
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. in tokyoake city in aichi prefecture three children and their mother were killed. this is a really unbelivable news. i live near the place. i was so schocked. the town people are very kind and nice. the criminal may be living outside the town.
I had suffered from an attack by a Japanese cult related to Buddhism for a long time. Originally I didn't have any prejudice toward religion, however, thanks to that, now I hate religions all around.
>>882 Japanese cults are not religion. Actually they are kinds of terrorist, mafia. The most important thing is to teach school kids morality. Acquisition of the knowledge about religions is meaningless.
>>893 In junior high and high school we learn the world history. There are three major religions. Christianity, Islam and Buddhism. But they have many sub categories. Religious conflicts are quite common in the world. Etc.
it's good to go to bed early and get up early in the morning. linux is also useful, but i couldn't install a real player, which is fatal for me to use, cuz i cannot listen to the net radios in the u.s.
in a sense religious people are dangerous, so they have to be careful about their faith. It cannot be masturbation. it is islam fundamentalists that killed innocent children so easily in an elementary school in russia. also moslems and christians are always fighting and killing each other in Gaza strip. we often hear the news about terrorists attack which is based on their religious beliefs. of course there would be a lot of good religious people in the world, but it is also true that there are quite a few religious people who threatens our society.
i was too sensitive to her, which made me tired. she is too childish, so i always have to be careful. she says, 'don't worry", but it's impossible, cuz you are a child.

according to kyodo poll, 53% support and 35% are against postal privatization. i have savings and pension plan at a post office. i feel a little worried about privatization. staffs at post offices are now government employees, and will be non-governmental employees in the near future. they must have studied for the civil servant exam.
i wanna find something that i can commit myself to. these days i don't feel like doing anything. i may be living through inertia. i wanna break down customs perpetuated by inertia.
Last week I went to S Korea. I had a kind of dangerous experience. When I strolled the crowded shopping street in Seoul. A Korean woman bumped into me. I said to her "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't see you." in English. Actually I thought I had to say an apology to her, but unfortunately I can't speak Korean at all. And I thought in this situation Korean is the best, but English is better than Japanese. To my surprised she replied in Japanese. "Are you Japanese? Now I am studying Japanese. I want to make a Japanese friend. I don't have a bad feeling to Japanese at all. And so on." She asked me if you had a time, let's go to the coffee shop.
>>928 What dangerous? it sounds a happy experience for me. You meant it as a beginning of love affair that's unforgiven, that might turn out to be a tragedy? Or you thought she was trying to cheat you?
i feel some stiffness in the part between my thumb and index finger. it's getting worse, i scrached her part too much last night. it may be the reason.
>>933 maybe you love masturbating, but i love a real woman. it takes longer for my girlfriend to come these days. if woman gest used to some stimulus, she wants stronger stimulus. actually i have pain in my lower back, too.
Mr Paek denied reports that the explosion was part of a nuclear test. He said the explosion was caused by a demolition of a mountain to build a hydroelectric power plant. Ichiro made a hit for the first time in three games Sunday. He went 2-for-4 in the game and moved within 26 hits of tying George Sisler's single-season hits record. Also he raised his batting average to .374.
From<<928 We went to the nearby coffee shop, and talk each other. It was my first time to visit S Korea. I was a little bid interested in communicate with the Korea woman. She started to talk about personal matter. She had a boyfriend, but recently she found out he has another girlfriend. She asked him to explain the situation, But he didn't admit his fault and tried to cover up. After that she decided to part from him. This kind of story is quite common in Japan. Japan and South Korea are countries of Confucianism. I thought the sentiment between man and woman in Korean is quite similar to that in Japanese. Finery she said she didn't want to go home tonight, She want to go to my hotel room.
Is that Mira Jobovicci you're talking about? Well, I felt she's rather cute than beautiful. The story itself was not so good but she did great performance in fighting scenes.
it's very difficult to read woman's mind. i don't know why they are attracted not a good man but to a little bad man. maybe woman's looks are to the man what man's money is to the woman. what would be man's attractivenss?
don't say that was a copy. when it comes to writing, english is so difficult. nothing would be harder than mastering a foreign language. reading is to the mind what food is to the body. no other way is more useful than ge to master english.

are the women who are still sinle over thirty losers? on another thread they are talking about it. the women who graduated from a high-ranking university tend to be single. in a sense they are losers, but if they are really satisfied with their job or life, they are winners. but the problem is whether they are really satified with their life without getting married. but i've been wondering whether the men who are married are really satisfied with their life.
