If you are like me, then there is someone close to you, someone in your family, maybe, who can't tell a joke. With me it is my poor mother, whose fine sense of humor is evident only in that she appreciates being made to laugh. She is quick to understand irony, and shows immediate delight when she is surprised by a humorous twist. ↑ここまではわかったんですが、 But let her try and tell a joke or explain an incident that happened to her or that she witnessed, and disaster strikes. この文の訳お願いします。

The fact is, that there was considerable difficulty in inducing Oliver to take upon himself the office of respiration, a troublesome practice, but one which custom has rendered necessary to our easy existence; and for some time he lay gasping on a little flock mattress rather unequeally poised between this world and the next; the balance being decidedly in favour of the latter.
However, what benefits do educators in these nations think students will gain from studying Japanese?
Japan's support for overseas learners of its language has taken various forms to date, including sending teaching specialists overseas and inviting overseas teachers to Japan for training.

Just as the writer must concern himself with the reader's interests and attitudes, so he must concern himself with the reader's training and capacities.
Every piece of writing is addressed to a more or less limited audience.
It is perfectly logical that piece of writing addressed to the specialist will not be understood by the layman.
Articles in professional medical journals or law journals employ a language largely incomprehensible to the ordinary reader.
But the same thing holds true, thought less obviously, inregard to all difference of education or capacity.
The founder of a new colony, whatever Utopia of human virtue and happiness they might originally project, have invariably recognized it among their earliest practical necessities to allot a portion of the prison. In accordance with this rule, it may safely be assumed that the forefathers of Boston had built the first prisonhouse, somewhere in the vicinity of Corn-hill, almost as seasonably as they marked out the first burial-ground, on Isaac Johnson's lot, and round about his grave, which subsequently became the nucleus,...
The scientists look for order in the appearances of nature by exploring likenesses. For order dose not display itself of itself; if it can be said to be there at all, it is not there for the more looking. There is no way of pointing a finger or camera at it; order must be discovered and, in a deep sense, it must be created. What we see as we see it, is mere disorder.
The simplest form in which public opinion presents itself is when a sentiment spontaneously arises in the mind of a man and flows from his lips upon his seeing or hearing something done or said.
If this leads to fewer parents acting hysterically at the first signs of independence from their children and to fewer parents giving up all attempt to communicate with them, it might be somewhat easier for the children to frow up morally.

As I have grown older,I have realized more the importance my grandmother had in molding my outlook on life.
Her fearlessness, her public spirit, her contempt for convention, and her indifference to the opinion of the majority have always seemed good to me and have impressed themselves upon me as worthy of imitation.
She gave me a Bible with her favorite text written on the flyleaf.
Among these was “You shall not follow a multiude to do evil”.
Her emphasis upon this text led ,in later life to be not afraid of belonging to small minorities.
We must bear in mind that it is the defects in personal qualities rather than lack of knowledge which are responsible for failures in life. 入試問題なんですけど。おながいします。

I grew up kissing books and bread. Inour house, whenever anyone dropped a book or let fall a chapati or a ‘slice’, which was our word for a triangle of buttered leavened bread, thefakken object was required not only to be picked up but also kissed, by way ofapology for the act of clumsy disrespect. Iwas as careless and butter-fingered as any child and, accordingly, during my childhood years, I kissed a large number of‘slices' and also my fair share of books.
In March of 1999, a man reported a strange occurrence in northern California. He was driving up Interstate 5 to visit friends in Oregon, and around 10:00 p.m., he took an exit off the highway to see if he could find a place to get some dinner. When he couldn't find a restaurant, he decided to pull onto the side of the road and make do with some snacks he had in the car. After he ate, he dozed off, and was soon awakened by a loud thump. When he got out to investigate, he found a good-sized rock on the hood of his car. He got back behind the wheel, started the car up and turned on the headlights. In the beams, he saw an 8-foot-tall creature covered in thick, dark hair. The creature watched him for a minute, turned in the road and walked slowly off into the woods.

In Britain, there are a number of Sunday newspapers, many of which are connected with the “dailies”, though not run by the same editor and staff.
The Sunday papers are larger than the daily papers and usually contain a greater proportion of articles concerned with comment and general information rather than news.
The national daily and Sunday papers have enormous circulations running into several millions of readers in certain cases.
The economics of newspapers have,in recent years, led to the closing-down of several newspapers;their circulations would have been considered large in many other countries, but they were not enough to guarantee the life of a national newspaper in Britain.

The English language has throughout its history accepted with comparative ease, words from other languages with which it has been in contact;and, though there have been periods during which speakers and, writers of English have made use of foreign words to an extent which we might regard as exaggerated, it is probable that most people will agree that the foreign element in normal English usage has been of value.

On July 17th, 2001, Tito Ortiz was accused of raping a well known male prostitute in the Huntington Beach area. It is reported that Tito forced the male prostitue to strip down, and bend over a trash cart. Tito then rammed in up the back door of the man and didn't stop till police arrived on the scene and used pepper spray to stop the vicious rape. It was also reported that Tito tried to bribe the police to let him go, in return for various sexual favours, not to mention the fact he jerked off all the way to the police station. Tito will probably have to pay for new seat covers since he came all over the back seat of the cop car.

In any matter of which the public has imperfect knowledge, public opinion is as likely to be erroneous as is the opinion of an individual equally uninformed. To hold otherwise is to hold that wisdom can be got by combining many ignorances. A man who knows nothing of algebra cannot be assisted in the solution of an algebraic problem by calling in a neighbour who knows no more than himself, and the solution approved by the unanimous vote of a million such men would count for nothing against that of a competent mathematician.
We can tell from newspaper editorials written at the time that Washington's personal prestige also had much to do with the Constitution's being ratified by the required nine states, for the vote was very close in some states and for a long time the issue was in doubt.

Strange to say,of all these irrational fears, undoubtedly, the strongest and most common one is the fear of speaking in public. Why is it that the simple act of standing in front of a group of people and talking to them for a few minutes should product such astonishing physical reaction? Sometimes just the very thought of having to make a speech is enough to product the symptoms so familiar to most of us:perspiration, dryness in the mouth, difficulty in breathing, accelerated heartbeat, and even shaking of the knees or acute stomach pain. People have been known to faint the moment they step up onto a stage. Little wonder this fear is commonly called “stage-fright”.

★Forgetting, indeed,is not a simple matter. ☆Psychologist will have to devote years of deep study to the matter before they can teach us the art of forgetting. ★Some of the unhappiest people in the world are those who cannot forget injuries inflicted on them in the past. ☆Others are equally miserable because they cannot forget wrongs they have done others. ★Human beings are so made, indeed, that they forget the things they would like to remember, and remember the things they would prefer to forget. ☆The memory should be trained,I think,to overcome both those weaknesses.

@Tracking,whenever conditions are suitable, gives us the opportunity not only to recognize the species of animal that made the tracks, but to build up a picture of its activities. AThis picture will be just as clear, just as accurate,as it would be if we had been present and watched the animal in action. BIndeed, sometimes it may even be more reliable, for the eye can play us tricks. CTracking tells us the truth about animals. DEven when we watch some of the animals that are active by day, their behaviour is not always easy to grasp-for much of it happens so quickly. EBut in order to discover something about an animal's hunting behaviour we so not have to be present while it is hunting.

It would be a delight and pleasure to do something every day, were it ever so minute. To reflect that another human being, if at a distance of ten thousand years from now, would enjoy one hour's more life, in consequence of anything I had done in my little span, would be to me a peace of soul.
Now my air-con isn't fixed yet so the operator let me use another room since yesterday. It's good but not best because it's not comfortable for me. My everything is in one room, and i have to walk to sleep at another and walk back to my own in the morning. The one good thing is I'm not melt...

It is the conviction which the biographer gives his reader of having a vital comprehension of the mind he is dealing with that determines whether his book is really a biography or not.
Our desires, it is true, have considerable power on the earth's surface; the greater part of the land of this planet has quite different aspect from that which it would have if men had not utilized it to extract food and wealth.
The more important a thing is to us the more difficult we find it to cut down our consumption and the less effect do changes in its price have on the amount we buy.
I know that "grace" is considered a good quality in Japan, but don't be afraid to assert yourself either--personality goes a long way. I do think it is very interesting how Japan is trying (and succeeding) at being super-modern, but still holds on to so many traditions..... Personally I think it is impossible, modern society trying to hold onto feudal traditions...but the conflict is interesting
A student comes to a young professor's office after hours. She glances down the hall, closes his door, and says, "I would do anything to pass this exam." She then leans closer to him, flips back her hair, gazes meaningfully into his eyes and says, "I mean, I would do anything."
He returns her gaze, "Anything?"
"Anything," she replies.
His voice softens, "Anything?"
"Anything," she assures.
His voice turns to a whisper, "Would you... study?"
Ina was a breath of fresh air........... very very promising tonight......his first long pass to set up that glorious miss by Boa was rocket speed and inch perfect over 40 yards.....real magic moment...... then a few darting runs like he does but in a straight line and ending with a pass.......... couple of times caught in posesssion....not bad for his first competitive game of the season.... I thought he looked potentially superb for a 22 yr old, loads of energy and adventure in him, and pretty fast too.......might get nocked off the ball/fall over a bit easy, and that obviously will be the thing that decicdes wheyther or not he makes it in the Premiership....... but I thought he was EXACTLY what the team needed.....someone with a bit of directness and adventure........bit like Ray Houghton of old......and AT LAST somone who can float the ball in high at corners and create a bit of aerial panic....... I thought it was a real promising start, and I thought he transformed the whole spirit of the team over on the right there, second half........
Have a seat, Mr. Miyakawa. I'd like to thank you for coming by on such short notice. As Miss Harper probably told you, we're anxious to find the right person for this position, because we consider public relations a very important management function. It's vital for us to continue expanding in the Japanese market. I've been doing most of it myself, but we've reached the point where I must direct my attention to other things.
Had the occupant been anywhere but close by the fireplace, he must have been crushed to am a mummy; as it was, only a few bricks struck him, inflicting severe bruises on back and arms.
There is something solemn and awful in the thought that there is not an act done or a word uttered by a human being but carries with it a train of consequences, the end of which we may never trance.
Envy is very noticeable in children before they are a year old, and has to be treated with the most tender respect by every educator. The very slightest appearance of favoring one child at the expense of another is instantly observed and resented. Distributive justice, absolute, rigid and unvarying, must be observed by anyone who has children to deal with.

Growing Phalaris is very easy - it is an grass that can tolerate floods and extreme drought. A plant dug out of the ground and left without any water for 6 days suffers only minor wilting. Severe wilting occurs after drought over 9 days in duration. Placing the whole plant underwater doesn't kill the plant.
This takes some skill. Time never stops, and everyone wants to get their phalaris as big and trypty in as short time as possible. Parts you are after are leaves - leaves have the highest alkaloid contents - so dont harvest anything else -highest alkaloid concentrations are found in immature grass and leaf blades, lowest in leaf sheaths, stems and roots. Starting from seeds is easy. Get some shallow (10 cm/4") pots. Tray with edges will do, bucket is fine - anything that can hold some soil together, something that doesn't rot or suck the water from the soil. Regular plastic pots are fine. Dont use clay/unglazed ceramic pots, these hold water. Place soil in the container, wet it thoroughly, and place seeds on the soil. You can soak the seeds for 24 or 12 or 6 hours before if you want to - this will speed up the process a bit. Cover the seeds with thin layer of soil (say like 3 mm). Spray the soil with water, and cover the container with clear plastic so that humidity stays high. If you can raise the temperature couple of degrees (23-25°C), seeds will germinate faster.

河合の要約問題っす。難しい・・One of the・・あたりから混乱。。 Traditional grammar was developed on the basis of Greek and Latin, and it was subsequently applied, with minimal modifications and often uncritically, to the description of a large number of other languages. But there are many languages which, in certain respects at least, are strikingly different in structure from Latin, Greek and the more familiar languages of Europe such as French, English and German. One of the principal aims of modern linguistics has therefore been to construct a theory of grammar which is more general than the traditional theory--one that is appropriate for the description of all human languages and is not biased in favor of those languages which are similar in their gammatical structure to Greek and Latin

People began to live by the Thames more than 2000 years ago. In the 10th century, the first wooden bridge was built over the Thames. The wooden bridge, however, was easily damaged by floods. In the 12th century people learned how to build a stone bridge. London Bridge was the only bridge crossing the river in London until 1750. On both sides of the road on the bridge there ware houses, shops, and even a church. Carriages moved quickly across it, and often brushed against the houses. In 1666 the Great Fire broke out near the bridge. People had never experienced such a terrible fire. Most buildings on the bridge caught fire. But the bridge itself was not damaged and continued to play a very important part in the lives of Londoners.

By ‘window’ we generally mean an opening the exterior wall of a building. A window, as distinct from a door, is mainly a device for introducing sunlight or air into a room, as will be discussed below, for framing a view of the outside scenery.
It is one of the most important factors in any consideration of a building as an aesthetic object.
It can determine the style of architectural composition, feeling of scale and character of a building. That is not all. Windows, by providing a better understanding of the religion, history and customs of a society, have been an important clue to historians and cultural anthropologists. An architect today must consider diverse conditions, requirements and meanings in designing windows. The architect’s task is certainly made more difficult by the range and the significance of the factors that must be taken into account, but that also increases the fascination exercised by windows.

When you read the lyrics to the entire song, Sade's "By Your Side", you understand that the narrator's intention is to make another person (a lover?) feel better. When you're lost, I'll find you. When it's cold, I'll let you come inside. I'll tell you that you're right even when you're wrong. Etc. etc.
So, this means, when you're down on your knees, I won't leave you down there but I will help you stand up.
Other people have posted messages with errors, and this has added to the confusion. Please look at the original song lyrics and be sure there are no words left out. That will probably answer a lot of questions.

The program for this competition called for the redevelopment of the present Madison Square Garden site into 4.4 million square feet of office space. The entire project is placed on a raised podium with the large trading floors beneath.
The resultant elevated plaza is lined along its perimeter with shops and restaurants. Access is provided through a series of stairs and ramps while the major approach in an east-west direction is provided by a gradual slope in the podium down to Eighth Avenue.
Metal panels with punched windows are used on the rectilinear edges of the building expressing the core and structure, while glass and glass-panel banding is used along with projecting balconies and brise-soleil to articulate the more freely expressive sides of the buildings.

We were about 5 hours out of Frankfurt flying over the North Atlantic and I was in my crew rest seat taking my scheduled rest break. All of a sudden the curtains parted violently and I was told to go to the cockpit, right now, to see the captain. As soon as I got there I noticed that the crew had one of those "All Business" looks on their faces. The captain handed me a printed message. I quickly read the message and realized the importance of it. The message was from Atlanta, addressed to our flight, and simply said, "Emergency situation developing, all airways over the Continental US are closed. Land ASAP at the nearest airport, advise your destination and ETA." Now, when a dispatcher tells you to land immediately without suggesting which airport, one can assume that the dispatcher has reluctantly given up control of the flight to the captain. We knew it was a serious situation and we needed to find terra firma quickly. It was quickly decided that the nearest airport was 400 miles away, behind our right shoulder, in Gander, on the island of New Foundland. A quick request was made to the Canadian traffic controller and a right turn, directly to Gander, was approved immediately. We found out later why there was no hesitation by the Canadian controller approving our request. We, the in-flight crew, were told to get the airplane ready for an immediate landing. While this was going on another message arrived from Atlanta telling us about some terrorist activity in the New York area.
We briefed the in-flight crew about going to Gander and we went about our business 'closing down' the airplane for a landing. A few minutes later I went back to the cockpit to find out that some airplanes had been hijacked and were being flown into buildings all over the US. We decided to make an announcement and LIE to the passengers for the time being. We told them that an instrument problem had arisen on the airplane and that we needed to land at Gander to have it checked. We promised to give more information after landing in Gander. There were many unhappy passengers but that is par for the course. We landed in Gander about 40 minutes after the start of this episode. There were already about 20 other airplanes on the ground from all over the world. After we parked on the ramp the captain made the following announcement. "Ladies and gentlemen, you must be wondering if all these airplanes around us have the same instrument problem as we have. But the reality is that we are here for a good reason." Then he went on to explain the little bit we knew about the situation in the US. There were loud gasps and stares of disbelief. Local time at Gander was 12:30 p.m. (11:00 a.m. EST) Gander control told us to stay put. No one was allowed to get off the aircraft. No one on the ground was allowed to come near the aircrafts.
Only a car from the airport police would come around once in a while, look us over and go on to the next airplane. In the next hour or so all the airways over the North Atlantic were vacated and Gander alone ended up with 53 airplanes from all over the world, out of which 27 were flying US flags. We were told that each and every plane was to be off loaded, one at a time, with the foreign carriers given the priority. We were No.14 in the US category. We were further told that we would be given a tentative time to deplane at 6 p.m. Meanwhile bits of news started to come in over the aircraft radio and for the first time we learned that airplanes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York and into the Pentagon in DC. People were trying to use their cell phones but were unable to connect due to a different cell system in Canada. Some did get through but were only able to get to the Canadian operator who would tell them that the lines to the US were either blocked or jammed and to try again. Some time late in the evening the news filtered to us that the World Trade Center buildings had collapsed and that a fourth hijacking had resulted in a crash.
My favorite book as a child was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. I liked the idea of the stubborn critter in a tall droopy black hat refusing to eat those nasty green eggs and ham. He just couldn't be tricked or bribed -- and he wouldn't eat them on a train, or in a house, or with a mouse. In my imagination I was that stubborn critter -- wily and too smart to try green food. When I was a kid, I wouldn't do anything I didn't want to do...unless my dad insisted. And still, I found ways around him.
There were 52 other planes with people on them in the same situation. We also told them that the Canadian Government was in charge and we were at their mercy. True to their word, at 6 p.m., Gander airport told us that our turn to deplane would come at 11 a.m., the next morning. That took the last wind out of the passengers and they simply resigned and accepted this news without much noise and really started to get into a mode of spending the night on the airplane. Gander had promised us any and all medical attention if needed; medicine, water, and lavatory servicing. And they were true to their word. Fortunately we had no medical situation during the night. We did have a young lady who was 33 weeks into her pregnancy. We took REALLY good care of her. The night passed without any further complications on our airplane despite the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. About 10:30 on the morning of the 12th we were told to get ready to leave the aircraft. A convoy of school buses showed up at the side of the airplane, the stairway was hooked up and the passengers were taken to the terminal for "processing". We, the crew, were taken to the same terminal but were told to go to a different section, where we were processed through Immigration and customs and then had to register with the Red Cross. After that we were isolated from our passengers and were taken in a caravan of vans to a very small hotel in the town of Gander. We had no idea where our passengers were going.
The town of Gander has a population of 10,400 people. Red Cross told us that they were going to process about 10,500 passengers from all the airplanes that were forced into Gander. We were told to just relax at the hotel and wait for a call to go back to the airport, but not to expect that call for a while. We found out the total scope of the terror back home only after getting to our hotel and turning on the TV, 24 hours after it all started. Meanwhile we enjoyed ourselves going around town discovering things and enjoying the hospitality. The people were so friendly and they just knew that we were the "Plane People". We all had a great time until we got that call, 2 days later, on the 14th at 7 a.m. We made it to the airport by 8:30 a.m. and left for Atlanta at 12:30 p.m. arriving in Atlanta at about 4:30 p.m.. (Gander is 1 hour and 30 minutes ahead of EST, yes!, 1 hour and 30 minutes.)
But that's not what I wanted to tell you. What passengers told us was so uplifting and incredible and the timing couldn't have been better. We found out that Gander and the surrounding small communities, within a 75 Kilometer radius, had closed all the high schools, meeting halls, lodges, and any other large gathering places. They converted all these facilities to a mass lodging area. Some had cots set up, some had mats with sleeping bags and pillows set up. ALL the high school students HAD to volunteer taking care of the "GUESTS". Our 218 passengers ended up in a town called Lewisporte, about 45 Kilometers from Gander. There they were put in a high school. If any women wanted to be in a women-only facility, that was arranged. Families were kept together. All the elderly passengers were given no choice and were taken to private homes. Remember that young pregnant lady, she was put up in a private home right across the street from a 24 hour Urgent Care type facility. There were DDS on call and they had both male and female nurses available and stayed with the crowd for the duration. Phone calls and emails to US and Europe were available for everyone once a day. During the days the passengers were given a choice of "Excursion" trips. Some people went on boat cruises of the lakes and harbors. Some went to see the local forests.
Local bakeries stayed open to make fresh bread for the guests. Food was prepared by all the residents and brought to the school for those who elected to stay put. Others were driven to the eatery of their choice and fed. They were given tokens to go to the local Laundromat to wash their clothes, since their luggage was still on the aircraft. In other words every single need was met for those unfortunate travelers. Passengers were crying while telling us these stories. After all that, they were delivered to the airport right on time and without a single one missing or late. All because the local Red Cross had all the information about the goings on back at Gander and knew which group needed to leave for the airport at what time. Absolutely incredible. When passengers came on board, it was like they had been on a cruise. Everybody knew everybody else by their name. They were swapping stories of their stay, impressing each other with who had the better time. It was mind-boggling. Our flight back to Atlanta looked like a party flight. We simply stayed out of their way. The passengers had totally bonded and they were calling each other by their first names, exchanging phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses.
And then a strange thing happened. One of our business class passengers approached me and asked if he could speak over the PA to his fellow passengers. We never, never, allow that. But something told me to get out of his way. I said "of course". The gentleman picked up the PA and reminded everyone about what they had just gone through in the last few days. He reminded them of the hospitality they had received at the hands of total strangers. He further stated that he would like to do something in return for the good folks of the town of Lewisporte. He said he was going to set up a Trust Fund under the name of DELTA 15 (our flight number). The purpose of the trust fund is to provide a scholarship for high school student(s) of Lewisporte to help them go to college. He asked for donations of any amount from his fellow travelers. When the paper with donations got back to us with the amounts, names, phone numbers and addresses, it totaled to $14.5K or about $20K Canadian. The gentleman who started all this turned out to be an MD from Virginia. He promised to match the donations and to start the administrative work on the scholarship. He also said that he would forward this proposal to Delta Corporate and ask them to donate as well. Why, all of this? Just because some people in far away places were kind to some strangers, who happened to literally drop in among them? WHY NOT?
Another important difference between the U.S. and German unemployment insurance systems concerns their coverage of short-time work. Although all states offer partial unemployment benefits, these programs do not support work-sharing schemes that might be used by an employer to avert layoffs because in most states workers' earnings must be very low before they qualify for the receipt of benefits. Typically, the benefits received equal the weekly benefit amount minus wages earned during the week net of an allowance or“earnings disregard.”Concequently, in most states for earnings above this disregard level, the marginal tax rate is 100 per cent. アメリカとドイツの失業保険制度の違いについて書いているものの一部ですが、Typically,以下から 分かりません。

Administrators also take part in the process of bargaining, consulting and nogotiating with pressure groups, and we have seen the important obstacles that the civil service may present to the groups' bargaining power because of the fact that fewer political sanctions can be applied to the parmanent administrators compared with the politicians. 大学で扱ってる政治の本で官僚制の機能の説明をしている章です。 専門用語が多く難しいとは思いますが、どなたか英語力のある方お願い致します。。。
The failure of firms to cut prices even though this would in the end benefit all firms is an example of a coordination failure. A coordination failure occurs when economic agents reach an outcome that is inferior to all of them because there are no private incentives for agents jointly to choose strategies that would produce a much better (and preferred) result.
The inability of agents to coordinate their activities successfully in a decentralized system arises because there is no incentive for a single firm to cut price and increase production, given the assumed inaction of other agents.
Because the optimal strategy of one firm depends on the strategies adopted by other firms, a strategic complementary is present, since all firms would gain if prices were reduced and output increased.

My husband said : " It is an northern german lamb " ,and I have an idea: If you are collecting lambs there is a possibility to have another one, but it is very very small. Think about it.
Asked about Yuki's advice that he invest in a house instead of buying a sports car, the young man sounds downright dad-like. ''We'll have to see about that one,'' he said.
A young lawyer meets the devil at a bar association convention and the devil says, “Listen, if you give me your soul and the souls of everyone in your family, I’ll make you a full partner in your firm.” And the young lawyer says, “So…what’s the catch?”

Pharmacist: May I help you, sir? Customer: Yes…I, uh…well, this is sort of embarrassing, but I’m going out on a date tonight, and you know, I need some… Pharmacist: You need some protection. Customer: Right. Pharmacist: Small, medium, or large? Customer: Uhhh. Medium, I guess. Pharmacist: Okay, that’ll be $2.35 including tax. Customer: Tacks!! I thought they stayed on by themselves!
As children, we have heard many times that "it's not polite to stare." And as adults there are frequent reminders of the "rule." If we stop at a traffic light, and the person in the next car looks interesting, we may "steal a glance," but are careful not to appear to stare. Actually, the rule that we apply as adults is, "it's not polite to stare at people whom you don't know very well, unless you can do so without having them notice you."
I love (ゲーム名)and (ゲーム会社名)! I am probably one of the only people in America who owns (ゲーム名) for Family Computer and has completed the game. I would love to talk with you about the game! I know some Nihongo. You can send me an e-mail in Japanese. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SITE!
Well, I'm not much of a partier anymore. I find that I enjoy clarity much more, and it's not the clarity I miss out on when I'm drinking. It's the clarity I miss the next morning when I'm feeling hung over. I still struggle with that urge because there's a big part of me that still likes that whole escapist, out-of-your-head thing. So I try to see as many friends as possible.
Uncertainty associated with snow loads can be determined through measurements, simulation and analytical procedures. The science used to define snow behavior is transferred into engineering practice through building standards and codes; this process varies from nation to nation. Snow science research and engineering, plus standards and codes, are described for North America.

I'm your average Joe American(thus the English vs the 日本語)But I have to say that I loved this CD! The tunes are very catchy, and always a good pick up to listen to!(with the exception of Heat Up Girl, but then again, I really didn't like the character カオァー*スー (probably spelled wrong) Overall, no matter what country you are from, I highly recommend this CD, as well as ひなたガールズ ソング ベスト1! Enjoy!
