■FAQ
Q：てめーらアメリカの企業のために日本の電気使いやがってヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
A：BOINCには日本の千葉大主催のHelp Fight Childhood Cancer（WCG）　がありますので、そちらをどうぞ。
　また、改めて言うまでも無く、これは　ボ　ラ　ン　テ　ィ　ア　です。強制など存在しません。参加はあくまで自己判断です。

Q：CPUの使用率が100%にならず不安定なんですが
A：シンプルビュー画面(小さいウインドウの状態)でPreferencesをクリック→使用上限を100%に→SAVEをクリック！

Q：CPUの使用率を100%から下げたら不安定になるんですが・・
A：BOINCでCPU使用率を90%以下に設定すると、使用率が数%〜数十%まで大きく変動して
　不安定になるので、BOINC側は100%に設定して、
　Battle Encoder Shirase：こちらから→http://mion.faireal.net/BES/
　を使って使用率を絞ったほうが安定するよ

Q：宿題が完了してるのに送信してくれないよヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
A：宿題の本体は基本的に完了後すぐに送信されています。
　ポイント報告は一定時間ごとに送るので、その分が溜まっているのでしょう。
　※Advanced Viewでプロジェクトタブをクリック→更新を押せば一定時間に関係なく即送信できます。

Q：いつまでたっても自分のポイントがWCGのサイトで表示されないのですが・・・
A：サイトが更新されるまで最低24時間かかります。マターリ待ちましょう

Q：メモリ使いすぎ！
A：WCGならWCGのHPのマイグリッド→デバイスマネージャー→装置プロファイルの
　次のスペース以内を使用: % (全メモリーに対する比率) をいじって調節してください

なんの成果が得られたの？

Q：WCGのマイグリッド入ろうとしたら、
　｢要求したページは現在、予定されているデータベース・バックアップやアプリケーション更新などの
　システム保守のために使用できません。 後でやり直してください。｣
　とメッセージが出る事が多いんだけど？

A：BOINCは以下のようなタイムスケジュールでメンテナンスを行っています

　毎日09:06から1時間程度.　　　統計更新 (チーム統計の更新も含む)
　毎日10:00から30分程度　　　　BOINCの宿題採点停止
　毎日21:06から35〜45分程度　統計更新 (全体と個人統計だけ)
　毎日22:00から30分程度　　　　BOINCの宿題採点停止
　日曜17:00から1時間程度.　　　UDとWebサイトのデータベースのバックアップ

Phase 2 has been in final validation of the results for the past several months, and that process is now complete.

HCCプロジェクトは2007年11月スタートしました。また、WCGでは初のGPU計算プロジェクトでもありました。
プロジェクトでは115,000年のCPU時間に相当する、5億回もの宿題提出がなされました。
本来ならば計算に数百年かかるものが、開始から6年足らずで完了することができました。
次のステップは、科学者らが計算結果の解析をすすめ、たんぱく質の結晶化を考えることにあります。

オンタリオがん研究所ならびにトロント大学は皆様に謝意を表します。
