According to reliable sources, Forza Motorsport, as the first media, reveals that the FIA are going to kick Michelin out of F1 for next year, leacing Bridgestone as the sole tyre supplier for 2006. The situation in America right now can be described in two words; anger and chaos!
According to the latest information from the USA, the FIA has taken a hard stance with regards to a solution to the tyre problems. According to FIA delegate Charlie Whiting, the teams have three alternatives; bringing down speeds in turn 13, using another tyre than the one originally brought to the event and accepting punishment for that, or make numerous pit stops to replace the left rear tyre. The FIA have already threatened Michelin with punishments for bringing the sport into disrepute and, according to Forza Motorsport's source, within a few weeks the FIA will announce that Michelin will not get the opportunity to continue as a tyre supplier for next season. Chaos rules in Indianapolis and emotions are running high among teams and the FIA.
