Hey!!! you NEETs, nerds, YouTube-link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis, Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers, Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters, Big-boobs fans, Weeaboos from all over the world, learners of Japanese who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, and cunning linguists. And let's hope the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!
I don't think people "intend" to scream. Rather they scream when they get scared, carried away, excited, etc. In a nut shell, it's not something controlable, usually.

It's damning. We are so [ damning ]!! Guys, you know what! Today I visited 2003 September 11th tragedy site. Museum is being built there. Terrorists killed 20,000 people [ who are living ech day like us ]!! Why does this happen? It's [ because we don't try more to go for [ working for peace ] ]. I AM working for precious Peace. How about you all? There're too many [ who don't ]. [ Thinking of it ], [ what Miyazaki prefecure education committee did ] was the same, [ discriminating students ], [ forcing mentally hurt teachers to deaths ]!! I'll tell you truly fucking disasterous grammar forbias!!!
I have just realized that I may never be able to watch Cardcaptor Sakura on account of how poor I am and how unfortunate my circumstances are, that is, the time period that I live in.
>>33 the time period you live in? Does that cost so much?
I'm sorry I don't understand properly what you are getting at.
Anyway, Akanishi is planning to hold concert sessions again in September and Octorber. What do you think of that? According to a source, about 2,000 fangirls went to see him there. But is that a success?
I don't understand what happened but the above tasteless remarks put me off writing here last night. >>12 they seem to imitating BOA, but still manage to do it differently. Actually it would be nice to see a female KAT-TUN. But as far as I know there isn't a Johnny's agency for girls.
>>21 well over 2000 signatures were collected for Jin-come-back petition online. I think the number has slowed down to about 50 a day now.
Let's assume, one in three international fans who read about the petition signed it.There are lot's of Jin fans (not in america) who don't mind KT-TUN, therefore would not sign it.
That makes 6000 Jin fans who heard read about this petition site. Let's say, the ones who heard about this particular site is only a quarter of the total online Jin-fan population.
Then the total number of online Jin fans oneline is 24,000.
let's say 80% of international fans are online. Total Jin fans off line would at least be 30,000 internationally.
And these are the "JIn-fans-only" we are talking about.
There is also the KAT-TUN fandom, who are not Jin fans but love KAT-TUN.
And that is not inlcuding the fans in america. they would never sign that petition because they would want to keep him in LA.
The problem is not the numbers, it is the geographical distribution of the fans.
I dont believe any of you are japanese, because they see this as PIG DISGUSTING GAIJIN playground. I am not japanese but at least im not american. Americans come to sell hamburgers, JAPAN SAYS: REMOVE HAMBURGER FROM PREMISES, and slices it with ultimate weapon known as katana. The End
>>43 You are seriously contradicting yourself. You complain about foreigners writing here, then you say you are not Japanese. So why are you writing here, if you fall into the disgusting foreigner category? What a confused person.
>>50 of all the conspiracies, you are worried about disgusting hamburger eating gaijins writing on just one of the threads in 2ch. This is an english language channel I remind you. english is spoken by most gaijins.
Well you must be truly unaware that internet is free to all people who connect to it. And that 2ch is open to the world.
Unless you bar feoreigners with a registration system that requires a Japanese phone no. requirement like inmixi, you will not be able to stop us horrible gaijins writing here. If it is not something you cannot stop, then what are you trying to achieve? You are full of hatred and spilling your hatred in here shows you are such a weak and irresponsible person. Seriously why don't you get a life?
>>51 It's fit for him, isn't it? 2,000 blond girls are interested in him. That's something. Do you think you have 2,000 blond girls? I don't think so. In a sense, he proved he's the most popular Johnny's member of all. No other Johnny's guys would never be more interesting to foreign fangirls, IMO.
Why Akanishi in particular? Among other Johnny's talents, I believe Arashi is the most popular. As far as I know, only Arashi officially went to do live performances overseas such as Taiwan, Korea, China and Thai. The other groups are active only in Japan.
Ah.... Yes, Akanishi went live in America. Is that why you are bubbling about him?
I am not an Akanashi fan, I am making predictions that is all. This whole thing is getting a little ot of hand. From now you will not hear about him but Kamenashi,if i bother to write at all.
Why Kamenashi in particular? As I said, Among other Johnny's talents, I believe Arashi is the most popular. As far as I know, only Arashi officially went to do live performances overseas such as Taiwan, Korea, China and Thai. The other groups are active only in Japan.
Ah.... no, Kamenashi didn't go live in America. So why are you bubbling about him?
I don't think any European TV stations would air Arashi's arrival like when they conducted a live in Taiwan, because they are far from known in Europe. That's the unmovable fact.
Everything you've said and done will not always be taken into consideration. Who's the most popular among Johnny's group? At least it's not Kat-tun. Still we are patient. We accept Kame girl here. And you are complaining when others talk about Arashi? You are so narrow minded.. Please open up to others. Don't be so impatient. Just take it easy.

I am very happy ^^
I am not in Soviet America! and i can post here ^^
The approval rating for the Democratic Party is decreasing sharply. Since I am Democratic loyalists, I am sad. I think that it is influenced by mass media.
One thing I will never tolerate is patronizing and condescending attitude of someone who thinks he OWNS the thread.
So you "accepted" Kame girl but you are not happy because she sticks to her opinion and not yours. I think you need to re-adjust your attitudes and accept the fact that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion.
Why do men have to be tall and muscular? Not all tall men are handsome. In fact when they dance, they don't look elegant at all. Their power looks too overwhelming, domineering. Whereas when Kame is performing, his coordination is really something.
>>110 I've just did it. Give me a freebie or something.
I'm kind of an advanced English learner but just thought for beginners, answering a survey in English is a good way to read and understand English. Although for regulars here who read and understand English posted here in this thread, the English in the survey might be too easy...

Sparky is the biggest challenge facing the human race since the Ice Age, and seriously, I'm not so sure if we could really withstand his full force when it's activated.
Tomorrow is Wednesday. I'll take a bus [ going to Pensilvania ]. I'll live in a Pensilvania hostel for 2 weeks. I'll be away from Manhattan for a while. After that , to save my hostel staying money, I'll cross the national border and stay in a hostel in Mexico, [ for that time I have to use Spanish language ]. I'll have mastered Spanish language [ which I have never learned ]. Isn't one [ who is in Christ ] great!? It's awesome, isn't it?

>>163 but, who knows what >>89 said is true or not. I'll never look down on him even if that is true.
>>164 huh? For my part, you are more unpleasant by far. The prime reason that foreigners quitting this thread is sarcastic person those who are like you.
I realize there are many who are copies of a Kato in Akihabara disaster. We have to take care. Since he was instigated by two channels and he got angry, extensive slaughter of the unrelated human being was carried out. I can't believe .

>>189 Metropolitan cities such as Tokyo, Osaka are not always good. They call those city Concrete Jungles. That implys surrounded by building, lacking of natural environment such as forest and little human relation.
so, if you like being solitude and shoping for the newest items, those cities are really good. On the other hand local major cities such as "Seirei sitei toshi" in Japanese, I don't know correspondent word in English, are opposite.
Particularly, tiny city in the provinces is quite tedious. there is nothing except for natural environment.

>>211 Hello, Mr.Sparky. My handlename is Umechi. I'm 20. I'm a student of English in an university of foreign studies. I come to this thread because I wanna increase my English vocabulary to some lesson of my university. Basically, when I come to this thread, I have something(is almost craply posts...) to write. >>243 Your excuse is out of point. The problem is you denied your first statement by saying opposite thing in second statement. It is completely irrelevant whether that is your guess or not.
Kame girl has bee a famous poster here for ages with her enthusiastic fandom invading and spreading through the whole thread. Actually she's focusing on inviting Kat-tun to Europe, especially Kame of course. She's aiming high - no one in this thread don't buy that - everyone thinks Johnny's is not interested in branching in Europe nor going to perform there; however, at least she seems to petitioning the agency, sadly though, it's fallen through for now. Full of despair, but I want to encourage her. If she represents a group, Kame will definitely meet and thank her for doing her best to let Kat-tun come visit Europe. In my amazement, however, she flatly denied she wanted to meet Kame in person when I asked her if she's interested in some kind of fan meeting with him. Maybe she's been pretending to be infatuated with him, so there's possibility my encouragement means nothing to her. Be that as it may, I'm also curious fangirls power can lead Johnny's to take step. They might be ignorant whether or not they are wanted overseas except Asian nations.
>>249 I do not care about sarcasm. That is all. You have been repeating yourself too many times on how KAT-TUN would not be famous. You are persistent in pressing your views and that is boring. Lighten up a little!
>>264 stop imitating me! I just finished my milk and apricot jam muffin, you to chechk on you. You are EVEN imitating my typos "ANyway" you are really bad at it. I am utterly disgusted.
Now look what you've done! it is past 3:00 am in the morning.
I don't think we have any updates on KAT-TUN now. No member stars in TV dramas, no new single has been released, I guess now is the time KAT-TUN could go to Europe.
Akanishi used to be the core member of KAT-TUN, and now that he left the group nobody can tell what will happen to it. YOu can't rule out the possibility they will be disbanded. At least, we aren't allowed to call them KAT-TUN any more. You know, A in KAT-TUN stood for Akanishi, and if we drop A out, we get KT-TUN. That's not cool at all, is it?
Please start your own blog or twitter account and post there. Whoever is remotely interested in you would follow you there. This thread isn't about you, and for the Japanese who want to practice English, you are very 邪魔
Japan have been deserted by Bllizard since Diablo 2. We, Japanese have no choice but to buy US package version. There is nothing a problem about that, though.
I'm looking forward to playing Diablo 3. Somehow I am not interested in StarCraft at all.
>>297 Well you are writing in English to reply to me, which does count as language practice, therefore your strange complaint does not make any sense at all. You have to go with the flow. Unless you are trying to pick up a fight with me, just carry on as usual.
>>310 Don't pretend like you know what StarCraft2 is. It is the most popular RTS game expected to be bought by over 500 million people all over the world !
Of course I am welcome here! And to even question that....is preposterous! thinking cyberspace as a physical medium.... which is totally flawed! You must have a very strange sense of existance on the net. Have you ever bought land in Second Life?
>>312 so glad this thread is probably the closest youll ever be to japan. self-centered and inconsiderate people like you come to japan and naturally get rejected by the japanese. and its always the same story. always complaining about how the japanese turned out to be racist and xenophobic. claiming you did everything right and followed the rules or whatever was in the manner book. never even considering the possibility that the problem may be you and your attitude. such people would never get along well in japanese society or with the japanese. not only that, but youd be giving other foreigners who actually live here a bad name. stay fantasizing about your idols and stay in your country. dont come to japan. this applies for the other weeaboos here too.
If I might ask a favour... I have a very old 麻雀 set from Malaysia, made in the 1960s - however, they're not very good quality and the tiles are actually starting to crack. If you were to look for a decent set online, where would you look? I'm trying to keep away from Western sets as they're overpriced, low quality, and have Arabic numerals (1,2 3, etc.) printed on them. Any help is very much appreciated, thanks.
>>307 Diablo 3 is being pushed back and back again. It used to be set for a 2009 release, but now it's "sometime in 2011". Hopefully it'll be worthwhile. Looking at reviews of StarCraft 2 on Amazon, it seems to only have very mediocre scores... the number of people who gave it 5 stars is near enough equal to those who gave it only 1 star, so it seems pretty hit-or-miss depending on who's playing it.
i'v loved yama P until recently, but not now i'm sorry to say that he could not mature into an adult. however i am not attracted to matsujun at all aiba-kun is better

Hindu is prohibited to eat cows for their religious reasons. for example, if they say "anyone shuld not eat cows! because they are holy creatures", then how the people who are against the whalings make excuse about it?
>>330 It's because of those crazy animal-rights people. It seems like they're mostly in North America. Isn't there a treaty against hunting whales, though?
>>331 It's never really been in fashion here to begin with. It's very difficult to find decent tile sets, and harder still to find a book on variants and strategies. The only Mahjong that is really known here is the single-player Solitaire version, where one has to just match up tiles until the pattern is clear, and even that is not played by many people.
>>330 You're probably a troll since that information is easily available, but I'll try to answer. As far as I know, the main concern is that whales are a valuable resource, but are in danger of going extinct. Humans have been around for a long time, but the world's population has more than tripled in the last 100 years (from 2 billion to 7 billion), and it should be obvious that not all natural resources can withstand the increased exploitation resulting from this fact. There are also animal rights activists who argue that it's simply immoral to hunt whales, but I don't think their opinions have a big influence on the decisions of governments. I didn't follow the news on the issue, but the main problem the Australians had with Japanese whale hunters was that they were hunting in Australian waters under the guise of research, if I remember correctly. It's also not really a "recent" thing, it's been going on since at least the 1960s, with the ban on commmercial whaling being established in the 80s. Before that, western countries were happily whaling wherever there were whales.
>>337 How about Okamura? He's taking months off. It's said he's suffering from a mental health problem. No public statement available for now, but I'm worried if he can come back in the entertainment industry.
Hi, I have a question. How do you express the action to start to use something you got before and have kept in your closet or drawer places like that in English? I mean, the change of status of your stuff from brand new to used in? Discribed as おろす(verb, orosu) in Japanese?
I read rumors that Mr. Okamura has a cancer problem. I'm really quite worried about him. Without his TV shows, I can't live any longer!!!! Oh, God, please save him from any harm. He's a good and revered person. He's the best artist in Japan!
>>318,335 Yea, that's a bummer. There is a rumor Bllizard announce release date of Diablo3 at Blizzcon 2010. But I don't expect that as usual. People always think "Why do they take too much time to development even though they will largely modify game by patching."
Speaking of Mahjong, I like mahjong too. Usually, I play Mahjong on PC or Game console. so I don't know real Mahojong set in detail. The most well known Mahjong set as high quality is made of ivory. But nowadays we can't get that easily and the price is quite expensive because trade of ivory is prohibited by law. I often heard that you should buy the one sold for more than 10.000 Japanese yen. Not based on the list price. Usually they are sold with large discount. (50-90%) If you don't much care quality, they are sold for about 5000 Japanese yen.
The problem is that I don't know the online shop that can send purchases to abroad.
>>342 , >>344 thanks for looking up the answer for me. >>343 I see. I think that's because I've never seen that kind of expression in English. But actually my American friend does keep stuff like that. He asked me to get some uniclo t shirts for him when I went back to japan last time, but he hasn't worn them at all. So that I asked him why, then he answered the old uniclo t shirts are still in use. I wanted to say, that they were dirt cheap (6 for 2000yen), just おろせば!? But I didn't know how to say that.
>>348 I know! I read that on an online article. Okamura should get rid of his depression even if it take more than a year. He should live in the entertainment industry, where he belongs!
>>347 Thanks for the advice! You're right - it is quite difficult to sometimes find online stores there that ship overseas. Yahoo Auctions is especially difficult. But more conventional places, such as Amazon, readily offer international shipping. I'm a little frightened of online mahjong... haven't played for maybe eight or nine years, and only really know one or two variants. Will give it a try one day.
I guess it's good that they're taking time to polish up their product, rather than releasing it full of bugs. Either that, or they're trying not to release it too close to other games, so that people will empty their pockets on one before purchasing another. When Neverwinter Nights came out, it was about three years after its original release date.
>>317 I did not say anything about those things you are talking about so why so offensive? You speak like some agitated gaijin in Japan looking for a place to let out your steam off because you feel isolated. I am not going to feed you...
and someone thinks I am american; you people are soooo bad at detective work.
As if i needed YOUR stupid invitation to go to some country....
My Japanese connections is none of your business so why don't you stop bullying people and get lost?
>>333 I like him, because despite his small frame and young age, he tries very hard, and looks so adorable, with all his faults and weaknesses, he is always striving to do his best. Is there something wrong with that? >>354 he wouldn't stay here long. People like him would jet set to diffrenet parts of the world, but they would alwyas live in their home country.
>>334 I would like to meet Mr Kitegawa and congratulate him. he should be awarded for his work, because his boys are breaking through borders and everyone is talking about Japan because of them.
Anyway, I was wondering how you get Johnny's stuff. Is it only on youtube? I don't think Johnny's TV shows are aired in England, even on cable TV. Guess "everyone" means a limited number of YT viewers.
>>370 Apologies. I always spell it right but this time, I was in a hurry and misspelt his name. There are many sites on the net, Youtube, tudou, dailymotion, etc etc and alos many drama channels with Japanese drama that has Johnny's actors in it. This is how powerful the internet is. It is forming a youthful global consumer community that is geographically dispersed but they are there. It is like the early stages of a new religion. This is alos happening becuse of bloggers, who include links to streaming media, images, interviews , even analysis and lots of gossip. Most are closely linked to the anime culture in Japan. You could say that, they are part of a global otaku culture, in parallel with teh Japanese otaku culture.
Btw I live in a small city in ENgland. About two months ago I ran into two twenty somethings in cosplay outfits. I went up to them and called them by their character name "Naruto!Sasuke!" They were so happy to be called like that! This is how far the otaku culture has reached, and this is only in ENgland. You d be amazed how far the culture has gone, in the most unlikely countries. The funny thinks is this global cross pollination of cultue is happening with dramas all over the world, and the effect is mind boggling.
Come to think of it, Is there any online Mahjong game service except for Asian area?
There are several online services in Japan for free. Some of them use Active X or Java technology to play so that I don't want to use those service because of security reason. Except for that, We Japanese are in good situation to play Online Mahjong.
I suppose the rule of Mahjong is basically same in anywhere. Maybe the most difficult thing for foreigner to play online Mahjong in Japan is Kanji. If there is online service that can be played in English, we can enjoy Mahjong together.
By the way, What do they call each combination for getting the score in English.
>>374 There are some Western online Mahjong servers which do require registration, and a subscription fee - but only if you want to be included in online rankings (ranking doesn't really interest me). Just trying to find it again...
As you say, I suppose the basic rules are the same but with some variation on the names. 刻子, 槓子 and 順子, in English-language Mahjong, borrow from the Chinese variation and are known as Pung, Kong and Chow. A 対子 is known as an Eye (since there are two of them).
The only Mahjong manual I've been able to find (and already have) here is from 1938, which only really covers American and basic Chinese Mahjong. It's nice to learn Japanese Mahjong, though, as it feels almost as if I'm playing for the first time, even though there are many similarities. Would be happy to have a game online sometime, even if just to figure out what's different.
I found some informations about Mahjong set. In Japan, The Mahjong set made from Urea Formaldehyde Resin is commonly used because of their durability and productivity. If you are sensitive about environmental problem, I think you already know the fear of them.
But those Mahjong set are treated as high quality in Japan. In fact, they have several advantages as compared with other material. They seem most suitable among the materials commonly used for Mahjong set. If you can accept those factor, that would be best one to you.
I also found several shops that could send purchases to oversea. But they have Japanese language pages only, So you would be obliged to deal with them in Japanese. Unfortunately, Amazon Japan specifies that they don't send Mahjong set to oversea.
The one thing I worry about is cost of shipping. They offer shipping cost calculator at the bottom of page. The estimate of shipping cost is rather high as compared with using FedEx or something like that.
If there is import service to buy those items in your country, it's worth considering using them.
It was at a high school student's time that I memorized mah-jongg . After graduating from a high school, I am not doing mah-jongg conversely. It is a mysterious thing. I did life to be precocious when I was a high school student. I am a gloomy NEET now.
>>379 Thanks!! That's incredibly helpful. Personally, I'm not too worried about materials, although durability is good to take into consideration, as I don't really want them ending up all cracked, like my current ones. Bone would most likely be problematic because of customs, when shipping into the country. And bone stains with age anyway. Phenol formaldehyde resin seems quite a safe bet too.
Found a British seller, earlier, who imported and sold some of the sets shown on Rakuten, but his prices were twice as much (even for the exact same sets), so thanks for the link - I'll browse through this site more in the morning. The shipping isn't too bad - it sets the default weight at 10kg, which is a lot more than needed, so the adjusted cost should be quite a bit less. And I'll post a link to that multiplayer site once I find it again, if you're interested.
>>382 Parents always tell their children than "school days are the best days of your life" when they're at school. Of course, when I was at school, I thought they were just saying something stupid, but kind of miss those days now. What is it you do for fun these days?
>>383 Ah, but like poker, there so many variants. Also, part of the fun is actually learning how to play and improving. And working out how to talk people who have never seen it before into playing. Which is almost everyone here (locally). Like most games, there will be stretches of time when the game stays packed away in a cupboard for a while, and then it can be fun to go back to it again. Haven't played Monopoly for years now... or some old board game called Mysteries of Old Peking, but I think that one's been banned for racism now.
>>372 Don't worry about it. There's no need to be sorry for misspelling his name. I just wanted to signal you just in case. That's just it.
Hmm, so main resources you guys get Johnny's stuff from is limited on the Internet. This makes things a little complicated, I think. I don't bother to tell you those dramas are copyrighted and you get them illegally, in reality many people do that with impunity, but if that's the case, Johnny's maybe knows that there's a certain amount of needs overseas and still most of them don't bring themselves to pay for their stuff. As long as their dramas are available for free, European girls see them, but they don't want to buy them, which I think would make the agency think it'd not be worth a try to do business in Europe. No cable stations air Japanese dramas because their needs are satisfied with illegally uploaded videos on the net. So there may be needs but there's no market there. I'm not sure how Johnny's thinks about it, but if they are going to the Europe market, the first thing they should do is make contracts with cable TV stations, don't think you?
Johnny's should consider visiting Europe. Sure, there's almost no probability they will succeed there since those EUropean girls who watch Johnny's dramas are quite small and they are far from the mainstream of the society, but who cares? Just fail there and realize Asia is the only place where they are accepted.
I watched a thing about Japan and manga and it said that people buy lots of Hentai and they lye it around when there done with it. Is this true and if so are teenagers usually punished for picking then up and reading them?
If I remember right, a Johnny's unit named TegoMasu debuted in Sweden and they first sang their song there, where a few hundred swedish fangirls participated in the singing session. idk why.
I don't think SMAP is popular overseas because they are nearing 40 years of age, and younger generations would never get interested in such guys, and even in Japan Arashi's replaced their position as an Idol group. Even Kame girl has never mentioned SMAP as far as I can remember. It's likely that she doesn't even know about them.
It is delicate whether Tegomass has succeeded in the sale in Europe. Since the song of Tegomass is nice, I also like them, but the point of argument has shifted from the fight of Kame and MatsuJun. He watched Mr. Sakurai on television yesterday also. I think that Mr. Sakurai is doing his best although he has no star nature in Arashi.
Speaking of Matsumoto, I read the news that Hitoshi Matsumoto was allowed out of hospital the other day. But I'm more worried about Takashi Okamura, who is said to have mental desease or something. Guess he won't come back at least a year. How sad.
Do you think Johnny's boys will be successful in Europe if they went there, FROM AN OBJECTIVE VIEWPOINT? And success means, for example, at least no less than 10,000 people get together to see them in an event venue. So what do you think? They can succeed? Or they will fail?
Johnny's seems a bit interested in American market, since Akanishi's been there and it's thinking of doing some kind of musical in NYC. I don't know whether that's really possible or not.
Well, then, let's talk in English here. I strongly believe that people with a great command of English will NOT blame others for their poor English. Because they should understand how hard to acquire a new language. Also, they have their own history of struggling to improve their English. So I can't believe studied abroad to get a master's degree. Anyway, it's easy for to prove he is a good English speaker.
Kimura Kokomi, Kimura Takuya's daughter, attends an International school, so there's no doubt she's fluent in English. I believe 10 or 15 years later she will debut in the show biz world, just as Sekine Mari did. Sekine Mari also went to an International school before studying abroad, and after that she returned to Japan to make her debut as a TV personality.
>>411 The fan of Mr. Kamenashi seems to appear when Matsujun is praised though I do not understand a detailed thing either. There might be a discord in Arashi and Kat-tun.
>>405,406,408,411,413,414 are me, I don't like Arashi at all. They behave like they are superior. I like the warmth of Kat-tun, they are down to earth.
Cut it out! What in the world makes you think Akanishi is down to earth? Photos taken when he drunk deeply, flirting with girls - is that what you call down to earth?
>>421 actually I stopped writing about Kame long time ago but, there is a chap who wants to talk to me about it. he wants to find out whyI like him so much. He wants to make me chat about him all the time. I think he is from Korea. Oppa, oppa, where are you opppa? Or should I call you Ahjussi???
>>429 I am really happy to hear you Japanese like kimchi!!! When we hear that Japanese accept and respect Korean culture, we always feel great happiness coz Korean culture is basically greater than Japanese one. However, some or most Japanse people don't know it, but I can believe you are not such a Japanese person.
>>432 Finally, I found a honest Japanese who really understands why kimchi is great! I think Kimchi can be one of the healthiest foods and well known Korean food in the world!
>>434 On the contrary. If they carry big brands like Toyota, Panasonic, Sony ,,,, they would become household names before 2015. EU girls would love them.
>>434 General reaction in Europe to Johnny's boys must be bad because of their oriental faces, but I don't mean that all Asian idols/actors will fail, of course. For instance, some Korean idols and actors like Rain who has been known and famous in the U.S. have a big chance to succeed in Europe.
Real korean culture is now getting famous in the world, as you know. Moreover, many Korean products like mobile phone and home electronics are sold and in common use in the world. It means that Korean economy has got strong power and is still growing day by day. Korea will be top of the economic countries in Aisa soon!
Akanishi and Kamenashi may be known to European Johnny's fangirls, but how about the others? I don't think they paid any attention to them. There's no need for them to be keep forming the group now that Akanishi left. Now is the time for Kame to act on his own in his solo activities!
>>443 you are japanese jani-ota in england ,aren't you? i think it's hardly possible that the people in other countries get interested in such short ugly boy Kamenashi.
>>448 Is your handle name is a joke? I know you just referred to a general dictionary, but since korean war, it has meant Korean because of the similar pronunciation to the korean word which means "country".
Is akanishi working favorably? His rumor was lost in the public eye. I just remenbered ,it is said that Moroboshi was also in the United States for a while . Did he also do something in the United States?
>A slang dictionary published in 1893 defines "gook" as "a low prostitute."[3] Marines fighting in the Philippine–American War (1899–1902) and the Moro Rebellion (1902–13) used the word to refer to Filipinos.[
>1947 New York Herald Tribune (2 Apr.), The American troops...don't like the >Koreans ? whom they prefer to call 'Gooks' ? and, in the main, they don't >like Korea.[4]
>1951 The Steel Helmet (movie), Sergeant Zack: You talk more like a dog face >than a gook. Short Round: I am no gook. I am Korean![7]
>>455 I am not disputing that 'Gook' will been seen applied mostly to Koreans; the Korean War is one of the most recent wars in which the USA thought in Asia.
Bring some new arguments to the table rather than throwing more ad hominem at me.
First of all, I will apologize for what I said using 2ch joke technique, and I understood my misunderstanding of the word "Gook". I didn't really know it's a common word which means Asians, especially Japanese. I appreciate you let me know it, and I wanna apologize to people who are hurt by my stupid joke..... Korean people might check this BBS, but then, I didn't mind about it. I have often made this kind of mistake, so I have hurt many people on BBS. I will respect Korean people and culture from now on as my apology. Usually I don't eat Kimchi because of that strong smell. However, it could be easy to find any other Korean foods which I can eat because of a great variety of Korean foods.
As Korean cuisine, broiled pig innards are very delicious too. The store which Tokuyama which was a former boxer runs is also located in Osaka. Mr. Tokuyama is actually working in the store. It seems to be delicious.
Based on the Youtube videos I've ever see, Arashi is surely more popular than SMAP. I have never noticed there are enthusiastic fangirls of SMAP from overseas. That is, it's easy to tell who's the most popular among Johnny's groups. It's not KAT-TUN, by the way. lol
>>460 It isn't used specifically for Japanese people; I was trying to troll everybody. No offense taken, people on 4chan make jokes about black people in the same way.
>>480 U r a great fisherman! I couldn't see through your joke. Lovely jokes will be fun, but this kind of 2ch joke is not always fun and has a risk that I myself might be embarrassed, so I'll take care, and you should also take care!
What has become of this thread! Keep it tidy! Kame girl agrees with the Jani height formula, More like -3 cm. Kame is about 168cm, even if they quote 171. Because he is(was) a bag of bones he looks fine. That is probably he is with Kyon, who is even shorter.
>>492 I'll correct it for you. × Kame is about 168cm, even if they quote 171. Because he is.......... ○ Kame is about 168cm, even if they quote 171 because he is..........
Yes! "Akamushi" is red worm often used as fishing baits. "Kamemushi" is stink bug that it gives off a terrible smell so as to protect itself from enemies.
More accurately, Akanishi are larvae of some kind of Chironomidae. Akanishi are about 1cm long, bright red in color, so often called "bloodworms". They are widely used as bait especially for trout.
>>519 Thank you. Akanishi is being forgotten away indeed.
A couple of decades ago, Akanishi used to be found just anywhere such as puddles or ditches. Nowadays, however, it is difficult to find living Akanishi in Japan. You can get frozen Akanishi in pet shops dealing in tropical fish at a cost of several hundred yen. But most of them are imported from China.
By the way, you think Kamenashi is a stinky, filthy and nasty bug, don't you?
But Kamenashi just releases the foul smelling liquid to protect himself. If you don't touch him, then he releases nothing. Or if you have to touch him, do it carefully and gently.
What's important is never to get Kamenashi to be angry. Unless he's angry, you never get that bomb of stinky liquid.
>>525 When you use a conjunction word, you should be careful. For instance, you shouldn't start a new sentence from the words like "But", "Or", and "Because". Then, you can use a comma between the previouse sentence and the conjunction word. Of cause, it depends on the conjunction and the construction.
Ex) wrong) I like him. [period] But I hate her. correct) I like him, [comma] but I hate her.
However, I am talking about writting. If you are just writing spoken language, you don't need to follow it too much.
Is it so worthful that one can speak english ? If you're right, all British are worthful unqualifiedly. How very like you Japanese who struggle with learning Englsh.to say such things!
>>528 British people are British. Naturally English is spoken. It completely differs. It is good that Akanishi who is Japanese can speak English. Though he is not a pure Japanese but a North Korean resident in Japan accurately.
>>529 That Akanishi can speak English very well is worthful for WHOM ? only for you, don't you. ? Akanishi has done something that you have wanted to do for a long time but you've could not yet. So you just have a high regard for him.
there are a huge number of English speaker in the world. I'm sorry that he is nothing special for many people,
I find it disrespectful when people discusss "other people's worth" in this way. I see it is a reflection of your own struggle to find respect and feel worthy in society. What you don't realise is, this kind of thinking only makes opportunist power seekers happy, because they will rule over you, and use you as they please. Therefore do not put down others, do not put down yourself. This has nothing to do with healthy competition. Every person is capable of doing worthy things.
I have bought the book of grammar today. I think that I would master this book and I could come to like to be able to write in in the right English. Grammar is also important too , isn't it ?
The money order is going to rush into the level of 84 yen. I would like to travel abroad for English study. I want to make the best use of this appreciation of the yen and to experience a trip abroad.
>>541 As the only Kame fan here, I URGE you to write something different. You keep repeating this JEband1 versus JEband2 comparison. I would rather you get to the point. You are not really interested in some boy band. So why are you writing about it? Please be honest.
I have this image that each Arashi member is different in personality, but KAT-TUN members are not so different. In this respect, Arashi is more interesting to watch.
>>541 I agree . First of all, although Kat-tun consists of only Akanishi and Kamenanshi, it is not an overstatement. Persons other than two person are obscurity.
This article kind of reminds me of Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of the ex Japan's prime minister. And I have a hunch that Obama administration will come to an end..
>>547 I remember Akanishi served/interviewed Jody Foster when she came visit Japan to premiere or something. It was all in English. He stepped up a ladder to debut in America, in restospect.
I've downloaded Jane Style, one of browseres for 2ch lately. But, I'm still struggling hard to use it well(Because I'm an analoguer(self-scorn))... So, I wanna ask a question to people who downloaded some browser for 2ch. How long did you get used to use it well?
By the way, I've lost my ID including VISA card of my university lately too... First of all, I went to a city hall to get a certificate of residence for doing a part-time job of guardman in Hanabi festival. (A security company where I went to take job interview in needed it). After that, I went to a 7-Eleven to take a copy of my ID card. But, when I went home, I noticed my ID card is lost! I think I might have forgot to take my ID card in copy machine after taking a copy. What's worse, when I went back to there and asked a clerk if my ID card is kept as a lost thing, she told me "Sorry, not found"... So, I can't help appling for a new ID card to card company... It's shameful!
sorry,I'm call on my friend "please explain your university's study". Would you please be so kind as to my text, becauseI'm no good with English
My text is this
My study of university is decellularizing of using ultra sonic. First, before I explain this study,Ishould think explaining"decellularizing". Decellularizing is the processing, takeing off the cell from native tissue. For example, It happens immune rejection when donor's native tissue transplant to host tissue. It is because donor's tissue cell is existing in the tissue. therefore, we using ultrasonic and taking off donor's cell from donor'stissue. The number of using device of this processing are five. First, ultrasonic homogenizer.Decellularizing is processed by this device. second and third, NaCl(食塩) and SDS(ドデシル硫酸ナトリウムの略).These are buffer. fourth,The circuit(that)is circulated the buffer.fifth ,heatexchanger. Initially The native tissue is setted in the buffer in the circuit. next, heatexchanger's(and buffer)temperature set up 37℃.then, the circuit set up rpm(回転速度を表す単位) 40〜50. finally, The ultrasonic's insonification is start. The processing take 2 hours to do.
i think if you want to ask for help from others it is better that you post the original Japanese text of it with the English one because there may be few people here who know the biosciences well
then do you use this site? this is a helpful English dictionary site which have many example sentences
I haven't heard about the latest news about Akanishi. Is he still in America, or did he return to Japan already? All I know about his plan is that he'll go to America in September this year. No idea how many fangirls are interested in going to meet him. Probably something like 2,000 again.
Today's cry of a cicada is noisy. It is sultry today. Since I am not interesting even if I stay at home, I go out today also. OtaRoad of Nihonbashi in Osaka is lively and happy.
My major study in the univercity is Decellularization of tissue by means of ultra sonic wave. First of all I think I should explain " Decellularization of tssue" Decellularization of tissue is a processing of taking off the cells from native tissue When transplanting native tissue from donor to patient, the patient's immune systems rejects the donor's tissue. It happens because the donor's living cells remain within it's tissue.
Therefore we try to remove donor's cells from his tisseu by using ultra sonic wave
There are five devices that the processing needs . At first, ultrasonic homogenizer. the processing of Decellularization is executed by the deveice. The second,NACL , the third,SDS. These are used as buffer in the process The fourth, the circuit where buffer circulate around. and the fifth ,heatexchanger. The first step of the processing is that you put native tissue in the circuit containing buffer. then setting the temperature of both heatexchanger and buffer at 37 degrees., and then setting the current speed of the circuit at rpm 40〜50. Finally, you begin to irradiate the native tissue with the ultra sonic wave. It takes 2 hours to do the processing.
I am amazed and contiue to be amazed by the endless Jani discussion here. There is a troll who is determined to make everyone hate the entertainment industry. As the only real Kame fan here, I am repulsed by this planned evil act.
I think, out of all Japanese bands, SMAP have had the most media coverage here. The remake of Saiyuki was followed quite closely by the media here, as the original series is still very popular. BBC News also reported on last year's Kusanagi incident, as well as giving mention to his TV show about South Korea in an article about Japanese-Korean relations.
>>579 I guess it's because there's always time lag concerning this kind of thing... In the past two years, Arashi completely took over SMAP to my eyes, based on the CD sales, media exposure, and talent popularity rankings... I don't think SMAP members are ranked within the top ten places about popularity.
Igirusujin-san, when you say "media" it is the UK media; however teenagers and younger people who love JPOP rely on the internet for their own information. This is interesting because the local media filter does not apply to JPOP fans. They live in a different (more like additional) world than those who rely on the BBC news.
>>578 Kamenashi (stinky bugs) are very interesting insects. As you know, Kamenashi often produce dreadfully bad smell, but they are not necessarily offensive bugs. Kamenashi release a foul smelling liquid only when they are offended. You know, they do so to protect themselves.
What's more interesting is that there are many families of Kamenashi and each family has its own distinctive smell. Surprisingly, there is even an odorless family of Kamenashi. So you should not assume that Kamenashi always smells bad.
>>580-581 Of course, I'm just talking about mainstream media coverage rather than the torrent sites, YouTube and fansites used by the not-so-casual purveyors of popular Japanese music. Don't know much about them at all, though I had a Chinese friend at university who was a massive Jani-ota, and he used to talk about them a lot.
Personally, I still prefer groups like B'z and X Japan.
I used to listen to B'z and X Japan too. Then I found about Elephant Kashimashi and Tokyo No 1 soul set. Kat-Tun is just an interesting twist in my diverse music folder.
i think Mtujun and Arashi are on the winning side of Jhonny's and the rest of the Jhonny's members, Akanish, kamenashi, yamPi are on the losers. i'm not going to accept the different opinion(kiri!)
at the moment the person i like best in japan is Maehara Seiji, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism,. he is awfully handsome for a politician. i love him than Jhonny's boys.
Nakayama Yasuhde , a member of the Liberal Democratic Party ,is ikemen ,too His father , Nakayama Masaki ,also in the LPDmember, was very handsome in his youth. But it is said that he was fallen into the honey trap which North Korea set up , as a result he betrayed japan.
By the way what do you think abou Kan's statement on 100th anniversary of Japan's annexation of of Korea I just want to say Kan " dont wake a sleeping dog." The issue of Japan's annexation of Korea has been clearly settled by Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea signed with korea in 1965. Here if Japanese goverment beat a dead horse, that country would become more and more loud in it's demands. The current cabinet doesn't understand at all about what the neighboring country is. The people there have too much egocentric and hysterical national character. Our goverment try to issue the statement just for shaping their unrealistic political idealism or their arrant narcissism , although politics is reality itself. I must say ,the people of japan are so miserable because of having such terribly feeble government
>>620 Who cares? Doesn't change the fact that he's a fag.
As for the zainichi, they won't "go back home" because they won't be able to play victim and leech off Japan if they do. They are hated in Korea too, so they really have no place to go. But still, they try so hard to defame Japan and the Japanese for their "brothers and sisters", who hate them anyways.
I dislike the zainichi .They are grabby and dirty . They privatize the park near the school half and are calm. The Korean school persons concerned should also be arrested.
Although I think that I will buy a book in order to increase English knowledge, speaking of a used book, dust etc. attach the used book after all and it is dirty.
I'm surprised you guys know the term "weeaboo". You mean as the non-Japanese "Otaku, right? I'm sorry, this is my first visit here, I normally go to 4chan. But yes, ever lolita, Visual Kei, and cosplay have been gaining popularity.
Seemingly, there is a case in which comics, such as Doraemonn, were considerably useful, when a foreigner studies Japanese. Should we also read foreign comics?
The money order became the level of 84 yen. It is likely to become a strong yen still more. It becomes easy to go to travel abroad. A strong yen is good for us.
Kimutaku first appeared before us about 20 years ago, we were use to so excited for his sexy face and performance〜! now there's nobody who will succeed kimutaku, boooring
The yen is drifting to the 84-to-the-dollar level It is likely that the yen become still more strong It makes easy to go abroad. the strong yen is good for us.
>>639 Kimu-takuya lost his popularity, after the KAMEDA fan of boxing became clear. There is no fan who supports the entertainer who supports the boxer violating the rules without compunction .
>>638 Not really. Today's high value of the yen to the dollar is mainly because of the failure of the Wall Street, not the successful result of Japan's economic activities. Basically, the weaker the currency of the country is, the more easily its economy grows because it can foster exportation of its domestic products as until recently China has kept shipping thousands of made-in-China products to the world thanks to the unreasonably weak value of Yuan to the dollar.
Actually I would like to see an older Kame. With gray hair and glasses. he would look awesome. Maybe he should play an older man role, opposite Kyon Kyon. That would be a dream drama.
I wish I could get someone to buttrape Kame multiple times while he sleeps, and proceed to shred him into bits and pieces to feed a mad cow in here, so that I don't have to read about him anymore.
Surfin' isn't easy, and right now, you're lost at sea. But no worries; simply click on the X in the right upper corner, and you'll be back out riding the waves of the internet in no time.
>>645 I'm Japanese. I'm here because this thread is part of 2ch, a JAPANESE website and this thread is one of many that I post on on this board, where the rule is:
□ English板は、英語に関する情報交換と学問的な議論の場所です。
I wonder why the rules and 99.99% of all the other threads are in JAPANESE? So you're saying you're here for the same reason as me? REEEEEAAAAAAAAALY? And you still think you're not a foreigner here, that there is no such thing as being a foreigner online? You're nothing but a weeaboo who wouldn't be here if it wasn't full of Japanese.
>>648 YOu don't seem to know about Kyon Kyon co-starring a movie with her ex-husband.
She's a good actress now, I saw her appear in Bayside Shakedown the movie 3, and it was really funny and interesting yet tought-provoking and serious. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Kyon Kyon plays a mad woman there, plotting something in order to achieve what was not completed in the movie 1. You should check it.
Oh, I might've been confusing a bit. The one she co-stars with her ex husband is not Bayside Shakedown 3. They are two different movies. In fact, as far as I know, the "ex-husband and wife" movie will start some months later, so don't complain even though he doesn't appear in BSSD3. lolol
Akanishi was the key member of Kat-tun, and now that he left, the group means nothing, isn't it? Someday Kamenashi also will leave from it, Kat-tun will be disbanded in my opinion. YamaP and Kamenashi will make a unit. That's ideal, isn't it?
>>660 You are quite right. Peace is acquired and maintained by a force. The Japanese government should consider to strength the national defence. Why not?
It's no wonder for you to feel that way because the group sucks balls with or without Kamenashi and Akanishi. All "talents" recently produced by Johney's are just fucking gay. They have no future at the end of the day.
As you guys have already known, the new movie that all of American people cried over is supposed to be spreaded all over the world tonight. You don't know it? You should have known it instead of knowing Minomonta looks like a oily lizard.
Today's guests are most talented, exquisite and respectable actors in the world. Everybody welcome Brad Pitt and Ken Watuna, Watu, Watenabei! "wo hoo----- crap crap crap".
>>680 That's right, but sometimes native speakers say "medias" especially when they talk about mass media. Look up your dictionary, I'm sure it is described.
As far as I heard from my friend, London is a nice place to stay if you have enough money to enjoy. Also many immigrants live there and the city is multicultural. If you were an independent person, living there would be a great experience. But, people aren't so friendly there if it is compared to whom live in West side of North America.
Although I'm a freak, I have many many many girlfriends I mean each of them are really my girlfriends. But strangely enough, they all have a same name called dutch wife. Are they from Holland? Can you tell me why they have a same name?
licorice is known as a kind of materials of Chinese herbal medicine(漢方薬) in japan, used for pain relief or anti-inflammatory by the way where is the ”licorice”
>>690 No, I should have known the fabulous system. It must be a paradice for all of fags like me. If I had gotten enough money, I could have gone there.
I did not prepare the petition for Akanishi. I just mentioned it. Kame is probably a gay icon already, but there is much evidence in gossip boards that he was with KyonKyon for four years. . Some say there was a secret marriage, some say he is now with that 19 year old actress from Wallflower drama. How he can switch his interest from middle aged women to teens is puzzling.
I do not see Kamenashi on the television recently. Saying as no appearance on the television is unpopular. Arashi is doing its best.
Although Kimu-takuya is seen on television, since he is the KAMEDA fan, I am disagreeable. It is because KAMEDA is a boxer which violates the rules. And it is because KAMEDA is a Korean resident in Japan. What directs what violating the rules is unpleasant.
>>659 you don't sound like a traditional japanese person at all. You are rude, rude, rude.
The word weeaboo seems to be invented in America, so it applies to Americans only. What is more, I am not a lost soul wanting to be Japanese; I adhere to my own nation, thanks. You are so deluded an full of it, you make me laugh.
>>711 Yes, I've smelt Kamenashi several times. If you treat Kamenashi carelessly, it releases dreadfully bad smelling liquid. Once smell it, you'd never want to even see the stinky Kamenashi.
>>717 Well, he stinks particularly after Johnny buttfucks the living shit out of him, literally, which you must be dying to see but never want to smell before he takes a shower. Most probably you'd pass out if you did.
>>714 These stupid people here are ordered to spread the name of Johney's entertainment by the king of gay ass Johney himself. This stinky thread smells like Kanenashi which means no money in Japanese.
>>721 you are deluded. Though I am sure, Mr Kitegawa or JE executives will find out about this thread. He probably got mentioned more than your Prime Minister! wait, maybe he should run for presidency!
actually i have a confession to make. I was just measuring my influence over the internet. I seem to have this special talent for evangelizing a topic, or leading poeple to talk about it, at least for a while. Thank you for yor interest and contributions. Now I must go. I will be very busy for a while. If you come to London, find me, we will have a drink or two. Much love, Kame Girl.
>>730, I am simply too busy to post here. No I am not Igirusujin-san, whois a he, I am a she. We are in the same country. No I do not grow at night, I am already a tall woman. >>729 yes then you will be set free hearing about him from me.
Have you bought 10 fomulas of English? [ If not ], buy one today! Isn't it surprising [ how well and wide the book is selling ]! All the book buyers are winners for the next entrace examinations, aren't they!?
In [ hearing [ Americans speaking ] ], you may not be able to catch some words. Then you can ask, " Syllable by sullable, please! " Then you can understand every word. This is the best way(^-^*).
actually i have a confession to make. I was just masturbating to all the attention i get over the internet. I seem to have this special talent for enlarging my dick, or leading poeple to puke on me, at least for a while. Thank you for yor disgust and constipation. Now I must go. I will be very busy fapping for a while. If you come to London, find me, we will have a fuck or two in the butt. Much cum, Kame Girl.
Don't do drugs people. I Kamenashi is the hell of drug of everyday people. I'll conquer the world someday and make everybody happy coz I already have won the honorable No.1 place in the world baseball match when I was in a secondary school. You know that right? I was so happy at the moment and I still can't get over the awesome feeling. Dang Dang Pah, Dang dang pah! I'll I'll rock you!
Although I seldom watch television these days, is SMAP still in fashion ? kat-tun disappeared completely. Arashi is seldom in fashion, either. Although the program of a new plan is discharged, viewership will continue hanging low. A new plan is not interesting, either.
Since the power supply of the personal computer was not turned on at all this morning, I got impatient. It restored at last. Good morning.
>>750 Morning, you are too late to wake up. I guess SMAP is not in thing anymore. However, Kimu-Taku still stays in brilliant shape regardless of his age and no one can deny that unless you have a confidence that you are better looking than him. I guess other members of SMAP aren't really attractive anymore.
I'm thinking it was the manga & anime that got japan down as it is now. many young japanese have got lost within anime & manga for years and years to forget real task and duty which they must do as members of the community. manga & anime have a tendency to lead to powerful addiction. i named it as " the lost country for anime theory " thanku you
>>751 It's because they are crappy and a many people get upset about a lot of talk about crappy things. They are people who want to upset other people.
Even but, don't Akanishi came back to Japan the Bon Festival at Bon Festival neither nor? If the star visited Japan, most least one of the commercial will made and returned. That is the nothing in the case Akanishi all ? Does Akanishi turned the johny's itself to the enemy?
Even so, doesn't Akanishi come back to Japan the Bon Festival at Bon Festival either? If a star visits Japan, at least one of the commercials will make and return. It is the nothing in the case of Akanishi at all ? Did Akanishi turn the johny's itself to the enemy?
Even so, doesn't Akanishi come back to Japan the Bon Festival at Bon Festival either? If a star visits Japan, at least one of the commercials will make and return. It is the nothing in the case of Akanishi at all ? Did Akanishi turn the johny's itself to the enemy?
>>755 Mr,Nakai is eligible as a host of program. However, he has lost the task of being an idol or a role model. He seems as if he is as same as ordinary people.
If Akanishi became to be able to speak English fruently without hesitation in Japan or in other countries, he would get an attention from people who are international.
>>765 it is a typical japanese jani-ota's idea there are so so many people who can speak english smoothly besides more attractive than akanishi. the japanese, known for their low skilled english, tend to have an exaggerated view of good english speaker. not bad FOR a Johnny's tarent, not bad FOR a japanese this dosent mean nothing to the people outside japan
> However, he has lost the task of being an idol or a role model. > He seems as if he is as same as ordinary people.
Here, it is said that this is the virtues of Nakai here He has been a perfect foil to Kimu-taku with willingness since they formed a groupe SMAP. So Nkai is the behind-the-scenes architect of hugely successful SMAP and Kmu-taku
i'v just checked the information of this program umm... most of the cast are korean or pro-korean and NHK does it... full of shit and the empty mood of friendship it is likely to be a terrible :-7
Who can speak English fruently like a native in Johney's entertainment? You know what, they are many freaks who support attractive Japanese boy-group in all over the world. They go bananas even though Japanese boys just try to say something in English. So, that's why I think if some talented Japanese boys and girls had been able to speak in English, they must have gotten a popularity in English spoken countries.
>>774 Because some Korean people are arrogant by nature and they make up their history. Their education of history in their country is also made up. They do whatever to support their nation. But, what they do is choking their own neck. The notorious image of South Korea has been spreaded by the South Korean people themselves.
>>777It is enough if we have an apologetic feeling in the heart.
Maybe it is impossible.Because young japanese hate the korean cordially due to their barbaric, ungracious, and foxy character. This is the problem of neither japanese' discrimination nor prejudice but korean's humanity.
↑any grammatical mistakes here? if they are, somebody correct them pleeease!
>>777 You've got the nice three seven, but Japanese people living today don't have to apologize the issue to them anymore. Japanese prime minister Obuchi has already apologize to the nation officially. Moreover, every war is not a crime. It is literary a war. I mean war is usually occured for the sake of robbing anything and conquering the world. The winner is beautified and the looser becomes a criminal and is exploited with labeling as a war convict. If Japan should apologize or should be criticized, the United nations such as the U.S, the U.K, France had better to apologize for colonizing many countries.
Japanese people should wake up in the reality! But with a peaceful mind. Many of Japanese don't criticize the U.S. even though the nuclear bomb was dropped to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This is a beauty of Japanese mind in a way. We don'tlook back to the history or whimper for getting more profit with a grudge.
South Koreans and North Koreans are hopeless if an influence act is not resigned. A Korean resident in Japan also needs to resign an illegal act. The private use of a park should stop as a first step. The police should also arrest the Korean school persons concerned.
It is said that 70-80 persons were conveyed by the hospital by heatstroke in the Kanto district. It is said that it will get hot tomorrow also. We will take care.
Yeah, the heat is unbearable this summer. It's no wonder so many people broke down from it. Anyway, two glasses of orange juice made me feel refreshed earlier. But curiously enough, maybe, I HATED it a while ago! But I definitely needed it.

Come on, the pattern of weather is changeable. It's nonsense to believe in what weather forcasters say. They just "predict" weather by observing move of clouds.
>>824 If I were to be very nice to you, I'd tell you to just build up your muscle. Since girls value how a boy looks more than his personality. So if you're not manly at all, you'll be most likely considered as an unattractice person especially if you are out of Japan. But it might work if you had a great sense of humor.
Btw if you're short in height, give up all hope from the beginnig.
I is tired..and melancholy. I asked her to go somewhere on weekend by mailing. but she refused..said have been sick and busy. She doesn't seems to be...
>>826 my education purpose is improve of English. There is gym near to school.some student going I wanna be a manly but it needs a lot of fee and time.
You don't say you asked her to spend time alone with you, do you? Usually, girls wouldn't really love to be alone with a guy at weekend unless he's her sweetheart. Dude, I think you need to speak to not only her but also to her friends. Otherwise she'll think you just want to do her.
Finally,my looking for a part-time job is over! My new part-time job is a clerk in a famous and popular izakaya. The izakaya has a system of touchpanel to customers. It makes orders of them so easy. So, my work as a waiter may be so easy. I hope the part-time job is good to continue until graduation.
>>831 Well, I just thought being abroad without your parents and close friends had to be lonely and he was just being crazy a little. Ok, I'll shut up.
It is said that, as for the Kansai district, this intense heat will continue next week also. It is hot even if I am walking along the shade. Canteen bringing became common.
I know it's not as bad as the occasional heat waves in the US, EU and AU, but a lot of people are dying from heat in Japan this summer, way more so than other years.
Even if I walk on the road, I am unintentional due to this heat. I scare the bicycle running at a blistering speed. I seem to stagger and to knock against the bicycle.
Where can I wikileak about pre-school or international school in Japan? The school I used to work, or my friends work, horrible system! I don't wanna send my kids to those!
Parents are just happy because it is International...
>>839 What is the significance of an international school? What makes it different to a normal school? When I lived in Germany, the school I attended was run by the British government, but people of many different nationalities also attended. Is that the sort of school you mean?
>>839 Well, I can say it depends on its school curriculum. If the school offers academic program, parents who can afford the expenses would love to purchase it.
I love the hot weather, the sun gives me a powerful energy. It is just brilliant with the stunning beautiful sky! I love the feeling when getting inside of shade of trees from where the sunshine glares. People live today are spoiled by the environment where air-conditionar works. The sunstroke can be prevented if your body is used to the weather, you have something to protect your head from the direct rays and you drink water frequently.
I perspire a lot even with a little physical activity or just walking outside this time of year. And what's annoying me is that I easily get heat rash so I have to take good care of my skin. Just too much of a bother!
Sorry I can't write Japanese cuz I'm Korean. I love music but don't like much about idol music. I found out this discussion is very interesting, so as of Korean I wanna join in if you excuse me. I feel Japanese girls idols are so shocking(in negative way.) They seem to have a fixation on school uniform. AKB48 ポニーテールとシュシュ, oh my god, the camera in PV try to rip off their clothes like they wanna peep the girls naked. It's just so unbelievably disgraceful and unpleasant for young girl's eyes. You guys in Japan should understand why teenage girls in Japan is so enthusiatic about Korean girl idols. Cuz Japanes girl idol's cannot be role models for Japanese teenage girls. Hello, it's 21century. Please put that school uniforms off. Korean girl idols try to look powerful(confident) as well as cute and sexy. In Korea, girl idols like snsd, kara is targeting to male audiences. In Japan, teenage girls loves Korean girls idols. Think about "why". I think there's a very interesting key point. I'm not telling about music. It's about culture about girls. I think you guys in Japan are losing your teenage girls audiences cuz your culture doesn't respect them.
>>850 im japanese male but i completely agree with you on that you wrote about difference between K-POP girls and J-pop girls. compare to Jpop girls like AKB48 and モーニング娘, kPoP girls are very attractive and look ten times hotter. you Korean guys have no idea how lucky to have them, and you've got to undersand that even we japanese male are sicking and tired of childish Japanese girls idols already. My friends and me myself are all big fan of 少女時代SNSD and KARA. im telling you, every japanese male (except akihabara geeks) are dreaming about dating with Korean girls because thay are so sexy and lovely. this pic from KARA's concert in japan the day before yesterday. http://www.jpnews.kr/imgdata/jpnews_co_kr/201008/2010081409347510.jpg http://www.jpnews.kr/imgdata/jpnews_co_kr/201008/2010081405041475.jpg you see that there are not just teenage girls but tons of japanese males there too. i think SNSD is more appealing to japanese male than Kara is. cant wait to see SNSD on Jpanese TV, they are comming here to have concert in the next couple of days

BOA is NO1 Korean artist in japan. almost all japanese men love her. remember.
everybody knows BOA is full of plastic-surgery korean people love plastic-surgery to death korea is the country where even it's president have cosmetic surgery I can't believe it!
>>850 Yes! Your analysis of Korean idols is right!!
Fundamental characteristics which star idols must have should be a unique talent. It seems almost all Korean star idols have original characteristics which are never copied from others, besides they know the importance to create and introduce new style of idol. Korean idols are now very famous, and when new idols debut, they are immediately introduced to many Asian countries including Japan. It might show how much Asian people are interested in Korean idols. However, unfortunately for Japanese, Korean idols' information is always delayed coz of not enough media coverages that introduce new Korean idols. Japan has also got many potential fans who actually love Korean idols like other countries' fans. I hope such a situation will be changed!!!
i thnk it is the very time that korean know the fact of their history without refusing to face the reality japanese people are geting exhausted to deal with korean who has done nothing but lie
Actually...Korean girls seem to fail even as prostitutes. When there were a lot of Filipinas in the nightlife district near my town, Many Japanese men would come there, but now that Koreans chased the Filipinas away, They won't step into the district anymore.
>>863 Don't tell a lie! I think top cover of your passport doesn't have the Japanese Imperial crest. I mean you are not real Japanese. Shut up and don't pretend to be Japanese!
The Kimchi is powerful to summer fatigue. I like Kimchi very much . But I dislike a Korean resident in Japan and South Koreans. They do not have moderation. They should return to a homeland.
It is as hot as I am likely to become insane if something is not written in Channel 2. It is likely to get hot today also. I cannot bear even by heat at present.
generally korean idols tend not to be able to be popular in japan in the case of toho-chink they also didnt have popularity in japan at first. after a process of trial and error they finally struggled to gain japanese people's some notice. but it takes them a long long time to do it. there is a clear difference in value of idol between japan and korea i know that korean idols are more sexy than japanese idols but if most of japanese wanted sexy idols truly, then japanese showbiz would provide the people with them by itself as for the originality , like other asian nations korean idols are also under the strong influence of the US .no more and no less so i dont think they have originality at all rather japnese idols are more uniqu
>>883-884 So so sorry... yes I am a real Korean who was born in Japan. I honestly apology that I make you confused, but please don't get upset over about what I said. Actually, your prediction(>>884) is totally correct, and besides, I wrote my real mind and opinion(>>863). Unfortunately, I have never lived in Korea, but I have a huge pride as a Korean, so I'm happy to see Korean idols are getting famous! In fact, Japanese TV is always talking about Korea, and such a TV is dramatically increasing. This means that Japanese people are really interested in Korea. All Japanese are now like that, and this is a good opportunity for Japanese to know real Korea and our culture. Korea is the top of Asia, and we will keep the position forever...
>>886 Korea has basically been a enough developed country since 5000 years ago, and many Asian countries have always followed Korean modern culture. While enemies like Japan and China always intended to invade Korean peninsula, real Korean warriors bravely fought against them. Therefore, Korea finally ended up as an advanced country! Of course, there is still DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) between South & North Korea, and North Korea is a very poor country as you know. However, the reason why Korea was split into two is that Japan invaded Korean peninsula with illegal way. If Japan didn't invade, Korea would not be separated for sure. Although Japan must deeply apologize to Korea, it doesn't mean Korean people really hate Japan. I think only real apology can solve this problem, and Japan has to pay compensation for Korean people who have got individual damages, instead of compensation for Korean government coz individual compensation is the most common way for this kind of issue. ! ! !
>>890 English writing is one of my hobbies, so it is not difficult for me to write like this, but I am very happy to receive responses! However, if you feel bad from my writing, please just ignore. Main purpose to write a little bit complicated message is especially for my English study. Never mind. ?
>>889 What I'm impressed with your words is the capital letter "Z".
>................................................................................................................................. DMZ(Demilitarized >Zone) between South & North Korea, and North Korea is a very poor country
I have no idea?!?! DMZ? Zone? omg! great! anyway good job!
Ascent along a mountain stream is dreadful . Although it is dangerous, it is in fashion now. Many people are encountering the accident. Why do you go into a mountain ? Are you asking for self-satisfaction? I don't understand .
If Japan had not annexed Korea, Korea would have been invaed by Russia or China. Korean separation only proves their fate was within the hands of Russian and China. Without Japanese presence, Korean pennisula would have just seen a regime of North Korea like(first, puppet of USSR, today subject of China) earlier. Then if America had not fought back, korean would have seen one nation, DRPK all over korean peninsula. It must be good thing for you. Don't dream on. First of all, you should go back to Korea and work for them.
And about individual compensation, it's Japanese government which proposed individual aids to Korea. "Korea" declined this offer and asked for economic aides as a whole, and used the money for economic growth. The korean government concealed this fact to theri people untill recently.
Korean blockbuster TV drama, IRIS has been enjoying ratings below 6, lowest of all japanese dramas on air. Yes, korean things are very popular in Japan. And broadcaster has to air IRIS for another 2 months (6 months in all) regardless of its profitability. It's their duty!
In Japan movie anaconda is the thing. Anaconda defeated IRIS by ratings. Anaconca wave is covering all over Japan.
a s korean professor says n korea's current situation is almost a carbon copy of Joseon Dynasty's one the people always suffered from extreme starvation and the tyranny of the country so it is totally right that if japan didnt rule the Korean Peninsula the whole peninsula would have gotten into N korea's situation of today
>>928 Beautiful head! Yes, it's my head!!! and I have pride of it coz it's like the moon!! I know you also love it! By the way, I am bored... because you are boring... ?
Is pitcher Akiyama a Korean resident in Japan? A Korean resident in Japan often uses the name of Akiyama. Hanshin has many a Korean resident's in Japan players.
It is sweltering heat. I am likely to go mad. Other persons will be the same. The Akihabara incident is likely to occur again nervously in case of this heat.
i have a question to all which do you think is better to use the domestic blog service(of couse writing in english) or the one outside japan for getting more foreign readers ?
if i make any mistakes in the text↑ ,someone correct them PLZ!
Japanese media reports it's Hirosue who tried to go out with him and she made it. People begins to know that her pure innocent character are deception. It's said she loves a guy with a bad guy ambience. She has made her parents and her sister, who also has a kid or two take care of her only son when she goes out with him and has fun with him. Sometimes stayed at his place. What a whore.
I can imagine Igirisu-jin is shedding his share of tears.
To my eye, she has only been a spoild brat since her debut. I thought everyone could tell it from how her face looks like, but that hasn't been the case for some reason. I have the slightest idea why she was able to make herself popular in the first place.
think about it: would an artist with a bad boy image wear an ugly Bluetooth device on his ear? that is for geeks to wear. that would ruin his charisma! obviously he would hide it in an artistic manner.
>>949 A "candle artist", of all people. Looks like he just makes generic candles and makes up a load of stories to make them sound special. What did her ex-husband, Okazawa, do?
Got hold of the movie 'Departures' ('おくりびと') a few days ago, but haven't had time to watch it yet. People say it's pretty good. Had family visiting last week, and my cousin (aged 35) insisted we watch '大日本人', '鎧 サムライゾンビ' and '東京ゾンビ'. They were all pretty bad.
I have bought the book "the idiom which appears in an examination." I have heard it already . It was wonderful. It became follow of a book called the frequent appearance English grammar. The hearing of the idiom which appears in an examination became the good collections of summer.
There was another book of the idiot. I have imagened someday, with dear husband, live a life, until a last day. Husbands in our country are delicate about their wife's past. It could color their memories throughout the life. I bitterly understand the delicacy. Believed it to be sweet to oblige. A silly fantasy. I need fantasy.
It is hot today. It is hot every day. I have to go out today also. I seem to die.I will take care about heatstroke. Even so, Giants won three straight victories well.
Look guys. If you fund me I will design a high-tech cooling suit for you. Then you will feel the cool air conditioning wherever you go in your hot and humid country. We have the perfect temperature in England right now.
BTw I heard Kame is going out with a 19 year old actress. What's with the guy...I though the like dolder women only. Maybe after Jin left, to hide his secret marriage to Kyon, and make him more appealing to fans this is just a smokescreen. Btw Mr Korean of this thread would be plaesed to read that I like Shinee and Kim Nam Gil.
Yes, it is going to be blazing hot again. This weather burns out the will to even whine about trivial stuff - that is actually a good effect, at least.
I am a fan of pitcher Tanaka of Rakuten. The appearance of his exposed fight instinct is pleased. I like his performance, although the player of fight nakedness is fundamentally disagreeable. His pitching of yesterday was wonderful.
As a person who has never bought music online such as iTunes and what not, this news is quite surprising. Some day, mega book stores shut their doors because of e-publication? The trend is already cast its shodow in publishing industory.
Yeah, to me, it feels like the Internet has been stirring and turning the society upside down. I wonder if any of the UK HMVs have been shut down also.
But isn't it true that the audio quality of CDs is better than the downloaded music? Or even so, the difference is not audibile?
>>966 HMV Group sold HMV Japan to DSM Investment Catorce in 2007, so they've been a separate operational entity. HMV in the UK is the largest retail chain of both movies and music - the biggest competition was another media chain called Virgin Megastores, part of Branson's Virgin group, but Branson sold the stores and they were rebranded as 'Zavvi', which then went into administration and closed down in late 2009. So there's not really any highstreet competition. HMV group here also owns the Waterstones chain, which is the UK's largest highstreet bookstore.
However, both stores are trying to push digital/online content too, with HMV's hmvdigital.com which offers MP3 downloads, as well as Waterstones, which generally has a Sony eReader stand the moment you walk into the shop, as well as thousands of e-books on sale on their website.
Regarding the quality of downloaded music, it really all depends on how the music is encoded. The standard format for ripped MP3s is 128kbps - most people can't tell the difference in quality between this and CD, and the sound system plays a big part in being able to discern them. MP3 downloads from retailers are usually 320kbps, which is supposed to be two-and-a-half times better quality. It is also possible to get music in FLAC format, which is 'lossless', and so suffers no loss of quality from a CD encoding. However, a FLAC file is usually about ten times as large as a 128kbps MP3 file, so if you have a song that's 3MB as an MP3, it'll be around 30MB as FLAC.
I just took a look at HMV Japan's 10 best selling CDs and 8 of them turned out to be Korean crap. WTF do they want to market over here? No surprise they had to close the flagship store.
>>967 Gee, thanx sooo much for such a thorough response to my whimsical question! So, it seems that things are really turning digital and online in UK. I don't care so much about the CD jackets, so either way is OK, however, I do care about paper products such as books and magazines, and I don't want them to be replaced by e-books. Having said that though, I like Google Books service very much because it frees me from a lot of hustle of finding old books, and I also like how Amazon Kindle is designed.
Well, on a different note. Japan is becoming subtropical, and bananas and blood-oranges are begining to ripe in the Kanto region. We don't even have to go to Sauna, because all you have to do is go out in the Sun. Peace.
>>970 Thinking about it, I didn't actually answer your question after all. So, in short, the difference in quality between CD and a downloadable MP3 is so small that hardly anyone would actually notice it.
The weather here is very different. Right now it's pouring with rain and quite a bit colder than it has been recently. The temperature has averaged about 20-22ºC this past week, and is supposed to go down to just 14ºC later this week. It is now flying ant and cranefly season. Would rather have blood oranges than craneflies.
I saw yesterday Kenta Kiritani, the actor, in Junku-do. He was tall and fresh. Also when finishing a handshake session and returning,he cared about the surrounding fan and had scattered the smile of the whole face. He was a good person.
I just came to Japan from America. I'm here to live in your country as an English teacher. Thank you for your hospitality. Compared to America, Japan is very hot in the summer. Every day here it has been 35 degrees Celsius, and high humidity. I saw on the news that over 100 people died from heat stroke (熱中症). This is global warming, right? What happens when Japan reaches 40 degrees in the summer? Do we have enough oil to run the air conditioners in all the conbinis for 100 years? We should try to reverse this trend...
I remember the 26-degree air conditioner campaign from 2005. Nobody really paid attention, though. The shops blew the cold air out into the streets. Turn it up to 29 degrees, and make it stricter.
>>977 These are just normal black garden ants, but for three or four days of the year - usually on the warmest summer days - the males and immature queens emerge from their nests, fly around a bit, mate, then the queens try find a new place to dig, while the males die a day or two later. It's difficult to avoid standing on them, and even just thinking about flying ants makes me itch a little, for some reason.
>>982 I agree that 128kbps is not enough, however, many people just make do with 128 because they don't know any different. It's a similar case where people don't mind having badly compressed JPEG images of their photos, because they're not aware that they can be made to look better through careful processing. Careful as in not using MS Paint to resize them.
Kame girl used to have a dominant influence over the Kame girls all over the world. In fact, she tried to collect the "Akanishi Come Back" votes on the internet, but sadly after her attempts failed, her power has been diminishing.
I saw those who are carried by an ambulance in succession yesterday two affairs. It was difficult also for me to walk straight on the road. Feet was unintentional. Heat this year is too unusual.
