I had thought the judgement at Judo, Sumo and Kendo had been unfair. But the fact is that it contains their way. Ryoko was in receipt of it , and she had known it already.
Goodafternon. everybody's sentence i can understanding a little befor maybe 3days ago? I thinking My sentence is no good ,but I can swich early to japanese for English word . I don't undersutand use (for, to,at,from, ing, ed, etc). But befor I hate English but now I study English very fun.so i don't give up. I want try always do my best! I'm sorry,no good sentence write use this sread.
I think this thread is useful because using English to others is may be the best way to learn it, and that is better than disputing each other in Japanese. However, the most readers, almost 100% I assume, are Japanese, so writing in this thread is not precisely actual. It's a kind of a bridge training, a tentative exercise for actual uses. I admit that I don't have good courage to communicate with other people in other countries without any necessity to do it.
>>16 Me too. I used to have a cynical attitude toward such an event because I hate the selfish and excessive behavior of both mass media and some fanatic people. But, I get to enjoy it. it's just a sports entertainment even though including some political aspects.
Last Saturday I went to a convenience store to deposit money. I inserted my card to ATM machine but it was refused. I was confused. There were messages on the screen: "Any service isn't available from Saturday 17:00 to Monday 7::00. We apologize for your inconvenience." I had only 1,000 yen...
>>28 Yeah, you're right. It is a terrible system but still some people come to visit me in order to borrow some money. I am a loanshark. So if you need money, call me anytime. But remember when you won't be able to return it to me, your body will float in the nearby sea. lol
I like pachinko so I understand people who are addicted to it. I also used to go playing pachinko almost every day when I was young. But I gradually realized that playing pachinko is really waste of time. Life is short! So I have to do something better...like things which make my life meaningful.
>>37 Please leave us alone! Somehow, I don't like that thread. The title of this thread is nice and the English ability of people in here is almost the same level as mine. That makes me feel at ease whenever I come here.
>>39 How can you say such a thing?! If you say you're a beginner, I have the right to say that I'm also a beginner. Did you create this thread? If so, I'll never come to this thread as you wish!! What a narrow-minded person you are!
>>40 Oh sorry. I thought you and others who posted above were all either natives or advanced learners. As the title said, this thread is for beginners. That was what I said. If many good english are posted, beginners hesitate to post. 初心者用のスレだってこと言いたかっただけ。w
I went to Akashi yesterday. I bought a boiled octopus there. It was very soft to chew, great tasting. It also tasted a little salty so it didn't need any sauce.
>>70 I recommend some difficult books such as pholosophy, ethics, etc. Especially, too stiff and formal styles are good. They easily invite you to dream.
>>77->>82 Montreal Chinese guy, the hacker, you ruined terribly last time when I hospitalized in Aug 2007 and May 2006. This time I hope you won't ruin me over and over because I'll have a surgery. don't send any evil letters or ruin every precious thing I have. I will go to police if you would do it again and again.
>>84 You deeply ruined my life last time when I had surgeries. Those were that acts that god will never forgive you. apologize me first. This time, I'll have another surgery again. I said Don't ruin me anymore. You are going to eat cheapt chicken that you have been always eating, right? you had it yetserday, day before yesterday, everyday. why is it so special to eat chicken? I said don't RUIN my life.
My mobile phone has a special function called 1seg. I can watch TV by it. Here is a question. I live in Osaka, but I want to watch TV programs in Tokyo. Is it possible if I change “エリア設定”?
People from Osaka especially inside the Osaka-city Kanjousen (equivalent to Yamanote-line in Tokyo), have certain characteristics. They have strong personality just as funny as comedians of Yoshimoto. Outside the city, people are normal. Those who live in Hankyu line, especially around the Kobe line are noble. Ashiya is famous for the city of rich people. I live around there. Very far from Osaka mid-town people. w
I don't like that most people have a lowbrow image of Kansai because of Yoshimoto and Hanshin Tigers. If you lived in NY and where you live is Manhattan, you want to differenciate your place from Harlem where all the black people live. Do you know the difference? Kobe and Hanshin area (between Osaka and Kobe) are far different from Osaka mid-town.
>>120 tomorrow is the last day of national holidays...but why are you so sure about the crisis?
lol psychotic otaku is the most boring person I've ever seen in my life. I went to soomp*and read her writings. haha...how foolish with no sensitivities and boring person she is. lol
She shows all the brainless mentalities to the public on Soom** I wonder if many people are like that in Ca*****. I bet there are a little bit better person exists there. Poor him...lol
OMG!! How happy I am today! it's so relieved to say whatever I like on the internet. when he is not around! it's possible to feel this freedom!!!lol God Please kill him! Please!!!
Probably she had been trying very hard not to reveal her silliness before, so she made up her fake personalities. She, herself knows very well that she has no brain. She is only good at repeating after what people say. She has good memories, maybe. that's why so far, she had good grades. That's why she had been struggling in being pretentious. But now she has no other ways to hide her personalities, the real stupidness. Now she is showing everything to public that she is a REAL stupid girl. She is now yelling "Please come back to me! I am waiting for you. I am the one and only for you" lol in a most stupid way. Poor her and poor guy....but there is a word, "Bakkapuru". The stupid guy goes out with the stupid girl. So you are lucky to find the most stupid girl nearby your home for you. lol
Bakkappuru. Umemiya Anna and Haga Kenji is the symbol of bakkapuru. They are both brainless and pretended as they love eachother for a couple years. But later it is revealed that he was a fraud. He pull off to get her properties but he ended up a criminal.
Yeah, they are surealy a bakkapuru. Umemiya Anna would never be happy unless she became all by herself. She always depend upon something, money, father, boyfriends, etc. She has no brain to think about her future. well...she's equivalent to Paris Hilton. Do you think Paris is a happy girl?
Anyway, people Bakapppuru or whatever, enjoy your life.. Meanwhile, I will have a hard life from now on. I don't know if I would come back to life but if I were luckly I would. Take care and happy BAKA life with your BAKA partner. lol and have a BAKA cheap meaningless life with BAKA onnna forever lol
Subject one Chick is pretty cute. But It don't mean young girl in this sentence. I point that this word mean baby bard. What were you thinking?
Two I frightend my cat which names Tamakin. Then Tamakin frightend. ....Hey!!!! Do you understand this sentence means?
First paragraph's [frighten] means kind of near to amaze. Second paragraph's [frighten] deal with intransitive verb. That is to say, Tamakin is surpriseted at me.
Please give me correction!!!! I'm very very very cute fifteen years old girl. My hobby is Collecting Eromanga. My face is like Horikita Maki + Nukumizu Yoichi - Horikita Maki.
Speaking of Tokyo, I once lived there when I was a university student. I went to school while working at a newspapaer distributor, which was located in Komagome. At the time, I got the impression that Tokyo is a "melting pot" of "inakappe", who mainly came from Tohoku district.
>>207,208 Maybe you guys are right. I began to think that otaku doesn't neccessarily mean geek. But, still...couldn't we say some otakish people are really creative? Of course some lack a sense of balancing in real life, though.
Today, “Nadashiko-Japan” fight against Germany. For Nadeshiko, there is nothing to lose. So, I wish they do their best without worrying about trivial things.
>>371 You think [ it's funny ]? Know what? I have a huge cock and your mom loved [ sucking it ]. I used [ to shove my self into her tight ass [ until she stops [ crying ] ] ]. Your mom was a tomato with onion booty. She was a pro ho. for your info. ************* Oh, was she!? [ Thanking you ], I'll let [ you have my huger penis in your ass hole ] [ until you cry out [ saying, [ I'm cummming, I'm cumming ] ] ]. ****************************** I'm coming, I'm coming, for my head is bending low. I hear their voices calling, Old black Joe.
>>233 Yeah, get out of your room and hang out with someone! Just a thought of doing fireworks alone make me weepy... But come to think of which, I haven't done any fireworks this summer, either. How sad, but you are not alone, mate.
I think mosquito-repellent "Kintyo" matches summer more than firework. Aside from a trasy joke, your comment reminded me of a essay titled "Makurano soushi", which was written by Seisyounagon. She said," dawn is best in spring, 夏は宵...."
>>271 It might be good for you to read "Asaki Yumemishi", a very classic, old commic based on "Genji Monogatari", if the original story is too classic (maybe we could call it ancient) for you.
I owe a lot to the comic. It really helped when I was struggling to pass the university examination. It'll help you understand the idea of "Awareあはれ".
Good morning Guys. Yesterday I wached movie "skycrawlers". OSHI movie being in difficulty as usual, don't make me freshingly. But voice act of "Shosuke Tanihara"was good over my expectation.
>>281 Go to a book store near your house and buy yourself a grammar texrbook. Everything begins with it. I reccomend Taito Onishi's book to you. His explanations of grammar is really easy to understand. It will blow your mind.
>>282 I have several books authored by him but they've never been opened by me so far. They are sleeping on the booksehelf with its top covered with a lot of dust. So is there any way to learn English without reading a grammar textbook? Whenever I read a few lines of a book, I feel like my brain breaks down.
>>278 I take university entrance emamination this year, so your remark made me read it, and fortunately, I already have Asaki-yumemishi. So, I can read it anytime I want to do. However, I don't have interest in ancient Japan... Would you tell me charm of ancient literature easily ?
I cannot help thinking sex related things. Every woman I see looks very pretty regardless of her age, even if they are not so beautiful in general perspective. (of course, old woman or baby is not my taste, though) I must be ill. Serious ill. For me, to stop such thought is no less difficult than to stop smoking is.
>>283 In my opinion, it's pretty hard to acquire second language without understanding the grammar of the language in systematic way after we came to the age of 12 or 13. I believe that the comprehension of grammar save you vast amount of time. I'm not saying that you have to be an gra- mmar geek. For example, if you grasp the total idea of SVOC, you will be able to understand easily that these sentenses below are categorized into same group.
I saw him crying. I want you out! I believe him to be a teacher. I found it easy. She made me sad. You have to leave him alone. I feel something crowling on my back. and on and on and on.....
>>283 If you think it painful to study the English grammer, I suggest you to watch a couple of your favorite DVDs with subtitle. Easy, casual, entertaining movies would be better, such as "Back to the future" or "Matrix" or "Spider-man". These are my favorites. It will give you another sight to English.
>>285 Personally, I found the comics very interesting. I guess Murasaki- Shikibu was romantic, imaginative woman, creating idealized, perect man(Hikaru-Genji) in her head as a byproduct of sexual frustration lol. I mean, how many women did the Hikaru-Genji fxxk? But it was OK in the era. It was their culture and reasonable way to make decendants of emperor and make sure the family can be prosperous. He is like a super idol! He can have sex with as many women as he wants! And their way of loving is totally different from ours, writing short poem to confess their love or something. I think the book will give you a good understanding of ancient way of life of the Emperor, which tells you the basic idea of Japanese culture. It's sad if you couldn't explain the subtlety of it to foreighner when you are asked what it's like.
>>297 Indirectly, yes. But you have to keep it in your mind that it's an old girl's comic like "the mask of glass(garasu no kamen)". Don't be so hopeful, it's a far cry from dirty books. I meant the comic was a good way to know the way love was at that time and to get over the stinking Japanese classics exam. At least you can grasp the names of the characters. It would be helpful in the test.
Today, I've learned a lot from your English, in which there were some idioms whose meanings I didn't know. For example, "far cry from" seems to be a very useful idiom, so I'm going to use it quite often from now.
>>299 I see. I read it in this evening as a textbook, not a poluno. The book may help me to grasp an atomosphere of ancient Japan. It's good.
By the way, I'm not good at reading names of anciant people because they are always very long. Anyway, I read it with my body lying on the bed this evening. It would increase my knoledge.
ahh... somebody took it wrong...somebody will misunderstand about what I wrote again. gosh I should never wrote something to confuse others. sorry. just forget about it. I was simply wrote a grammatical question. nothing is metaphor. just don't think anything too much. I just wanted to confirm if passive sentence is used when we want to exaggerate something.
Today, I watched a DVD in English, "Lupin the Third the castle of Cagliostro", directed by Hayao Miyazaki. I reconfirmed that this was one of the Japanimation masterpieces, altough the resolution and quality of picture was outdated. But it also made me reconfirm that translating one language to another one is really a big deal because Lupin was called "my thief" by Claris, who calls Lupin "Ojisama" in Japanese edition.
>>310 Oh really? Cagliostro is one of my favorite anime films. but did Claris call Lupin "my thief?" oh no~,....that lacks an "ojimsama" nuance... the best way for her to call him is... well I think "uncle" is better but it doesn't have some nuance to respect him. not OjisaN but "sama" shows her respect towards Lupin and her elegance too. so "Mister thief"is probably better?
>>311 Not neccessarily. "my" sometimes can be used to express intimacy, such as "my dear" or "my son" even when they are actually not the talker's. Maybe the translator chose "my thief" to substitute "Dorobou-san".
But as you mentioned, it's hard to describe the respectful nuance hidden in "oji-sama", which tells us the gentility of Claris as princess. I perfectly agree with you. Japanese language is tricky.
I was astonished that the prime minister Yasuo Fukuda decided to resigh his post. I don't know what exactly he is thinking. Why does he have to step down now? The return of then prime minister Abe? Not again...
>>316 asotonished? これって喜びの驚きの意味じゃなかったけ。。amazedと同じだと思う。 so maybe you didn't like Fukuda and now happy to know that he resigneded, did you? Abe..is he still a lawmaker? he is staying with Akiko at home. He would never be allowed to show up himself in public anymore.
I read tons of boring posts on AG forum lol so you are still doing that sutpid job with your psychotic girl friend puwahaha. Bakappuru lives happily ever after. lol could you give me the d/l link of the Brown Eyed Soul vol2 tx
Oh, mistake. There were tons of posts but I didn't read 'em. coz it takes too much time and only makes my brain rotten. I won't read any of your stupid posts. so don't worry lol just give me a d/l link coz I need it. tx
again, you took it wrong. Always misunderstood what I said. Brown Eyed Soul is not a metaphor. I didn't mean An stupid kid. I meant I want to d/l the real Brown eyed soul, the music. not An stupid kid, understand? what I always say is not a metaphor. You have something wrong with your brain. Just get rid of an stupid post, never allowed to post in public.
an stupid post is annoying. an stupid face is really ugly, contaminate the environment. an stupidily happy face is there coz of the stupid guy's hugs lol How horribly stupid they are.
If you let me, I'd like to tell a bit about my private matters. I've changed my job lately and I'm in the middle of taking job trainning now. BUt I've already decided to quit the new job and look for another one. What's bothering me most is that I have to work under three bosses. They don't get along with each other and each of them has different way of thinking about their work. So if I take advise from one of the three and do it as I was told, the others get angry with me. In such cases, I'm always at a loss for words and get frustrated.
sorry to hear that. but are there some differnt ranks in those three bosses? If they can't get along with eachothers, why don't you talk to a manager who stays upper position than those three?
>>332 Oh...I can't be sorry enough for you, man. You are in trouble. I'm not familiar so much with career change things, but do you think it wise to make up your mind so quickly? Quitting your job so quickly might backfire on your career. I'm just a kid so I can't say anything certain. But next job interviewer might have impression that you may be a quitter. It's no good for you.
You should look up the word "dictate" in your dictionary. If you do so, you'll find that it has a few meanings in addition to the one you were referrin to.
I've read comments such as “Never be addicted to the NikoNiko Movie. Be carefull!” many times in 2ch, but I've not read a comment such as “Never be addicted to You Tube”. Why? NikoNiko movie is such interesting that you're absorbed in it all day ??
hey guys!I'm watching this thread for the first time! I feel here is 2 channel becouse all you guys behave just like "2 channeler" even in English! I want to say it loudly, ">>1 good job!"
Osaka was independent country in one TV program last night. Sakata was a prime minister of The Sate of Osaka. To find either your Boke or Tsukkomi parter in your life was more important than finding your spouse. That episode was hilarious. I really liked it. w
oh, lol that's what I always say to a NHK's money collectors. I actually own TV but I don't (usually) watch. only sometimes. But to tell the truth, I've been watching Atsuhime. That's probably NHK's taiga drama.
In my opinion, MJ, who is a heroine of Spider Man, is very cute although everyone says she is not cute, or even ugly. She looks always grim, but the expression attracts me all the more.
She's one of the weird beauties. Maybe she is not very pretty but has intelligence and she does funny way to express herself. She doesn't have moderate gifts and beauty. How about Christina Ricci? She is also one of the weird actresses.
lol Christina Ricci was in "Adams Family". She was so beautiful at that time in my opinion w I guess she's very pretty still now. Not like an old woman like an old actress lol
Today, I got up at 9 and a half hour in the morning, and did necessary jobs for life: brushing my teeth and washing my faces and going to the toilet etc... After such tedious works, I prepared for going university. I went out of my house and rode to the station on my bicycle. It took as long as almost 2 and a half hour to get to it because I missed to get on a rapid train and bus. But it was not a boring trip as you anticipate because landscape which I saw on my way to it was beautiful. Arriving at my university, I studied by myself at the library for almost 2 hours. But unfortunately, the time to start the class had been already passed when I saw my watch. What was worse, my bicycle parked in front of the station was removed. So I went back to my home on foot from the station.
I is very think all you everyone are very much fool peepulu. Why do you are very fool? I is grate grate good man and haveing TIOEC900. Probabury all everyone who are living this sred have less TIOEC900. So you are all is more bad than me. haha
>>423 You just already has had grammaticaling mistakes a lots. lol In fast place, you should need to must say "I'is sorreing at you" instead of "I'm sorry for you." "Is" are used when you is saying one person, so "I is" are correct. And then you should need change "I is" into "I's". And and, sorry is naturaluly change into sorreing because for 現在実際進行形. but and, you mast super carefull about sorrying and sorreing. The latter is correcting. and final-answerly, "at" is much alots bettering than "for". because you can able to use "at" like in tha way as "I throw at this dogs", so just the same reason. OK? no no. You donting have to need to apppolojize to at me. I's very kind gentle gentleman.
SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT!!! I thought that I could have removed that guy forever from my territory but seems like he is still here. Shit! I was planning to post a loooooooooooooot today but I have to postpone my plan! SHIT!!! or I should never come back to internet once again. Shit!
Some of my friends who had lived in foreign countries for years say "You can express most of what you want to say with the only two words: 'make' and 'have'. They are very convenient."
>>479 Tonkotsu noodle is. We eat it not only as a meal but also on various occasions. I ate it yesterday at the last of a banquet, so-called "sime", usually ochazuke is favored.
>>480 That's right, you guys have tonkotsu. Kyushu tonkotsu is considered genuine. Because of the tonkotsu boom, I can eat tonkotsu ramen anywhere but can't tell if they are real or modified to fit everyone's taste.
>>481 All of my friends left Kyushu says they can't find tonkotsu ramens like in Kyushu, so their tastes are probably arranged. If you're in Tokyo or Osaka, I can advise you some ramen restaurant.
>>484 I recommend "唐そば" in Shibuya. I've never visit there, but it was once in Fukuoka and I used to go there very often. Try to search the name by google. I will be happy if I can help ramen fans like you.
>>484 oops, I'm *on* a ramen craze, I guess. Thank you very much! Yes, I'm a huge ramen fan so I could go right now, but they are already closed. I'll try it this weekend and leave a review here. lol
What did you have at suppertime? I ate rice and miso soup containing egg, carot, satoimo (a kind of aroid), wakame (a kind of sea vegitable), and so on. They were really delicious.
Tonight, Okada Japan fight against Katar and this match is important to participate in World Cup in South Africa. Mr. Okada seems to give up keeping his job as a director if Japan loses. It's worth watching even though the amount of time for sleep may decreases.
Although ihe game was televazed at midnight,I watched it to the last. Japan defeated Katar with a score of 3-0. I was so excited as the goal scenes were repeatedly broadcasted during the game.
I heard a weatherman saying on a TV program, " According to the data, a severe winter seems to come around this season because we've had no typhoons this years so far." I'm very sensitive to the cold. Whenever I feel cold, I always say like this," Oh, it's vey cold! I can't stand it! Somebody help me!"
Climate these days is so severe that I cannot wake up early in the morning. What's worse, this terrible cold weather prevents me from sleeping quickly after lying on my bed. I fell asleep as late as at 4 o'clock yesterday(exactly today). This lifestyle must be bad for my health! But I can't sleep!! What should I do?
hi everyone i learned a new word `stunning` the day bifore yesterday i don't know its meaning exactly but it seems to mean `beautiful` it is used in a following situation `I draw a picture in school, look at this, mom` `wow, it's stunning`
My younger brother brought his girlfriend into his room ,which locate next to my room. I can hear what they speak, and I can't bear it. I'm now browsing 2ch in a living room. Do you think what I should do from now on?
I give you more information about her. She is a sister of my friend in high school (maybe just an acquaintance lol) and ofcourse he is male. To my regret, I do know that she doesn't have older sister.
What do you mean by "someone may appear as meals for man-eater"? I've thought it over for a while but after all I couldn't figure out the meaning of it.
>>580 uh-huh! Thanks to your post, now I understand the meaning of it! What, do you think, will become of him if you drive a car for 3 km with a man underneath it ?
may be your face face is ugly. As for me, I have a bad breath so my girlfriend run away from me. That's why I also haven't got married so far. I'm 36 years old.
i must clean my room. today i`m holiday! but idon`t sleep yet. im watching tv news, "english class of high school, teather and students have not to speak japanese from next year." i hear the news,i become be exisiting! i want to return student age. if i return old days, maybe study english that more!
>>634 Curious? Hennayatu!! I don't know why but maybe there's something wrong with my internal organs. I've had bad breath since I was a child, which made my life miserable. But now I don't mind it at all. it's OK. I've been able to accept my fate.
I'm sorry for my biginer and bad english. This is first responce in english. By the way, Why you responce with 'sage' mode in this thread? if we were responce with 'age' mode, we may get many new comers and more vivid thread than that of now.
Certainy, It's difficult to gather a lot of people only our proceeding conversaion with 'age' mode. But I think it will be more gather than now. How about you?
>>660 It's not what I've done but one of my friends has had quite an embarrassing one. one day in an English class, she wanted to say "can I sit here?" but her pronunciation was so japanese that it just sounded like "can I shit here?". And We all thought "Please don't...". Poor girl lol
>>660 I have one though this is not what I experienced.
He went to a place where the examination of 'Eiken' took place, and then he was waiting for the interview test to start, sitting in front of the class room. Some minutes after his waiting, his name was called. Generally, when someone enter class room to have a interview, he is supposed to say first 'May I come in ?' after he open the door. However, what he uttered after opening the door was.. 'May I help you?'. He was completely ignored by an examiner, he said.
I think I've caught a bad cold...especially my throat feels scratchy and raw. I bet it's all swallen and red. I wonder what kind of medication I should take for my cold. I have only BAFARIN now. I should've been more careful and remenbered to take extra nourishment over the last few days. It'd be wiser to take a few days off and get completely better than force my self to go to college and get even worse.
I blow my nose everyday, so I say grace that my nose is not broken, now I say it again and again. All of me seems to have totally become the nose. thank you for reading me.
People who were born and brought up in foreign country say TOEIC is too easy not to fall asleep. Japanese who are majoring foreign languages say the same thing. Ordinary people in Japan say it is not too difficult but contains too many questions to complete in time.
Ummh, TOEIC is well known for its most examinees are Japanese and Korean. It is almost unknown all over the world except the two countries. What about do you guys think?
Gone are the days when we said anything without hesitation. from now on, we better be on our toes. especially when we come to the racial, ethnic issues. Heck so is every forum now!
im fallin love in american guy. i hang out with him twice. One day.i called him but he didnt answer and he didnt call me back.Since that day, heignores me. I cant understand his action and what happened to him.
I don't know what Americans are like because I've never got acquainted with one of them so far. Are there any characteristics peculiar to them? I surely have some images for them from a variety of sources of information such as books, TV, and so forth, though.
“Where do you want to meet?” “Hehe.” “No, seriously, I’d like to take you out for tea.” “That’s fine, I know a great place, Hehe.” “Whatever, if you’re going to be silly about it, let’s just get some snack cakes instead.” “Ho-ho.”
I have a crush on a man. Recently, he begun avoiding me and treated coldly. I don't know what should I do. I really feel sad. Yeah, I realize that what I need to do is to forget him. But it's not so easy because I truly love him.
Have you ever heard "dog fighting"? In the Texas state, where many people share a passion for watching pit bulls tear each other apart in a four-meter-square pit.
The training techniques are brutal. Dog owners force harsh training on dogs.
At the fight the dogs tear at each other's mouths, jaws, jecks and genitals. The fighting usually ended when a dog refused to confront the opponent. Such dogs are usually drowned or bludgeoned to death the next day.
Dr.Timothy Harkness, of the Houston Humane Society said “Death was more pleasant than what they had to exist for.”
>>761 What kind of torture have you received from your husband? Isn't it torture which your skin of the knee is scrubbed with an emery paper? By teh way , may I ask you to beat your thigh with a Metal baseball bat ?
In the beginning I'll bind you with a rope and then fix your body firmly on the bed. After that I"ll drop candle wax to the sensitive parts of your body.
>>782 Of course it's you, who are, I guess, a native speaker of English. I'm going to go all the way into your town to take your life. Better dig in! your days are numbered. Watch out for someone knocking on the window from outside at midnight. lol
I had a terrifying nightmare: a man whom I've never seen pouncedat me and took off my underwear. I was so astonished that I wasn't able to move at all. He begun to caress my body; nape, nipple and pussy. what a great technique he had! I have never had such an corporal pleasure before. At the last moment, I woke up. He was not able to attain his aspiration, i.e. insertion. I look forward seeing him tonight, too.
>>785 Oh, I just understood why you suddenly vanished in front of me. Let's play the rest tonight. But you should put much effort to keep on sleeping and stay there much more.
>>795 I'm really glad I've met you at last! In my dreams, I was wandering around here and there in search of mysterious man who gave me a dazzling pleasure. Tonight is the very opportunity we could unite. Wearing seductible lingerie, I'm waiting for you.
Do you realize how severe your conduct hurt me? It made me sad. It never occure to me that you would do it. I don't want to believe it yet. The fact your wife has got pregnant killed me.
>>798 That's strange! My wife and I have been bored with each other for a long time. So she must have cheated on me behind my back. Anyway, it's only you that I really love from the bottom of my heart. Believe me!
>>802 If possible, I'd like to hold you tight with all my might so that I could show you how much I love you. You are my sunshine! You are my everything! I won't last a day without you!
>>811 You must have made a fatal mistake which could lead to your company's bankruptcy. And your boss maust have been reprimanded by the president. That is why your boss was mad at you. See?
I'm filled with anxiety. Now the economic downturn caused by global financial crisis is becoming worse rapidly. Unemployment of the United States is skyrocketing, and what's more, it will certainly influence Japanese labor market. It is not difficult to predict that a good many people are likely to lose their job. My primary concern is the augmentation of the suicide rate. People who are suffering from paying off housing loan must be distressed about making ends meet. I hope the recession will recover soon!
>>824 Was yesterday your birthday? It's a coincidence! You are a Pisces, right? My dear man, too. To tell the truth, I intended to e-mail him for the congratulation of his birthday. But some hesitation forced me to abandon the idea. Considering his position, my act would run him into trouble.
>>926 In Japan, we call a girl like you who are modest " Yamato nadesiko (大和 撫子)." No other man is happier than the man who is loved by you. If I were in his shoes, I could eaily find you no matter how many girls there were around me!
>>828 Thank you!! Your words relieved me from melancholy. A little while ago, I have been refused mildly by him. I can't say anymore, here. I am about to burst into tears right now.
I will face up to the bitter reality and make the best of it.
>>826 I think there's no position by which a woman can't send e-mail to celebrate her boy-friend's birth day. I think you didn't have to hesitate to send e-mail. But if there's another problem, I can't say anything about it...
For some reason, I can understand how it feels. I have many people I don't tell the birthday (or whatever) celebration to, even though I do it only in mind. Anyway cheer up, thinking about his special day and wishing his happiness quietly does mean to you two, I guess.
>>832>>833 I am appreciative of your replies! You gave my spirits a lift!! I have just lost my confidence. Although I may keep loving him for a while, I am sure I will be able to forget him soon.
Hi! Guys! Do you know "Desperate Housewives"? This is the most enjoyable story I have ever seen. The features that differentiate this from others are the point that have various factors, not only love but also suspense. By the way, I love Bree Van De Kamp because of her graceful behavior. I am planning to see "season 3" on rental DVD next week.
>>838 Oh...It's tough thing for me...explaining... Dr.(a woman) who legal medical test agent, tests many many skeltons. The skeltons are crime victims. The Dr. relieves all details of truth from the skeltons.
With a FBI agent(a man ex-army ranger), she makes investigations of victims' bones.
My study was the word "Roast". What does it mean? "Roast" means "GASAIRE" in japanese,in fact!Surprisingly!
>>842 Wow, is it me? Truly me? Thanks, but it's indeed unbelievable for me that you judged me "gifted". It was 40 points that I got the last English test in my high school. (Of course I'm bad at Grammer...) I guess the person who gets such point is not so 'exellent', do you? ;)
By the way, do you know any foreign English forum, which is frequent and casual like 2ch? I wanna talk anybody like German, French, English. Because I'm interested in these country at world history class.
I'm sorry I was being rude and wasn't aware of hurting your feelings. I want to apologize to you all. I realize I have to observe myself seriously, behave myself and make lots of apology.
You know, you can simply say anything nice in word without really meaning them. In case you have to show your sincere apology, money is the best policy.
Although avaricious capitalism is about to end, many people, include 857, continue to revere fuckin' money. We should notice that money is not enough to satisfy our hearts. There are a lot of important things than money.
How can i describe my feeling? It's certain that i love my boss, but i can't express my complicated emotion supplely. He might misinterpret my words, and what's more, he will despise me at worst. Damn! My disposition is pessimist essentially!
No! There is scarcely any doubt that he's cool. I wish you all could have seen him!
Unfortunately, I all but was not able to talk with him today. With the aim of becoming on intimate terms with him, I am planning to send e-mail frequently.
What? why do you know I'm a fast speaker? It's a surprise! Yeah, I realize that speaking hurry is by no means suitable as to human relations. Okey, I'll try to mend that habit as possible as I can.
Oh, no! The plan will ruin everything because it's too early. The "love love " beam emitted from your eyes has not reached him yet. You should go up the stairs of love step by step.
Hi guys! Thank you. But I have had a occurrence which killed me today.
He had hurt me by a certain news in early February and I just have been wounded my mind again by his act today. I felt sad, really sad. I don't know how I face up to this... Thank you for your listening.
Do you know a song titled "abayo",which was sung by Ken Naoko? It's hard for me to translate the lyric into English, so I'm going to carry it as it is in Japanese.
>>879 Hi, You were right. I have betted on an e-mail, I had sent yesterday, which included a preposterous notion. However, I ended up getting no answer. Okay, I have to change my mind. As long as I work with him, he is my boss, thus I need to behave appropriately. I am sure I can do it. With hoping for the next life...
Well, I thank you so much. Oh! I think you might as well become a fortuneteller!!
If I were you, I'd look for another my Mr. right, but I really know the meaning of a saying , so many men, so many minds. So it's all up to you! Everything would be all right with you if just working with him could make you feel happy.
I also remember her saying that phrase. It is when her romance collapsed, isn't it? Contrary to her appearance, she is powerful woman. I want to imitate her temperament.
>>898 I think your English is excellent. Radio is useful for your study. I hope you can see "Space Ship Red dwarf" in English soon! I am sure you can do it!!
>>900 Why did I forget the existence of NHK Radio Engilsh Conversation? New progurams are just starting in April. I will examine which program is suitable for me on the web site!
This time is my first conversation in English except for my learning in school class and it is the first step in my using English. I am truly grateful. Thank you for saying good words for me!
It's a my most pleasure time, yeah, having a leisurely bath! I usually drop essential oil into bath tub, I prefer "Bergamot", which makes me happy and relaxed.
>>902 I can't write here without a electronic dictionary or a grammar book. I borrowe a lot of sentences from them.....cheat? XD←I wanted to use it once since I saw it used in YOUTUBE.
I think that I want to visit here sometimes. Thank you for your kindness.!!!
Why do you visit here so often? I mean you seem to have a better command of English than the dwellers of this thread. I visit here from time to time to write something. I've been a regular user since the begining when this thread was bulit. So probably I'm second to none in taking advantage of it. I would often post something in " chat in English" thread . At that time when Yukorin nerds monopolized the thread, it had an atmosphere that even a poor English speaker like me could join it easily. But I feel it has changed recently.
>>905 Okay, Let me explain. The reason why I visit here so frequently was that I like short and concise sentences. Another thread I had joined before made me little fun, because of a lot of returnees talking about things which I couldn't understand. However, If you feel awkward to my visiting here, I am gonna refrain from frequency of visit. How about the way I yield as that? You have anything else to denounce me? If so, please let me know. Even though, whatever acrimonious thing you say I will obey it.
>>906 Denounce you? What for? You've got me wrong . This is not my thread and I'm not such a person as to say a mean thing like that. You never know my mind is broader than the Pacific Ocean. Needless to say, please feel free to visit here anytime! But I think that you will soon get bored wit this thread because those who are fluent in English rarely visit here.
>>907 Er, Is this right that a person who gets so angry as you call "fabyori", right? OH!! Sorry, I did it again. Forget it. You praised my English, though, I think yours linguistic ability is also good. I am rather worry about that if you will be bored here.
>>908 I make it a habit to visit here once in a while to write something in English. I'm convinced that keeping a diary is the best way to improve my English skills. But I'm not so deligent as to write diary every day, so I try to make use of this thread as often as possible. Well, I don't have enough English ability to keep company with you. You don't know how laborious it is for me to make even a simple English sentence.
>>909 I understand how you felt at the time. Even Japanese, don't you think it tough to talk with a stranger smoothly? I don't have such a courage as to talk with a foreigner person to person in English.
I like English songs these days. My favorite top 5 songs these days. 1 「With or Without you」 U2 2 「Give me up」 Micheal Fortunati 3: 「We're All Alone」 Boz Scaggs 4: 「I Fought The Law」 The Clash 5: 「BITTER SWEET SYMPHONY」 the verve estra Engrish song department: 「Tell me why」 penpals
I have came to like Karaoke recently. These days, I am going to Karaoke house every weekend. Karaoke is one of my most important things that I throw away my stress.
Oh,Sorry...I will take out the things which I throw away next time and dump these into a trash can in my room. By the way, It seems that I have a ability that I can throw away things over the mountai and sea.
>>910 Although I am unwilling to response to your adherent cant, I can't help telling you that I've found you have a remarkable tendency to drive out people whose disposition can not live up to your taste. In addition, you are so similar to a woman whom I dislike of.So it is easy for me to imagine that what real you is. Therefore, when I'm looking at your words, I can't avoid to remind her. In a word, I have no intention to visit here once and for all. I wish you could have improved your English. GOOD LUCK!
>>917 What an amazing emotional ups and downs you have! I'm speechless! lol First of all, Im not a woman but a middle-aged man. I'm sure that you are definitely a woman because women are always like that. Secondly, I don't undersatnd at all which part of my words made you so angry. When you first come to this thread, I thought that you were a native speaker. And I've learned a lot of difficult words and phrases from your sentences, which made me happy. I enjoyed responding to you posts but at the same time, I sometimes got frustrated because I couldn't keep up with you due to my poor English. Anyway, I'm so sad that you misunderstand me.
The Japanese system which makes me be out of work has negative effects on Japanese society. I am a fortune of Japan, but the Japanese government don't treat me like that. What a silly nation Japan is. Incidentally, I am a Japanese,of course.
>>3 Me.too. >>14 Yes, I am studying English every day! >>16 Ouch, I couldn't watch Olympic opening. >>35 Me.too. >>37 Why? Who can write in this thread? At this time Chat in English > (no thread) > this thread
This thread has nothing to do with one's English level. It depends on to what extent you can express your thoughts or ideas in English. while speaking English, one who rarely gives rise to misunderstands to others is called "high level."
It was useful for me to know way of using "give rise to ".
It cost forty thousand yen to fix my bike on(in?) last April. Yesterday I found that my bike fell down by strong wind. I am bieng afraid of status of the bike. Today I must check it. I wish my bike wasn't out of order.
>>923 There used to a thread named "Let's talk in English" and I liked it. But someone submitted a request of its deletion, which made me feel so offensive. Because there were a lot of another crap threads in this Englsih board.
I wrote a starange sentence. So,you seem to have written here without 928 →So,you ...............................I can't express what I want to. I must study English harder and harder.
I have liked cats since last year. I had lived with her for about eight months when I lived in Thiba. My brother is a master of her,or a femal cat. She isn't mine. She is a house cat.
I want a cat,but I can't do in my aprtment house I will get cat someday.
I have no idea why you knew my secret number. You must be familiar with computer things. I've learned how to use it on my own by reading a book, so I only have basic skills such as typing and so on. This time, I've made a bit complicated number adding alphabets. How about this one? Basically, I don't mind it at all.
I am not familiar with computer things, too. I use a browser "Jane style ",so it seems to display the letters written in e-mail section. IE browser displays letters if your cursor is on the name section. Sorry ,I mean no harm to you.
I said to my girlfriend,"I want to eat beaf " She seid to me, "If you ate Camaembert cheese with Mustard, you would feel to eat beat. " I have no money.I am out of work. She bought a pot of Mustard for me. I really want beaf.........
Honey, are you still in a bad mood? I reread my privious post and realized that which part of my words hurt you. What I really wanted to say was that "bokuno eigo ryokuga naibakkarini atantano aiteni jyuubunnni narenakute gomenne."
When I consulted a dictionary for some words, I chanced upon a word "brown-nose." It would be esaier for me to memorize them if every English word came from the similar root like this. Guess what this word is derived from? You'll never forget the meaning of it like me when you know the origin. Yuck!!
The game between Japan and Korea is being televised now. I feel a bit relaxed when I am watching it. Because There were narrowly escaped from being on the edge of a cliff yesterday.
>>959 Well, I LOVE watching sport shows, but sometimes I really feel like I'm wasting my time, especially when I watch a marathon race from the start to the end... Most of the time, nothing interesting happens at all.
Thank you for your reply. I think it need a lot of devices for broadcasting companies to attract people to marason programme. In fact, I like to watch it.
You can say that agin! Somehow, I can't help watching marathon races from the start to the end when they are on-air. Especially when they are international races or Ekiden road relays by high school students. In fact, in Japan, they earn comparatively higher viewing rate when they are televised.
It's only me, but everytime I watch WBC Japan's opposite is Korea. And I thought today's game was the semifinal but apparently it wasn't. It's hard for me to understand the system.
My penis is winding just like a serpent. I grap it and begin to rub intensely like a mad beast. Then semen go out of my penis, and I get mysterious feelings.
First Install ventrilo or skype on ur computer. Then u r ready to study English(speaking n hearing )
Second Write daily with English everyday. This will grow your writing skills up dramatically.
...but hey.. I have to say I have never done these things lol. What I did was only plaing net game(World of Warcraft). You know my english is suck.. and I cant write what i want clearly in English. But this was enogh for playing a game & communicate with foreign ppls.
wet blanket --a person who says or does something that stops other people enjoying themselves
I found the expression when I saw a board about a TV-show. From what I understood on the board, some fans of the show were satisfied with the contents and many other fans were not. One of the unsatisfied fans said 'I don't want to be the wet blanket, but I don't like...' So, it seems that a person can be 'a wet blanket.'
When I saw Dalvish get a hit and a run and it made the score 3-3, I was almost ready for loosing the game and desperately thinking that it was just another stupid baseball game, I wouldn't care at all, all the players in Japan (and Korea) did their best though. Anyway, it was really a good game and I am happy now!
Oh, and I didn't know how to spell 'Dalvish' untill today...
