Hey!!! you NEETS, nerds, Akiba maid-cafe frequenters, Youtube-link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis, Yukorin enthusiasts, Gloved hitwoman maniacs, Internet-addicted housewives-in-therapy, Diplomats' spoiled sons, Losers who can't remember Kanji characters, Big-boobs fans, and Morons in the Red Square who believe Tokyo is the promised land,
Damnit, I actually wanted to make a new thread and break the ritual by posting another first post. I wonder if people would have posted in it, or just ignored it and created another thread. What do you guys think?
>>8 They won't start blaming you for everything, that's just your narrow-mindedness coming into play. And even if they do, at least they're getting their problems out, versus keeping them all pent up inside.
I can only admire peple who has the ACTUAL EXPERIENCES. so I usually don't listent to the councellors. They only studies with the books. If what they say are based on the theory with their actual experiences, I would listen to the person.
Do you want to learn baseball from the one specialist who knows the theory but never played a baseball game?
counselors on psychological matter is the same thing.
>>7 It really depends on the counsellor, but if it's a stupid shink type of thing that only does psychoanalysis and stuff, it can make the matter worse, basically bacause they just teach how to blame clients' parents for everything. However, it still works to make kids go out of the house and seek some help, I must say. So I'm not denying all types of counselling here.
Counselors are trained to understand the human psyche, and many of them have years upon years of experience. Just because you haven't experienced killing someone, doesn't mean that you shouldn't advice against it because you've never done it yourself.
Also, this entire ordeal with people getting counseled blaming their parents for everything is just something that's been blown way out of proportion by the media. Any country with a decent medical system has already weeded out the bad and unworthy counselors.
IMO, I think have entirely new thing. put the whole thing in perspective. try to do something you have never done before. cruise in a yacht, join a parlor game club (such as chess, backgammon). Do something you have never done before. seeing a councellor is just wasting money. I dunno there is a good councellor in America but in Japan, it's not popular to see the counsellors.
I hope they would like you change in thinking. there is not only black and white. There is not only win and lose. when the time comes that you woudl stop saying this or that (always comparison), it's the time! hehehe
If you think it's working for you, then that's great, but I've seen some people who have just got hooked on shrinks instead of their previous problems. With them, they are functioning in society, so that's better I guess, if it is the real goal of their life.
As I'm sure most of you know, this girl, MRirian, is a youtuber with the aspiraration to go to Japan who's been posting staring videos. But did you already get an update on what's happening to her lately? Since when she changed her current living place from America to Japan, which isn't true for now, she got uncountable numbers of viewers mostly from America. You know, America is a superpower and its people are so arrogant that the majority of them'd never accept other cultures, especially if it's Japan - they call those with interest in Japanese stuff weeaboos and bash them. Well, um, that's not the point here, hehe. What I'm here for is to inform you that MRirian was finally asked to come to Japan by an IT company named Gyao. (personally the staff members sound/look really disgusting, though). Anyways, check the link I put above. I think it's her choice whether or not accepting the offer, but some of the residents in the thread have been asking for more. They ask about every move she made and make a big deal. That's gross. Like they start to edit wikipedia and make some graphic stuff to entertain her for the valentain's day or something. From an objective viewpoint, the way they are making a big deal is quite disgusting and giving me the creeps. And the attitude Magibon took so far? It was quite stupid, too. She wouldn't listen to anyone if s/he take nuetral opinions, just ignore most of them. The only ones left there were fanatics like "come to japan!! you are kawaii!". Oh, Pathetic. That's why Japanese males are being the target of laughter. But come to think of it, miserable kinds of Japanese old males and MRirian are best matches. Staring Magibon and poor Japanese. lol Better lolz than Emily.
If it's so stupid, why do you keep stalking that thread? I don't really get it. Just admit that you are the biggest fan in that pathetic way and live with it.
and Emily is not related to the issue. always you put the other's name. you always like to compare two people or two things. That's the root of all evil. That's the root of all the mistakes. they are all individual people. They are totally different. Emily is emily she lives as she likes and Magibon is magibon. She wants to be successful in Japan and nothing to be compared with Emily.
i'm not her fan. but i got tired of her staring... one pattern, no skill. people get tired and get to want much more stimulation. can she meet the people's expectation?
japanese males are just exploited by white young females. easy prey. easy way to make money! netstars like magibon must be having fun with a nice looking white guy. dream on japanese ugly geek!
Magibon is getting more popular than Emily is. Last I heard, Emily is living in Japan and attending a school for Japanese lessons. What the two of them have common is they want to be a celeb in Japan.
Japanese people love to compare them, didn't you know? Either of them is still only known to a small number of Japanese people who love to read online articles such as "who is the next Leah Dizon?" and exchange their opinions. Some japanese males have white fetish and, as I see it, they would open their mouth to speak like "I'm supporting you, Magibon! So will you be my gf?" or whatever. That's the way Japanese are. White girls with blond hair are the symble.
>>23 Well, maybe someone deeply involved with the whole thing has turned his nose. The same root, isn't it? Some things change but some things never do. LOL
wake up! see the reality. watch youself in the mirror. abandon impossible dream. magibon becomes high-nosed and content by praise after paraise. she cares only for herself. essentially she is a bad woman! thanks.
lol maybe Magibon will be successful in Japan? I dunno.
that's true. Emily has some kind of air that people would hate. I don't know what it is exactly but when I saw her Youtube, I sensed her unnaturalness. Magibon? I don't think she is natural either. she apprarently acts like one anime idol. but in any case, as long as guys are happy viewing her, it's none of my business. she'll make a lot of money out of it. otaku is a huge market in Japan lol
>>28 >she cares only for herself. I knew it. She's been skipping and ignoring most of her response videos except for, of course, the invitation video from Gyao. I really don't like it the way she is. She's super-self-centered, as if often the case with American girls, though. Sorry if some of you are american girls. Probably it's a stereotype, but it's still true.
She's no Leah Dizon, either. She doesn't talk to people even when in English, so why could she in Japanese? Impossible. I guess she's boring and making us sick. Anyway, she has big boobs. So hopefully, she can find a place for porn videos.
She's no Leah Dizon, either. She doesn't talk to people even when in English, so why could she in Japanese? -------------------- is she autism or mentally challenged? she seems to be living with her parents at the age of 21. isn't it immmature for american adult? what is she doing? she seems to be doing nothing more than part time job.
yes, i'm a male and much older than her and still living in the parent's home. can't laugh!
>Magibon? I don't think she is natural either. I agree with you. She's trying her best to pretend to be cute, staring. And did you see the discription box in the right part of some of her videos? She says she's embarassed uploading those boring videos. lol Why do that, then? She knows how to make it like "it's embarassing to show off my boobs to you, but I'll do it to favor your attentions, Japanese boys, look at me! How's my figure? Drooling, aren't you? My boobs are yummy. Eat them if you can!". That's her. lol
>>34 If she signed a contract with a porn video maker, I'd buy her videos. But it's a waste of time and money to watch her youtube videos any longer, personally.
how about straight long nose? But we and americans have totally different standard. so average american white's nose is too long(high?) for japanese. http://www.sptimes.com/News/020900/photos/nie-faces.jpg do you think a guy on the left below is long nosed? I think his nose is longer(higher) than average white's . But his nose is straight and not hooked. How do you explain?
>>39 maybe so. but it's not what people wish. After knowing Yukorin's innocence was just a facade, otaku improved their insight little bit more than before. lol
Population of Tokyo is almost the same in number as in Moscow. But I envy to Tokyo, because it has much better transportation systems.
Moscow metro is just not enough. It's overcrowded during rush hours. It operates mostly somewhat old trains which have a passive ventilation and no noise isolation at all. Monorail system is just a piece of junk. It said that it was constructed for Olympic games (it construction started before results were announced ― in the end Moscow lost). Officials just got some money from it and the project was almost abandoned ― this line should twice as long, actually. Though, there was a recent announcement that this line will be continued, and the price for ticked was lowered from 50 RUR (about 2$) to 19 RUR (same as price of metro ticket; ~0.7$)
Morons who insist 旦 is empty, use your imagination. It's just cold drink inside 旦 not, hot drink. Got it? It's a lot better to drink something hot at this time of year.
But for people in southern hemisphere, cold drink is just what doctor ordered, obviously.
Tell me your opinion about the nevels of each auther below. Biased opinion is OK.
Sidney Sheldon, John Grisham, Daniel Steel, Steven King, Micheal Clyton
Are there other popular novelists whose novel is always on the top seller's list when published? I'd prefer entertainig, easy to undersatnd for English learners, page turner. Any recommend? --- I heard average American university student think they are eager to sleep with attractive man/woman even if they are not going out but just friends. There is a tendency to sleep with anybody attractive without thinking about developing to relationship. They take it as a game. Is that true?
>>51 I doubt that dolphin is as delicious as uni. Then again, I've never eaten dolphin. If it tastes anything like snake, then it's not so good.
But even better than uni, I'm about to start baking a (hopefully) delicious cake. All the ingredients are ready, but I just can't find the greaseproof paper, with which to line the baking tins. Anyway, when done, I'll post pictures, even if it turns out to be a disaster. If it burns the house down, I'll post pictures of the ashes of my home. The cake will surely be mixed in with them somewhere...
>>46 yeah, I guess it would be same thing as in Moscow metro, after all. I hate when I have to wait for another overcrowded train, because the crowd on platform was too big.
i like a japanese author Miura Ayako. she was a christian. her books are pulished in english as well. a few of those books are; lady garacia, shiokari touge, so on. you can read flawlessly because her writing is so attractive.
One 18.25 ounce package chocolate cake mix. One can prepared coconut pecan frosting. Three slash four cup vegetable oil. Four large eggs. One cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Three slash four cups butter or margarine. One and two third cups granulated sugar. Two cups all purpose flour. Don't forget garnishes such as: Fish shaped crackers. Fish shaped candies. Candy coated peanut butter pieces. Shaped like fish. One cup lemon juice. Alpha resins. Unsaturated polyester resins. Fiberglass surface resins. And volatile malted milk impoundments. Nine large egg yolks. Twelve medium geosynthetic membranes. One cup granulated sugar. An entry called 'how to kill someone with your bare hands.' Two cups rhubarb, sliced. Two slash three cups granulated rhubarb. One tablespoon all-purpose rhubarb. One teaspoon grated orange rhubarb. Three tablespoons rhubarb, on fire. One large rhubarb. One cross borehole electro-magnetic imaging rhubarb. Two tablespoons rhubarb juice. Adjustable aluminum head positioner. Slaughter electric needle injector. Cordless electric needle injector. That will deodorize and preserve putrid tissue.
do you know the word "itai"? that's 痛い (it hurts) but as a slang, we use it to other's circumstances. we often use it when we talk about someone's gossip.
"oh he is itai" means he is overdoing. or he is unnaturally doing something. If she'd wear something too fashonable which doesn't suit her, we say "oh she's itai". By using this word, itai, we can even disrespect anybody who is in a higher ranking, older people etc.
>>60 My great-aunt taught me. She can't bake cakes anymore, though, because she is senile. She was a very good baker, and this is just her basic chocolate cake recipe. Going to try and make the decoration more fancy, though. Just turned them out on cooling trays... http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/1182/cakes01nh2.jpg
More once it's finished. Two halves of an unfinished cake just isn't interesting. Maybe next week I'll try >>65's recipe, and post the pictures once I'm out of prison.
oh nice igirisujin-san! I would like to bake chocolate cake by your recipe! yay! but I have a few questions;
what is "slash" fish shaped cracker...(is it easy to get in UK? I wonder if I'd be able to find it) fishe shaped solid waste... candy coated peanut butter....
oh man...forget it...there are lots of things har do find in Japan lol
i like subuta chinese food it is delicious it is sweet and sour i like it i like it cooked at oosaka o-sho restaurant
by the way, do you like to share bodies with someone? and do you want toshare bodies with me? i'm not predudiced, so it may be male or female that wants share bodies with me.
>>67 I think your aunt is happy that she passed down the recipe to you.
You can have it every day and still it looks it'll last two weeks. Or maybe you give some to your neighbor and she falls in love with you and started live together, less than a year she deliver your baby. Congratulations on your being daddy.
>>53 >Sidney Sheldon, John Grisham, Daniel Steel, Steven King, Micheal Clyton I haven't read any of their books, sorry! I do know that Steven King tends to be a little...weird. The story will be normal, but then there will be a really wild twist at the end. My friend read "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" when he was in 7th grade, so that's probably not too hard to read. Danielle Steel writes a LOT of books, mostly for women readers. She has so many books, that if you like romance and mystery, she's probably a good one to look into. John Grisham is a Danielle Steel who writes for men. Thrillers, political, mysteries-- things like that. He's probably harder to read than Danielle Steel, but more interesting if you are a man. I don't know the other two, so I can't really help you with those. I know that Michael Crichton writes a lot of books. He wrote "Jurassic Park" and "Timeline" which both became movies. So, I think those would be pretty good to read, especially if you have seen the movie. That way you can follow along.
I don't think so. When you say someone is 痛い, you mean he looks/ sounds/is stupid, airhead while in some cases, he himself is not aware that everybody thinks he is 痛い. Well, that's my understanding.
>>81 really? oh...then my understanding was incorrect. but yeah, it seems like it. he himself is not aware that everybody thinks he is itai (silly? I thought overdoing or focing something too much which is also silly) thanks for telling me!
>>68 Those fish shaped crackers are extremely common in the UK. You can find them at almost any shop that sells food. They're most popular when people have guests or family over, to just put a load in a bowl so they can help themselves (without costing too much). As for candy-coated peanut butter, I think that's more an American thing, so ウィスコンシン人 might be able to help you there.
>>73 That's terrible! One of my neighbours is about 90, and the other is in her 50s and smokes far too much. And before anyone says it, no, I'm not into anything of that sort.
I just want to give my input on the whole "Japanese killing dolphins" ordeal. Bare with me here.
I don't see how people can mean that killing dolphins for food is wrong. Most people think that all human lives have equal value, yes? If so, that means that the ones saying that killing dolphins is wrong, while not being vegetarians themselves, are huge hypocrites.
Just because someone is smarter than someone else, does that mean that it's OK to kill the one that's not as smart, but it's not OK to kill the smart one? Also, just because something is very cute to many people, does not mean that one shouldn't be allowed to kill it. Where are the people protesting against other, less cute, animals' deaths?
I don't see anybody crying over the deaths of cods, which are caught in the millions. Why is it OK to kill cods, but not dolphins? Just because they are smaller, not as cute, and not as smart, they are OK to kill? Give me a break, what kind of fucked up reasoning is that?
In the end, I think the people protesting against killing dolphins are huge hypocrites, and deep down they don't really care about the dolphins, they just want to feel better about themselves.
---
Those are my two cents, take 'em or leave 'em. By the way, I haven't really read too much about this whole ordeal, could anybody fill me in on something? Do they kill the dolphins very inhumanely and make them suffer just to have fun, like many American slaughterhouses did back in the day? If so, I of course think that doing so is wrong, they shouldn't try to instill pain in the dolphins, just kill them quickly and save both parties' time.
>>83 I don't mean to flatter you but you drew the picture really well. The hiragana is very good, too. I would binge on it if I were younger but now at this age, I shy away from eating those colorful line, such as yellow blue, red, white because they muxt have color additives.
>>53 wrote ウィスコンシン大生, meaning the university student of Wisconshin, but >>54 thought it's ウィンスコンシン大王, meaning Wisconshin the Great, that doesn't make any sense so it's a little bit funny.
So に見える can mean both "looked like" and "seen by", correct?
"警察に見えた" can mean both "looked like the police" and "(I) was seen by the police", correct? If you can't say "警察に見えた" for "(I) was seen by the police", how do you say it?
how about straight long nose? But we and americans have totally different standard. so average american white's nose is too long(high?) for japanese. http://www.sptimes.com/News/020900/photos/nie-faces.jpg do you think a guy on the left below is long nosed? I just tryied to remember what I learned at junior high. In grammar test, we have to distinguish which れる/られる means which of the four basic れる/られる meanings.
21st century is said to be a cetury of insects. The amount of farm produce worldwide can't keep up with exploding world population and prtein in insects is said to be a good source of nutrition.
During World War II, we Japnese ate grass hopper becaus of food shortage. Even now in some areas in Japan, people eat grass hopper. Maybe in countries in South East Asia, too.
975 :ViolentAJ:2008/02/12(火) 11:43:55 Japanese hate blacks and japanese women are sluts that open theoir legs easily to all races but blacks.
Think you dumb yellow idiots, it's not Blacks giving AIDS to japanese women, it is the non-Black gaijin that the whores love so much that spread STDs, as well as the faggots (okama in your language).
And yes, I am an "anti-semite". I know that the zionists were behind a whole lot of shitty things.
Who brought up this antisemitic still anti-racist site, great site in the previous thread? at last propaganda of liberal antisemitism got all the way to japan? that's great! more and more people are awakening to the fact that has been forbidden to tell in public.
http://judicial-inc.biz/1_master_supreme.htm the owner of this site have a non white partner. he is not racist. jews are always trying to label anti-semite as racist or nazi, something like that and to ruin the arugument.
>"The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" when he was in 7th grade, you mean 13 years old?? Oh my. I tried reading this book before but gave up. I didn't think it was esay to read. Most of all, I didn't find the book interesting. I thought I chose a difficult book among Steven King's novel. Since then, I haven't tried his novels.
I remember brother and sister or only a girl gets lost in the woods. She is a fan of the then Boston Red Sox's closer...
>>94 The red dye known as 'Allura Red AC' was originally a replacement for Amaranth (E123), which was found to be a possible carcinogen. However, Allura Red is not recommended by the EU to be consumed by children, as it causes hypersensitivity in some people, and may have adverse effects on those with aspirin allergies.
The red Cochineal dye (used in many European countries) comes from the cochineal insect, from South and Central America. France is the biggest importer of the dye itself, but Japan is one of the biggest importers of the insect. So for people like >>90, they don't have to worry so much about colour additives which are red or orange from cochaneal. So, >>90, I hope you find a delicious cake too.
>>104 When you turn something out, it basically means you empty a container or something from a container. In this case, turning them out meant turning the cake tin upside-down so that the cake would come out and on to the mesh rack, for cooling. If you turn a bag out, you empty it of its contents, usually by turning it upside-down and shaking it onto a table.
>>110 ViolentAJ you don't know there are too many swingers here who want to have relation with black marines. there are too many yegger too. wearing hats sideways and pulling down pants are trend among foolish people, not small population!
Oh, i didn't know inverse doesn't function as verb.
by the way you can see long haiered, skinny but big boobed young white girl on 4ch right now. she is wearing t shirt and Low-rise jeans. i can definitely see her big tits on t shirt. she does it deliberately.
http://www.ntv.co.jp/oc/cast/marissa.html wow. she looks too mature. she looks old for her age... and she is british... lol looks like typical american celeb chick...
http://www.ntv.co.jp/oc/cast/ryan.html is he handsome or cute in america? he looks average or below average... his atmosphere kind of looks like otaku like me.
>>112 Yeah, 13 years old...I've never read it, so I don't know for sure how easy it is to read. Maybe try reading Harry Potter or something? The authors you mentioned write books mainly for adults, so that might make the reading level harder. I don't read the books, because I don't find them interesting. One of my favorite books is "The Golden Compass." It's by Phillip Pullman, and is an adventure story about a 12 year old girl, and kids around that age read it for the story. There's a lot of metaphors in there for religion and stuff, but I just thought it was an interesting story. You might look into that, but there are some big words that Phillip Pullman makes up: names like Pantalaimon, and objects like the Alethiometer, and they use Anbaric Power (electricity). It takes place in another Universe, that's why.
>>112 >About university students who want to sleep with everyone A lot of people go into college thinking that "everyone gets to sleep with people in college." So some of them probably ARE out to get as many people to sleep with as they can. Most of my friends and people that I know want relationships before it. But a lot of people in university know that they want a relationship "sometime" in the future, and so they will have small relationships that only last for a short amount of time, where the only reason they are in the relationship is to sleep with the other person.
But most people that I know are like the kids in "American Pie." Yes, they WANT to sleep with someone, but when it comes down to it, a relationship is really what's more important to them.
IT's like adele stephens or adele stevens. trivial matter. big boobs matter. of course adele is イギリス人's dream girl. typical british beatuy different from lindsey dawn mckenzie.
>A U.S. Marine who allegedly raped a 14-year-old Okinawa girl was turned over >to prosecutors Tuesday in a case that has prompted government officials to >voice outrage and warn the incident could affect the Japan-U.S. alliance >and the reorganization of U.S. bases in the prefecture.
>The arrest Monday of Staff Sgt. Tyrone Hadnott, 38, for the suspected rape of >a local junior high school girl Sunday night has rekindled memories of the 1995 >gang rape of a 12-year-old Okinawa girl by three U.S. servicemen, an incident >that triggered mass resentment against the U.S. military presence in Okinawa.
Even in Okinawa, one of the peaceful prefectures of Japan, happened this kind of rape issue, it's an easy guess things are more serious in Iraq.
Poor Okinawan girls. They are threatened by U.S Marines, who are in Okinawa because they are supposed to work for peace. I'm really sorry to hear the news and feel resemtment to America.
>>68 >>65 is a recipe of a delicious cake from Portal. "slash" means "/", i.e. "three slash four" actually means "3/4". Enjoy your geosynthetic membranes.
>>134 I don't understand what they are doing there, either. No wonder the residents of Okinawa prefecture are against US millitary bases. Japan should reconsider the way it is.
>>130 but iraqis and terrorists across borders kill many americans. americans are victims too. americans always have to be high on alert and often return with mental disorder. japanese won't kill or intimidate american soldiers. what a heaven japan is for american soldiers!
Poor U.S. Marines! They get raped by okinawian girls and then threatened and blackmailed‼ In this case America can cease ice-cream supply for marines, thus making them even more sad! Poor peace-keeping fellas!
>>138 they are great presence for china. japan is not ready to have our own millitary to fight against. so us millitary is meaningfull during this time.
i admit there is something wrong with us marines. but japan, especially okinawa is too ignorant and dreamy about politics. silly.
>>139 American millitary force members are excusively protected by the unfair rules they made against Okinawa, do you know? They know they won't be punished for doing anything to Okinawan people. Allegedly, they can get away from punishments even if they run over the okinawa citizens. What are they there doing? To threaten Japanese people??? I don't get it.
'Western' furry community is generally hated and gets mocked and trolled. (Mainly because of idiots who wear fursuits, who like diapers, who is just too fucked up and believe in inner fox or wolf (yeah, their fantasy is pretty limited).
>>142 I know there has been an unfair treaty which favors american criminal. but not being punished is exaggeration. many suspects have been convicted and thrown to jail.
everybody hesitate to say this notion. but i want to say. how does victicm girl get to know black? marine? was she merely attacked or attacked after some relatioship? did she show an unguarded point to take advantage of?
it's the criminal who is all wrong. but I want okinawan girls to be more cautious. unlike afghans, many okinawa people try to wear and act like their imaginery american.
>>147 That's a good point. They should learn their lessons from this experience and their parents should have told their children not to trust american soldiers. The okinawan people are known as really calm and gentle, and at the same time, very credulous.. But it's sad to teach them U.S soldiers shouldn't be trusted, isn't it? I hope most U.S citizens have the guts to criticize even their own forces and tighten the discipline to win the trust of Okinawan people. For now, their bad reputations aren't cleared easily.
in the middle east and india, ferocious man like lion is prefered. especially in the middle east, girls won't understand what is good about michael j fox and the like.
>>154 But you can say that again too. bin lid teory(i don't know precise words) by Joseph Nye. the theory that american military force is putting down japanese remilitarization as well.
Is it just me, or does every Asian female have a bush that's bigger than the Amazon downstairs? What happened, did the razor never hit the mainstream market in Asia? God, that's a huge turnoff for me.
>>167 Did you? I was a bit shocked that a young cute chinese girl exposed such a rubbish porn stuff. I know the political situation and history of China, whereas lots of women in there. By the way, who made or uploaded it?
I read about this. Actor Edison Chen (Infernal Affairs, Inital D) took his computer in for repair, where the pictures were then copied and distributed. Eight people were later arrested at a raid on the computer shop. >>168's image is apparently Vincy Yeung (at least I assume it is, from what Wikipedia says).
Hmm, Chinese people might do everything. In my understanding, they copyed lots of Japanese products including videogames illigally. So I could imagine this kind of news even if I was a little taken aback.
My question is that how to prevent this kind of actor or actress privacy. It's quite difficult to protect from paparazzi or people who want to take their photos, but you guys probably have some solutions for this.
>>174 Urm... it's weird... Usually, the colleagues don't allow to take photo unless they have sex. What about you? How do you feel about this weird story?
>>182 >>185 I think it was back in thread 101 (or 100?) that someone from Norway gave him the name. It translates to "pain man" so I thought it was appropriate.
>>191 Nothing, really... at least in my area, we usually use 'over' more than 'during' in that context. I think it's used more when explaining duration of long range time. Over the next 48 hours, over the revious month, and so on.
>>194 Not that I know of. Unless you mean when "the weekend is over." Then it does mean "after the weekend." If you did something "over the weekend," you did it on saturday or sunday (or both). If you did it "after the weekend" then you did it on monday (or somewhere around there). But you can say that "i'll do it when the weekend is over." Then you mean that you'll do it "after the weekend."
I'm not good at explaining things...so the short answer to your question is no.
I hate my current job. I have a paralegal degree but I haven't been able to put it to much use yet. I currently work as an automotive parts inspector. It's low pay, boring, and I don't like most of my co-workers. Although being an inspector has allowed me to learn new skills like how to use certain gauges and measuring tools and I recently became certified to drive a forklift. So my inspection job has benefited me a bit so I can't complain too much, but I wish I could find a better job.
>>197 get another job. but prob need more certificate? and it requires to have an extra work for your spare time, maybe? or stay in your current job and find something fun from there. maybe you are in the situation of this. good luck!

>>202 I think both parties don't have to compromise. they can beat the opponents eachother. As long as you (in the team or group) have one mutual opponents, your tie is deeply connected in them. so as a mean of the tool, they can use dolphine, whale. whatever... they can battle forever, prob they are too bored in life. lol well IMO, I am so happy to be used by others. coz it means they want me for reassurance.
it is rather ironical that being used sucks but once we know that life is up to you, we understand life is something that we can proceed with a lateral approach, it is honor to be played for. even you know his/her(the victimizer's) motive, it is honor to let him do whatever he likes. and you saved at least one person's life with dead boresome. and proably we can gain something a little from there too.
let me explain in simple words. when one group or two people are there and they don't get along very well, they need the mutual enemy. By having the enemy, their relationship work out really well. So about the dolphine or dogs activists, their activities are justfiled in order to be the real patriot or something. they were not a real patriot before doing this activities. They feel so satisfied by doing it.
I'm wondering about the night life in Tokyo. Is it any good? How far will I get with English? Do the Japanese girls that go out understand English, or will they be intimidated by it?
even Japanese don't understand English completely, you would still have fun in Tokyo. Don'T worry. The language is not too important. 70% is our communication is connected to eachother by nonverbal language, That's what I've heard.
Just because you can't tell which posts are mine, that doesn't mean I am hospitalized. I'm back from IV drip treatment in the morning today.
I couldn't sleep last night because of the mix of the pain and strange feeling in my foot so I was awake until 5:00 am or so. Of course I didn't forget to put an uho painkiller in my anus but as I often say, that doesn't work well enough for the kind of pain I feel.
I remember commenting on イギリス人's Saitama cake last night, saying that his grand aunt must be pleased to pass down the recipe of the cake to him or things like that. And maybe a few more posts. >>112 to ウィスコンシン大生 is mine, too.
The night before last night I couldn't sleep almost at all so, in total over two nights I just slept 3 hours. It's odd that the pain or strange feeling in my foot often starts before I go to bed. In the day time, my foot condition is not bad (I'm not saying it's perfect, sometimes it's bad even in the daytime) but before I go to bed, it starts to feel really bad. I think I need to take a nap when I can in the daytime to make up for the lack of sleep at night.
I saw my doctor yesterday and explained things to him and he decided to put more medical ingredients in saline, which is IV drip injected in me. I mean, total amount of salin injected in me is 250ml but medical ingredients in it has doubled comapred to the first IV drip. The next time I see him is on Friday and in the meantime I have to keep going to hospital just to get IV drip treatment.
>>189 I have been having severe pains and strange feeling in my foot coming and going. So I go to hospital everyday to get IV drip treatment. I was too frustrated by the excruciating pain there, I posted here to vent my frustration. My doctor subscribed two kinds of painkiller but both don't work enough. One type of painkiller is suppository so I have to put it in my anus in the middle of the night before I sleep. That's why I'm called Anus Otoko, named after Train man (電車男).
If I'm not wrong, you are in UK. I heard that if you live in UK long enough, your anal begins to look like Union Jack. I envy you.
---Anus Otoko aka Mr. Smertemann, painkiller man, anal haiku master--------
I thought you have hospitalized long time ago. too bad your pain is not treated yet. Why don't you be hospitalized? would it be healed completely by any chance? It is not to make you feel better but I have a similar problem or even worse. my pain in my neck is horrible. just horrible. together with my mental damage. But I am barely surviving.
I think I would get well soon. Even I have pain in me, I just have to go to work or school. I can't just stay home all day...that's only up to you. I can't go thru that accute pain all over again, but it might come back to me on and off.
I hope you just get the treatment as soon as possible and won't come back here anymore. I bet your nice doctor and nurses would treat you well. just put your painkiller and posting 2ch won't make your conidtion better. you need the physical recovery first.
>>126 I have read Harry Potter but I wouldn't say it's easy. Although it's written for kids, it's fantasy story and not based on real life, so for me it was not so easy to read. I can't believe Kids in English speaking countries read it over night. Even the one as thick as 5 inches or so.
Among them, I think Shydney Sheldon's novel is the easiest. Or Daniel Steels' followed by John Grisham and Steven king and Micheal. There are no fantacy factors in Shidney Sheldon and Daniel Steel's novels, different from Harry Potter, it's easy to me. Sometimes legal terms are here and there in Grisham's novels, so it's a little bit more dificult. I've never read Michael Crichton's novel.
I wanted to know American's people's take on those novelists. I've read someone say, Sidney Sheldon's novels are something stupid housewives eager to read in the kitchen. Maybe his novels (and Daniel Steels' too) are like articles of low rated tabloid newspaper full of celebrity gossip so some people don't welcome their novels.
Thank you for introducing "The Golden Compass." I'll check it later on Amazon. It sounds like the story is fantasy so it might be a little difficult to me.
>>127 Thank you for the input. I guess at the end of the day, it depends on you about how you act.
My foot is getting better but it's just inch by inch. It's very slow process so far. My docotor said this past Tuesday, "let's hope we (you and me) can get over your foot problem by keeping the treatment you have now," so that means my doctor's plan as of now is to have me come to hospital every day and get me IV drip treatment.
I am not sure if I'll keep getting better under the treatment I have now. If my foot's conditon shows even the slightest signs of deteriorating, getting hospitalized is an option, I guess.
Just in case you haven't read my post before, I don't want you to take my posts too seriously. I am posting here partly to practice writing in English, partly to vent my frustration (I don't give a sh*t how other people think of me, even if they think I'm nuisance or not), partly for other this and that.
Forgot to say the most important thing. If you need someone to have putting a painkiller in your anus, just holler me.
Did they call you or you called them? I am wondering if an animal center is a place where they keep stray dogs for, say, one week and if nobody comes to take each of them away to their home, they put them to sleep by poison.
>>222 ah...so your whole stories are just some joke. haha. ok I'm not gonna take your words seriously anymore. I shouldn't have taken any of 2ch seriously from the beginning. stupid me lol
>>226 What? No, they aren't, he's just saying that he doesn't want to bring the mood down, and that the main reason for him writing it is to practice English.
---
Please keep posting Mr. Smertemann, I enjoy reading your posts. I laugh every time you put "uho" in there.
While reading a book, I managed to doze off for an hour. Feeling better.
>>226 >>227 is right. It's not that I'm lying or anything but you need 2ch literacy when you read every post, I think.
>>227 Nothing special has happened to me. I go to hospital every day and lie face-up on bed and stay that way for 60-90 minuites. depending on a nurse in charge, the time to get it done changes.
One nurse told me before, you can sit on bed and read book or you can do whatever you want, but I usually lack in sleep at night, so I try to sleep during IV drip time. I see my doctor twice a week.
The last time I saw my doctor (the past Tuesday), I asked him to perscribe suppository type (uho type) painkiller becasue just one suppository painkiller was left then. Now I have 13 more uhoish type painkillers. So I'm ready to uho whenever I need to.
I don't know about other countries but in Japan, it's common that you get madicine prescribed by doctor, at pharmacy or a drug store outside of hospital. My doctor actually prescribed 14 uho type painkillers but The drug store where I get prescribed medicine had only 13 my kind of uho painkillers in stock. One short of uho.
One female clerk asked me if I wanted to get it delivered by delivery service. But it's ridiculous to send just one uho painkiller, so I told her it's OK, I'll get it when I come there next time.
>>240 If you really do, please take photographs of it before cutting it up for him.
>>244 It's good that your foot is improving with treatment. Perhaps one day soon, you'll be able to sleep like a baby (I don't know whay that phrase is used - it's supposed to mean sleep very well, but babies often seem to wake up and scream). The female clerk might have taken a fancy to you, and was just trying to get an address. If she deposited your painkiller, then it wouldn't be so uho, right?
Anyway, my main point was to ask which book it was that you were reading.
I agree that she was the key person who could have determine if this would develop into a love story or accelate its uho madness. Next time, you might get an XL uho because of her sourness, alas.
>>245 I definately want to sleep like a baby or a log or whatever.
Who would want to be deprived of the pleasure of putting a pinkiller in your own anus. Uho makes the earth go around the sun.
I'm reading "Flowers for Algernon." Only about 20 pages to go now but I thought of giving up over and over again but I managed to come this far. The reason I didn't understand it well was not because of the peculiar misspelling of the character. I somehow felt difficult understanding how the strory goes.
>>247 Ah, Flowers for Algernon. That book is banned from being used in the school curriculum in some parts of Canada. Don't really see what was so objectionable about it, though, from reading it. It's good that you kept with it.
'Golden Compass' was called 'Northern Lights' in its original British publication, but the image of the 'alethiometer' on the front cover caused the North American publishers to change the name, for some reason. They shouldn't judge the book by its cover.
I don't think being a log would be much fun. You'd just be laying there with fungus and moss growing on you, and little insects crawling on, burrowing into, and eating you.
Flower of Algernon was a pretty good novel. I loved algernon. His pure personality. I feel sympahty to his life as being used as an object for the laboratory's materials for experiment. Everybody has his/her right to live as a healthy human being but his case, his entire life was being used for science?? or somebody's profit..or what...
I like the part where he goes ultra intelligent at a point but then his intelligence starts to regress, and he is in agony and fear of losing what he's got. But I think he is happy at the end, the way he originally is.
>>250 Charlie is accepted by people around him when he was mentally challenged but once he become a person with high IQ, people working with him in the bakery become bad terms with him. This means that while he was considered lower than his co-workers, it was in a way easy for him to get along with people around him. So it may hint that mentally challenged people have to be considered inferior to get along with people around them. That's why it's banned? Just my wild guess.
That's an interesting story about "Golden Compass". People seem to judge a book by its cover. I forgot the title of the book but one puiblisher changed the cover of one Japanese classical novel. They asked one famous illustrater to draw the book's cover . He made the cover pop and the sales of the book increased especially due to young readers.
>>253 Well, I don't know if he dies or not yet. Charie is the name of the man whose IQ was low and then became high. Algernon is the name of a mouse. Yeah, Charlie is a pure man.
Ah, just missed 2^8. >>255 It really is pretty fun, and not always so hard either. The problem for us forrennurs is we aren't surrounded by kanji all the time, so it's difficult to learn the pronunciations from context.
>>249 Are you learning only kanji now? As in, not learning the rest of the language?
The translation of "Flowers for Algernon" into Japanese is 「アルジャーノンに花束を」
I heard some people say this translation is not so convincing because translating "flowers" to ”花束" which means flower bouquet is odd. The "flowers" for Algernon might not be flower bouquet.
「アルジャーノンに花束を」sounds better as a title of a book than 「アルジャーノンに花を」so publisher translate "flowers" as "花束"
do you native speakers use "seem" when thing is for certain? Is the usage like "she seems to have married an american" by basing on the reliable and objective information O.K.?
we japanese use "ようだ", which is equivalent of "seem" when thing is for certain but usually through indirect means.
>>260 We usually use "seem" when the event isn't completely certain, or when it is just assumed. If someone parks their car in a large car park and comes back after an hour, they might say "my car seems to be gone", because deep down, they know they just forgot where it's parked.
If someone drinks some sour milk, they might say "this milk seems to be off", and then check the 'best before' date to make sure, because they're not certain. If the milk is green and furry, they can say for certain "this milk is off".
"Appears" is synonymous with "seems" in this context. You could say "my car appears to be gone". It's still uncertain: as we know, appearances can be deceiving.
in conversation in japanese I think we would say "ヤフーニュースによると (according to the yahoo news), ヒズボラの上級闘士が殺されたそう(よう)だ。" そう(よう)だ corresponds to "seem". we won't use the direct usage like "ヤフーニュースによると (according to the yahoo news), ヒズボラの上級闘士が殺された", which is too assertive and offensive even if it is true.
how do you native speakers talk in English? which is more natural, "according to the yahoo news, Senior Hezbollah militant was killed" or "according to the yahoo news, Senior Hezbollah militant seems to be killed"
>>263 If you say "she seems to have married an American", it could be taken either as you're not sure if the guy she married is American or not, or if you see her with an American, and assume she is married to him. I hope this helps you, little brother!
When we say "according to" something, we usually paraphrase it, so "according to Yahoo news, a senior Hezbollah militant was killed" would be the one we say.
>>262 In casual conversation, "Yahoo News" has more knowledge than you on the topic, so you can assume that it IS true, so if you say "according to yahoo news, a senior hezbollah militant was killed." You probably wouldn't say "seems to be killed," because you have an authoritative figure telling you that it IS true. "seems to" always leaves you with a sense that maybe you're wrong. おいしそうなケーキですね! "Isn't that a delicious looking cake!" or, "Seemingly delicious cake!" Because you haven't tasted it, you can't know for sure whether it's delicious or not.
I hope i'm using -そうです correctly. That's how I was taught it.
if i stayed with my grandmother and was present at her deathbed, i would say "私の祖母が死にました" . when i learned the death from letter or something, just then i would say "私の祖母が死んだそうです"
>>279 I can't think of a situation where I would say "my grandmother seems to have died" Perhaps maybe if I was telling someone of someone else's grandmother died. Situation: At the workplace. John is sad, and I'm going to tell people why. "It seems as if John's grandmother died." Whether he told me, or I heard it from someone else, I'm explaining on someone else's behalf, so I would probably use "seems" in that aspect.
'Western' furry community is generally hated and gets mocked and trolled. (Mainly because of idiots who wear fursuits, who like diapers, who is just too fucked up and believe in inner fox or wolf (yeah, their fantasy is pretty limited).
>>283 Thanks to economic recession, they were forced to write off a load of unused tax credits (which are only valuable if a company makes a profit). They'd been losing money for the past three years, so if their losses were even greater in the future, they'd lose even more.
Of course, the biggest deficit from a US company was when Time Warner lost about $98 billion in 2002 or 2003, when AOL Internet's value imploded.
It's cheaper than the ones that are made in most of the developped nations such as America, Japan, France, and so on.. In exchange for its competitive price, however, it's likely to be contaminated. Worst, you can't rule out the possibilities that it's poisoned. In America, to my knowledge, canned pet foods were poisoned and dogs that eat such chinese food were killed. In Japan, chinese dumplings were poisoned. Fourtunately, those who eat them noticed their bad smell/taste soon after they had a bite, so they weren't dead, though tens of people were hospitalised.
Beijin's air pollution is serious. Many athletes that are supposed to participate in the olympic, I heard, are worried about it. And the news says American representatives decided not to eat Chinese foods during their stay in China, because chinese food contains banned drugs. If they eat it and get cencered, it will be a big problem. Personally, the choice they made really makes sense.
>>287 The problem with food in China, is that the country is still developing. To try and make more money, farmers feed their animals anabolic steroids (to develop muscle mass faster) as well as antibiotics (to try and stop them from becoming ill in poor conditions), and it's these substances which athletes are prohibited from using.
The poisoning problem comes from the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers, many of which have been banned in the EU already, due to negative impact on wildlife and the ecosystems. Chemicals often seep into water supplies, poisoning plants and animals which depend on it. In turn, the contaminants continue down the food chain into fish, livestock, and even some vegetables which collect heavy metals due to changed made by these chemicals. It wouldn't be so bad if this problem was just on a small scale, but it's not.
>>286 Chinese food in the UK isn't anything like Chinese food from China itself. Like Indian food, it's more anglicised - suited to the tastes of locals. One of my favourites is a Singaporean dish that uses rice noodles, vegetables, various meats, soy and oyster sauces and a few other ingredients.
Chinese food is delicious (I've never been to China and tasted Chinese cooking there, I've only tasted it in other countries). Just talking about it has made me hungry.
Which brings me onto something else: The only two Japanese dishes I've ever tasted are sushi and the dish where you boil your own vegetables and thin slices of meat in a mixture of water and oils I think it is, what was the name of that dish again?
Are there other good Japanese food that I should try? What are your favorite Japanese foods? Pictures would be good.
A Japanese business man took an expat from India to dinner. Thinking the Indian must miss Indian food, the Japanese ordered two Curry. Curry is very popular among Japanse people and available everywhere .
They enjoyed the dinner and conversation that night. The Japanese business man asked the Indian, "How do you like the dinner tonight"? The indian replied, "It was really good. By the way, What's the food called we had tonight"?
Could you please tell me what Utada says in english at 4:15, please? I don't know why, though, but Beckham's English is easier to understand for me. Utada speaks too fluently to catch. Wierd.
>>292 >what was the name of that dish again? Generally, it's called "Onabe", and actually, there are a lot kinds of "onabe" dishes in Japan, such as shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, oden, and what not.
And I'm not sure this is traditional Japanese food, but I love Ramen a lot, or fresh noodle. Japanese fresh noodles are really very tasty. I heard a famous ramen shop chain named Santouka is doing business even in America. Other than that, how about Gyudon? It's also really good.
>>300 chinese think japanese ramen is a different food. it's called nissiki(i don't know chinse pronunciation. it simply means japanese) ramen in china. and ramen originally means the noodle which is drawn out. traditional may be too far though.
How big imact this insident has made outsdide of Asia? I got to know it in this thread and done complete research on the net. I even got original photos put on a website.

Australia Apologizes for Treatment of Aborigines In a historic parliamentary decision, Australia's government apologized for past policies that "inflicted profound grief, suffering and loss" on its Aboriginal people and stated its commitment to eradicating the gap between mainstream Australia and its indigenous people. The apology was aimed particularly at members of the "Stolen Generations," the tens of thousands of Aborigines who were forcibly taken from their families as children under now abandoned assimilation policies. New Prime Minister Kevin Rudd read the widely televised apology, which he hopes will help mend racial divisions in Australia and herald a new era of healing for the country.

I didn't know how famous they were at first but after some researches I found out that they are famous to death. Among girls whose nude were leaked, I like the girl who are less famous than others. The girl who participated in a beauty contest in 2001. Her facial exression is sensual and she knows what kind of pose and facial expressions turn men on.
I found a video of her introducing herself in the beauty contest and she looks just like a trophy girl. Who could imagine she is toying with a dildo and she is looking back at camera in doggie style. The gap is enormous.
>>319 For your information, Valentine's Day in Japan is different from Western Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day in Japan is the day ONLY girls/women give something to boys/men.
One monthe later, which is March 14th, there's a day called "White day" when in returen boys/men give something to girls/women from whom they were given presents on Valentine's Day. (Don't ask me why it's called White Day.)
If you are uho, then probably you can give a man something on Volentine's Day. Maybe a thong, bikini swimsuits or uhoish painkiller would be good as a present.
What girls/women give to their love or someone whom they want to go out with has changed over the time. First chocolate is the most popular then now, everything imaginable seems to be accepatable rainging from other candys, necktie, CDs to alchole.
I'd prefer something to eat with something else like a CD. But all I got on Valentine's day today was IV drip treatment.
American Woman: Oh, I'd LOVE to, but I can't until we've seen each other for at least three dates. Anything before that, and I'll fear you're not interested in my soul, just my vagina, and I can't be used like that. I'll also expect you to pay for my dinner, and after sex you should start thinking about our potential marriage and how you can switch to a better-earning job.
>>320 I've heard that the quality of uni is reflected in its colour, though I've only ever had it at one place, so the colour was never different. My friend from Hong Kong is a bit strange, though. When we used to catch the train to get to university, he'd often play Train Simulator on his PSP.
>>322 Tried to do the Valentine's Day/White Day thing with some penfriends last year (just as friends, though), for a bit of fun. Though they seemed to enjoy it, I found it a little embarrassing. Anyway, today's IV treatment might be the start of something romantic with the nurses.
>>322 If I answer seriously, in a room where I get IV, there are 10 to 12 nurses, and three are in charge of IV drip and sometimes walk bed to bed to see if things are going well, otheres are behind table doing injections. Among three nurses in chaege of IV drip, two are middle aged and the other is young but the young nurse doesn't seem so friendly.
>>327 Um, that sounds a bit rude. What I meant was that if you have a boy/girlfriend, you have more fun things to do on Valentine's Day than to post on some random board on 2ch.
So that means that those here are probably all single. No offense meant, everyone.
>>335 Talking about the weather is what we tend to do when we're stood at a bus stop waiting for the bus, and making conversation with a stranger who happens to be middle-aged or older. After taking a bus on Tuesday (for the first time in four years - I hate buses), an old man at the bus stop started talking about how cold it was, and complaining about how late buses are. Talking about the weather and complaining about things to strangers is very British.
I don't really know enough about British music to say what's normal or not, though. These days, I try to even avoid it, because it's just not good anymore. Out of curiosity, watched the top 10 a couple days back, and some of the songs really put me on edge. After listening to a band called 'The Feeling', I'd really like to set them on fire.
Anyway, though Police do have some decent songs, I prefer Sting's slower ballads, especially Fields of Gold. They are quite passive, but they do remind me of things that have happened to me.

Here @2ch, I see many threads for teachers, tour guides, etc. They debate over interesting matters, I become intellectually exited, and ask in English "what do you think about ***? They seem to be doing good under the current system. Do you really think a new reform will improve the situation??" And then ALL SILENCE... If you think you are advanced learners, you should be ready to argue in the target language, you should be ready to take stand to my challenge.
>>380 Hey, I'm with you on that. It's the unfortunate reality that the vast majority of Americans are stupid and apathetic. I seriously don't want to live here anymore. This administration scares the shit out of me.
>>384 Wow. Calm the fuck down, jackass. If you don't believe that over 50% of the people in this country either don't know what this government is doing or don't care/aren't willing to do anything about it, you're living in a dreamworld. And don't worry, the plan is to move elsewhere as soon as possible. Enjoy dealing with the clusterfuck that this country has become.
I think generally people only want to do what they want unless there is a necessity, commitment or accountability(but depends on the person in this case). So when you want to ask somebody a favor, you should compromise or listen to the person's conditions first. but I don't think people are willing to answer your favor unless you'd inspires them.
in my school's case, when bad guys wanted to restart their activities with the students the bad guys had been suffered, teachers required them an apology, the formal aplogy. When you want to start over something, you need to apologize first. ask to be forgiven then start it over. that's just the rule.
I'm so lonely. I still have to pass my exams, I'm almost expelled. Nobody of my friends really cares about me. None of them tries to cheer me up. All, that their words do, hurt me like if they were mocking me. They passed exams already, so that makes us even more distant. They are looking down on me. I have nothing to do with that. I want to run away.
Damn, shoot some people and then yourself sometimes seems like a funny idea. But one can possess smooth-bore shotgun only if he pass special tests and become a hunter club member. After 4 years of membership hunting carabine is allowed. Handguns are only for security agencies and government forces. Sub-machine guns and other stuff is only for military and police personnel.
Pump-action shotgun with 6 bullets magazine is a nice gun. It's fast and easy to reload. But then again, do I REALLY want to kill anyone? No.
>>347 >Most Asians I've seen naked have big enough bushes to host small eco-systems in their private areas.
lol eco-systems. You are lucky there are no Dutch people here. If Asian girls shaved their pubic hairs Temerature of the globe would rise 5 degrees celisius.
Edison Chen likes to keep collections of his naughty pictures with many women in his computer. It seems like Gillian Chung is his favorite. Cecilia Cheung is the most sexy woman in all. Candice Chan is my favorite. She looks like a good girl.
>>430 Candice Chan is your favorite? She looks like a girl next door and she looks like a nice girl but not sexy nor beautiful.
I want Mandy Chen as a sex friend. Her body is perfect. I'll pass Cecilia Cheung cuz her eyes are blur as if she is drug addictive. Her boobs is artificial. I hate the tatoos on her body.
Bobo Chen is beautiful but she is not my type. Her body looks good but her boobs looks like sagging. her body is, too.
Gillian Chung is good. I like how she looks when her puusy was being licked. Vincy's figure is that of infants. Not sexy at all. Rachel Ngan is beautiful. I can't imagine she is giving a blowjob. Her blowjob reminded me every girl do blowjob.
All in all as a sex friend I would vote for Mandy Chen. I don't want to get married with anybody who don't mind being shot when naked. I know all of the girls wouldn't want to get married with me, either, though.
Candice Chan is just an ordinary girl but her expressions on her face was natural while Gillian Chung has stone face but is like a whore even she has an innocent face. Who is Edison's gf? or all the actresses are his sex friends? wow...lucky him lol I don't want to get married to those easy ones either. or they don't mind being shot because Edison is an attractive actor?
>>432 She was arrested yesterday for shoplifting $16 worth of stuff at Los Angeles International Airport. Two tabloid newspapers and a pack of triple-A batteries.
Vincy is her current Edison's girlfriend. She is now 18 years old and when the photo in which she is taking a shower was shot, she is said to be 15 or 16.
Her uncle or father is a bigwig in business arena and said to be connected to underground world. Edison made a big mistake, He might be killed by a gang in Honk Kong after many years when everyone forgot this hype. It's said that he'll die of unnatural death. Disguised traffic accident or something like that.
>>438 Vincy is his gf? then it's ironical coz her pics are not very dirty. she was naked but looks pretty normal shy girl compared to the pics of other actresses. So Edison wanted to keep her clean because she's only special, maybe. Is that so? she's a daughter of mafia...huh? then yeah, definitely he'll die within a few years. Poor Edison.
Hey, can you count numbers in Japanese? If so, you may find this video really funny. In this video, this comedian says, he becomes fool when he say numbers which are multiple of three such as 3,6,9..., and numbers including 3 in them such as 13, 23, 31, 32....
>>441 Yeah, chinese and korean are really addictive people. Japanese population of internet is not that huge yet. and I don't think the number or the users would increase in the future either. most of my friends own computers but not addictive.
Here, he becomes fool when he say numbers which are multiple of three and numbers including 3 in them, and he feels good sexually when he says numbers which are multiple of 8.
When he says 24 which is a multiple of 3 and 8, he become fool and sexually feeling good at the same time.
>>384 / >>386 is a good example of a native speaker who can't use English correctly.
Χ your pretty stupid too Ο You're pretty stupid too.
Χ see your head is all up in the cloud Ο ??? See, your head is up in the clouds.
Χ just name one country that has the government that takes good care of people Ο Just name one country which has a govenment that takes good care of its people.
Χ we don't want whining immigrants no more Ο We don't want whining immigrants anymore.
"We want whining immigrants no more" would mean that they don't want whining immigrants. Re-ordered, it would read "We want no more whining immigrants". If you use "don't want", it would read "We don't want no more whining immigrants" which, taken literally, would imply that they do want some. This is quite a common mistake in English.
>>453 In American English (I'm not going to insist that it's the same in UK English), "we don't want whining immigrants no more" is totally viable. It's used more in spoken English, though. You shuold look at "x don't want x no more" as a set expression.
>>455 Apparently it's more common in certain dialects than others, such as African American vernacular, as well as in some areas of England, such as East Anglia, Cornwall and by Cockneys. Though it's somewhat accepted, it still gives the impression that the user of the phrase isn't very well educated.
If you use "don't want", it would read "We don't want no more whining immigrants" which, taken literally, would imply that they do want some. This is quite a common mistake in English. ------------------------------------------- do you foreigners know the most famous foreigner musician in japan may be ex-megadeath guitarist, jew and zionist, marty friedman? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_Friedman_%28guitarist%29 he speaks very fluent japanese. he said on the english tv program that he used to be scold by his father for using double negative falsely. he said in japanese "it's wrong, but true..." like that.
we can see frequetly double nagative as a emphasis. my memory serves me correctly, the theme of the program was ..... I can't remember. LOL maybe beatles.
Apparently it's more common in certain dialects than others, such as African American vernacular, as well as in some areas of England, such as East Anglia, Cornwall and by Cockneys. ----------------- I don't get it. do you mean "Apparently it's more common in certain dialects such as African American vernacular, as well as in some areas of England, such as East Anglia, Cornwall and by Cockneys than others"?
megadeath is no worthy of listening... vocalist mumbling voice is silly. I don't know what he is singing about. But i know no value. vocalist look young for his age. it's all which they attract me to.
When speaking, people can say it, and YES you probably will coming off looking very uneducated. A lot of times when people say it, it's being used as a joke to make fun of those less-educated people. Such as hillbillies, hicks, and rednecks. Often times using the stereotypical father coming out of the house with a shotgun saying something along the lines of "We don't want none of your types around here no more" and then he spits out his chewing tobacco.
Basically -- people will know what you mean, but you'll sound uneducated. Don't say it.
>Often times using the stereotypical father coming out of the house with a shotgun saying something along the lines of "We don't want none of your types around here no more" and then he spits out his chewing tobacco
LOL I found it's so funny. and then he spits out his chewing tabacco.
I wonder what time you go to bed. do you sleep more than 3 hours everyday? usually 2channelers go sleep in the morning and wake up after 3pm? lol of course it's depends on the person.
Magibon goes to bed at night oh it's pretty normal. I thought she would also go sleep in the morning and stays in the bed for about 8 hours or so. she is so tired and needed to sleep. probably she had a tough day. lol
do you know "Shiawase Danchi"しあわせ団地? It is a manga written by Hasukoda (蓮古田 − I'm not sure if it is read as Hasukoda...) jiro. I like this manga. It is a comedy manga that somehow gives you two opposite impressions; we irritate and feel like killing them seeing the couple being in a too miserable state. but on the other hand seeing their tight relationship gives us peace. They are young husband and wife 21 and 19, living in a danchi(small miserable rabbit hitch. They are in a submerged tenth. He is bald, jobless and naked all day. the wife is a quiet, hard working flat chest girl. This bald guy is unbelievably silly and the wife are very patient but in each episode, she become intolerable and tries to abandon him but at the last instant she changes her mind and saves him. (all the episodes complete in one). It is not worth reading but if you are bored, probably fun coz it is good to know there is such a couple exists in this world.
it's not a literature or art but it gives you a peaceful feeling. it contains, laugh, sorrow, emptiness. I still like it but some ppl say it is like a piece of shi*. so depends on how you feel, it is surely a weird manga though. lol
>>479 I want to make you say "KINTAMA". What kind of girl that you want to fack? I want to make a slim girl a nelson from behind and throw penes into her anus!
I'm also reading "Chichi to Ran" written by Kawakami Mieko. It's a latest Akutagawa awarded novel. She recently received the Akutagawa Award. It's a most prestigious award for the writers. damn she's so beautiful. but but....i'm still on the half way so I can't be too definite but it's too boring so far. Before Akutagawa sho used to be the best award... but it got more and more inferior in quiality. I remember last Akutagawa novel was very bad. The theme was the stuttering. I laughed to read a comment of Ishihara SHintaro. He couldn't stand these kind of novels. So do I.... (I don't like Ishihara though...)-_-"
But Yamada Eimi praises that piece of shi*. I don't know but some people say Yamada Eimi is genius. I wonder if she is. I read some of her novels and were good. probably she has some odd sence and I can't be aggreable with her comment. I don't like Murakami Ryu either but reading his novels.. I would agree he is good too. But I can't stand Murakami Ryu. the way he talks etc....
I don't know it depends on the situation you know, you feel sympathy to a certain novel if the hero would be in a same situation with you or thye wisdom in the book inspires you and you are so impressed to it.
So, is Toshiba going to apologize to people who bought their HDDVD players?? Isn't it too irresponsible for them to just announce that they give up, and do nothing about their customers?
>>495 well probably French novel, uninawareta toki wo motomete by Marcel Proust. just kidding. I always think I should try to challenge it one day but I always think...ok some other time... lol
>>488 The elegant word, "HA.GA.I.JI.ME" means in Japanease. You must study more hard!!
By the way, Do you think, which is stronger Yoko Oshita or Emi Takeuchi(-Japanese Girl Announcer both-)in a quarrel? I think that Yoko Oshita should be stronger in imagination.
>>487 japanese are a bunch of foolish people who tend to be engulfed by media and authority. they read the novels because media and authority recomended them.
>>490 murakami, yamada, yumi are the same piece of shit. they think abberation are something cool. very shallow novel. people who suffered from real bizzare life won't boast their life.
>>517 not brisk move. but they were under consideration of stopping the war. america did too much that one could not forsee. yeah, second is too much and too late for japan.
saitama used to be mocked by being called da saitama. dasai means not cool or rural. but recently it has changed its image better by integrating cities and building landmark arena and a j-league team hometown.
i think their soccer feaver is a attempt to secede from the part of tokyo.
I personally don't have a good impression on saitama. cos a decade ago trend of colour gang comes from saitama. yankey cornball "jersey" saitaman rushed to tokyo and made havoc acting like tokyopeople. tokyo's bad culture often comes from another prefecture.
and some silly drama prompted colour gang trend. the drama name was ikebukuro west gate park. ugly rural boys took fancy to kubozuka or nagase and come over to tokyo and tried to imitate their life style. I don't know for sure. but imagining them imitate tv drama makes me feel sick.
Do you know "USIZAKI" ? "USIZAKI" is the very interesting punishment that tore up a human crotch by the power of the cow. It is a crotch of Yoko Oshita that I want to tear most. Is the crotch of Yoko Oshita easy to be split than the crotch of Fukumi Kuroda?
>>529 That execution was known as being 'hanged, drawn and quartered'. This was once the punishment for treason in England (and only applied to males - female traitors were burned at the stake). It was abolished in 1814.
The prisoner would first be dragged to the place of execution, with his ankles or wrists strapped to a wooden beam. He would then be hanged by the neck for a while (but not long enough to die). He would then be sliced down the torso (slowly), and have his entrails removed, often with other organs. While this was being done, his genitalia would be removed and burned in front of his face. Finally, he would then be beheaded, his body cut into four pieces, and each of these pieces would be displayed in a different part of the city.
Just a note that in the case of executions, the past tense of 'hanging' is 'hanged', rather than the regular 'hung'. The coat was hung on the rack. The prisoner was hanged in public.
In France, the method of quartering was different. The prisoner would be torutured with hot irons and blades, then have motel lead and metals poured into the wounds. His limbs would be tied to four horses, each of which would run in a different direction and literally tear him apart.
burned at the stake tokugawa dynasty killed christians in this way. i once pitied them and accused the authority. but in the long run , it was not all bad.
propagandism of chiristianity had something to do with european colonial strategy. credulous native people were easily deceived by europeans.
when i pick up a carton of milk, there is an expiration day printed there on the top how come they know exactly when it will expire? it's got not only the date but time as well
>>534 Similarly, Christians killed 'heretics' in that way too. As well as helpless old women accused of witchcraft, who were obviously able to do as much magic as a dead snail. They just used cruelty in order to frighten superstitious people into hiding behind the church. And paying for the privilege, of course.
>>530 you are very knowledgeable. very heart stopping story.. --------------------------------------------- He would then be sliced down the torso (slowly), and have his entrails removed, often with other organs. While this was being done, his genitalia would be removed and burned in front of his face. -------------------------- how could have william wallace have said "freedom" in this situation. LOL i know it's a fiction. still funny.
i read a comment in a white racist site that if white had been as cruel as asians, white would have annihilated all the non whites.
i think they were ignorant of their history.. they accused dog eating too. but germans were eating dogs just several decades ago.
>>539 This is a very widely accepted notion, even by many modern-day Christians. The Church extorted people into paying and donating valuables by exploiting their beliefs. As for me, I was raised a Catholic, but lost my faith. Growing up, I've been very interested in local mythology, so I guess many people would call me a sort of pagan.
>>537 To be fair, we've done a very good job of suppressing other nations. Mainly those we could easily take advantage of, such as countries in Africa, Western Asia, and the Americas. I'd hardly call our past 'civilised'.
>>510 >japanese are a bunch of foolish people who tend to be engulfed by media and authority. they read the novels because media and authority recomended them.
it's same everywhere, not only in Japan. In my case, I don't believe media. or more like I hate media so I am always against what the majority say.
>>535 Just gonna add on what >>540 said here: Expiration dates are set to be incredibly safe. Most products will still be just as edible months, if not years after the expiration date.
Damn. I went to a party (sort of), it ended early, and now I don't know what to do. It's 02:00 here so it's not *that* early, but I was just getting started...
Unfortunately, an idea is all it's going to be, at least for another couple of hours. I don't think I've gone to bed before 04:00 for most of this past week.
I guess I'll just read blogs and stuff until then.
>>551 I don't really watch that many movies, unfortunately. So there isn't really much I can say. I would guess that it's easier to export a "big and stupid" movie than one with a complex storyline, though...
American movies are great. I recently saw several movies. I liked them all. They were Juno, No country for old men, Atonement and Gone baby gone. I hope you guys see these excellent movies and think twice about American movies. Come to think of it, Atonement is a British film. So, don't watch it.

Seems like film Director, Izutsu has 3 wives. one is Chinese. lol one is for sex the last one is his wife listening to his meanigless talks all the time. lol
Japanese movies are all stupid. There is absolute no good, let alone great, Japanese movie, except may be Miyazaki Hayao films. But they're all animations, so they don't count.
>>565 well maybe Japanese movies are getting more and more poor in quality. (before we used to have genius filmmakers such as Kurosawa, Imamura Shouhei, Fukasaku Kinsji...etc.) but some are still ok. maybe you only missed the good ones. the crucial point is that Japanese movie industry has no money. without the budget, it is unable to make the spectacle films. So naturally, Japanese movies are mostly about the self stories, useless love stories or school events and scary plot with the small caliber films. But alternatively, we produce a lot of interesting and exciting mangas on the paper. it won't require any money, only pen, ink and paper and authors' talent are needed. So we can manage it. lol
lol there is a dark horse winner. How do you say "dark horse" in English? in Japanese, we say "ダークホース”that's the unpopular horse for the horse race. but contrary to people's expectations, or just by luck, this unpopular horse would win the game sometimes. lol that's really a "tanakara botamochi" situation. lol (pennies from heaven - for the dark horse.lol)
Speaking of Dark Horse, do you know who falls into the dark side of force? Hint : he wears a dick-shaped dark mask, and breathes like "shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, shhhhhhhhhhh..."
>>575 so when you are in a "spirit of abandon" situation, you can do anything. then you'd buy a ticket for the most unpopular horse, and then by luck, that horse wins. you really don't know what happens in your life lol
oh yes! I love Korean movies. Chinese movies. Asian movies are better in quality. Hollywood movies are dead by now, Sorry americans...but yes. I feel that after Tom Cruise is gone, there is no more exciting movies in U.S. Jonny Depp yes, but he is not a viewy type. he is a second player. Korean moview are really greeeattt. You should abandon your biased view and try to watch asian movies. Those are great.
>>573 that's funny lol. But the most miserable part on unpopular horses are they have been waiting for invitation, and once there is a voice of invitation, they'd get so excited and go to the race. I wonder if they ever have a chance to be a "seed horse". if I were born as a horse, I wouldn't want to be an unpopular horse... the life should be too miserable...waiting for the participation of the popular race whole his life...haha
I love Tom as well...he's such a fantastic porn star. I looove the shape of his torso & his huge cock. oh my god I'd do anything for him. I'd love to lick off all the juices out of his body. Pits, pubes, god.... Tom's such a sex god.
>>587 Tom is minnnnneee!!! and Igirisujin-san is mine too!! - dosakusa (in the confusion at the moment). Anywayz you are fan of Tom too? that's great. I wanna say something to Nichole Kidman "what have you done?" are you happy now? I hate you and want to blame you together with dolphine's matter. (she hates Japanese).
>>588 Oh you don't know... Nichole Kidman's grand father was killed by Japanese during the war or something and she has a deep hatered against Japanese. one time when she was still married to Tom, she refused to come to Japan. moreover she's a enviromentalist (claims she is), so she double hates Japanese for the dolphine's matter. (for the antiwhaling activity). Tom...I miss him. I hope he would come back to the film industry. or at least, he should come to Japan to see us. He is a really nice man Toda Natsuko proved his greatest personality.
I don't think you don't like Nichole because of her stance against Japan (,I don't think she is against Japan, but who knows), I think it's because Nicole used to be Tom's wife that you hate her.
>>548 What kind of blog do you read? Is it the one written by ordinary people or your friends? Or other people who are the authority in a particular feild such as Internet technology?
I read blogs written by foregin people living in Japan which is interesting and let me have different perspectives. Something which I take for granted is something new and different in their view.
>>598 But she is chillingly beautiful for her age. don't you think so? white people's skin is likely to get detereorated than another race. but she keeps her beauty. I wonder what she is doing.
Yes, her beauty is limitless! I saw the movie "the golden compass". She is in it, and seriously amazingly beautiful. I never would understand what Tom Cruise was thinking when he decided to divorce her.
>>606 Yeah! I completly agree with you. She's absolutely beautiful. I regretted that having missed her film premiere in London last year. She was with Daniel Craig at that time.
OH WOW how can you read my mind? I was thinking of using the tripcode as "noiroze". BTW, how do you say Noiroze in English? that's the light state of mental disease.
>>611 yeah, you really missed her. she actually went to your country and what have you done to her? or you didn't do anything at all. you didn't even stalked her secretly. that's not called "fan". shame yourself.
>>613 I didin't do anything to her. At that time, I did study English for Cambridge English Exam in a library near the premiere, but unfortunately I couldn't see her.
In stead of her, I've been met some film stars in London film premiere so far. Colin Firth, Jack Nicholson, Umma Thurman, Tom Hanks, and Morgan Freeman. They had distinctive atmosphere.
>>618 yes very true. you are genuinely sick and loser. you've got to do something to change your life. to watch the movie "L change the world" may give you some clue. but I bet it's a piece of shi*. Death Note was a shi*ty movie for children. same level with Pokemon the movie. Matsuken is my current favorite actor though.
Next month, I'm taking an English exam called "Cambridge First Certificate in English(FCE)". So I decided to write English in this thread to improve my English writing.
>>616 It's used pretty often, yeah. Lots of neurotic people around.
>>622 Good luck with your exam. The government is making it easier for children to pass exams for foreign languages in secondary school now. They're thinking of scrapping the speaking part of the test. At least the one you're doing has real merit.
>>622 You are in England? That's fantastic! I watched the other day the show called "The Apprentice". It's based on the american version of it, but a far better show than the original. I DLed all the episodes of season 1. The show is seriouly one of the great TV programs of all time IMO. If you have time, you should apply for it. Im looking forward to your appearance.
>>625 Oh, are you Japanese as well? That's brilliant! I've wanted to get the certificate since I knew the exam. My final aim is to get "Certificate of Proficiency in English(CPE)", which is most difficult one.
>>626 Thank you very much for telling me the news. I really appreciate that. By the way, I'd like to ask you about your country about immigration. Have your government decided to conduct an exam for immigrants? Could you tell me if you know any further information for this?
I feel that the hip of Youko Osita is very soft like a pudding. Do you think so? If a gripping power 100kg man grasps her hip with all his strength, does the meat of her hip come of? And how about the hip of Mona Yamamoto?
>>630 Cheers, I'm in England now. Though I've never watched the programme, it's very interesting to me. I'll tell you my review if after watching British one.
>>637 Sorry, mate. I must comment about a spelling difference between the U.S. and the U.K. In American English, people use "TV program", but in British English, people use "TV programme".
>>644 You don't really care? Ok.. then what do you think about this notion Japanese people have about Oranda people that they are tall...? Are you tall?
>>635 ic. I need to broaden my knowldeges in various field and have more precise knowledges about European countries. for example, when I met one Belgium guy, only the famous things popped up in my mind were chocolate and waffle. Stupid me...lol
<<642 I'd very much would like to help you but nothing works out so far. you just want to control people. could you just stop it? then I would contribute you. maybe
Sorry, I'm leaving this thread because I made lots of horrible mistakes. I always deflate myself when I find these kinds of stupid ones, but I'll definitely come back to this thread very soon.
>>649 That's exactly what you pointed out. As soon as I pressed "write" button, I found out the mistake.
>>651 nah! don's say that. we all make many many mistakes. and if somebody would correct your mistake, it is lucky. whatever you do is fine, come or go, but just don't leave because you have made some mistakes in English grammar or spelling. I make at least one error in one line !lol
Do you want to bite cheek of Mona Yamamoto,--female announcer? I want to bite cheek of Yoko Osita and tear off the meet of her cheek! It is my graceful dream♪
Ueah the point of writing English here is to improve your writing skills or something like that so if you are afraind of making mistakes, how do you go about improving them. You learn stuff from making mistakes. That's it. Look at my English ww Horrible ww
>>656 Mona is very popular among guys in japan but Oshita? Does she have any attractiveness? and you say you like Oshita? probably you like Kuroda Chieko and Tomita Rika as well lol
The reason why I must leave this thread is not only making English grammar mistakes, but playing the guitar in a blues music bar near my flat(apartment), which helps me to learn speaking English. I'll come back here later.
>>657 Cheers, mate. I might be a perfectionist. People in this thread are very kind of me.
>>659 yeah, people here are generally very sarcastic and mean but once there is someone who seems to be inferior than us, we suddenly become nice. just kidding. lol
>>602 Thank you for the links to the blogs. I skimmed through them and found out that other than the researcher's blog, they are a little bit difficult to read to me. Blogs dealing with things that I'm not so familiar with such as technology things is tough.
If you are interestend in Internet web applications or new web services, I think this blog is one of the best. Again, I'm not familiar with technological side of web services, it's difficult to me. I just read the blog once in a while. I'm just curious about what kind of new web service is coming up.
Maybe Igirisu-jin has read this blog. You are interested in web design if I'm not wrong. I'm thinking about creating one stop portal website titled the most uhoish way of putting a painkiller in there for dummies.
That's not a compliment. I had thought tripcode freeman was a foreigner. his English was good and people of tripcode were always foreigners. that's why.
by the way, can i ask a question about tense? which is correct, I had thought he had been a foreigner or I had though he was a foreigner? the latter seems natural but grammatically untrue?
korean movies are good? they are called copywood. LOL you guys only have watched good movies which are given some award. movies like gumel seem very cheap and shallow.
australians threw japanese captives off from the plane and reported they died from huger. american took back japanese skeltons as a souvenier. white allies reduced(killed) the number of japanese capitivies while japanese took all the captives and couldn't afford them. which is more humane? difficult question.
japanese tend to keep quiete and took on one way critisism. they think modesty and calmness is merit. it works only among japanese. silly people.
How can so many people like Tom Cruise? If we look away from the fact that he's a gullible moron, and look at good movies he's starred in, only one movie comes to mind: Mission Impossible (possibly Mission Impossible 2).
The guy's a total schmuck, and his acting is nothing out of the ordinary.
PS: What's the name of the main actor in Hanabi? He is the single greatest badass and actor of all time.
>>631 Yes, there is a sort of test for foreigners wishing to emigrate to the UK, known as the 'Life in the UK' test. As well as this, if your English level is lower than ESOL level 3 proficiency, extra classes are required (though judging by your level, it shouldn't be a problem).
>>669 Thanks, I'll take a look through there. Just renewed my hosting, but with a different provider this time, so need to reconfigure my databases and re-upload some content.
>>671 To be fair, there's not been many good movies out of Hollywood lately. They've been copying a lot of east-Asian movies, such as Ring, Ju-on, Infernal Affairs, R-Point, JSA, Tale of Two Sisters, and I think they're also remaking Battle Royale.
wow, tom is older! thanks to the religion, tom must be keeping his youth! and tom endowded a bit of youth to his his ex-girl friend. worship tom and scientology ! he is a living proof of scientology.
oh, come to think of it, penellope? is also sexy and cute for her age! girls who slept with tom get somethig miracle!
>>681 Commander Bill White(American National Socialist Workers Party) said like the following "accept all whites regardless of legal or illegal and expel all the non whites even if they are legal) How do you think about this program? Some racists condemned him for disrupting honest anti-campaigh on illigal immigrants. and as a result he did so.
polish population seems to be growing in the UK. they are all whites and don't make big problem.
But they seem to stick to their culture and it might annoy some british patriots. I wanna to know how british hate mongers is reacting to white immigrants.
the notion of whites can be united is very american thing and delusional. american can't understand cultural and langugage differences among whites. american whites all tried to integrate with american culture besides small differences. german americans abandoned their language and herigate during the world warT.
>>684 I think the most acceptable way would be to accept people based on how well they integrate with society, and to make sure they fully intend to follow the country's laws and lifestyles. A lot of people expect the government to change things based on their own cultural backgrounds, which I think makes a country lose its identity. For example, if a Muslim immigrant wants Sharia law to apply, they should stay in a Muslim country, rather than complaining to our government. If the Muslim immigrant accepts the way things are done as they are, then that's fine.
>>685 You're probably right. People often overdo things when they're still new or being developed. Like in 1996 when everyone had websites with spinning skull animations and MIDI background music. Now it seems that when a movie isn't using loads of CG, it's just ripping off something else.
yes, of course they have close cultures like christianity, democracy, and european civilization. But it's not about race. Russia and south-east europe can't get along well with europe and USA. and oddly enogh, racists prefer russia and serbia...
>>690 Thank you for the honest reply. I think you are liberal but not super liberal like john lennon. Your opinioin is very solid and down-to-earth.
I think john lennon style would ruin everything and people have to start from scratch. perhaps people don't take on lyrics seriously just enjoying music and melody. I might be too stubborn.
>>689 There are quite a lot of Poles in my town, even Polish shops opening here and there. From experience, I've found them to be harmless, friendly people. They also work really hard. Back when I was working for an outsourcing company, I was in charge of a team who had to input and check over welfare data. Half the team were local people, and the other half were Polish. The Poles took shorter breaks (by choice), and worked much faster and accurately... and they complained a lot less too.
Perhaps it's because of this that many British 'patriots' complain about them "coming to our country, stealing our jobs", and so on, kind of like a nationalistic American's attitude towards Mexicans. If British people worked harder, I'm sure they'd have less ttrouble finding work. It's not the employer's fault that many Poles are good workers. And though they do often group together, they also make an effort to integrate, and don't whine about our laws and customs.
Far-right nationalism can be a problem in most countries, I think, regardless of ethnicity. It's just that some countries have such people in power, or with access to media, so it affects others in differing magnitudes.
I don't get why so many people are so narrow-minded as to discriminate against race. How does race matter? Do all whites share one brain, while all Asians share another? The answer is no. Each individual is similar, but also very different. Your race does not decide who you are.
We all shit, piss, sleep, drink, eat, think, see, feel and hear. Race is worth jack shit. Hopefully, some time in the distant future, all humans will have mingled so much that there is only one bastard race left.
Imagine countries without borders; countries without racism. It would be heaven on earth. Humans are too fucking stupid to ever be able to do that, but one can always dream, no?
But it's strange immigrants demand their own rules in the uk. when in rome, do as romans do. some immigrants themselves are very narrow-minded. so some screening works.
イギリス人's veiw doesn't sound so liberal but reasonably conservative, which I think a fairly large number of Japanese people could relate to, as we tend to have far less imigrants and thus less diversity than in the UK. You might be aware of this, but Japanese netizens, especially at 2ch, tend to have somewhat nationalistic views on a lot of issues. So, what you see here doesn't really reflect the way people that you would meet in real life think. I think that 2ch is the rightest place in a lot of ways.
>>698 I suppose sophia is full of brainless women who centered on english and tried to think and act like foreigners. that's my assumption. sorry if i'm wrong.

>>541 sorry for the late reply, イギリス人さん. Your revelation of having being a catholic was a bit surprising. Because I have a preconception that british are all protestants or the like. But come to think of it, Yes, I know pet shop boys's neil tennat was raised as chatholic and made to go to catholic school. this experience prompted gay-neil to write "it's a sin" Oh, neil happens to be your neighbour. he was born in newcastle. It must be near your hometown! Is north east England the bastion of catholic? Can you see a snooty man like neil walking around here and there in north east England? He walks with his back straight and look down on people withing his sight. Is it British? or Gay?
You were a pagan...which may explain why you are a fan of Dragon Force. I don't know about them. But melodic metal seem to be related to ancient viking's era and paganism.
I like x-japan phenomenon(x-japan spree) rather than their music. And I like toshi solo project. I want to keep away from the religion which was said to have brainwashed toshi. But leader's music are not bad and toshi's voice really get enhanced to the maximum with masaya's song.
>>711 Though Anglican-Protestantism is the country's official religion, Roman-Catholocism is actually growing at a rate that will outnumber Protestants within a few months, if not already. This is mainly because of immigration from Catholic dominant countries. As for religious demographics in the UK, it's hard to tell, because the census just classes people as 'Christian', regardless of which sect. Actually, in the 2001 census, 390,000 of us put down 'Jedi Knight' as our religion, which would have put it as the fourth largest religion in the country, after Christianity, Muslim and Hindu. Unfortunately, the government didn't recognise it as an official religion.
As for walking straight-backed and looking down on people, that's more a British thing here than what we'd think of as typically gay. Newcastle is quite a nice city. The Gerodies (people from Newcastle) are generally very friendly. Neil lives in the city of Durham now, which is even closer to my town. It's only a city because it has a cathedral, when in reality, it has less than half the population of my town.
Hah, you must have been around a while, too, to have remembered what I said about music. Even I forgot about mentioning that. I've found that melodic metal has many roots and paths, some to do with Norse mythology, some to do with fantasy, some to even do with current events, so it's difficult to describe it in just one area. Lyrics are often quite pretentious or even 'cheesy', but it's the instrumental melody I often find the most attractive.
I find Yoshiki's music to be very pretentious too, but sometimes well-composed. It's X-Japan's ballads I like best. A few of Yoshiki's solo projects appeal to me, but not many. I've got a couple of Toshi's solo CDs, but haven't actually heard anything done while he was with Masaya's sect. Is it available to listen to anywhere?
My line-breaking judgement isn't good at all, it seems. The text seems to be sloping as the paragraphs continue... oh well.
Thank you brother. Very informative and interesting story! >Roman-Catholocism is actually growing at a rate that will outnumber >Protestants within a few months, if not already. I get smarter, thanks. > Actually, in the 2001 census,390,000 of us put down 'Jedi Knight' as our religion Amusing... In britain religious power seems to be weakening almost to joke... It is my assumption that british are more lenient to the taboos of christianity than americans. I think long histroy with the religion makes them mature. >As for walking straight-backed and looking down on people, that's more a British >thing here than what we'd think of as typically gay. Buwahahaha. I thought his pretentious? behaviour might be prepared for promos. But somewhat british and real? sherlock holmes in tv drama looks very english too! Can you see the man like sherlock holmes in real life? He moves like robot and I get very tired to watch his move. >Hah, you must have been around a while yes, it was me.
>Is it available to listen to anywhere? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28PRX1iBi6c this song is 君はいないか by masaya. masaya had been a pretty much acclaimed artist until he was exposed to cult matter.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28PRX1iBi6c By the way, young, premature, ephermal, innocent love are beautiful.. My heart aches. The video seems to be slightly related to the lyrics. It must be poster's explanation of the song. aside from it, a girl with ears remind me of sweet, still bad memory.

really? she dyes her hair to fill up her complex of ugly looks? I thought she just liked to have a fashion that way. I recently dyed my hair to very light color too. it is nothing to fill up my complex. I wanted some changes.
>>677 >The guy's a total schmuck, and his acting is nothing out of the ordinary.
Sorry dude, but you have a poor judge of a man's character/talent. He is rated with the very best. Not only his looks, his pure personality, his acting skill, his expressions, his aura. It's not something I should explain to you by words but you should feelit and judge which one is really talented and which one is just ordinary.
This razor is a weapon that can cut through any kind of woman's thigh except Yoko Osita's thigh. Yoko Osita is a Japanese female announcer and still a virgin.
Dearest 本玉儿 IF I had a barbarian soul like you have, I want to tie you to the bed and cut your penis off by my rusty saw. I will force you to eat your stinky bloody penis. Thank god I'm not a barbarian.
Have you tied your penis with a rope and lifted it. Can your penis bear the your own weight? And have you ever thought about the strength of the spongy body which contituted your penis?
Hello Bilinguals. ^^ Excuse me for my interruption.
This will be my first post here, though I've known this thread for a month. First of all, I'll say all readers here that I'm sorry for my poor English. But you don't have to correct my compositions, grammars or any mis-spelling. You know, I don't need any certifications or studying for exams. Pls just be patient for the moment and imagine if you pls what I try to say.
In fact, I decided to post because I've found my post reprinted here. >>559-560
Now I'm really curious why it happened. Somebody thought that's so funny ? Or is this thread hidden fun board of Magibon and any other YouTubers ? Or maybe kind of any haters' thread ?
>>759 If you really want to practice english try communicating with a group of people native with the language. Like Kora suggested, use an english BBS or IRC and see if others notice it's a second language.
Anyone has had a job interview in English before? How was it? What kind of questions did they ask? I know it all depends on which job you are applying for, but I am talking in general. What was the very first question? I mean, how did it start?
Can I ask a favor? I'm now listening to a classical R&B music on youtube. This one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0tLZOG_ti8&feature=related And what I want to ask you is about accents/intonations, I mean, please check what they sing at 1:33. I referred to a website and the result was like this : "Whatnt gone be nobodys fool". But truthfully, I can't hear "tnt" in the line. So it sounds like "Wha' gone be nobodys fool" to me. What do you think? Do you think the singers clearly/correctly pronounce like what's written in the lyric?
>766 Have you googled from young foreigner's view already? No? How about answerbag and yahoo answers? You will find similar questions. Maybe. Better than >767
>>769 What a dorky suggestion. That doesn't help. Do you honestly believe she wanted serious answers? No. You should've been like this. "How does your fart smell?" and you should answer like "Oh, Mr, mine's like rotten fish, but you know what, people say Yukorin's fart smells like vanilla. I wish mine were like hers."
>>768 I must admit that even I have difficulty understanding the words. I will state that although neither phrase is grammatically correct, american R&B isn't so much about the lyrics as the tone.
>>771 Thank you, Anon. Yeah, just so you know, I've noticed "double-negative" and the omitment of "has" make this sentence grammatically incorrect.. And I agree with you in that R&B is confortable to hear, but let me make sure if there's a pronunciation rule of "tnt+g", I mean, if the conbination of the consonants in this order is used, do you think it's natural to skip "tnt" and pronounce only the g sound?
>>772 I must apologize for not understanding some of what you mean to say, but reguardless of double negatives (used all too often in north american society) the words "Whatnt" and "Wha'" are not real english words. In english, at least, the part "Tn" is im-pronouncable unless the "T" is silent.
>>773 Thank you for the reply. You're kind, Anon. So English speakers usually don't use "whatn't", right? Come to think of it, this is the first time I've come across the words used like this at least in my several years of English learning. haha
Not to dwell on this topic, but I sometimes hear English speakers saying "what do you mean" like "wha'dyou mean?", when they pronunce sloppily..
The use of double-negative is for uneducated people, just like a double-decker uni is consumed by an uneducated person. It must be condemned as an act of barbarism.
It seems that nobody cares about me... So let me write one thing that I don't mind the quotations at all if only they're done for supporting Magibon. ^▽^
And one more thing to say before my leaving is that イギリス人さん is an excellent commentator.
I've read this thread for the first time tonight. But I'm impressed by his words reminding me of Mr. Peter Barakan. Sometimes Mr. talks like an idealist, but I still like Mr.'s tastes and sensible way of talking...
English speakers don't know how they pronounce English. It's because they've learned English through natural process. Also they don't know much about English grammar, though they feel it's wrong if non-native speakers say it wrong, but they can't explain why. All they can do is "you should say it this way".
We don't expect them to help us with confusing grammatical points, so we won't give them hard time.
What is wrong with anime? Anime is now the thing that represents Japan, you know? I'm proud of anime and ani-wota culture representing Japan throughout the world.
It seems posters predominantly like anime more than other real culture thing on site like 4-ch. I am much prouder of our electronic industry and rich historical background than of rape tentacles. Many of these people also say "rape is how you say hello in Japan". Good representation?
>>795 Why, anime is not only about tentacle rape, you know? ;)
Anime for western people is just an obscure hobby, like, i dunno, trains, or russian history for japanese. And their hobby is what brings them on 4-ch (and, to be honest, what brought me here).
>>795 I think your view on anime is slanted. The fact that the first thing you brought up as something anime was "rape tentacles" shows that. Granted it's part of the anime culture, but it's a tiny tiny part of it. I think most people think about animes like Naruto or Dragonball or Fullmetal alchemist when they talk about anime, no? And they are loved for their great storylines and deep welldescribed charactors, no? ( ehh maybe not. but they are fun!) The fact is anime and manga are seriously very important part of Japanese culture, and people around the world tend to see them favorably as something distinctly Japan. I'm glad they do.
Yeah! and moreover, what's wrong with raping tentacles? That's so original and inovative! Nobody but Japanese would think of something so imaginatively menacing stuff!
I am in the habit of rubbing my penis while watching photograph of Yoko Osita in the evening. As soon as I touch my penis,My penis fires sperm to the sky!!
penis is pronounced like peanut in english when i heard the word first time, i was not aware that he was talking about the hot rod atthe bottom of a male's body
by the way, how do you like penis? how is a penis for you?
a penis is good because touching it, it makes you feel satisfied because you know that you feel good touching it, touching your own penis or touching someone else's penis.
Now,Do you like the figure skating? Which do you like better Mao Asada or Yuna Kim? I like Yuna better. Her thighbone is thin but strong!! Needless to say,Mao is ashamed of being daughter of the host.
>>804 that's most definetly just your imagination. when body is clean, penis doesn't smell. you have to just once touch another person's penis for real, and your fears will go, you will discover the joy of homosexual relationship.
>>809 I am not so much intrested in it because I'm under 18 and don't have driver license. Btw, I think he successfully established to call him Higashikokubaru.
Hey listen, there was a black evil you-know-what insect in my room though it's winter now! I just killed it with my Goki-Jet but how should I get rid of it?
Have you ever studied at a fast-food shop such as MacDonald's or coffe shop such as Starbucks? Since IV drip treatment now takes 90-120min, sometimes it's past 11am when I'm through it. (Waiting time before the treatment is long, too) If I couldn't wleep well at night, I straight back to home but if I managed to sleep as long as 4 hours, I spend some time in a quiet place or go to a books store.
I need to have lunch before that. I often eat at fast food shop where I can kill time reading books. You should be careful not to choose crowded fast food shop. I'm bold enough to shout to the world that I'm an expert of putting uho painkiller in there, but that's just whne I live in a virtual world. In reality, I'm just as timid as an anus, or rather, a mouse.
I always get nervous when reading a book there after lunch for fear that clearks might warn me against spending to much time after eating lunch. There's no sign that says "Studying or reading is not allowed" but somehow I feel like I'm choked. I try to leave a little bit of coffe left in a glass as if Iwas still in the middle of lunch. THe cofe is thinned with ice and it tastes like ater.
If I was more bold, I would spend two or possibly three hours after lunch but seems like one hour is my limit. I wonder if there is anybody who have guts to stay longer. The best idea would be keep ordering 100 yen coffee every half an hour or so and stay there as long as I can,
It's rather quiet there if you avoid busy hours and a fast food shop is warm and cozy. Macdonald's in Japan has a special day tomorrow. If you say to a cleark over the counter that "I'll have premium roast coffee," then you can have it free of charge. That's a part of prmotion campagin for the new coffee. http://gigazine.net/index.php?/news/comments/20080214_mcdonalds_coffee/
195 :名無しさん@お腹いっぱい。:2008/02/19(火) 23:04:57 ID:bB+UzOs40 This just came to mind, but did Magichan use to watch Salor Moon, didn't she? Do you think she can sing the theme song? If she happened to have a Salor Moon costume, I hope she should wear that. With income from the Youtube, it'd'n't be a big expense.
If she didn't wear the costume, I guess the songs of Salor Moon were known all over the world. And I believe she'll be accepted not only by otakus, but also the other girls. I suppose you guys are going to be addicted to it, no matter what.
I've never liked Magibon all that much. Granted, the only videos I've ever seen of her are just her staring into the camera, and one where she sings something into a wooden squirrel. I just don't understand why she's so popular around here.
I don't think she would more popular with girls even if she did dress up like Sailor Moon. She seems to be an internet idol, and a lot of girls don't go on the internet like guys do.
198 :名無しさん@お腹いっぱい。:2008/02/19(火) 23:22:29 ID:bCu69pAw0 She is a bad singer, isn't she? I don't think she has the sense of costume play. I remember even though there was an event like that on Stickam, she didn't wear a costume, plus she was silent all along. She isn't the kind of girl who can entertain people. I know she loves the TV world, but she's not cut out for that.
204 :名無しさん@お腹いっぱい。:2008/02/20(水) 00:09:30 ID:/CxV3pS80 >>203 No matter how good or bad those comments in Japanese, she hasn't responded to almost all of them, as I see it.
>>823 >one where she sings something into a wooden squirrel. You made me check the video. For some apparent reason, she speaks to it in Japanese. You know what I mean? I guess something is written on the back side of the squirrel.
205 :名無しさん@お腹いっぱい。:2008/02/20(水) 01:03:15 ID:1DMYtSCE0 >>198 I guess she's not so interested in the TV world, even though she says she is. It'd take great efforts to make a living as a TV talent in Japan. She may be satisfied the way it is now. Probably she's gotten a liberal amount of money based on the number of E-audiences of her videos.
japanese entertainment busines must be more regimented and strictly ruled: how old are you? how many years are you in business and such. This kind of senpai kouhai, senior junior ladder would annoy free thinking foreigners.
I think making money by only staring at the monitor is easy and happy. But not lucrative enough to make living, right? Perhaps magibon should start her own dvd. But it would ruin her pure image and set her fans off. hahaha.
There are always bad-mouthed, violent, arrogant, noisy, interfering people in showbiz. wada akiko is one example. Her style is that if you come with me, I'll support you, otherwise, I'll bully you. very damp behaviour. She is korean descent by the way.
she says courtesy is important. But it's you who should like courtesy first. for her politeness is just a tool and excuse to control juniors.
Jokes about wada akiko are wet blanket. such as she beat pro wresler and car crashed on her, but she crashed car.. Not funny at all. But people have to laugh to keep harmony with others.
wada is no more than 170cm tall. But exaggerated joke about her is set situation and people have to accept it if though it's not funny at all.
I think seiko matsuda is very strong woman. She didn't succumb to wada. Her selling point was ephemeral, dreamy virgin girl. But in reality she was very clever and strong. okada yukiko was as weak as her image..
nakamori akina sold delinquet image but she turned out to be very sincere and devout and weak.
Rie miyazawa is also a weak woman. She can't forget her prime-time. When she passes by, everyone looks at her and praise her.. like that. princess complex? I don't like those kind of women who have mental weakness.
>>848 I read somewhere on the internet an article that explains Youtube Partner Program. If I'm not mistaken, big youtubers, I mean, like getting 1 million hits on their videos, are given a considerable amount of money. Have you ever heard of Lisa Nova? She advertised her videos by posting as many messages on youtube users as she could, so that her videos would be seen. The result? I heard she earned 50 thousand dollars (last year).
And the number of people who've watched MRirian's videos are not so different from that of Lisa Nova's. This leads me to think that MRirian will take almost the same amount of money.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9G2-bN1Br4 At least she takes a lot of trial and error to get attentions. She makes effort unlike magibon. I think magibon is criticised for her easy lifestyle. I can understand this now after I know she can be rich by just showing cheap home-made movies.
I don't know and don't want to know what's funny about lisa's video though.
>>856 Just to make my position clear, I think LisaNova deserves the money. Watch her videos : http://jp.youtube.com/user/LisaNova She put her energy into making entertaining videos. Many gimmicks.
But MRirian? What did she do? She changed her current location from America to Japan. You know, Youtube Japan is not so big a community that once a video is posted and her subscribers (they used to be about 1000?) watch it, then her video is top-listed on the Japanese category. Naturally, non-subscribers to her videos will be interested like what the video is like? or something like that. Hmmm, as the title of the videos say, there's nothing in there except for a woman staring at the camera. It's like Darn it! You tricked me! hahaha. That's why she has many haters.
Having said that, I suspect MRirian knew what would happen. Many youtubers posted responce videos to her, most of which she ignored completely, though.
>>860 Evil may be too strong. Just foxy. But at the same time, she's mentally strong in a sense. Many people are making fun of her, you know. She's really american, like "I'm doing what I want and who cares? (many care, though. lol) Funny thing is, she's been faking to be vulnerable when posting in 2ch. lol Who in the world is so embarassed as to post those videos?
she might be wapanese who watch japanese animes like sailor moon. But she must be thinking that she deserves live version of sailor moon and laughing at japanese cosplayres at heart.
Well, obviously the game chose her, whether it's something or not. And that can be even confirmed by the fact that you guys keep talking about her, even though you claim her videos are not worth it. Kinda funny to see how some get trapped in all this fuss.
>>861 Oh? You think she's cute. That's ok. Not to alarm you, but it's not good to have this kinda feeling - she must be weak. I should protect her! For a reason or two, she's not that weak. She's from America.
Which one of those two would you say? I would personally pick the が one, but the reason for me asking is that I'm not sure. It just feels more natural to me.
Also, when you type using the IME, how long do you type for before you convert the hiragana to kanji/katakana? If you'd be so kind, please give me some example sentences, then tell me where you hit space before continuing. I find myself hitting space after every word, do you do that?
>>870 俺はアンタの両親を知っています。is correct. You can't use が in place of を here. を marks a direct object. I know [your parents]. が marks (among other things) a subject.
俺はアンタの両親がそれを知っているとは思ってなかった。 I hadn't thought your parents knew about that.
for example, おれは→space→あんた→No conversion→のりょうしん→space →がそれを→enter→しっている→space→ とは→enter→思ってなかった→space→enter if you want to enter displayed ひらがな(hiragana) , just hit enter key. this is the most certain way to enter ひらがな.
>>870 It is true that some intransitive verbs and the -たい form can take the objective particle が, such as 好き, 見たい, 食べたい, etc., but the verb 知っている would not take the が for an object. It's just the way it is. Note that it can have the contrastive particle は to cause a subtle difference in meaning, though.
So Nakai-kun and Kouda Kumi are now an authorised couple? They have been contacting eachother by the pink cellphone secretly but now authorized among family and friends. ^^ They are going to get married in June or July, that's what my source said. is that correct? I'm talking about the Kouda with gloomy and bamstick character after the Yousui comment made few months ago, not the sexy and sporty type Kouda.
>>878 Oh that's great. So they are really going to be togher, huh? I don't think they make a good couple but my approval is not counted since they love eachother lol
Right, they are not really a great looking couple but wouldn't hurt my eyes either. To be honest, I don't care much. but I suppose that's a good thing.
>>881 Yeah, they don't look good togehter also the character won't fit. there seems no compatibility. I would say Nakai has the father personality so he looks good with a fragile type girl while Kouda is strong so she looks good with a guy who doesn't have what it takes and both financially and mentally she should support that guy. I mean I like Kouda, so I prefer another guy for her partner. but anyway, as long as they are happy, that's fine. Congrats!lol
>>878 Yeah, Yousui comment is weird. It seems like celeb are not allowed to say freely in public. Kouda is a public person so she should be less talkative but it is impossible. She is very talkative lol
>>885 I once remember she was saying "Ive never tamperd with my face yet" (means I didn't do the plastic surgery) in front of Hamasaki Ayujmi, whose face was actually changed by the plastic surgery. lol
It's not only biologically incorrect but so inconsiderate towards the women above 35. She is just a DQN, but I guess she'll be careful, if she doesn't want to lose her job.
>>887 I don't know but she's generally a good girl. Only careless, so she learned a lot from there. I guess she would continue her career after getting married to Nakai. bleh lol
yes, it's not that she made a terrible unforgivable comment, it's just that she was hated by everyone and that hatered manifested itself in the shape of bashing on her stupid comment.
>>889 since she had been standing top as a queen, in the music enta world after Hamazaki's precipitous fall of populariity, some people started to grow hatred, maybe.
No, that not it. It's her Ero Kakkoii stuff that has been seriously irrtating people. Absolutely nobody wants to see her cantly clad figure on TV, but she never stops shaving her filth of a body down our throat.
On the other hand, Kumi Koda is a filty peice of shit. She contributes absolutely none to Japanese music in terms of its advancement. But @eople say Kumi replace Ayu as the queen. That's silly in many aspects.
but IMO, we will have less chances to see Ayu on TV. coz she's physically hard to work now. I have no idea. anyway, the enta world will be more and more boring after the absence of Ayu. Kouda shall not sing anymore. maybe after the marriage she wouldm perhaps. but nobody wants to see her.
if her deaf is curable, she would definitely sing. but for the time being, we can't expect her. and I don't want to push her either. let's be nice to a physically challenged person.
Nakai-kun shaved his head to bald. I thought that act is to devote his heart and soul to Kouda. (I don't quite understand why he had to do that...but actually he is bald because of the next movie's role). lol
Speaking of Ayumi Hamasaki -- there's a kid on my floor who *loves* her. I don't know a lot of her stuff, but I've seen a video on Youtube that said that she copied a lot of stuff from Madonna...? What do you guys say about that? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5Jeq3ySn9Q That's the video.
So she's falling from popularity these days? I don't know anything about current trends in Japan...
>>906 she's not very popular anymore. but I'm sure certain number of die-hard fans are out there always.
about copying, she probably did. Madonna is the one who inspires many female musicians in the world. so consicously or unconsciously we all get some influence from her.
>>910 hahahah honke-dori!!! that's funny!! oh yeah, I ve read many posts in music seciton on 2chan, Otsuka Ai did, Ayu did Kouda did Aiko did Nakashima did all the artists did honke-dori!! lol
>>915 I see. but I would laugh hard if Obama's speech was complete imitation of someone's. it is difficult to copy someone's work's essence without seeming to it.
>>912 A tragic heroine is the theme which most efficiently strike a tender chord in the Japanese. In other words, the disclosure of her medical problem was intended to salvage her ever-deteriorating popularity.
Do you want to sharpen your knee with a plane? If you did so it,the skin of your knee will get rolled up! But the skin of Yuna Kim may bear any kind of attack!
how can I explain. when I imagine her, I feel like having some vomit that I puked few minutes ago are still in my stomach. some kind of sour taste in my mouth.
and look at her eyes. left or right eye is completely seeing in a different direction. line of sight of both eyes are not seeing to the same direction. it tells me that she suffered from mental sickness. that's for sure. maybe you call that state "strong". it's not strong she's ruined completely lol
>>961 is a DPRK agent in disguise as a feline trying to undermine the ethical and upstanding name of the PRC. You would do well to ignore him. Meanwhile, I will send my Cat-Like Annihilation War Squad (CLAWS for short) to track down and exterminate him.
utter copying is no creation. this is what hamasaki is doing.
for example star wars is a real creation even if it's inspired by kurosawa and others. gundam is also real creation even though it's influenced by star wars and Starship Troopers. We have to separate copy from inspiration.
>>967 In a footrace, not trying to run fast is better than that places up at the first because once you get it, you must work for your classmates as an all-star player of your class, which you need to assumes the responsibility of running over the expanded track. I never want to tire for their foot.
What's the strict difference between bun and bread? I have just known pan(パン) is not english. pan(パン) is foreign word anyway, but I don't know where it comes from.
If it's a foreign word, it probably comes from the Spanish word 'pan' (similar to the French word 'pain'), which is their word for bread. before now, I thought it was just coincidence that they sounded the same.
Anyway, bread is generally just any product made from wheat that takes the form of objects such as loaves, buns, rolls, and so on. A bun takes form of a sort of round, semi-spherical bread, usually not very large. http://www.zefrank.com/theshow/gallery/d/2440-2/OurBun.jpg
>>970 I was very shy and withdrawn child in my hignschool. Maybe I am still... But I wonder why I did such a thing.
I deliberately ran slow to avoid the important role of marathon relay race between classes. I set the record of middle level and was given the role to run in the middle of the race.
A girl who relayed the buton was the girl I liked. Was it by chance? LOL All in all i was a little lucky.
On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.
>>976 Hmm... the Portuguese word for bread is 'pao' though.
>>978 I had a listen, and it's similar to some of the songs on his solo albums. They tend to be quite mellow and slow, different to the X-Japan songs. But I like them. It's one of those songs where you start listening to it, but you can't really concentrate by the end.
'Arigato' derives from 'alligator'; the Japanese used to give alligators as tribute to gods. However, since we could not pronounce the L sound right, the LL became the R.
>>989 Then the link is sorted, a good find. Also, to be fair to the Spanish, there have been links with Spain and Japan since the mid 16th century when Fancisco Xavier (a Jesuit missionary) arrived. Until around 1635, anyway.
>>987 Spiritual healing seems to be based around naiveté and idealism, rather than harsh reality, I guess. Might make it easier for the listener to have positive imagery while listening.
