They show the highland festival in Japan?

Do you mean the one where 7 foot tall men throw logs around?

It's a funny tradition.

>>821
Haha. Yeah!

>>824
Oh... you should probably get that checked out.

Some guys can look really good in a kilt. :-3

> only someone from 4-ch would understand that phrase.
Oh really? O_o;;  Odd, I don't. Ah well.
Delicious ignorance? -_-;;;

>>631
Saying "bloody hell!" is cool? Since when? O_o Woo, I've been cool without knowing about it. Though I imagine a lot of other things I do cancel that coolness out and makes me count as merely silly. xD

Hi and bye, again (O_o)/~

My old router downright died, so I had to purchase a new one. My wallet hurts now... (not that routers are expensive, but still... Owwy.)

i don't know whether they are 7 feet tall big. but big guys
in the kilt are competeing in the field.

NHK(nihon housou kyoukai) broadcasted the scenary of high land festival
between an interval of formal programs. it was only about 1 minute or so.

from midnight till dawn, they regularlly broadcast such a mini program.

Well, only one of the 6 members of the Elitist Superstructure of DQN
would truly be able to grasp the deeply philosophical and metaphysical meaning
behind IT'S TOO MUCH METAL FOR ONE HAND.

>>831
I was sort of exaggerating when I said that they were
7 foot tall, but there have been competitors at around
that height before.

I used to visit DQN three or four times a day... That was a long time ago.
Ah well.
My boyfriend bought me elitist-superstructure-worthy mittens for my
birthday (he found the link for the mittens at DQN, thought they were
neat and would be practical for me) x3 I love them too much.

The best lines ever in there:
"My dynamite body,
But my secret zone is very cute."

The natto tip is rather amusing. I must try it the next time I
have some natto.

i see. high land are well known for tall height.
i learned from eyclopedia.

high landers might be influenced by gene of viking.
i know they are ethnically celts.
is kilt the target of ridicule by english men?
Do young people normally have kilts in Scottland these days?
Because in Japan, not many people have Kimonos, maybe a couple at most,
unless they are into flower arragement, tea ceremonies, and other
traditional culrtural exercises.
Why do birds suddenly appear everytime I walk around?
Just like you, they long to be close to me.

>>843
What's wrong? Of course, this is a Japanese bultinboard but
you should see what people say outside of Japan.
Japanese don't know its history and that's why they hurt Korean's
feelings. That's what people say.
Many non-Japanese people in here seems to
hate or look down on Japanese people deep inside their soul.
I, for one, am different from them, though.
>>845
I don't know if they hate Japan, but sometimes they laugh at our
bad English, yes. I hope we can sophisticate our English and beat
them one of these days.
>>838
No, the kilt isn't very popular these days...
I guess we're in a similair situation as the
Japanese are with kimonos.

Kilts tend to be worn only on special occassions
like weddings and stuff.

>>844
Well, I'm outside of Japan.

And...

Sorry, I'm going to have to correct you there.

Koreans are stereotyped worldwide as being petty and hypocritical.

The fact that you are posting on a Japanese BBS just to annoy
the Japanese doesn't do much to disprove that stereotype.

Actually, the AA character "Nida" is gaining popularity on English BBS
sites such as 4-ch.

I have Korean friends,and I don't like how Koreans
are discriminated against, but it does happen.

I personally have great respect for both Japanese and Korean culture,
and I hope that I can learn Korean too someday.
do you like Yukorin?
Japanese are stereotyped as being sneaky and treacherous. Especially because of their sneak attack on Pearl Harbor in World War Two.
>>844
Just so you know, Koreans are seen as extremely self-conceited people
in the world.
I don't know where they get that notion, but they feel they are
smarter and sperior to other nations for no reason.
I hope they will open their eyes one of these days and realize how
embarrassing to looking down on others to feel one's speriority.

>>846
Actually, Koreans have much stronger accents than Japanese.
The only difference is that Koreans don't realize
how bad their pronunciation is, but Japanese do and try to
make it better.
>>853
really?
I mean Boa's pronunciation is quite good.
So, naturally, you can assume that Koreans as a whole are quite good.
I once met a Korean who told me that Japanese have very bad English accents.
I found that funny because his accent was pretty bad and it was hard for me to understand him.
>>850
The thing I wanna know is where the hell you got that information.
Is there any proof of that?
I have a feeling that you say those horrible things about Koreans just to smear them.
All I can say is this, who are you to judge anybody's English? Koreans, Japanese no less.
Before judging anything, you better look at yourself.
>>854
I agree with you that Boa and Yunsona speak very good Japanese.
What I meant was Koreans in general have very strong accents when they speak
English, much so than Japanese.
>>856
If you just pretend to be non-Korean for a while and listen to
what the rest of the world say about Koreans to you, you'll know what I mean.
That's the proof.
I don't know enough to say anything about this Koreans vs Japanese which people is better at pronouncing English controvercy.
But the one thing I'm pretty much sure about is they both suck, of course, in general.
It's exactly like the which of these acorn is taller situation.
