lunch may be 　lunch box or sandwitch or whatever.

in japanese we say "弁当（べんとう）を食べた"
when we simply array them into english,they 'll be "we ate a bento(弁等）.
container itself is called 弁当箱べんとうばこbentobako.箱hako　corresponds to
box.

I've been told that my ability to convey messages are almost near-native,
but my ability is by no means near the vocabulary level of a high-educated
native. Nor is my grammar usage anywhere near perfect, I do need to work on
that bit. Especially my nasty habit of using the wrong prepositions from
time to time.. I do have a tiny book on that specific subject though, so I
will be reading through it some time soon.

I usually don't have any problems understanding Hollywood movies, and
there it's more likely that some odd expression I'm not accustomed to
may make me wonder, rather than accents. But naturally words being
conveyed in odd tones and pitches can be difficult to properly decipher.
