Every machine shop, holes of many sizes must be made in metal parts. 「
Some of these holes must be very smooth and straight with an exact size and accurate location. 「
In any way, holes must be made with proper tools such as a drilling machine or drill press. 「
It is important to obtain the knowledge of and skill with a drilling machine and tools for the practice in a machine shop. 「
Although many other cutting tools are used, the twist drill is the most prominent.
Whether the drill is large or small, carbon or high-speed steel, held in a chuck or otherwise, and used with a jig or without, the principles of its operation are nearly the same.
If many pieces of the same kind have to be drilled, a drill jig can save a lot of time and money.
It is a tool for holding the workpiece while it is being drilled, and at the same time it can guide a drill to the exact position specified.
Of course, considerable fund may be needed to prepare a jig, but the savings in time and effort would pay for the money expended. 「would pay for the money expended」は「お金を費やすために払う」になってしまいます。
savings in time and effortで時間と労力の節約。
I've been down this road, walkin' the line That's painted by pride And I have made mistakes in my life That I just can't hide Oh I believe I am ready for what love has to bring I got myself together; now I'm ready to sing
I've been searching my soul tonight I know there's so much more to life Now I know I can shine a light To find my way back home
One by one the chains around me unwind Every day now I feel that I can leave those years behind Oh I've been thinking of you for a long time There's a side of my life where I've been blind and so
I've been searching my soul tonight I know there's so much more to life Now I know I can shine a light Everything gonna be alright
I've been searching my soul tonight Don't wanna be alone in life Now I know I can shine a light To find my way back home
Baby I've been holding back now my whole life I've decided to move on now Gonna leave all my worries behind
Oh I believe I am ready for what love has to give Got myself together; now I'm ready to live
I've been searching my soul tonight I know there's so much more to life Now I know I can shine a light Everything gonna be alright
I've been searchin' my soul tonight Don't wanna be alone in life Now I know I can shine a light To find my way back home
167 :I Will Survive (College Version):01/11/16 05:26
At first I was afraid Now I'm petrified That I can't keep my GPA of 2.5 I spent all those stupid nights Chilling way too long And that was wrong But now I must be strong
And now they're back They're in my face 3 finals and 2 papers to be done in just five days! I shouldn't have gone out I shouldn't have partied 'Cause now all this work I have Is piling up on me!
And I must go to the library To do research on those papers And, yes, I must study It's hell, I'll tell you that and you know it's not a lie But I can't crumble I can't lay down and die
Oh no not I! I will survive! If I keep a 2 point O At least I'll be alive! I've got five more days to live and I think my brain will give But I'll survive! I will survive!
At first I was afraid, I was petrified Kept thinkin' I could never live without you by my side; But then I spent so many nights Thinkin' how you did me wrong And I grew strong And I learned how to get along And so you're back, from outta space I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face I should have changed that stupid lock I should have made you leave your key If I had known for just one second you'd be back to bother me
Go now go, walk out the door Just turn around now Cause you're not welcome anymore Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye Think I'd crumble? Think I'd lay down and die?
Oh no, not! I'll survive Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll be alive I've got all my life to live I've got all my love to give and I'll survive I will survive. Hey, hey
It took all the strength I had not to fall apart Kept tryin' hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart And I spent oh so many nights Just feelin' sorry for myself I used to cry But now I hold my head up high And you see me, somebody new I'm not that chained up little person still in love with you And so you feel like droppin' in And just expect me to be free Now I'm savin' all my love for someone who's lovin' me
hello I wish I could send you, but I don't know how. you might not like the bike. I just want to make sure if it's really ok to you. I'll send you if I find out the way.
>172 'Iwish I could...but'だと「残念ながらできません」の 意味になる可能性大。よって、 'I'm happy to ship the bike to you, but my problem is that I don't know how to send it overseas." こんなのはどーでしょか?
Don't lose your way With each passing day You've come so far Don't throw it away Live believing dreams are for weaving Wonders are waiting to start Live your story faith, hope and glory Hold to the truth in your heart
Originally settled by the Spanish coming from Mexico, San Francisco was only a small village until gold was discovered at Sutter's Mill in 1849. This set off the so-called " Gold Rush ", which in two short years transformed the small village to a bustling port city. In 1906, a major earthquake and the resulting fire completely destroyed the city, but in a short time, it was rebuilt through the determination of its citizens. Since its reconstruction and to the present day, San Francisco remains one of the most charming and cosmopolitan cities in the world.

Top Rock is the first move you should learn. You'll probably use it every time you break. The point is to form the circle, get people's attention and to get some rooms to bust your moves.
Start with the basic sixth step. Start on all fours facing the floor. Step one. Raise your right hand and bring your left foot forward to where your right hand were. Step two. now move your right foot forward and under your left leg.
Back Spin. Step one. Sit on the floor with your left leg bent and right leg back in a 90 degree angle.
Swipes. Step one. On all fours facing the seat. For starters, just practice the arm movement.
Turtle. One. Start in a leaning position, bend your arms and bring your elbows to your sides.
Windmill. Get in a hand spin position with your left arm on the side of your stomach. Keep your legs spread apart and balance on your left hand. Raise your left leg, and turn your boby with your right hand.
maybe you don't need to be THAT polite in english if you start saying don't think ill of me if I ask you to... they will think you have mental problems. lol could I bother you for a cup of water... I beg of you not to think ill of me in those regards since I am such a pest. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for the unseemly hassle I am causing you. My family will be ashamed for generations to come~

Also living together with nature is making inconvenience joy for your life. We accept nature's demands to start living together with nature. However, it seems opposite way to live in comvenient urbanized society.
>>220 自然と折り合っていくのは、不便、不自由さを逆手にとって楽しむということでもある。 Getting along with nature means enjoyng inconvenience,
We begin to do so by accepting what nature forces us to accept.
We can say that it is an opposition of pursuing convenience and rationality, which are the characters of an urban city life.
Living in peace with nature is to enjoy, rather than not, a lack of convenience and amenity. We start it with accepting what it forces upon us. It may be said an opposite approach in city life with which we pursue more rational and convenient way of life.
Most of us found the tumbling rains of October merely boring. Even thoseof us who have been accustomed to defend rain as one of the glories of nature all but lost patience with it during the gusty foulness of the ultimate week-end. Ordinary rain is all very well for the young and stalwart, but waht is to be said in favour of floods that chase mighty footballers fronthe field and under the chill of which hardened referees are carried fainting to the pavilion? 'Nature I loved', said the sunny skies of Italy. I defy any man to say that he loved Nature as she revealed herself on Saturday in the suburbs of London.
Yet even during the miseries of October there were a few joyful spirits whose eyes brightened every morning that threatened or promised the world another grey deluge. They were the people who keep rain-gauges, the people for whom every inch of rain above the average is a personal triumph. They are supremely happy only when there is no rain at all , or next to none, with the result that crops languish and men and beasts are in despair, or when there is such a tidal wave of rain that roads and river-banks are flooded and mud and misery are the universal lot. Either extreme is to them an exciting event. They watch their wretched rain-gauges as Australian boys watch Bradman's cricket, and an additional inch of rain is for them the equivalent of twenty runs in a Test Match.
If a reporter breaks the rules by exposing too much of a story or giving a story a negative tone, he orshe could lose membership in the kisha club. This means that an ambitious reporter whowants to thoroughly investigate a story or present an opposite viewpoint is sometimes prevented from doing so. The limits on the press are especially noticeable rearding coverage of the Imperial Family. It is rare that newspapers say anything negative about them and all published photos must be officially approved.
I'm getting ready to watch some meteors tonight and I hope you guys get a chance as well. I have been in the studio everyday writing the new album which is very much guitar driven. Some people think when I say beat-oriented that I mean it won't be heavy, but I assure you it will. Joey from Slipknot has worked on a track with me and I am currently collaborating with Thim Skold (KMFDM). I'd like to sneak everyone a listen soon if you all behave. And by the way, the video for Tainted Love couldn't be any more sarcastic and the "making of" photos are compressed so it squashes the height. So all the concerns about me being fat are silly, just watch the video. And the contrast is misleading, so don't get stressed out that I have a tan either. Sometimes you guys are more brutal than me. I guess I got to love that .
I'm always here but I've been putting my thoughts into the album. So don't think for a minute I forgot you. You are going to love the new record, because it takes no shit from nobody (sic).
Much of this book uses the words 'Japan' and 'North America' as if each of two places had one single identity. However, each place does not have just one single culture. Rather, both places have a mianstream culture, plus subcultures of several minority groups. The way that these minority groups have been treated reflects the two societies:North America shows a diveres face while Japan shows a homojeneous one.
The advantage of the kisha club system is that it helps keep harmony in society by not exposing information that could prevent government members or the police from doing their jobs.
Unlike the Western press, Japanese newspapers act less as an outside pressure on the government or police; instead, they are a part of the whole policy-making system.
In The Sunday Park Light in the afternoon I listen to the sound of my dream Coming through All the mountains of Blueberries and greens fairy tale lullaby
I was down last night Too much to handle here I didn't know how to carry on Still lucky All the mess in my head, is fading now Among the crowd on the street
I wish you'd come to my place You would be smiling so close to me I wish the day dream rever ends
I'm the kind of girl, who lives only for today but I think it's o.k. to be myself Especially when you're not around I need someone to hold I know how to have fun
I wish you were here by my side we would be talking something silly I wish the day dream never ends
when I feel a single beat of my lonely heart I can sing, I can cry, without knowing why Yes I tried and I tried to the way to you somehow life always leads through a maze
everyday everynight you live in my mind everyday everynight still pleasure and pain melodies of memories will never stop you are with me until the end of time just a day dream in The Sunday Park
It's my fathers' voice dreaming off sailors sailin' off in the mornin' For the air-conditioned rooms at the top of the stairs His jaw's been broken his bandages wrapped too tight His fangs have been pulled and I really wanna see you tonight
There's bourbon on the breath of the singer you love so much He takes all his words from the books you don't read anyway His jaw's been broken his bandages wrapped too tight His fangs have been pulled and I really wanna see you tonight
Someone ties a bow in my backyard to show me love My voice is climbin' walls smoking I want love My jaw's been broken myheart is wrapped in ice My fangs have been pulled and I really wanna see you tonight
And it makes no difference to me How they cried all over on the seas When it's hot in the poor places tonight I'm not goin' outside
They cried all over on the seas And it makes no difference to me And it's hot in the poor places tonight I'm not goin' outside

X JAPAN はリーダー YOSHIKI(Drums, Piano etc), TOSHI(Vocal), HIDE(Guitar), PATA(Guitar), HEATH(Bass) の5人からなるバンドである。
We always take a good care of packing, since we believe packing is one of the most important elements in our business. We apologize for the damage that we have caused and do our best so this will not happen again in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
X-JAPAN was originally named as "X", however, they changed the name prior to their world debut, since they found the name had already been take by some American other group.

Someone said that more than a thousand stars were moving in the sky when Meteor Storm was most active. I am not sure if I could see such a large-scale activity again.

She had to go first to Mrs. Matthews’ house, to break the news gently, and also to explain that she had tried her best to prevent the accident. She found that she must have been walking really fast, which . She had reached the newspaper shop at the end of the High was surprising.
She saw Sybil Grainger coming out of the newspaper shop, and she was ready to say “Hi!” and to pretend that there was nothing wrong, but luckily Sybil seemed not to have seen her. She turned the corner into Grange Road,
relieved that she hadn’t had to carry on a conversation. Grange Road also seemed shorter than usual; now she had to go along Fenton Crescent till she reached the small side street where Mrs. Matthews lived.

(3) Her heart beat furiously as she opened the small gate and walked the short distance up to the front door, rehearsing exactly how to say what she had to. She stood at the door. She thought she heard a dog bark inside.
Steps came slowly, dragging a little, along the passage. The door opened, and she prepared herself for a scolding. But when Mrs. Matthews looked out, she behaved in a very strange way. Instead of saying immediately, “Where’s Togo?”
she asked nothing of her visitor. She bent forward, looking up and down the street as if she were searching for something or someone who might be coming or going in the street.
Her head with its thinning gray hair was so close that the girl stepped back, opening her mouth to began her explanation. But what she saw in the passage behind the old women stopped her from uttering a sound.
At the further end of the passage was a dog. Togo. Togo, whole, apparently unharmed, and the end of the broken leash still attached, dragging behind him.

She had never seen Togo tremble before. She started to speak. But Mrs. Matthews appeared not to have heard her. She was turning back to calm the terrified dog. She was saying, “Whatever’s the matter with you, Togo? Think you’re seeing a ghost?”

ある日の電話で彼女が ”...do u still love me?"と聞きました。彼は、 ”you are part of my life, you know that"と答えました。
you are part of my life..

Scientific advancesoften come from uncovering some previously unseen aspect of things, not so much as a result of using some new instrument, but rather of looking at objects from a new angle. Scientific investigation begins by inventing a possible world, or, a piece of possible world. So also begins mythical thought. But the latter stops there. Having constructed what it considers not only as the best world but as the only possible one, it easily fits reality into its sceme. Every fact, every event, is interpreted as a sign that is emitted by the invisible forces controlling the world, and therefore that proves their existence and importance.

Two roads deverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other,as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh,I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I shuld ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Handy phones are convenient, but there are bad faces. We should think about the electromagnetic waves transmitted from handy phones. While Japanese newspapers print similar news and opinions, and take holidays on the same days, North American papers, like the people, show much more diversity and less harmony. In North America, the newspaper industry, like any other business is in a competitive market. Newspapers are in the business of making money and to do this, they must give the market what it wants; truth and entertainment. If they don't, people will buy another newspaper. North Americans want to know the whole story even if (and sometimes, especially if) it disrupts harmony and causes embarrassment. This means that reporters investigate stories deeply in the hope that they can find new information which will help to sell papers.

therefore, each newspaper contains different stories and opinions. In fact, every newspaper takes a political side, left right, or center, and even encourages their readers to vote for a certain political party during elections. Japanese newspapers never do this. Also, American newspapers tend to provide more analysis of issues, while Japanese papers write more about the thoughts and feelings of their leaders.
Naturally, the pursuit of truth by reporters helps prevent people like politicians from abusing their power and becoming corrupt. However, this pursuit of truth can have a bad side, too. The press in North America receives much criticism because it pursues stories too vigorously. One result is that politicians and famous people sometimes completely lose their privacy when there is news about such things as their sex lives on the front pages. Also, when stories such as bombings or scandals first appear, papers sometime make mistakes about who is to blame. Because of this, over half of Americans think that news reports are often inaccurate. It has also been found that journalists are muchmore influenced by pressures from their bosses or the desire to be rich and famous than by the need toreport the news fairly. Again, such problems reflect North American culture, which is more concerned about doing business successfully, in this case selling newspapers, than keeping harmony.
I am sorry but we are asking all our customers to cooperate.
Sir, you need to get your food before taking a seat. That's what the manager told us to do.

I like blood donation. I have donated four times after becoming the sophomore. The blood donation room on my way back from the school attracts me to enter. The room was hygienic, well equipped, which makes me very comfortable.
There equipped a LCD TV set in each bed for donation, and we can play with internet or read magazines after donation.
We feel a little bit painful when inserting a needle for blood drawing, but it is a kind of fun when we see our blood is accumulated in the bag.
Blood donation is inevitable for the patients who are suffering from injuries or diseases. I will co-operate blood donation for constant blood supply to medical cares.

It nowhere near suficient for countries or companies only to seek arranging for tax burdens that are favorable only to themselves.

So the people of the valley sent a message up the hill Asking for the buried treasure, tons of gold for which they'd kill Came an answer from the kingdom, "with our brothers we will share All the beauty of the mountain, all the riches buried there."
Now the valley cried with anger, "Mount your horses, draw your swords" And they killed the mountain people, so they won their just rewards Now they stood beside the treasure, on the mountain, dark and red Turned the stone and looked beneath it, "Peace on earth" was all it said
let us take as simple an ezample as the addressing of envelopes. many who start with the general and move to the particular begin the address with the country;then they write the province;then the city; the distrikt pf the city;the street;and finally the member of the actual house. in the united states people start with the smallest item, namely the number of the house. the address then moves on to the large divisions:the street, the town, the state, and finally the country.
This success must fist and foremost be credited to the many dedicated conributors, who have generously offered their time and competence and made this survey what it is today.
The increace in certificates issued in UK is lowest recorded for that country -a more 25- which might suggest that the certification market in Britain has ground to a halt. In fact, one of the leading British certification bodies appears to have got its sums wrong in 1999 obiging us to carry out a readjustment and subtract 1900 certificates from the year 2000 total.
Have you made a survey from your side? I inquired this problem to the custom. If it is stopped at the custom, they will inform me, But if not, the custom will not stop the items at the office. If it is lost on the way, could you send me an alternative?

This totally opposite approach to thinking affects many generations, plans, or attitudes, whether we recognize it or not. If an India, a Thai, or a Mexican asks an American about an overall goal, a basic theory, or a principle, he often feels buried under detail in the answer he gets. He is confused by a flood of statistics or a long description of method before he hears any overall purpose or plan. People joke, " Ask an American the time and he tells you how to built a clock! " Americans, on the other hand, feel equally frustrated when they ask for a specific fact or detail but then are subjected to twenty minutes of theory or philosophy without a single concrect fact!

To survive on the earth, human beings the suitable, continuing existence of a suitale environment. Yet the evidence is overwhelming that the way in whitch we now live on the earth is driving its thin, life-supporting skin, and ourselves with it, to destruction. To understand this calamity, we need to begin with a close look at the nature of the environment itself. Most of us find this a difficult thing to do, for there is a kind of conflict in our relation to the environment. Biologically, human beings participate in the environmental system as subsidiary parts of the whole. Yet, human society is designed to exploit the environment as a whole, to produce wealth. The paladoxical role we play in the natural environment- at once participant and exploiter-distorts our perception of it.
Among primitive people, a person is seen as a dependent part of nature, a frail reed in a harsh world gpverned by natural lows that must be obeyed if he is to survive. Pressed by this need, primitive peoples can achieve a remarkable knowledge of their environment. The African Bushman lives in one of the harshestplaces on earth; food and water are scarce, and the weather is extram. The Bushman survives because he has an intimate understanding of this environment. A Bushman can, for example, return after many months and miles of travel to find a single underground tuber, noted in his previous wanderings, when he needs it for his water supply in the dry season.
As with many of the topics in this book, newspapers in Japan and North America have many more similarities than differences. For example, newspapers in both societies are largely free to report the news and they do so puite objectively. At a different level, both Japan and North America have weekly newspapers, called 'tabloids' in North America, which focus on gossip about famous people. These similarities show that both societies appreciatr objectivity and people understand the difference between news that is serious and news that is not. Still, there are small, but important differences, and they reflect some of the deeper cultural values held by both societies.

Once bitten and twice shy. I keep my distance, But you still catch my eye. Tell me baby, do you recognize me? Well, it's been a year; it doesn't surprise me.
(Happy Christmas) I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying "I love you". I meant it. Now I know what a fool I've been, But if you kissed me now I know you'd fool me again.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special.

A face on a lover with a fire in his heart, A man under cover but you tore me apart Now I've found a real love you'll never fool me again.
Maybe next year I'll give it to someone, I'll give it to someone special.

That's the jingle bell That's the jingle bell rock

To tell the truth, when I read this sentence at first, I could not understand what the author wanted to say in the context. At the beginning of the sentence, the author compared the difference between the language by Howard (present administration) and that written in the booklet on immigrants in 1940's, saying that it is too much exclusive at present, while he said that the time like 1940's (the time when the language of the booklet) may come. These matters seems to be contradictory to me. Did the author write this sentence with expectation to the present administration?
However, in the middle of the sentence, I was much interested in the part that the administration won the election by taking the attitude of refusing illegal immigrants, and the people knew the administration would not keep the present position no more, which would be chosen as the worst means.
As you know, since I have written a topic of illegal immigration in my essay, I have studied the policy of the present administration over the illegal immigrants a little . I felt it was so severe that the administration would consider only themselves alone, and they would ignore the humanity. As I have written in my essay, I believe the indication is quite right that referred as "Howard does not consider others just like those who are driving the car under the influence of alcohol"

The eco-challenge is survival race. Each team in the race has four members. The teams travel across wilderness for six to ten days with a compass and a map. The courses pass through mountains, canyons, rivers, lakes and deserts. The racers have to run up and down mountains, climb rocks, and pass through narrow passages between canyon walls. They sometimes have to paddle rafts though rapids, or swim through cold water. Rain, wind, cold and heat make the conditions even worse. If a team loses a member for any reason, the team is disqualified. The Eco-challenge is held in wild locations all over the world, so the race held in Borneo in 2000, the racers navigated through ancient caves. They also had to paddle along winding rivers in canoes, and rappel down waterfalls. A Japanese team took part in this race. They finished 13th out of 76 teams. The race is a challenge to human limits. Doctors and guides stand by to take care of injured and sick racers. Seventy-six teams started the race and only 44 reached the finish line in 2000.
