40代ビーヲタにとって>>1のようなことは自称「ロックファン」にたえず言われ続けられてきたことだ。
中学の時はﾊﾟｰﾌﾟﾙのコピバンをやったが、ギターのﾔﾝｷｰにそう言われた。その後ｾｯｸｽﾋﾟｽﾄﾙが流行り、その時はﾆﾜｶパンク野郎に「ｼﾞｮﾝは糞だ」と言われた。80年代になりポールの軟弱ポップもあいまって最低扱いだった。
しかし今はかなり評価が高くなったと思う。
ま、批判するヤシの共通点というのがあってそれはあのデビュー当時のスタイルが気に入らないということと、あまり後期を批判するヤシがいなかったということだ。

80年代の初め頃、ポール・ウェラーが同じことで
ストーンズ批判して、逆にフーを持ち上げてたな。
曲名はカッコいいし、歌詞も何だか難しいこと書いてるけど、
ストーンズって上辺だけで、一番中身がないって思うな。
