As for me, it is difficult to take a firm stance. I really love democracy, but I really hate war. But, if there were a simple answer, we would know it, wouldn't we? I hope it turns out alright.
Without the Iraq war, the dictator might have killed a lot of people now. There is no person who likes war. However, power is also necessary to sometimes defend peace.
It is work of parents who teach directions of chopsticks. Teaching at It is a mistake to teach at the school. it is also certain that there is a child who cannot use it actually well. The school should make parents teach the child the usage of chopsticks.
>>41 For Japanese, chopsticks are considered a symbol of Japanese culture? Is that it? So, that's why they want kids to hold their chopsticks a certain way? Parents and teachers used to force American kids to hold eating utensils and writing utensils a certain way, and with their right hand only, but have given that up. Well, very young kids learn to a certain extent, but for older kids and teachers, we say "let people be individuals." I think America isn't a very traditional society.
Chopsticks are tools also in China and other Asian nations used. The Japanese doesn't think chopsticks to be an unique culture.
Does Magibon know Sushi Police more than it? The sushi is an unique culture of Japan. I think the United States sushi to be no sushi of original Japan.
Good morning. Magibon Iam fan of you. (Heather Martin - When Are You Coming Home) Do you know this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVFF98kNg8Q This song makes me so sad, when I watched it. But her voice moved me profoundly. How do you think this video?
Hi Magibon!! you really come here. By the way, I'm not good at using chopsticks. And probably even some Japanese are not good at using chopsticks, especially for young ( I am one of ojisan generation). So, this is the reason why some Japanese high school will plan to include chopstick skill entrance examination. And this is conservative cultural attitude, I think. I'm afraid that this tendancy may be linked to nationalistic attitude. Any way, I am not good at using chopsticks, but I really grasp a grain of rice by chopsticks. So, Mis Magibon, can you use Japanese chopsticks?? Do you like rice?? You like ketchup, I know your youtube.
>>85 Sorry! I wasn't checking this thread. I can use chopsticks, but I'm probably not doing it perfectly. I love rice! You are right that I'm crazy about ketchup, too. ^_^ I would never combine ketchup with rice though... Thanks for watching my YouTube videos! And, for replying to my question so nicely. ^__^
