DeLores Tucker today spoke at the MCI Worldcom Shareholders Meeting in Clinton@` Mississippi@` to demand that the corporate giant pull its ad dollars from the most violent and vulgar program on prime time television@` WWF Smackdown!. MCI ads have appeared in all but two episodes of Smackdown!. Though contacted repeatedly regarding its support of this program@` MCI has continued to deny it bears any responsibility for the content of the programs it sponsors. Therefore@` Mr. Allen and Dr. Tucker flew to Mississippi@` at PTC expense@` to speak with the board of directors and fellow shareholders@` imploring them to stop supporting this trashy show that is marketed weekly to three million children across the country.
