チンコイのは、つい最近まで生き残っていたようです。
多分、小人型UMAとして有名な「オラン=ペンデグ」にあたるものかも。
伝承では15世紀まで生き残っていたらしい。
現地島民による波状攻撃で数が減ったところを、洞窟に追い込んで火をかけて絶滅させたらしい。

京都大学霊長類研究所の現地調査では、現地の植生から養える霊長類の重量は限定的。
つまり、大型類人猿の生息は無理っぽいという結論だった。
ヒマラヤの植生は回復が遅いからなぁ。

アイヌ民族に滅ぼされたとされるコロボックス
彼らは伝承ではかなり小さな小人となっているが多分、大和民族に追いやられたアイヌ民族が北海道に渡った時にすでに住み着いていた
アイヌ民族より小柄な体格の北海道のアイヌ以前の先住民族だったのだろうが。

中国には山都と呼ばれる山に棲む毛だらけの二足歩行をする妖怪の伝説があるし。
日本にだって山にすむ人たちの伝説がある。
これはサンカのような山の民を蔑視した結果、生まれた伝説とみなすことが出来るが。

バッティングしています。というか、人類に滅ぼされたという説まであるようです。
その当時の人類には文字はなかったと思われますが「伝承」という形で「伝説」となり

個人的な仮説で 昔は日本に（江戸時代くらい）は獣人はいたと
思います。一部では河童とか山姥や妖怪系で属されてなんらかの理由で絶滅した。
最後にはもう浦和レッズの人しか生き残ってないと思います。
海外では十二分にいる可能性がある土地や環境があって日本領土並みの未開の地が
沢山あります。ロッキー山脈やヒマラヤ山脈とかです。アマゾンにも未開の地域はたくさんあると聞きました。

店内に13、4人ほど居合わせた客全員に店内にあった色紙を使い サインをしてくれた。
