09/10/2001. West Ham boss Glenn Roeder has praised goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, not only for his fine performance in the goalless draw at Derby at the weekend, but for his overall attitude over recent weeks.
Hislop looked set to drop to second choice after David James was signed from Aston Villa, however after injury ruled him out before making his debut, Hislop has remained between the sticks ・earning nothing but praise.
Roeder said, 鉄haka Hislop made two or three good saves and he deserved his clean sheet. He was obviously very disappointed when David James came into the club but took it in the manner of a model professional. He didn't get down about it, he worked hard in training and he has had three very good games." でもさ、そのあと御用済みになったんだよね。 人の運命はわからない。。。。
