The September 16th debut episode jumped 43% in Live + 3 ratings, nabbing a 5.0 rating & 13.2 million viewers compared with the Live + Same Day numbers which were a 3.5 rating & 10.1 million viewers. That makes it the best debut for a Fox fall drama series since the launch of “24″ (5.4/13) all the way back in November 2001.
・The James Spader procedural delivered 12.6 million viewers and a 3.8 rating among adults 18-49 at 10 p.m.
・the Voice debut had 14.7 million and a 4.9 rating ― up 17 percent from last fall. That’s the best premiere for The Voice since its post-Super Bowl episode last year .
“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” blew away its fall competition with the biggest network drama debut in four years. The ABC show earned a 4.6/14 in the key 18-49 demo, with 11.9 million total viewers.
At CBS, “NCIS” was followed by the premieres of “NCIS: Los Angeles” (3.0/8 in 18-49, 16.2 million viewers overall) and “Person of Interest” (2.3/6 in 18-49, 12.3 million viewers overall)
ABC has to be pleased with its performance from 8 to 10 p.m., but new 10 o’clock drama “Lucky 7″ opened to weak numbers (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall).
