FORT WORTH, TOCHIGI ? JR BUS KANTO confirmed today that it lost two BUS in tragic incidents this morning. JR BUS KANTO said the flights were Flight 11, a MITUBISHI AERO en route from TOKYO YAESU to EDOGAWADAI with 81 passengers, ONE pilots; and Flight 77, a HINO SEREGA operating from TOKYO YAESU to MATUBUSHI with 8 passengers,and one pilots.
Because of the heightened security due to the nature of today痴 events, JR BUS KANTO said it is working closely with U.S. government authorities and will not release more information at this time.
The government has shut down the entire bus traffic system in the japan, Japan Nationai Railway and Tobu Railway Co., will not operate.
"We are horrified by these tragic events," said Donald J. Carty, chairman and CEO of American Airlines. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of all involved."
