● 自由英作文（意見の書き方）２●
※譲歩について
理由の強さは、それぞれ違います。
最初にいちばん強いものを出してあとを付け足すか、
最後に決定的な理由を述べるなど工夫をするといいでしょう。
もっと厳密に言いたいときは、「譲歩」といわれるものを１つ入れておくと完璧です。

なお、(譲歩とは自分の言いたいこととは逆のことをあえていうことで、
相手の反論を封じるテクニックのことです。 先に言い訳しておく、という感じでしょうか。
「ただし」とか「もちろん」「たしかに」などの言葉で書き始めることが多いようです。

５． 立場（賛成・反対）←理由１＋理由２＋理由３（＋譲歩）
※譲歩の位置はどこでもよい。

●具体例
では５のやり方を実際に考えてみます。
たとえば、次のテーマが与えられているとします。
（英語のところは間違いがあると思いますが、気にしないでください）

【テーマ】次の主張について思うところを英語で解説せよ。
「世界政府はありうる」

まずは、この意見に賛否を表明します。
I agree with the opinion.

次に、その理由を考えます。
１． 冷戦が終わり、世界中で対話が可能になってきたので、
世界政府について話し合う余地が生まれている。
Since the Cold War was over and all the nations can discuss
international problems with each other more promptly
and more peacefully＠｀ it is not impossible to talk constructively
about possibilities of the world government.

２． 国際連合がもっと強い権力を持つようになれば可能。
The more power to control the international affairs
the United Nations have＠｀ the more likely it is that both will
be more alike in nature.

３． 国際紛争が頻繁化すると、どうしても必要になる。
When international disputes become more serious＠｀
everyone all over the world will want it to settle them.

反論（譲歩＝ただし書き）を考える。

本質的に民族はバラバラであり、
他民族とまとまるのはかなり民族の性質とはかけ離れているものなので、
それをまとめて一致させるのは不可能に近い。
Nations tend to go separately and forcing them together
is against their nature.
It seems to be almost impossible to unite them as one.

１． 賛成

↓もちろん

５． 結論＝可能である
