For American literature, I like a lot. ^_^
Maybe Mark Twain is my favorite, but there are so many.
I have only read "Of Mice and Men" by Steinbeck, but it was so good that I want to read more.
I want to read "East of Eden" soon.
I should read more anyway. (._.')

About Mark Twain, I have read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn when I was child.
And when grow up, I remember I bought his book about kind of jokes.
He is also one of few American opposite aginst the Philippine-American War.
I think he was a very interesting person. You said you had read
"Of Mice and Men" in Japanese "二十日鼠と人間。 I read it when I was
an elementary school student(^o^)But The most faborite work of him is
The Grapes of Wrath.
