Here is one of coldest place in the world. The prison. The catch line is, "These inmates are very real and are seeking you!" http://www.meet-an-inmate.com/
Wow, I'm glad to see so many people already replying. ^_^ >>56 Oh, thanks for the language tip. I won't use those subjects as often from now on.
It's 2007 now. I always feel a little scared when the year changes. Why is that? I think the passage of time is frightening. I don't like to think that way, but I really can't help it.
I spent last year in healing and reflection. This year, I'd like to have more action and excitement. I really want to start shaping a future for myself. I think that I will have to work some more at jobs I don't like, though. Then, maybe I will save enough money to go to college. I'll go to college far away, I think. ^_^

Don't you think? we like the soy sauce or, the ~ it changes and increases. The soy sauce and it is something which represents Japan, but the miso soup you do not have to forget. The miso soup selling in America, it increases? The littleneck clam juice is highest! Canada and the American [te] almost it is the same to become matter of concern, don't you think?. Being disjointed with something? That and the American person, when the alien has lived on this earth, is that one person believes in three people, but it is true? Do you believe [AREA51-rozueru] incident? I, think that it is true, but…
So many people are talking in this thread today! ^_^ Is it because of winter break?
会話があることがうれしいです。
>>122 I think miso soup is probably selling better in America now that there are more Japanese restaurants. People try it at a restaurant, and then they like it and buy it at the store. As for me, I have only been to a Japanese restuarant once, when I visited the city, and I tried it. The first taste was strange, but it somehow filled me with warmth. As I ate more, and I really liked it! I also thought it tasted somewhat salty. Do you feel warm when you eat it, or am I the only one? I have not seen any instant miso soup in the grocery store in my town, but that store is slow to get international products. When is clam juice used? I've never tasted it. As for Area 51, I believe there is something... I can't believe every single theorie, but I do believe that there is some truth to some of the theories. By the way, have you seen the video of the alien interview? I wonder if it's real?
>>131 Of course I had it as a side dish. >>133 Of American Universities, it has one of the best programs for studying Japanese and Japan. Also, I want to try living in Hawaii. ^_^

>>228 Oh! I think I saw her on variety shows, but I did not know her name. I noticed how she is strikingly pretty. I think I saw a program where she bought manga and cosplay clothing, and the bill was really high! Also, isn't she quite good at drawing pictures? Or, maybe I am thinking of a different person? Thanks for those links! She's so cute in the costume!!!
She is good at drawing the Manga. She has work to write the Manga in the book. And, she likes costume play.
Her father was a singer and an actor. And, it was called David Bowie of Japan. However, she has died to him of leukemia in childhood. She is a popular very person recently.
>>230 I'm am sorry to hear the sad news. My heart really goes out to her, and I hope her father is in a peaceful place. I am sure he is very proud of her success. So, she is mangaka? She does all kinds of work? That's wonderful. I would like my life to be like that a little bit. Working on several projects would be interesting.

>>225 Oh no. I meant to ask you how your Thanksgiving was. ^^; Anyway it is good to hear you enjoyed Halloween with your sister. It was easy to find this thread. It is just that I followed the link you put on one of the threads in English board. ^_~
So you happens to be interested in Japan and someone from 2ch found your videos on youtube and introduced your video clip here. What a coincidense. What a Internet!
>>233 There is a movie called "Labyrinth." I have loved it since I was a little kid. It is a coincidence that someone here mentioned David Bowie, because he happens to be in that movie! Actually, there are so many movies I really like...
Favorite non-Japanese music? I am into classical music. I like Chopin, Brahms, Vivaldi, and some others. I also like American music from the 50's, 60's, and 90's, oddly. Hahahaha. Really, all decades had some good music. I love a French group called Paris Combo, and Lo'Jo is very interesting.
>>236 I see, I see. If I were anywhere near as beautiful as she is, I don't think I would be living such a normal life! But, I am happy to be myself. ^_^
>>242 Great question! I like both! They're really cute. It's easy to like Jerry better, but it seems like sometimes he is the mean one. I feel a little sorry for Tom because most people like Jerry best. But... why was there so much talking? It's a silent cartoon! ^_^' Well, except for the music. ^_^
>255 Oh, then it really matches, right? >>257 I thought it sounded like his voice, but I never heard him sing in a foreign language before. And, that song wasn't in the movie.
I think I'll head to bed now. I feel bad leaving though. I might be able to reply again, but if not, I am sleeping. ^_^
Hi Magibon. Are you happy in your family life? I rather like solitary life. What do you feel about solitary life. Do you feel sad? 私は、一人の生活の方が好きです。孤独な生活についてどう思いますか。悲しいと感じますか?
I think it is important to be by oneself sometimes, and be with others sometimes. My family life is a lot better than it used to be. I feel really cheerful when I'm with my mom and little sisters. I feel self-reliant when I am by myself. They are both good feelings. ^_^
2ch BBS's Guiudeline No. 3 prohibits threads that contain user handle name(s). Threfore this thread is to be deleted. Doesn't Magibon know about this rule?

I spent last year in healing and reflection. This year, I'd like to have more action and excitement. I really want to start shaping a future for myself.

I think I saw a program where she bought manga and cosplay clothing, and the bill was really high! Also, isn't she quite good at drawing pictures? Or, maybe I am thinking of a different person? Thanks for those links! She's so cute in the costume!!!

I am sure he is very proud of her success. So, she is mangaka? She does all kinds of work? That's wonderful. I would like my life to be like that a little bit. Working on several projects would be interesting.

It's easy to like Jerry better, but it seems like sometimes he is the mean one. I feel a little sorry for Tom because most people like Jerry best. But... why was there so much talking? Hello to all of you who are new here! I'm really happy you like the videos I made. I want to make another one to put in the "Japanese" category like the Kikkoman video. But, I don't know what to do...
Please be careful about your information (like phone numbers)! There are a lot of really good people here, but sometimes there are people who try to cause trouble.
>>284 I think that when two people get married, they should try to stay married. But, if life becomes awful, maybe they should get divorced. If there are children, the parents shouldn't fight too much around the children. But, isn't it sad to forget wedding promises? >>417 I don't drive yet. Everyone else began driving at 16 years old. I didn't want to. I really like to walk, but I think I should learn to drive soon. >>425 Nice to meet you too, and I hope your year is happy. ^_^ >>426 Please work hard at English, while I study Japanese. ^_~
Sorry if I missed something. There are a lot of new replies!
You have to wait until 18 to get a licence here. But girls don't usually drive at your age because they don't seem to be interested having a car. Plus it costs a lot of money to have a car even after you get one.
>>427 I'm sorry to asked you about family matter. That was careless of me. To tell you the truth, I was a bit depressed imagining your difficulties. But now I understand that you are overcoming yours. I guess each person have own difficulties in their own life. And I'm going to do my best to mine this year. (I feel coincidence.)
The mild winter continue in Japan too. Today's tempetature is 11℃(52F).
>>428 That's interesting. Here, most teenagers (boys and girls both) usually get a driver's license as soon as they can. For me, the thought of taking the tests was very stressful, and I was concentrating on school. And, I never wanted to pay all the costs of driving. I would see my classmates driving through town, and they would be yelling and driving really fast. I would think "I don't want to be like that!" Hahaha, I really didn't fit in, but I was happy with myself. ^_^
>>429 It's OK. You didn't upset me. Sometimes I feel really sad when I think about my difficulties, but it feels good to think "I overcame them," when I accomplish something. Or, "I'm still alive and still trying hard, so I must be stronger than I thought!" Without problems, life would be too easy. ^_~b
It was the same temperature here, but a little warmer. Even though my area has different weather from most of the USA, it seems to often have the same weather as Japan. It seems like it even rains at the same time! Maybe it's because I live here and I'm always thinking about Japan? Hahaha.

Yahoo translator wouldn't put さん after the 気象学者 but that was very feminine way to say that. Your keep better and better.
I think your lifestyle is much more Japanese than American. People are quiet, walk, and try to be healthy. You will have no problem blending into our community if you move over here.

I normally like Saturdays. But it today is different because I have to go to the dentist. I just can't bear the thought of whining drills..
Speaking of teeth, you still have that double teeth, right? I don't know what you think but I think they are one of the most attractive features of you. I want to see them in your next video. Please?
>>454 When I go to the dentist, I shake from fear. He gets really annoyed with me.
My teeth are the same as always. I'm really embarassed by them, because no one here ever thought double teeth were cute. We don't have a special name for them like "double teeth." If I can get used to it, I'll show my teeth more in the videos, but I'm still really embarassed. I'll work on it! ^_^
>>284 You divorce? How you think concerning divorce. When approval opposition Magibon would like to see the cute child is born, you do not divorce.
>>427 I think that when two people get married, they should try to stay married. But, if life becomes awful, maybe they should get divorced. If there are
Re:I so think. Several degrees there was a crisis of divorce even at my house, relations of the parent are bad, when it is the large portion which steadily becomes terrible (from trivial thing), it means that the man is bad! When and you quarrel before the child, because influence appears in the growth of the child, we want stopping, is! Because now, as for my parent it is 55Old, quarrel stopped doing but at the time junior high school, it was terrible, is. children, the parents shouldn't fight too much around the children. But, isn't it sad to forget wedding promises? By/MillionKnight
>>456 I thought English has much wider vocabulary in terms of describing human body parts. And they missed 八重歯 (yaeba = double tooth)?? Yaeba has always been regarded as a sign of cuteness here.
I took my little sister to the bakery today. I said "I'll buy you anything you want," and she said "I want a bottle of water!" What kind of child is that!? I also went to the bakery on Friday and bought donuts for my family. It was a treat because we don't eat donuts often but we really like them. I didn't know what to buy, so I decided on jelly donuts. My other little sister returned from school and said "Wow! I really wanted jelly donuts while I was at school!" So, I thought I should buy more jelly donuts today. But, the kind lady accidentally gave me glazed donuts. My mom came home and said "Wow! I almost bought a glazed donut while I was gone! I really wanted one!"
I will remember the first week of 2007 as "Lucky Donuts Week." Haha. ^_^
>>458 I like 2ch. >>459 Yes. If there is violence or abuse, a couple should probably divorce. It's so sad to think about. : ( >>460 When teeth aren't in a perfect line, Americans always call it "crooked teeth." I was surprised when my dentist said "Actually, none of your teeth are turned or crooked." Dentists call it "crowded," but even that is different from "yaeba," and people who aren't tooth experts don't know "crowded." "Crooked teeth" sounds bad in English, so people who are said to have "crooked teeth" are really embarassed about it. That's why everyone goes to the orthodontist in the USA. I went, but after I started to get it fixed, my doctor ran away (he probably broke the law) and the new doctor messed up. So, I didn't go back. That was a few years ago. I feel better to know that some people think my teeth are cute. I don't feel as ugly when I smile! ^_^'' >>482 私のための質問ですか?
Sorry,I'm 482. For instance, I think that Nicole Kidman is very beautiful. However, it differs from the favor. The atmosphere of Magi is very like the Japanese.
I went to orthodentist few years ago. The dentist learnt in USA. It was very kind and excellent. It hung for one million yen or more in Japan. It is 10,000 dollars in the US dollar.
>>486>>487 That makes me really happy! ^_^ This is a little bad, but I asked my mom, "Mom, did you ever know a Japanese man?" She said no, hahaha. I actually looked a lot like my father when I was a baby, so I was only joking when I asked her that.
>>489 Yes, it's so expensive! I don't understand why the cost is so high. Probably only because people are willing to pay it.
By the way, will it be better if I change my alias to Magirin or something? Apparently, a person's underwear is twisted because my alias is in the title of the thread. Of course, the title refers to my Youtube name, and is allowed because this is Streaming section of 2ch. But, if it is too bothersome, I will change my 2ch alias. Please let me know. I only hope it does not insult the esteemed supervisors who have made the decision thus far to allow it.
Japanese medical treatment is very expensive. However, it becomes 70〜80% cheap by the national public health system. Orthodentist is not included in insurance system. And, it is expensive.
When you think need that situation. you can change your name,
>>490 I am >>1. I made a mistake and I am sorry. Creating a thread with a kotehan (= alias used in 2ch) in the title is against the general rules of 2 channel. We will have to take "Magibon" off the title in the next thread.
Magibon, there is one thing I would like to ask. Please keep your videos posted. We don't want to give them reasons to kick us out of the board, do we? :)
>>490 > Apparently, a person's underwear is twisted because my alias is in the > title of the thread. Of course, the title refers to my Youtube name, and > is allowed because this is Streaming section of 2ch.
In addition, 2ch is basically an annonymous BBS. They don't encourage us to make threads intended for exclusive use, namely threads for discussion of a certain ordinary user. This doesn't mean you have to quit being a kotehan. It is up to each user's decision to be a kotehan, but to be involved in a kotehan fan thread is a different matter.
If the thread is deleted, I'll leave. I don't want to cause problems. But, if it is not deleted, then it is allowed, and you don't have to worry about it. Rules exist to keep things peaceful, but those of you who are complaining are the only ones being disruptive.
Because it doesn't hurt anyone, I'll stay here until someone with actual authority tells me it's no good.
>>539 You don't have to leave. Because, this is not your fan club thread. I think, one of a main purpose of this thread is to learn different language and culture. It's very educational.
>>540 That's true. T_T >>544 It was warm! I went for a walk without a jacket. But, cold weather is arriving tomorrow. Winter is late, but she's coming anyway. ^_^ >>545 Will it be allowed at that place? I use bon and rin because I really like Japanese culture. And, it's my way of fitting in a little better. Plus, I like how they sound. ^_^
So you and your family like donuts both glazed and with jelly. Your would be an 甘党 (amatou = people that are fond of sweets) if you were here. I don't know if there is an equivalent word in English. It's not an insulting word by the way。
>>547 Wow! That looks like a great photobook. She has so many different images and styles in it. Nonno is very interesting. She changed her teeth. It makes me worry about mine. Some of the H!P pictures are really sexy these days. I get shocked. Not that it's a bad thing, but it really surprises me.
>>549 You can call me either one. ^_~ We definitely like desserts. English, we say "I have a sweet tooth." It doesn't make sense, but we say it. (笑)
>>552 It's just a fictional movie, so it probably won't bother me. I am curious about it, because it looks well-produced but has a strange plot. >>553 I've noticed that about most models, but I still get surprised when I see it from H!P. They used to seem very shy about that stuff. I don't think there's anything bad about the female body, and the pictures are nice and respectful so it doesn't bother me. But I still get shocked, hahaha. >>554>>555 Are the links safe...? >>556 良い考えです...

i hate to say but youd better get the hell out of here this place is a sort of internet-ghetto beleieve or not some folks here do not have jobs instead they just leave comments as a daily task or something i am glad to hear that you are interested in my culture but you can find more decent people as well
>>634 I was wating for you to come back in another thread. Now I find out that you are here.^^ I thought you were away from 2ch for longer than a week. It's good to know you have been around 2ch. Let's have fun.
You said you live in PA. If I remember correctly, Amish people live there. Have you visited their place for school excursion and all?
>>640 日本が常に好きです。^_^ >>641>>642 ^_^ >>643 Thanks a lot! There's really a lot to remember. But, I want to memorize all of it.
>>645 I don't like lip sync videos. I would rather sing, but people would be mean. Because, I'm not good at singing. T_T I really want to speak Japanese in a video, but it would probably be all messed up. And, what would I say? >>646>>647 悪い詩でした!書くことに2、3分を費やすだけでした。 多分、より良いものを書かなければならないでしょう... That was a bad poem! I only spent a few minutes writing. I could try to make a better one... >>648 The English thread? I thought people weren't asking questions anymore. I'm here, so yes, let's have fun. ^_^ There are many Amish people in PA. I have never been to an Amish farm, as I think they don't like to be bothered much (though they are very nice). Sometimes they come into the towns to shop. Some Amish live near me. Though it's not a big community, I saw them build a huge barn without using machines. They built it fast! And, it is perfect. Other people use big machines to build, but it seems to take longer! The Amish are very old-fashioned, but I think that we could still learn from them.
It's been almost 5 months since you joined us at 2ch. Did it change your impression about Japanese culture or people at all?
We tried to invite several other users from YouTube to 2ch, and failed. They would come at first, then leave in just a few days.
You were the only one who decided (or was patient enough) to stay this long. So, what do you think we can do to make this place more valuable for foreign people who are interested in Japanese culture?
>>651 I could guess what their problem was, but I don't know for sure any better than you do. You ask how to make this place more accomodating for foreigners? Maybe that is their problem to begin with. I think that it is the visitor's job to adjust. I don't like when new people excpect some place to change just for them. I am really thankful that I've been allowed to stay, and even speak English some of the time. I've really learned a lot. ^_^ >>652 日本人ならば、私がなぜ日本が好きかについて理解しなければなりません。*^_^*
>>656 You know, in English we are always trying to make our sentences fancy and complicated. I really have to change the way I naturally write if I want to sound more natural in Japanese. I do like many Japanese dramas. But I really think that the Japanese have many superior qualities. It's a little hard to explain without seeming like I'm putting other people down, because I'm not doing that. I just like a lot about Japan and its people. I did an interview for Windows100% magazine, and I talked a bit about this. I think that issue will be on sale day after tomorrow. I don't know if I did a good job answering the questions, but please look at it if you are interested in why I like Japan. It's an "Overseas Otaku" or "Japan Lover" interview, so that's what I mostly talked about. ^_^
Magibon, It is a question on the newspaper. The newspaper is delivered to the post of the house by those who deliver it in Japan every morning. It is delivered in my house at 3:00AM. I heard that I often bought it in not the delivery in foreign countries but stalls, etc. How about the United States actually?
>>686 It is sold both ways! One can have it delivered, or buy it at the store. If you read the paper every day, it is cheaper to have it delivered. If you only read it when there is big news, it is cheaper to only buy it when you want to. >>687 あなたが興味があるものに依存します。
When you also come to Japan, you are likely to be able to become a model. In the problem, you are not a half. However, because you also have Asian atmosphere, it cannot be asserted it is impossible.
I would like to stay their community and experience thier life hands-on if possible. I hope you keep checking threads in English board on regular basis.
If I'm not wrong, I feel that you aren't willing to talk about the interview you got. But I'm curious how they contacted you and how the interview was done. Allow my curousity and If it's OK, tell me more.
Did they contact you on youtube? Was the interview conducted through youtube account or did they do telephone interview? How was the person's English who interviewed you? Did you make a new video for the CD-ROM that comes with the magazine? Are you not allowed to talk about the interview before the magazines are on the shelves of bookstores in Japan? Well, you may have answered some of the questions but I asked just to make sure. If you don't want to give specific answers, let them vague...
>>700 Wow. I think I have a different atmosphere from them. They are tall and glamorous and urban. I don't think I could do something like that. >.<' >>702 Why repeat it? >>705 You must understand that I am wary of your curiosity... The interview was 100 questions, and since they wanted it to be in the February issue (I think they said it is the 100th issue) I was a little rushed, and am embarassed that some of my answers are stupid. I didn't make another full video, but I made a short one to say hello to the Windows100% readers.
>>789 I'm glad you read it! I don't think I could be a model. >.< >>790 God bless you also. ^_~ >>791>>792 They're delicious, is what they are! Cheesy potato inside pasta. It can be cooked and eaten many different ways. In that picture, they seem to be sauted and put on salad. You can also boil them and add spaghetti sauce... you can do whatever you want. I like mine fried or baked... with ketchup, of course~~
Magirin,Do you know Akihabara? It is a region where a lot of electric appliances stores in Tokyo and shops of goods of the hobby gather. Theare are a lot of the OTAKU people.
