HighLux System (HLS?) - or: An optical coating that is unequalled.
The proverbial Leica high-performance optics sets new standards with
the HighLux System HLS?: By means of a special mirror layer on
the prism system that yields a level reflection of 99.5 %,
it was possible to raise the image brightness significantly.
That is what makes the impressively high imaging performance and
enhanced contrast possible.

Swarovski avoids both pitfalls with its SwaroBright prism mirror,
which reflects almost all visible light (99.5 percent).
Each layer of SwaroBright-more than 30 of them-is microscopically thin,
applied with a high-vacuum process at super-cold temperatures. It's expensive,
as evidenced by a price mg on the 10×42 EL that approaches $1,700.

ペチャン型のツァイス32ＦＬのミラーもそうだし、もう高級機の標準なんだね。

昔から舶来意識した味付けと評されてはいるが。。
