>>823 Tomas skated his SP and LP fully at every practice.
It was difficult for him in the beginning because he was still breaking in new boots,
but they stuck to the plan and he skated about 20 LP's succesfully.
He cannot say there were no single jumps at all, but there were only a few.
The bigger mistakes were that sometimes he'd fall.
After Europeans he changed boots,
because the other ones were old and were giving him problems.
It wasn't too bad, but it meant he could not practice as much quads as he would want.
The new boots he modified in this way, that there isn't so much pressure on the place
where he had problems. Now he does not have problems any more.
Now he could train quads again fully. Which did not only add to his self esteem:
"It's much more fun to train also doing quads, everyone can do triples,
it's nice to be able to do something extra"
With his team in LA he will decide wether or not to add the 4T to his short program.
He can only say that so far, he trained his SP with the 4T only.
He will have a new roommate in LA, icedancer Matej Novak.
Tomas says it won't be a problem, he knows Matej for a long time already.
Tomas also says that maybe it's time for a change...because David was there for his first medals
