You have to remember＠｀ though＠｀ that it was made almost twenty years ago＠｀ it was the first show to try and break the "Mazinger Z/Getta Robo" mold for mecha shows＠｀ (if you're unfamiliar with these＠｀ then "Gekiganger 3" from Nadesico＠｀ and was the show that CREATED many of the later anime cliches.
