I want to give an advise to the people who is thinking about to go to Language schools. Actually, I used to be a student at two years language school in sendai metropolitan area. I don't want to tell you which school I was going. I really think that studying language is so complicated, such as English, or French. Therefore, it's really good idea that the people, who want to study english,go to abroad, such as the US, to study English instead of going to two years language school. Now I am in the community college in the US, and I will transfer to the university to major in International business administration. Things that I am studying in the college are very broad subject, stimulous, and interesting. Especially, its not so difficult, so as long as you preview the text book before the classes, it should be no problems at all. When I was in the language school in Sendai, I did not study very much because it was boring, and my grade was extremly lower. But, Since I came to the US, I really like to study very much because of nice friends, teachers, and environment. Especially, the colleges in the US give any bady chances to study in very good universities as long as you are motivated to study. I know any of you in this message board are smart, but just they are not confident to be intellectual. I don't advice you to go to universties in Japan to study English. Come over here in the US. Especially, Denver is safer, and there is many colleges that you can study. the Last thing that you have to keep in mind, believe your self, realize your great abilities, and be passionate. Colleges in the US are easier than Japan, and more open for any people. I f you have any questions, feel free to ask any questions.
Yes! it's possible, but you have to know that Americans do not like rigit english, therefore,we usually say "feel free to" in here. it's interesting thing that even Americans use inarticulated grammer. However their English is sophisticated for expressing something because they have been using english for more than 20 years or something, especially in my college. Anyway, it's possible, and it's not wrong, however, it's good make it soft, and smooth. not like very rigit english. I hope my answer would help you. As the matter of fact, I am not good at grammer because even american college students make mistake with grammer on papers, or letters. Doe' it make sense for you? I am sorry that I don't have a system to type in English in here, it might be difficult for you guys to understand.
If you really consider about improving your English, It might be helpful for you to take TOEFL instead of taking TOEIC, or EIKEN test. Because it's is more broad. TOEIC is good for you to state on resame to get a job. I have 557 on TOEFL Test, but I've not taken it, since I entered college. It might improved little more.
>>37 I am grateful for your advise I need to make an effort to shape the life of my under the circumstance, I`m concernd about whether I can master the English or not but I have to proceed
That'a good idea "kopa". Action speaks louder than words, it means do it anyway, and challenge it. I have sympathetic with you because i used to be a student at two year school, like you are going to. Sometime, you will have a chance to come to the US, so you should take advantage of the chance and studying in here. I know many of the student who graduated from two year school in Japan, will get PhD, or MBA. therefore, you will have many chances to accomplish your educational goal, or your dream of future. Today, I am very happy that I got "A" grade on Astronomy class, and Sociology. Anyway, you have really good outlook. Especially, you rae still young, so you will have so many chances!!I am jealous with you! Keep in touch OK? talk to you later. Bye for now.
