I am working on particle physics in United States. QFT is my everyday language.
The guy 25 recommends Ryder's but I don't. certainly it may be readable for beginners. For example its detailed (but tedious) explanation about the Lorentz group may be helpful for beginners. But it is famous that Ryder contains physically intuitive but actually INCORRECT descriptions. In fact, it leads some fatal misunderstandings. I can easily find people who studied QFT in Ryder by their misunderstandings on the symmetry breaking.
Weinberg is good but seems difficult for beginners. If you are familiar with practical calculations in QFT (such as perturbative calculations), then try Weinberg. You will find it mentions about the CONCEPTS, REASONS and NECESSITY of QFT.
