バッテリーリコール騒動のころは毎日のように報道されていたノートPCの
発火事故も最近はあまり聞かなくなりましたが、 ひさびさにショッキングな
黒こげノート画像が出てきました。
写真はKen Brinkman氏のユニボディ MacBook Pro 15インチ。
本人いわく、夜12時頃にTime Capsuleへのフルバックアップを
仕掛けて就寝したところ、1時30ごろプラスチックの燃える
異臭で覚醒。あわてて確認すると、キーボード付近やボディと
底面のあいだ・側面のポートから灰色の煙が噴き出し緑色 の炎が
見えたとのこと。

「iPod充電中に爆発」と韓国ニュース

韓国の聯合ニュースは５日、米アップルの携帯音楽プレーヤー
「ｉＰｏｄ　ｎａｎｏ」（アイポッド・ナノ）を充電中に、バッテリーが爆発する事故があったと報じた。
アップルの韓国法人は「ノーコメント」としているという。

　アイポッド・ナノをめぐっては、日本でも機器本体から火花が出る事故などが
報告され、経済産業省が詳しい調査を進めている。 （共同）

　アップルは、MacBook Proシリーズを一新し、13/15/17型の3機種を投入した。すでにApple Storeでは
受注を開始している。

　3機種ともアルミニウムの1枚板から削り出されたのユニボディが採用され、内蔵型のリチウムポリマー
バッテリやNVIDIA製チップセットの採用など、旧15型モデルの特徴を継承している。13型と15型には、
新たにSDメモリーカードスロットが新設された。
