　今年、米国滞在中に米国政府から強制追放された韓国人は275人であったと調査された。

　米州韓国日報は1日、米移民局の「2004会計年度（2003年10月1日〜2004年9月30日）追放統計資料」として、追放された韓国人は計275人と、昨年の171人より61％も増加したと明らかにした。

　追放された理由は、米国内での犯罪行為が153人で、残りは不法滞在だった。

チャンウン、精神科）教授らは２３日、精神分裂病の患者３２０人と正常な人３７９人を対象に、体内の
ＣＯＭＴ（カテコール−０−メチル基転移酵素）遺伝子の一塩基変異多型（ＳＮＰ、特定遺伝子の変移）を
調べたところ、７２番のアミノ酸が「アラニン」から「リン酸」に変わる場合、精神分裂病の危険性が高まる
ことが分かった、と発表した。

今回の研究結果は、遺伝体研究分野の米学術誌「ヒューマンジェナティックス」（Ｈｕｍａｎ　Ｇｅｎｅｔｉｃｓ）の
今年１月号に掲載された。
