Let's talk about US NEWS Rankings Just bring your questions and comments regarding anything about recent US NEWS Rankings
I am a sophomore at U Washington. Personally I believe that my school,University of Washington is very downgraded. I seriously want this ranking to move up. There are many good high schools, comapnies, hospitals, law offices, enterpreuners,,,in Seatle area. As you know many allumni of our school are taking important positions at these organizations. One of our honorable alumni is the former Speaker of the House and former US Ambassador to Japan Bill Folly.
Still US News has ranked our school at very low areas. We are very sorry to see this figure. And if you guys have the same kind of thoughs and opinions about your own schools please just write down your ideas and solutions about this issue. Thanks. M Y
First I can't find any Japanese languate type board near here. So please let me write in English. Like I said in the above I think there is cretainly an unaffairness in the ranking process. Suppose New York and Chicago collegges and Universities are visited by US NEWS interviewers ten times each on their campuses. Then do you think how often those US NEWS interviewers visit our Seatle campus? Probably just once or twice.
So my single opinion about their ranking result is IT IS SO UNFAIR to discuss East Board colleges and Pacific Northwest colleges on the same table.
