【米国】国防総省、職員60万人が一時帰休［13/05/15］

【ワシントン共同】ヘーゲル米国防長官は１４日、３月１日に発動された
連邦予算の歳出強制削減を受け、国防総省の文民職員６０万人以上を対象に
７月から最長１１日間の一時帰休措置を取ると発表した。

ロイター通信によると、日本の航空自衛隊が次期主力戦闘機として
導入予定の最新鋭ステルス戦闘機Ｆ３５の開発に遅れが出る可能性もある。

ヘーゲル氏は１４日、同省職員らに対し、米軍の即応態勢を犠牲にして
陸軍の訓練削減やペルシャ湾での空母２隻体制解除など最大限の対応を
取ったものの、なお予算が不足すると理解を求めた。
