Hang on... Let me see... So what you mean with Yankee is true Yankees, I mean bloody Americans? I was thinking about more of school gangs. Well, saying they cannot read Japanese is a good irony, don't you think?
Of couse we have to mention about the problem of "Imperialism" which US has been carrying out since the post war period. Having said that it is also true that majority of people in the US don't really know what they have done in the past. The first thing is to enlight ordinary people in the US.
>12 I agree with you although I am not quite sure with you about the word "culturelist". If we consider about the last election we can immediately conclude that he was not the one who should be the president. Well, if Al Gore deserves it or not is another thing though.
By the way, what do you think about the suggestion of Japanese foreign minister Tanaka that Palestinian peace-make talking are to be made in Tokyo? I think she is kidding!
>20 Well, it sounds like a dream. Surely I would be proud of it if such a event could take a place in Japan, the country of the peace constitution. However, in this case Japan is not nutral at all. Whether this is the will of all our citizens or not, WE ARE supporting the war.
It implies we are supporting one side of the people involved in Palestina more than the others. If she wanted to manage the conference for peace, she really should have done it before the war, before the 11th of September.
(Cont.21) At least it's better than thinking of killing Muslims. Killing Muslims only stimulates terrorists. Bush is killing them only for Jewish money and weapon industries.
>29 Indeed if such an action can reduce the number of civilian casualties that is fantastic. But in reality, it seems very difficult. Well, if our foregin minister said it purely for the sake of Muslims, thats fine. But I cannot get rid of the idea that she is saying it just for the sake of her popularity...
Well, I must leave now. I hope to find this thread going tomorrow...

We will not be the first to use nukes. They will be used on us first. Then All the peacniks and bleeding hearts will cower in fear wringing their hands at the tremendous loss of life and freedom. Let's do them before they do us. Of course if you want to live like an Arab and starve to death , and lose your freedom to express your opinion, especially you liberals who like to preach against America. Then sit around with your thumbs up your as* and preach peace and abstinence. If, God forbid, America should lose her freedom. You Berkley types will be to blame.
>>84 I am very sorry but I really cannot write anything to justify what Americans are doing at present, and it is simply because it cannot be justified.
I am afraid that I cannot think of any solution or make any suggestion in respect of how to compensate what the terrorists have done in the USA on 11th Sept.
Even then, I cannot follow the logic like "They've done it, so we are returning it".
This is a kind of tragedy which we human being have been repeating for more than thousands of years.
China always behaves like a spoiled child, demanding what it can't have and threatening if it doesn't get its way. Such behavior is embarrasing to witness and suggests the Chinese have a deep seated inferiority complex.
It is inevitable that the western world and Chinese government will meet as adversaries in war.
>>85 Unfortunately that is not sufficient to justify A-bomb stacks. But, I understand your guilty conscience forces you to try to justify them. Sad, isn't it ?
Any way. "Berkley types", does this mean "サヨ" or "リベラル" in English ? Huh, very interesting !
I know you all want to argue and fight with me but ive been on here too long trying to express my opinion, im tired of being harrassed so i hope you all will be happy in your future to come. you may hate people like me and say that we dont do any thing, but we do.... Someone has to keep the dream of peace alive... God Bless america to everyone and hope this ends soon.

Japanese general citizen of several hundred thousand of the ends of the earth was killed by American Army and two atomic bombs 56 years ago , and bombing which a distinction was not in again was taken in Tokyo as well. We don't forget Hiroshima ,and we remember Nagasaki! but, I don't wish revenge.
I think attack to Afghanistan and retaliation are mistake, and that will be the infinite revenge birth, and economy of all the world and of Japan will fall into bottom of an abyss in future and I don't wish World War 3, (World War 2 began after 10 years from the world panic.) I imagine thirsty hungry cruel death, tears, grief and cry that are in two city and in Afghanistan. Heaven knows victory of Afghans or of American in future.

They say it's Insularism. Don't part inside and outside. Talking in English with only Japanese is the point. Americans always say us as silent. But truth is not so. They only ignore non-English texts.

It is surprising to find this thread being alive... But it's in the bit of mess. So let me raise a topic to discuss. What do you think about the action Koizumi took about this issue? I mean, the action of supporting the US and the establishment of new lows to send SDF to overseas.

Why is the U.S. in Saudi Arabia ten years after they said they would leave? why are Iraqi children still dying under U.S. sanctions (while Saddam Hussein sits safely on his throne)?
About the recent actions of congress, statements by Colin Powell.. What would be the impact of attacking Afghanistan?
Perhaps Mr.Osama bin-Laden is hoping for an American reaction so brutal and cruel, that the usually docile Arab masses rise up against the corrupt Arab leaders and overthrow them.
The history of Afghanistan is the graveyard of every foreign adventure attempted there.
these scenes, people on fire.. these are scenes that took place in Vietnam, in Cambodia, in Iraq.. in many situations caused by the United States.. U.S. citizens never had to see this up close.. it was far away for a long time.. now it's there, very close to them. US people shouldn't want to do abroad what has been done to them. They shouldn't want to engage in the indiscriminate killing of people.

Anyway, hey 1, just listen to me, this doesn't have much to do with this thread, though. I went to Yoshinoya the other day. Yoshinoya. Then I found so many customers that I couldn't find a place to sit at. Then I looked around carefully and noticed a sign board saying they were giving a 150 yen discount. How stupid. Gotta be idiot. Y'all, don't come to Yoshinoya, where you don't come usually, just because of a 150 yen discount. Just 150 yen. And some of them are here with the whole family. All four members of the family in Yoshinoya. What happy guys. `Dad will order a large service.' I could hardly look at them. I give you 150 yen and give me your seat instead. Yoshinoya's got to be more desolate. A fight can begin anytime against the guy at the opposite side of the U-shaped table. Stab him or you get stabbed. That's the atmosphere people prefer. Women and kids gotta get away. And finally I found a seat and the guy next to me was ordering, saying tsuyudaku or something. That made me mad again. Listen, how can stuff like tsuyudaku be in fashion today? I wanted to ask him if he really wanted to eat it, I wanted to interrogate him, interrogate him for an hour. That what he wanted to do was just saying it.
If I, who is an expert, would say, the latest fashion among the experts of Yoshinoya is negidaku. That's it. Negidaku has a bit much scallion. And less beef instead. This is it. And with an egg. Large serving, ngidaku, an egg. This is the supreme one. But this can be a kind of a double-edged sword, that is, if you order this you will be possibly marked by the clerk from next time. I can't recommend this to laymans. Anyway, a dish beef and salmon is enough for 1.
But repeating same phrase two times is not so cool. Better to change this line?
"Potential terrorism" => "Potential Isreal"
And I continued.
God save Bliar We mean it, man We love our Bliar Jew saves
God save Bliar 'Cause Arabs are money And our PM, ha! Is not what he seems
Oh, God save the history God save your mad troops Oh, Lord Jew have money All crimes are paid And when there's no future How can there be sin? Wh're the landmine in the dusty land We're the poison in the suicide bomb We're the future , your future

One of my hobbies is to mock foreigners in CNN chat. Especially it is very interesting to stimulate Jews and Bush-supporters.
For Jews, for example,
"Jews, Watch a Mirror in Palestine. You will find Hitler there(choshowara"
Their indignation is SO FUNNY(wara Among them, American Jews are quite open to stimulation. For them, I poke in a following way, in Hebrew.: "Israel osee ett esek eff Hitler hayom gam(wara"
It is very funny that the American Jews are confused to read Hebrew language(wara

You'll kill whole the Euro- Americanized world and you'll rob the human freedom. Talibans are very ugly people with their hearts in the bottomless swamp. You are with the terrorists, but I'm not.
You have already been in the black list as a TERRORIST. Damn it, you pearl-harbour ugly monkey!
For all the people in this thread, consider cafefully what we people in the Euro-Americanized world. Of course, Japan is in the Euro-Americanized world. Whether to be with me, or to be with the TERRORISTS, consider carefully!
>>282 Taliban supporters in Japan is rare. You are brainwashed! I only hate the way of doing of America. America and Isreal's way of doing is making terrorist. If America realy want to eradicate terrorism, they should think what themselves doing.
Any other way to lessen the terrorists of the world? The Afghan citizens are not suffering only from this war, but also the from the tyranny by the talibans. They afghan citizens are deprived of their basic civil rights.
Anybody who is skeptical about recent U.S. actions aaginst Afghanistan should read the commentary written by Robert Fisk, Middle East correspondant of the Independent, a British paper. This is really good. He is a very brave journalist, I think. He has not hesitate denouncing Israel, and he always stands by people suppressed by rulers. He is a real journalist.
As a Japanese in America, I hate the mood that people do not talk much about the war here, unless they live in places hit by terrorists. Even Americans are socially punished when they talk against America, which is always yelling "God Bless America", which sounds weird, at least to me. America banned a book which reveal how Bush had been doing mainly in buisiness. Because the author died in a strage way, some people are interested and I have already ordered from outside of the country.
I'm against any violence. How come we can support the war?
We think differently, because the history is different. That's one of the diversity we have, I believe. But even an American cannot talk against their country, which is made up of many kinds of citizens.
>>309 Year! My friend who has PhD and are living in America said same kind of things too. Cultivists in all over the world is low classes. Disgusting! You should report more American mood. Most of Japanese think present America of fanatic.
Now is the era when we all human-beings should think what kind of society makes us happy. American-like society, or strictly Islamic society. A religion is to make people happy, and should not make people suffering.
I don't have any religion, just a Japanese enjoying every culture available. I have some very close Muslim friends in this country (USA). They think that this is not the holy war and there's no basis on supporting Laden, and they esteem humanity rather than any religion. But they looked to me in dilemma. They deeply sympathize the poor people in Afganistan.
Americans tend to think that their country and culture is No1. When one mention that in America, most of them deny. But I don't think they mean it.
Their ignorance, at least in some aspects, are related to it that they don't need to study any foreign language, through which we can get to understand other people and cultures.
AMERICAN NORMAL PEOPLE RELYED ON SOLDIERS,ARMY,FORCES & SO ON TOO MUCH. SO AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN NOT SAY ANYTHING AGAINST SOLDIERS. PROBABLY AMERICAN NORMAL PEOPLE WILL BE IGNORED BY ALL OVER THE WORLD, ALTHOUGH IF AMERICAN PEOPLE WORK HARD IN,FOR EXAMPLE,SCIENTIFIC FIELD. MOST OF WHAT AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN DO IS ALSO WHAT OTHER PEOPLE CAN DO. ALTHOUFH WE,JAPANESE PEOPLE,ARE NOT INTERESTED IN IT, IF AMERICAN NORMAL PEOPLE WANT TO BE IN SAME LEVEL AS OTHER PEOPLE, AMERICAN NORMAL PEOPLE MUST BE AWAY FROM USARMY.
>ALTHOUGH IF AMERICAN PEOPLE WORK HARD IN,FOR EXAMPLE,SCIENTIFIC FIELD.
I have experienced two medical facilities in the US and one of them had very nice mood, comparing to a certain Japanese lab where I was. I felt it's best that lab people can talk freely regardless of their titles like professor, student, etc. It doesn't mean that all of them are god, but mostly I like it.
But, there are so many foreigners here. Check authors' names of any publication from US. Most of the energy of this country comes from China, Japan, Europe,.... I can say that US is the center of many scientific fields, but it doesn't directly mean that Americans are good at sciences. The truth is generally opposite, in fact.

I had friends of a Chinese family and an Indian famly, who both experienced rural cities in Japan. The former people decided to stay in America, but the guy (MD) told me that he wanted to go back to Japan, if possible. I still think that it had some lip service. But please remember that Chinese mostly do not like Japanese, frankly speaking. The Indians are still thinking of going back to Japan. Although Japan is not always kind to foreigners and there is a tough competition even among Japanese, I could feel very happy and proud hearing their praise.
One female German doctor in contact emailed me to say that she really hated what America was trying to tell people about the war. The email came directly to me just a few days after 9/11. She was reading English web sites, to know what was realy happening. But, despite that there should be much discussion in England, the nation got too much involved as you should all know.
One African American friend (PhD) emailed me to say that America should be made up of many opinions and that he was ready to hear any.
Please do not forget (or just know), both Americans and Japanese, that there are still native people in America, who are denying to be American citizens. I doubt that it is realistic, but the American continent still belongs to their rich history.
I am sorry that I'm with extreme opinion this time. One russian linguist in neighbor said, "Future belongs to them (native Americans)". So I'm not the only. If you are from big American cities, or living where few native people are, I do not expect that you agree with me. But some masacres happened just 100 years ago! One of a neighbor native guy still speaks his own tribe's language. He is trying to teach it to her daughter, but he admits that he may be the last generation.
>>340 Please stop pretending to be a Japanese patriot. All the messages you have posted here stink. All of us have to decide whether we can allow the existence of Al Quaeda. You said yes and I say no.
>All of us have to decide whether we can allow the >existence of Al Quaeda. You said yes and I say no.
This is not ture. It is very clever of you to try to reduce options. Many japanese are sceptical of The USA's military behaviour. Off course, we don't have special symapthy for "the Fox".
I believe if the U.S. citizens had donated 1.1 billion dollars for people in countries torn by civil wars like Afghanistan, the terrorist attacks on Sept 11. would not have occured. $1.1 billion was a sum of money donated by the U.S. citizens for people affected by the Sept. 11 attacks.
>I am not for the US air-raid as it is, Oh, lovely!
>I really want to know whether you could permit >the bloody things commanded by Laden I think all evidence we have is only circumstancial. Of course,I admit Laden is highly suspicoius.
>365 Military actions taken by the United States against Taliban cannot be seen as police actions for me. It's just like bullying by a superpower. I wonder if the United States really wants to hunt down Osama bin Laden. It looks like that the United States just want to destroy Taliban and people in Afghanistan.
>>366 You must know that the US once supported Taliban and indiredtly also Osama. Since they have gone too far, it is a duty of US to surpress them now.
>365 I think you wrongly identify Taliban as Mujahidin. Taliban has nothing to do with Mujahidin, and Taliban has never supported by the United States. Osama was directly tarained by CIA, not indirectly. It means that the United States made a huge mistake, and the Sept. 11 attacks were only the out come of the U.S. mistake. The United States should blame itself, not Taliban and people in Afghanistan.
>371 I don't think so. Osama may be trained by CIA, and U.S has mistaked political policy in about middle east. But Osama's action is not justified. Few country agree with Osama's action. A lot of arab's countries disagree with Osama. Osama should be punished.
373 :japanese in canada:01/11/04 06:34 ID:jnHQwSyF
i think the terrorists and the U.S. are both wrong in a sence that they both kill innocent people. watching CNN after 911, i realized they are only covering such a one- sided stories. its like talking about the symptoms and not the cause: American foregine policies in the middle east.
we all know this war is nothing to do with democracy and freedom, like Bush want all of us to believe. this is about Amrican policies in the middle east.
>372 Yeah. If Osama was the man who masterminded the Sep. 11 attacks or any other terrorists attacks, he should be penalised for his actions. However, how can the United States justify its devastation against people in Afghanistan? Taliban regime has kept saying that if the United States can present enough pieces of evidence against Osama bin Laden, it will be able to hand him over. Therefore, it looks like that the United States just want to destroy Afghanistan and slaughter pagans. Why do innocent Afghans have to be killed? Would you explain it?
U.S should not give piece of evidense to Taliban. Because the evidence are given from people who are near terrolists or spy. So if everyboby can understand about evidence, terrolists can find them who are spy. That is big mistake. We can't find more other terrolists. We have to avoid it. Taliban has to hand over Osama without evidence.
This N.Y. Times story should be read by as many U.S. citizens as possible. Sympathy for the people and that for the country's foreign policies are clearly different. Americans should know that easy fact better. http://www.nytimes.com/2001/11/04/international/04ABRO.html
>372 Oh yeah? Then, how does the United Staets prosecute Osama bin Laden without presenting any evidence? No democratic country, except for the United States, will allow such a stupid act, prosecution without any evidence.
I strongly believe that once USAMA has his infernal horde together all christians and fuckn jews better start hiding and other notorious terror acts better watch their throne. I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE PILE OF DEAD AMERICANS !
>372 Wow! What a great idea! Small developping countries can be bulldozed and devastated by advanced countries for any good reasons. I admire the United States as the world's most democratic country. I believe that it should be definitely called "bullying." How can you easily believe what you do not see with your own eyes? For my idea, no ordinary citizens in the world have never seen information claimed by the United States as evidence against Osama bin Laden. I can say that bin Laden is the first suspect for circumstantial evidence, but no evidence directly citing his involvement has never been presented. Besides, why do innocent people in Afghanistan have to pay the price of diplomatic failures by the United States? If you have any good reasons to justify the killing of innocent Afghan people, PLEASE tell me.
>How can you easily believe what you do not see with your own eyes? Of course, I need to see something with my eyes when talking about political things. But I think it’s best, unrealistic, limited.

There is reason to attack against Taliban and Osama. We have to defeat terrolists and terrolism- related countries. If we afraid of killing ordinary citizens, we can’t do anything. For example, one country uses their citizens as “wall for defense”. The country can do things they hope without limit.
by the way please teach me spanish history in English. Because I have penpal in spain. He ask me if I know spanish history. I know.I learned in world history class in high school. But I cant write it in English. So if someone who know it,please teach me.
>408 Excuse me. You only cited a reason (I can't see it so, anyway) to launch attacks against Taliban and Osama bin Laden. If you claim any single country supporting terrorism, I think the United States should be the first in line to ba attacked. Study what the United States have done in Central and South America. (e.g. Nicalagua). The United States supported terrorists groups in thoses areas to destroy the anti-American government, even though most of these governments were established through legitimate elections. The war in Afghanistan launched by the United States is not against terrorism. It is only against America's enemy. If the United States really fight for freedom or any other noble cause, how can it support Pakistan? Musharraf occupied the seat of President by coup d'etat, and it's not definitely a legitimate government.
>For example, one country uses their citizens as “wall for defense”. In any country where military actions are taken, people actually have been living there. The United States has only never fought war in its homeland.
> The country can do things they hope without limit. I am very sorry for my bad English. I can't get what you want to say in this sentence.
I think that Americans should experience war at once in the United States. Although white powder punishes Americans, it is not enough. I expect that many Americans die in Afghanistan,Without it pays the sacrifice of the people from Afghanistan.
Americans should know that he is foolish. A devil should fall to hell.
I got an envelope from NY this morning. I got surprised to find myself so scared to have it. I used 70 % ethanol after picked it up. Shame? Well, I bet that people in big cities and especially people in postal service are quite nervous. I can sympathize them.
By the way, it is not so surprising that some reseachers still come from countries of econimic or political difficulties. But why still many researchers coming to US from Japan?
>>428 >The United States supported terrorists groups in thoses areas to >destroy the anti-American government, even though most of these > governments were established through legitimate elections. What difference is it between terrorists and anti-government group? I think US supported “anti-government group”.
>> The country can do things they hope without limit. >I am very sorry for my bad English. I can't get what you want to say in this sentence.
Sorry, my sentence is bad. In 1940s Hitler was supported by Germans citizens. If we afraid of killing citizens, Hitler had free had. If we didn’t try to stop Hitler, it was too bad.
>>435 >But why still many researchers coming to US from Japan? Medical research area in US is making more progress than Japanese ones. Not all technology and science divisions in Japan have less advantage than those of US.
>In 1940s Hitler was supported by Germans citizens. If we afraid of killing citizens, Hitler had free had. >If we didn’t try to stop Hitler, it was too bad.
There were plenty of chances to stop atrocities in Germany at that time by diplomatic talks. However, no countries, including the United States, utilized those chances. That is because anti-Semitic sentiment was not so unusal in Europe and other countries at that time. I believe that Holocaust was the avoidable tragedy by talks if other countries really wanted to stop it. Holocaust was an outcome of the diplomatic failures. If you study the history at that time in Europe, you will be able to learn easily that no countries began to join the war to stop the Holocaust. That is even true to the United States, which did not declare to join in the war in Europe until Japan launched an attack against the country.
BTW what's the most derogatory word for Americans in general? i mean in 2ch? just out of curiousity. i mean nigga, cracker, slanted eyes, all those are racial. and "yankee" sounds a hell of a プ.鬼畜米英 sounds pretty cool but they don't get offended? need help. そういや夜勤さん★が英語2ちゃんやりたいて前言ってた。で、「ちょん」とか「にだ」 みたいのよろしくー。
"While other documentaries habitually substitute such terms as 'unspeakable' for the depraved atrocities and diabolically sadistic cruelties perpetrated during WW II, JAP OCCUPATION is the first and only to take the gloves off completely and assault the reader with the graphic starkness so long demanded by forensic historians, the lay unsqueamish, and the politically incorrect." "The details contained in JAP OCCUPATION are from original hand-written notes signed by each war crime victim. Having never previously been exposed to the light of day since they were signed by the affiants in 1945*, readers are warned that a high level of emotional maturity is recommended."
I hate the way not a few Americans seem to feel easy about atomic-bombing on civilians. If you are a Japanese, you should not admit this whether or not you support recent US military involvement in Afghanisatan.
>>460 I'm at a loss. Can't you understand what hang youself means? Then, please do that if you want.

I believe the bombing of Japan was justifiable in a way. Yes we were in a war, but did that really give us the power to kill thousands of innocent people? Ohters talk about how cruel the Japs were and what they did in the Phillipines. Who gives a fuck!! you can't tell that there is no white mail that has ever slaughtered, raped, mutalated, or even shot a person. it just seems to me that people who say that are just hypocrits because that same shit happens in america's back yard. i really feel sorry for those peole who died on both sides, but the fact of the matter is that some joined the service and knew the outcomes of war, they knew that they might die, so what is the point of being a soldier if you are not ready to die for your country. i am a half hispanic half phillipine marine soldier and i have sworn to protect this country no matter what i have to do. but i guess the men back then did not feel the same way, that's why they droped the atom bombs on the cities of Nagaski and Hiroshima. i can debate this all day long, so if someone does my e-mail is posted let's get started.
September 11, a deep-rooted indignation of the oppressed nations exploded against US imperialism. US imperialism, the ruler of the world's financial and stock market, and trade and industry, is the major source of the impending world war and the world's leading culprit of neocolonial domination – exploitation, plundering and slaughtering of the oppressed nations. These events have ruthlessly revealed to the whole world that the imperialist ruling classes of the world have been so violently and arrogantly behaved to Arab, Korean, and Chinese people... and all the peoples of the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America. We must first of all face up to the insufferable pain and distress inflicted by the imperialists upon them and their intensive and profound anger against imperialists. We, the workers and peoples of the imperialist countries, must at the same time realize their desperate distrust of us and a serious question presented by the events of Sept. 11: how long should the imperialist evil deeds be admitted and why until today the working class and people of the imperialist countries have not decisively risen up to overthrow their own ruling classes, i.e., imperialist regimes - the very cause of war and national and ethnic problems. We, workers and people, must look again and again the deep roots of the events of Sept. 11 squarely and sincerely. At the same time we must make a breakthrough for a genuine emancipation of the united working class and oppressed nations, getting over these events fundamentally.
>>466 If the talk about Hiroshima is carried out, you should carry out, after an attache case type atomic bomb explodes to New York. Only because of election, Americans can violate Afghanistan. The Americans' very low intellect and violence nature should not remain by the end of this century. Many peoples desire U.S. ruin. And it will be realized while it is near.
Why does the states wanna ruin afghan? Everything is matter of bloody OIL! They are willing to install pipeline from Uzbek through nice'n'friendly new afghan govermment. By the way, yesterdays MrB's speach was such a joke! I personaly consider as He is moron. >>474 WANKER.
>>481 It was Sept.15 so I want to hear his present voice after he exposed to a lot of propaganda. I wish he had not brain washed though it's too hard to expect if he is an American.

Crash of WTC Building repainted the history of the movie in the world. The moment an airplane crashes into a huge building, and the castle which collapses, and falls and goes while generating white smoke. It is very very good, reality is over the movie. A hysteric speech of the President who did a face like an ape has also given value to the image.
Can the engineer of Hollywood make the presence exceeding that image? They have just got the inspiration from WTC. For me, the movie of petty Hollywood to desire is that a few also becomes interesting by WTC.
A naked king is a usurper of the next generation who raises. The perverted cosmopolitan outlook resembles the bully. Is the airplane which fell an accident truly? God never does not save the country in which God is not. It is the huge debt which the US pays in Afghanistan. Until a fool grows and it twists and becomes extinct.
