Actually that is the basis for Abe and his cabinet (the times of the Samurai). If you research the "Uyoku dantai" which is the basis for Abe's political support in Japan
you will find their beginnings coming from the Meiji Restoration.They support the "Imperial Period" of Japan (which the Meiji Restoration replaced) -
where the warlordism of the Samurai was the dominant political feature of Japan. Today the Uyoku dantai is made up of bankers, organized crime and neo nazi groups.
They are the nut heads running around Japan's cities with vans and loudspeakers blaring right wing conservative rhetoric on the Japanese streets. In Japan the emperor is worshiped
as a god in Shintoism - where this shrine dedicated to these war criminals is. The biggest mistake we made at the end of WWII was not to convict the emperor and his son for the war crimes
they committed. Kind of like defeating Germany and letting Hitler rule afterward.
