フォーリンアフェアーズ：新・新・世界秩序
Summary: Controversies over the war in Iraq and U.S. unilateralism have overshadowed
a more pragmatic and multilateral component of the Bush administration's grand
strategy: its attempt to reconfigure U.S. foreign policy and international
institutions in order to account for shifts in the global distribution of power and
the emergence of states such as China and India. This unheralded move is well
intentioned and well advised, and Washington should redouble its efforts.

アメリカのユニラテラルな外交とか、一極的軍事覇権とかいう(メディアの）批判とは別に
ブッシュ政権の外交におけるグランド・ストラテジーはマルチラテラルなもので、中国や
インドなどの新興国を組み入れて外交関係を再構築する事である。この戦略は良い意図が
あり良く考えられているので、この努力を更に増大すべきである。
＃まあ、ちょっと嘘っぽいところや、甘ったるいところのある評論なのだけれど。この人の
＃いっている、イラク問題がクローズアップされる為に、それに眼を奪われてアメリカの外交
＃戦略をよみちがえるな、というのは、その通りと思える。
