米中韓の三ヶ国会議が今日から北京で始まっていて、米国代表はグッドスタートといっている。
外交協議が始まったばかりの段階なので、中国外交部広報官の発言を最終決定のようにとるの
は誤りと思われ。むしろ、牽制に近い発言。
Christopher Hill, the new U.S. negotiator assigned to trying to dismantle the
North's nuclear program, participated in a day of talks Thursday.
"Very good meetings," Hill said. "I'm not going into specifics. It was a very good,
introductory talk."
Hill, who is also U.S. ambassador to South Korea, is just beginning to make the rounds
after being appointed head of the American delegation to the North Korea talks on Monday.
