米国防省の一機関が最近、とてつもない計画を検討したが結局は却下
した。その計画とは、ネットユーザー固有のマークを付けたタグを電
子メールおよびWebブラウジングに付加することで、オンライン上での
匿名性を厳格に制限しようというものだった。

この組織は、アメリカを標的にしたテロ計画を事前に察知するため、
信号傍受や盗聴を強化することが仕事で、アメリカ国内での傍受や盗
聴を行うＩＡＯと、海外での傍受や盗聴を行うＩＥＯ（Information

機関が一体となって機能するようになっている。
