Perhaps you have heard that a 5-year-old cow with BSE disease was recently found
in Japan. Since then I have been looking for information on this disease on the
Internet, and found your HP, where I read a wonderful article written by Dr. Stanley
Prusiner in 1997.
The paper stated that it is suspected that BSE might be transferrednot only among
cattle, but also among different species (e.g.from cattle to swine).
And what I would like to confirm is:
(1)Is this claim regarded as a correct (or probable) conclusion
at present time?
(2) Are there any up-to-date articles on BSE available on the Net?
