Women's World Cup winner Kumagai in trouble after partying with students

Saki Kumagai, the defender who struck the historic Women's
World Cup-winning penalty for Japan, was warned by the Japan Football
Association on Thursday after details of a recent night out with
university students were revealed through Twitter.
The 20-year-old Kumagai was out celebrating Japan's World Cup triumph
in Germany on Wednesday, when one of the students began tweeting what
she was saying.
The tweets reportedly had Kumagai criticizing coach NorioSasaki and
describing the clubhouse atmosphere as hierarchical. She is also said
to have shown nude photos of teammate and forward Karina Maruyama
taken on her mobile phone.
"I instructed the head of the women's team department to tell everyone
not to get carried away and watch out for their own behavior," JFA
vice president Kuniya Daini said.
Kumagai played all six games in central defense for Japan at the World
Cup and converted the fourth penalty in the 3-1 shootout win over the
United States, the world's top-ranked team.
Kumagai had transferred from Urawa Reds Ladies to Frankfurt earlier
this month.
