アルバート・カーンとデトロイトの衰退

二十世紀の半ばまでデトロイトは世界でもっとも重要な工業都市だった。
アルバートカーンは、その建築家だった。
そのドイツ移民の子は、ベルトコンベヤーから運ばれてくるように、工場や超高層建築物を建造した。
そして、都市が発展したのと同様の速さでダウンタウンは衰退していった。
崩壊した残滓を写真でお見せしよう。
