ヘタリア Axis Powers（訳註：枢軸国）は日丸屋秀和原作の風刺のウェブマンガとアニメシリーズです。
これは主に第二次世界大戦の事件に焦点をあてたものです。
（とはいえ他の歴史上の時期、つまり中世から現代にいたるまでをも同様に扱っています）
そこでは国々を擬人化したキャラクターとして描写しています。
そのようなキャラクターはそれぞれの国々の誇張した国柄を見せています。
例えばアメリカは活動的である一方ハンバーガーとソーダを手に持っています。
ドイツはいかめしく極度に規則を遵守します。
イギリスのキャラクターにはゲジゲジ眉毛があります。

Axis Powers Hetalia is a satirical webcomic and anime series created by Hidekaz Himaruya,
focusing primarily on the events in World War II (though dealing with other history periods as well, from the medieval days to the present),
with the countries represented as anthropomorphic characters.
Such characters display exaggerated national characteristics of their respective countries,
such as USA being energetic while holding a hamburger and soda,
Germany being stern and extremely rule-abiding,
and UK having thick eyebrows.
