俺は戦前から戦後にかけての人事興信録や各県の紳士名鑑を調べたことあるけど、昭和30年ごろの
興信録には按摩・指圧・マッサージ師の名前が載ってた。
静岡県の紳士録にも電気指圧療法師や民間療法の西式健康法の器具を開発した人物が名を連ねて
いたから、指圧師や整体師が低く見られてたということは無いよ。
特許や実用新案を取ったなら、むしろ尊敬されてたと思う。
