Sadao Tanabe, the renowned cardiologist from posh government-run Bokuto Hospital who probed the young
woman, was arrested on March 10, Shukan Jitsuwa (3/31) notes.

most of them from adult sites. But there were also photos of about 20 naked women. They were nearly all in
their 20s or 30s and there was about 10 shots of each of them," a police investigation source tells Shukan
Jitsuwa. "The photos were of women standing up, lying down, crawling on all fours. The ones on all fours were
most frequent. The cameras were taken at all different angles, from the side, from behind, whatever. I don't
care how famous a doctor he was supposed to have been, I can't believe he had the temerity to take photos
like these."

"There was no nurse around and when he told me he wanted to do an ultrasound, I thought it was a bit weird.
We went to a room the doctor called an examination room, but the only thing in there was a basket in which I
could put my clothes. The doctor came in and told me to strip naked. He's a really important doctor, so I didn't
argue. As soon as I had removed everything, he took a little digital camera out of the pocket of his white coat
and began taking pictures of me," the woman tells Shukan Jitsuwa. "First he photographed me standing up,
then he told me to lie down, then to get on all fours. He took about four or five shots with each different pose.
When he'd finished taking photos, I asked him why he'd done it. He told me he was going to use them as a
reference for the ultrasound results."

When the woman received a bill for the treatment she'd undergone, she noticed something was fishy, as she
had not been charged for an ultrasound. She called Tanabe's hospital to ask what was going on. Hospital
officials looked into the case and decided that the cardiologist had "acted inappropriately."

to their home. There was one time, though, when I
was running late, so I asked the student to come to
a cafe near my closest station. After the lesson
finished I was getting ready to go home when the
student told me he wanted to see what my home
looked like. I couldn't shake him off, so he ended
up learning where I lived. I was so scared, I ended
up moving," a 26-year-old British woman teaching
English tells Shukan Post.

その他大勢、だなと思われるのがよろしいでしょう。税金にたからないとないもできないもの
たちです。はい。

※警察による盗聴、盗撮（超音波を利用した）行為に対する対策法

1.ここが、あなたが一番聞きたいところですね。端的にあなたがいわれるとおり警察の行なう
盗聴、盗撮には、超音波が使われています。ですので､これに対する方法もシールドルーム
などどいうものではなく、「超音波発生器」を利用されるのが良いでしょう。具体的には､
周波数0ｈｚから50ｋｈｚの間を変数によってランダムに音波を出すものです。これは､絶対条件
ですので、間違えないで下さい。

2.超音波発生器も置く位置が重要です。家の外側から家の中ではなく、家の中心から外側へ

attached to the British military, opened the Yokohama Lock Hospital. Its
function was to examine prostitutes for syphilis. Before his death three
years later, the good doctor was to establish two similar hospitals in Kobe

The Yubin Hochi newspaper of June 8, 1874 reported that the rate of carriers in Yoshiwara was less than
one in four. However through subsequent inspections in Akita prefecture and elsewhere, it was
estimated that between 30 to 40 percent of licensed sex workers had contracted the disease, and the
rate was believed to be much higher among unlicensed ladies of the night. Eventually the Japanese were
forced to concur with Newton's findings.

condoms from the United States in lots of 100 dozen, which they would distribute to their friends as

story, around the time of the Russo-Japanese War, a Japanese soldier discovered sending French letters

The most popular term for condom in those times was "sayogoromo," a word dating back to a racy
novel published in 1702 and written with three Chinese characters meaning "small pajama." During
feudal times, women prevented pregnancy by inserting a cotton pad to block the entrance to the
uterus, similar to the diaphragms of today, and this inspired revival of the old literary term, which came
to be applied to imported condoms when they first appeared in treaty ports such as Yokohama.

main reason being that contracting a social disease was regarded as sort of a badge of courage among
the lower classes. Condoms were also disdained, according to Giichiro Takada, a doctor of forensic
medicine, due to a misconception that wearing one prevented a woman from being sexually satisfied.

In 1909, "Haato Bijin" (heart beauty), the first condom to be manufactured in Japan, made its
appearance. Its creator was Hosaburo Inoue, who worked in his brother's rubber plant in Tokyo's Honjo
district. A U.S.-trained pharmacist, Hisataro Kojima, had brought back condom samples from abroad
and persuaded Inoue to produce them. Producing condoms proved relatively easy, although time-
consuming. In those days the sheaths had to be inflated by the craftsman, who would puff air from his
mouth, and then "fit" the condom by slipping them over sections of bamboo. A dusting compound of
mica was then used to roll it off, although this method had a high failure rate.

"Karayuki-san," became a major export, with between anywhere from 50,000 to 80,000 women
contracted to work in brothels in Asia, North America and other areas. One operator, Shiro Hiraoka,
having been deported from Canada in 1909, transferred his operation to Hong Kong. The Karayuki-
san's unfamiliarity with condoms and resulting problems with disease, a factor in the troubles that had
led to Hiraoka's earlier deportation, prompted him to develop a better hygiene regimen. It was not
disease that spread, but the reputation of his Hong Kong establishment for keeping customers and girls
healthy -- to the degree that British colonial administrators in Singapore and Malaya sent out feelers via
diplomatic channels to obtain more information.

handle creatures of all sorts from cuddly little bunnies to deadly poisonous snakes, according to Cyzo (October).

books, like scorpions or poisonous snakes, are really, really dangerous, so even following the stuff in the book I still wouldn't advise anyone to try and pick

週刊新潮は、怒れる参加者たちに耳を傾け、そして夏の間の８４日間を通して世界中を旅したピースボートの組織された船旅の、

At the beginning of the article,Shukan Shincho briefly intro-
duces the organization.Peace Boat is a group launched in 1982 by
then Waseda University student Kiyomi Tsujimoto to "ponder
about the future by looking at the past." In concrete terms,the
group,consisting of an unfixed number of financial contributors,
started out by chartering passenger ships and conducting tours to
parts of Asia and the Pacific occupied by the defunct Japanese
Imperial military to see and hear the nation's misdeeds firsthand.

According to Shukan Shincho,Peace Boat is now subject to
extremely vocal complaints for what it had supposedly promised
but failed to deliver on board the Bahamian-registered ship
"Golden Odyssey" which it chartered for a globe-trotting voy-
age from June 9 to Aug.31.
海にいる間ずっと、その団体のスポンサーは、学者やジャーナリスト、そして草の根運動家を含む招待された専門家たちによる

The magazine reports that Peace
Boat and its tour-coordinating wing,"Peace in Tour," raked in
anywhere from 1,280,000 yen to 3,980,000 yen from each of the
333 people who traveled the whole distance on the passenger
ship.

Many of them joined the costly tours believing that they
were going to experience the kind of luxury they had always
dreamed of.The Peace Boat tour brochure carried an elaborate
picture of the ship as if to endorse such expectations.

was so crowded and noisy that it reminded her of a ship carrying refugees.Others
note poor maintenance of the ship.One participant testifies that the ship listed so
heavily that he feared it would capsize.Another says his cabin had shower
drainage clogged up and other cabins had water leaking from the ceilings.

plained,they said things like,'We are a nonprofit organization' and 'This
ship belongs to everyone and you are only one participant.' I think those of
us who stayed aboard for the three full months were plain suckers."

claim that the food was respectable,the ship boasted a four-star evaluation
