The 2006 Inter League Finals were played last weekend in Karlovac (CRO). It was the 9th final tournament of the 1998 introduced League.
This year, the League was played from April through to July and teams from Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia were involved.
The first 4 teams played the finals - in the semifinals, Zajcki from Ljubljana (SLO) beat Zagreb (CRO) 6:3 and Kelteks Karlovac (CRO) beat
Beograd 96 3:0. In the 3rd place match, Beograd won against Zagreb 5:0. Kelteks Karlovac could win their 3rd Inter League title by overcoming Zajcki 9:1.
Best pitcher of the tournament was Sinisa Vajdic (Beograd 96) while Ivica Zabcic from Kelteks took the title as best batter. Jason Pospishil (Kelteks) was named MVP.
